Voltas Split AC (Veritas) / Faulty item delivered
I purchased a Voltas split AC (2.00T Vertis HW Split Aircon) in Pune on 8th March 2008. It cost me around 25, 000.
After delivery, while the product was being installed, a defect was noticed. One of the compressor blades was broken. This came as a shock in a brand new product coming from a company like Voltas.
I contacted the delivery manager Vinod Bharadwaj(Pune region) and he said he will send a replacement unit within 8-10 days. The company officials have been least responsive in this regard. They just keep assuring me that once the report is examined they will take some action.
Its been a month since the product purchase and yet this problem has not been addressed. I lodge this complaint to highlight the callous attitude from a company associated with a group as respectable as Tata group.

I wanted to buy 3 units of split ac and preferred to go with voltas. But when I hear the lack of customer support, I preffered to go with L.G even if I pay little extra. Thanks for your comments
I am Thankfully to Voltas Customer support Team. They resolved the issue.
