Vodafone India non provision of roaming in saudi arabia by vodafone

The company failed to provide roaming in saudi arabia after topping up with sufficient money and following all technical and procedural guidelines, the phone calls, faxes, mails, all went un answered and everytime we visited personally no responsible person came forward and replied. It is a pathetic brand do not believe what they say. If anyone needs proof all documents are available.

Vodafone India fraud by vodafone

I had a Vodafone Corporate account ([protected]) till the time I was aemployed with my previous organization. I had resigned on Feb 3, 2009. In Feb 2009 I therefore called customer service(on Feb 11, 2009) and requested for a permanent deactivation of the account as I had resigned and was switching to an Airtel connected provided by my organization. Customer service confirmed that the number will be permanently deactivated and that I should just destroy the sim card. Post that I had paid the relevant outstanding on the account by the due date, destroyed the sim card and ended the relationship with Vodafone.

On 28th June after returning from a week long vacation out of Gurgaon, I was surprised to get a Vodafone invoice (# [protected] Dated 15.06.09) for Rs. 7108.59 with a due date of July 3rd.
The invoice showed that there were extensive calls including STD and ISD that had been made from the account in the months of May and June'09!

On the same day, I immediately called customer service to highlight the discrepancy and lodge a fraud/dispute case. I was connected to Kulwinder from the Retention team. I was shocked to hear what he said about the account. The key points that he mentioned are mentioned below.

He said the account was temporarily disconnected on Feb 11, 2009 (and not permanently deactivated as I had asked. He could not give a reason for this discrepancy).
He the conveyed that someone claiming to be ME, called up on 11th April and asked for reactivation of the account. His request was turned down at that time.
The person again called and spoke to the retention team on 17th April and asked for the reactivation.
On 15th May, the person went to the main Vodafone outlet at Rajiv Chowk and submitted all paperwork including address proof, ID proof etc claiming to be Sayantan Mukherji i.e. ME and his documents were accepted at the store!
Subsequently a new sim card was issued to him and the account has been again in use till then!

Kulwinder's attitude firstly was extremely curt, hovering around rude. He was constantly referring to me as if I was at fault. He did not even lodge a dispute case and was not even agreeing to a request to deactivate the account. It was only when I gave him a piece of my mind that he disconnected the number and again, only temporarily ( Deactivation ticket # [protected]).

I have written to Vodafone as well. They have finally provided in writing that they have disconnected the number but have still not resolved the dispute in my favour and have rather asked to pay up the full outstanding.

Request you to please look into my case. Vodafone should be pulled up for negligence of services and causing harassment & pain to me!

A week back a guy named Usman Khan having mobile No.[protected] visited my branch office at Sanpada and handed a new sim card to one of my staff for Rs.500/-, stating a new scheme has been launched by Vodafone, which they thought that the scheme was very handsome. They then further placed a new order for 5 more cards, each
@ 500/- and further he was asked to deliver the same at the head office of our company at Vashi.

When I enquired with Usman as to what was his company name, he said it was GLOBAL DIRECT from Chembur. So I enquired him about more plans which he was a reluctant to disclose. when we told him that every body would not be in a position to take up that plan, he hesitatingly gave told us about 2 more plans which were similar to the previous plan only that the monthly rentals were smaller. When I tried to enquire in detail and requested him to explain us what the difference was between all the plans, he got wild and started to act as if he was obliging us. He instead said, we should speak to his boss on mobile [protected] and left my office even without informing and intimating us.

when I called up his boss on the said no.[protected], his boss told us that Usman is very short tempered and that he was very sorry for his temperement and behaviour. He further assured me saying that he would send him without fail the next day with the balance 4 /5 cards and a new set of available mobile nos..

He, Usman Khan brought the cards and deligently handed over the cards to our Head office at Vashi. He also begged and cried saying he was very sorry for his yesterdays behaviour. He also told us that this was this was his first job after graduation and had joined just 2 months back. He also starting crying saying that he had lot of family problems, viz.his father was just a steel polisher working at CST and had a younger brother was studying in 8th std. and his mother was just a house wife. He also told us they were going thru some financial problems at home. We felt sorry for his / their plight and on good faith obliged him by giving him that order for 5 more new sim cards and accordingly paid him also.

He informed us that, next day there would be a confirmation call at 11:30 am sharp from Vodafone and by evening and the sim cards will get activated.

But fortunately, just out of curiosity when we called all the 5 newly supplied mobile nos. we found that all the cards which were issued to us were already being used by some other people. Further, we were shocked to hear a voice at the other end. We tried talking and enquiring with those people on the other end as to whether they were surrendering their mobile nos.. they gave a stern reply as NO.

That was the time, we knew that this Usman Khan and his boss were just frauds. We have been trying to get in touch with them since yesterday. But, again we found that those both the nos. were switched off.

We even tried calling up Vodafone, but the moment we took GLOBAL DIRECT, Chembur name they disconnected our call / phone.

Can anybody advise on further recourse to be taken against such frauds.

Dear Rajashree,

Thanks for your mail. I regret to inform you though, the 30% discount offered is rather insulting to me. I am not asking for discount. I am asking to revoke the false charges altogether!
I have been using the service for close to 15 years now and have contributed to huge revenue on Vodafones part.

I have been cheated and taken advantage of for being an old customer.
Over the past 2-3 years, I have been using yearly internet plan and pay for it annually also. Suddenly one fine day Vodafone decides to disconnect my yearly subscription and switch me over to open usage rates when I have not even asked for it. I have not been informed or taken authorization for disconnection of yearly plan or activation of full rate usage.
You can see in the account details that I have been using data services for the last few years, yet your representatives insist that there was and is no data plan active on my number. I find this highly questionable and dishonest.

I am really shocked and appalled by the business ethics employed by a supposedly consumer driven company.

Once again, I will not be held responsible for your internal miscommunication and dishonest methods.

I am attaching the mail I sent to you and a few other consumer protection organizations.

I really do not wish to waste any more time on this issue since it has already been pending for almost 2 months now. I hope you do not force me to consult my legal department or escalate the issue on social media sites and gather more vodafone consumers who have been duped and cheated in a similar way.

I hope you can reverse the fraudulent charges immediately and restore my phone services to its usual setting.

Sincerely,
Mr. Mardia.

Dear Sir,

I regret to let you know that I am suffering from the worst kind of customer service from Vodafone than I've ever experienced in my life.

The charges mentioned on my account are fraudulent and false and I will not be liable to pay for Vodafones errors/mistakes/frauds.
Relationship No- 1.5011367
Mobile No- [protected]

I have called my relationship manager more than 15 times and with no resolution of the problem. Every time I am assured that I will receive a call 'within 24 hours" and till date I am still to receive any calls from Vodafone.

I have been falsely charged the amount of Rs. 7538.97, which has now increased even more with your fraudulent charges; under the pretext that I had called up vodafone 6 months in advance and asked for deactivation of my internet plan 6 months into the future and apparently Vodafone took my request for 6 months in the future. This is the kind of unbelievable lies I was told by the representative. Shocking as it sounds, it is complete lies.

On calling again, I was told a different story that there was some technical error on vodafone side and they messed up the data account and did not switch me over to the plan renewal and instead decided without my knowledge or permission to deactivate my currently used data plan and charge me full data rates without any plan.

It has now been over a month and several calls from my side with no resolution. As frustrating and appalling as Vodafone has made the situation, I would like a final resolution of the problem or a switchover to another service provider.

Sincerely,
Mr. Mardia.

I have been a Vodafone customer for past 2 Years, for the summer I was out of station for around 8 weeks when I could not use the service for the number. When I returned and switched on my cell, my number([protected]) had changed to some new number([protected]) without any notifications or requests or anything whatsoever.
This is breach of contract and privacy.
When approached in a customer care office in Maharashtra they say its not even a Vodafone simcard, when I have been using this SIM card and Vodafone for past 2 years.
This is violation of contract signed with me by Vodafone. I have lost all contact with all friends and someone else has started using my number. This is my business number and has henceforth caused me a lot of loss & harm!

I'm writing to you in utter frustration, I had bought this tel. SIM 2 to 3 years ago for my use while I was in Bombay. I could receive calls on this SIM but could not make any calls out with this chip. In May I went to your Churchgate office & spoke to a Mr. Dilip Smith who told me that the Sim was fine and my phone was faulty! The very phone that works during my international travel faultlessly, I just have to change it for the country chip. I requested him to cancel my account so I do not receive bills for Rs. 54.00 per month. He said he could not do so and referred me to a Mr. Abishekh who said He would remove the caller ID charge and I will not have any bills to pay for this tel. # - I was satisfied with the solution and left.
On June 25, 2010 I received another bill to pay, for Rs. 54.00 - I went back to Vodafone Churchgate office and asked Mr. Abhishekh why I received this new bill? He requested that I write a letter to de-activate the chip, which I did and handed it over to him on the spot on July 6, 2010. I was given a reference #[protected] & was told not to pay the bill.
On August 1st 2010 I received another bill for this very # [protected]. How do I stop these bills coming to me - I even threw away the SIM since I did not need it.
I would like to know if any body at your Churchgate Office knows what they are doing? This is not right making a customer pay for services they wish to discontinue.
I also had a problem with another phone line I have with Vodafone #xoxoxox - where I had paid the bill for April 2010 and got messages that I had not paid my bills every time I tried to make a call and received a recording for it. I had to go with my bank passbook to show them that they had already cashed the cheque for April & May.
What Caliber of people do you employ in your company. ?

I purchased a pre-paid sim card from a local retailer at Bhimtal (Nainital), Uttarakhand on March 26, 2008 at a cost of Rs. 199 (SIM card no. [protected]). I submitted all the required documents (photo copy of my driving license and original official letter bearing my photograph for proof of residence as the house is provided by my organization). The SIM was activated same day so I purchased STD voucher and topup voucher of Rs. 200. Third day I got a SMS informing about lack of documents.

I tried to contact the customer care without success (Till date I am not able to contact any of their customer care no.). On enquiring from my retailer, I was told that the documents have been returned as the same were not signed by me. I signed the documents; but after two days my SIM was blocked. It is in this position since then.

It would have been a lot better for them and their customer, if Vodafone would spend a part of their advertisement campaign on improving their non-existent customer care and in-house procedures/infrastructure

I tried their customer care through e-mail, but it was also equally useless. They do respond but did not provide any help. Their last response was an advice to re-submit the documents, which I did nearly 10 days back.
Now I am repenting my decision to buy a Vodafone connection. I just want my money back.

Attn: All Vodafone users

I have browsed through the entire website of Vodafone India – http://www.vodafone.in but the Code of Conduct/Manual of Practice for collection agencies is not present at all. This means Vodafone does not adhere to the best practices in the industry.

You must know that most of the telecom operatoirs in India have these details on the website. See example below (one of the Indian Telecom Major has the following info on their website:

Code of Conduct | Collection Process | Collection Agencies Contact Details

* Can’t make visit in Groups.
* Can’t use harsh/abusive/threatening language with customer.
* Can’t enter the house of the customer without his permission.
* Can’t take any entertainment from the customer.
* Visits should be in formal Attire.
* Has to give company receipt on payment from the customer.
* Has to take appointment as far as possible before visiting.
* Has to carry his photo identity card along with authorization letter from service provider to the outsourced agency. Photo Identity must contain the number of the supervisory officer / helpline number of the service provider.
* Has to bring disputes of the customer to the notice of the company.
* Has to leave message if customer is not available.
* Customer details not to be shared with others.
* Refer customer with his complete name along with salutation e.g. Mr./Miss ABC
* Has to call/visit customers between 9am to 8pm only.
* Has to call customers only from the numbers published on the website.
* When contacting customer convey complete details such as:
* Name of the person being contacted
* Name of the service provider
* Name of the outsourcing agency
* Contact numbers

This is the transparency and trust that Vodafone does not reflect in its operations. Hence, I prefer this Indian company which respects its fellow citizens and operates as per guidelines of TRAI and the best practices in the industry.

After shifting from Prepaid to Postpaid, you would think you would get better service. Nope. Not with Vodafone. First of all, my pre-paid balance was never credited to me. Called customer support and they charge you for it. So Lame! After several calls to them and being on hold for ages they finally credit my postpaid account. When i received my next months bill, they had debited from by pre-paid balance even though i had to pay for the first 2 months in advance when i switched to postpaid. What the HELL?

After that i canceled my subscription, asked for a full refund and switched services to docomo. Now Docomo might not have the greatest service, but atleast they are not stealing from me.

Hii, I am [name removed] owning the phone number [phone number removed]. On 8/3/2013 I subscribed for the 3 day 100 Mb internet package by dialing *444*14# from my mobile phone, It normally says request confirmed but that day it said that "The network is busy and the request is not confirmed, Please try again", So I tried again and the reply was the same, this happened 3-4 times and finally It said "Request confirmed, You are now subscribed to 100 MB internet service pack", When I checked my balance, Charges had been deducted for all the so thought 'failed requests'(around rupees 70). According to the customer care I had been subscribed 5 times to a service that could be subscribed only once in three days.

This event cost me 70 rupees and I expect to get a refund of the extra charges...
So sorry for the inconvenience for you and thanking you for your time,

Hi

This article is to highlight the manner in which Vodafone has been operating in India and threatening customers to the extent of extortion for taking money from the customers.

This is in reference to vodafone numbers which was taken in the name of me and my spouse.

I got a call from a person called “Rahul” on 12-Apr-11 at 9.40 AM claiming to be calling from the Legal Team of Vodafone and asked me to do the payment of these 2 numbers outstanding amount which was roughly Rs. 9000. I assured him that the payments would be done after the settlement of the deposits paid to Vodafone.

He maintained his stand and asked me to do the payment of the outstanding amount as per the stipulated time set by him for the day i.e by 3:00 PM. He threatened me to do the payment in full else he would send his team of people to my office or residence to collect the payment on the same day failing which he threatened me of dire consequences.

This was the first ever call I had received from somebody representing Vodafone for the outstanding payment and to my surprise he gave me the deadline do the entire payment same day. I said that I cannot do the payment same day and requested him to wait for few days and I shall do the payments in full after deducting the refundable deposits accordingly in the coming weeks. But he refused to accept it and kept calling me 3-4 times till 2:00 PM and went on to threaten me again to do the payment immediately within 1 hour.

This kind of extortionists and coercive nature of people working in Vodafone to get money out of customers is highly objectionable.

In that case, when I was using the services and there used to be lot of call drops due to poor network, I should have gone ahead and compalined against vodafone and canceled the connection as it owed to me every single paisa of mine wasted due to call drops. But my number was shared with my clients and I had to stick with it. Even after such pathetic services, all the payments were honoured regularly by me for 2yrs.

I maintained all along that I would do the payment after the settlement but this person started behaving very rude in a manner that cannot be described in a professional environment and it took me by shock completely. I did not expect this kind of behavior from a professional company like Vodafone and therefore, it seriously amounts to coercion and openly flouts all rules and regulations of India’s Telecom Regulator TRAI’s guidelines of payments and collections.

Though I did the payment after the settlement of the deposit amount, I would never go back to taking a connection from Vodafone ever. This may not affect your revenue in a big way but it is to be noted that I used to be a customer from which Vodafone got Rs 4000 every month for more than 2 yrs and yet this is how they treat their so called valuable customers. Hence, in its own way, it will affect your business in future.

This is a complete failure of the Customer Services of the highest level as claimed by Vodafone.

I would strongly recommend all those who take vodafone connection to do the payment in time or else they would also be harassed same way and they would be given no time to do the payment. There is no time given to Vodafone customers to do the payment and one has to do the payment on the same day of the first call received for payment.

I would have happily done the payment if these people had behaved and spoken politely and in a professional manner. However, I am saddened by this act of armtwisting the customers and threaten over the phone again and again to do the payment to Vodafone.

Hope you would take some action against these kind of practices to atleast protect the interest of its customers and maintain the dignity of Vodafone customers in India.

I was planning to take a Blackberry phone in April 2011 with a Vodafone connection in Mumbai considering a lot of people said the network of Vodafone is good in Mumbai. However, customer service is more than than just good network coverage.

I would be now opting out of Vodafone and prefer Airtel / Idea as my service provider.

I hope someone in TRAI will take note of this illegal menace spread by Vodafone in India. Till then consumers like us will continue to be harassed and threatened by Vodafone.

Firstly my GPRS service was being deactivated because of my negative balance. After maintaining balance, for one month no solution was there for my problem. half of the executives say that my service is being deactivated and activate it by sending a message which costs Rs. 3. i sent almost 3-4 messages then also no solution was there. at last they barred my service of calling customer care. I sent them message and blackmailed them that i will be going to consumer court. within two days my problem was solved. But now again one of their executives called me and told about a scheme by which downloading charges will be 50 percent less. he sent me links but i didn't opened. then also they activated that scheme and charged me 100 rupees because of which my balance went negative and my GPRS service is being deactivated.
I called one number of Mohali Nodel Officer named Mr. Vishuanath. Mobile number - [protected]. a lady attended the call and she was so rude and after that she disconnected the call. Vodafone is a useless company. Now i am going to consumer court . and they have to pay for my problems. Hey never ever by mistake get a vodafone number.

The Vodafone won't ask for any confirmation and activates the caller tune without any consent of the user and deducts the amount.

Vodafone is looting like anything.. The service is very very very horrible.. The Helpline is one useless and the ad is misleading which says "Happy to help". Vodafone must not be happy, the customers of vodafone must be happy after getting the help...

Yes, You are right.

I also having a complaint. I had lost my sim. they confirm me that they will dispatch the courier on my residential address. But after the confirmation they did a mistake they sent it on the same old office address. They said the address is not updated, so they can not send it on residential address whereas I shifted my job from there to some other address.

I dont understand if they can send the bill on my new address why not the sim. Very pathetic service by Vodafone. A name can not change the reputation of the company. Very bad services.

Vodafone India cheating and misleading

MISLEADING information and fooled into FAMILY PLAN -(DA AM Cheaters)

I am an ORANGE-HUTCH-now "CRAZY VODAFONE" customer.

had 4 connections with comfortable billing plans. One Mr.Wahid at the BANDRA (W) Mumbai outlet on Hill road "SOLD" me a new connection claiming it would benefit me-FAMILY PLAN -I was shocked at receiving a totally expensive Billing Plan where a Company cunningly makes its customers pay a higher rate for increasing your number of connections. The promise was only a difference of Rs.100/- without disturbing my old billing Plans.

Even when I put a written cancellations of new plan and wishing to revert back to my old plan which was ten days away from my Billing Cycle they made sure not to and have charged absurd charges. If they want more money they can put a begging bowl at each VODAFONE outlet that is not CHEATING.

I was using a number-[protected]. This was originally a TAP connection (a connection given to company employees that comes along with certain benefits) given by the previous company I was working for. However this number has no STD pack. Hence I opted for an STD pack and paid the required additional amount to Vodafone to get the STD benefit. When I left the company, the TAP connection with all the benefits were removed, but I was assured by the Vodafone rep in the company and by Vodafone shop at Anzal plaza in new delhi, that the STD pack would remain. However, I was shocked to receive a huge bill at the end of the month and called Vodafone care immediately. They told me that the STD pack has been removed. I asked them why and how come I was not informed about it, but as usual, the customer service person has no answer or any solution and kept on repeating that the STD pack has been deactivated and hence the huge bill. I asked to speak to the supervisor, and after holding for 30 minutes I end up speaking to a supervisor who sounded like a recorded machine. I am really pissed and feel so cheated.

Sir,
i have a lifetime vodaphone connection in my mobile since few mounths and i am getting very very bad service from it.First of all they cheated very much.example.when i am going to call a regular number sometimes it tell me that number does not exist, and it cut my balance for the call of that number which it telling does not exist...very nice..Then when i call to the customar care they told me to call 24 hurs later.ok .When after 24 hurs later i call there, they give me some fake reason for their gulty..great...sometimes they take complain but dont give any response according to it...when i going tell it to them, they again make fake reson and do argument badly...no manners...is they forgot that we are the customar,we are paing...and we are cheated..if this thing is done one time then it can be forgivable...but this incident is done 5times..is it forgivable?

Vodafone India non resolution of issues and disgusting customer service!

I have been using hutch/vodafone for quite a few years, and it is at its worst state yet. I had reported network complaints and pathetic quality of services numerous times. Have registered at least 10 to 15 complaints and was promised a response to all of them. Not once have i received a response. On inquiring, many times the rude customer care officials and quite a few floor leads actually said, " you may not get a call if its a network complaint and there is nothing we can do about it." or "sorry! is there anything else?!

Then why commit to a response.

It would be amusing to know i logged the complaint in June/July and have been following up for a response till date. It has become more of a hobby and research. I have recorded almost all conversations with HutchCare, have all their message communication and others stored, figuring out the best way to use it.

They take customers for granted and in fact treat them like dirt. I know a lot of ppl who face similar problems with hutch, and what irritates most is the total lack of response and ill treatment from customer service. Just false commitments. A bunch of ppl us sitting to listen to irate customers and forget about it once the call is cut.

I even had customer care execs screaming at me, and other s refusing to take down a complaint about the same!?

Pathetic! Absolutely.

People should be more aware of customer rights and deal with this legally. Organization of such a large nature are taking advantage of consumers and above all that, providing substandard service and ill treating them too!

Hi guys,
Even i was facing the same problem of getting charged for the special messages to 52425 which was not actually sent by me, but now it is resolved, in your handset you need to go to the Menu-- Services/Vodafone services-- Click on Flash/ Vdf Flash option -- Select activate / activation-- then select the deactivate ion option & the messages that flash on your screen will be deactivated...
Thanks & Regards

Hi,

I had the same problem. When I enquired the CC said that there are some messages from Vodafone (with/without our knowledge) and as soon as we read, a reply is sent back to Vodafone to the number 52425 which costs. I am not sure what the message is and the content. It is like it will ask for a question and when we response, we are sucked by those suckers.

Hi,

I just came to know the route cause of this 52425 issue.

If you notice you might be recieving 'Flash' messages on your phone screen, whish comes and goes away in every 2-3 mins, if not attended. These messages could ask quiz, show news or information etc. Now, you can verify that the charges for these messages (if you want to answer or get the story) are supposed to be Free of cost, but the catch here is these are actually NOT!

Whenever you click 'OK' on these messages you will be charged Rs 3 for it immediately. This is applicable each time you click 'OK'.

Good news is there is a way to deactivate these messages. Go To Vodafone Services -> Flash! -> Activation -> Deaactivate -> OK.

Bad news is they wont return the money :(

Hope this helps.

Thanks.

Vodafone India caller tune activated even after registered for &do not disturb&

This is the biggest fraud which these mobile phone service providers are commiting. They activate the caller tune even if we accidentally pressed one button on the call. I was making a call and was typing an Email at the same time. and they activated the caller tune by saying "You have pressed on the * when you were typing the email." and they charged 15 Rs even after I decativated with in seconds it has activated. C'mon this is too much . This fraud needs to be stopped. we need to raise our voice against this.
Why can't they ask for a confirmation by sending a message or something to the cell to make sur that we didn't pressed on * accidentally.

Vodafone India bad customer service and misbehaviour

I lost my mobile phone on 21st October 2007 and went to Vodafone Shop in Koramangala, Bangalore, India to get duplicate sim card but I was shocked to see that the sim card which i bought was in someone else's name and Floor Manager of the office, Mr. Abhishek Verma blamed me as if it was my fault. His behaviour was totally offensive and insulted me. I told him that i'll complain this to the owner of the company then sarcastically he told me that I'll have to go to US for that and insulted me. Now i wont be continuing with this service provider and will switch over to other service provider who respect customers and take care of documents and dont blame customer for every thing.

I'll advice my friends too do the same. Now I'll go to media with this matter so that misconduct of company and employee Mr. abhishek Verma is known to all. If Company didnt take any action against this matter and Mr. Verma then I'll go to consumer forum too...

i am an idea customer for past 4 years now i have decided to take a vodafone connection thinking that i would get wide coverage network. i use both the connecton. but the ussage in ma vodafone is increasing gradually. i have given a request for my credit limit increase. they have the record also but still they dont increase and keeping on barring my account. in this case it is very difficult to use this connction. i have informed them to increase the limit but they are not doing that. and on 25th july 2009 i gave a call to the customer care, and the executive is on only one decision tht u should make the payment and then only ur connection will be released, i have not done any dues in ma bil the fault is only the excess of credit limit . i have informed them but no responce. they are actually adomment with their words. then i asked her to connect me to her superior, she said ok and then they have put me on hold for another 20 minutes still im waiting no response from them . is this the way they treat the customer. what should i do . please let me know wht to do. i want the rite officials to speak to me. my number is [protected], anu kuruvilla samuel

By reading the complains ppl have above, i realized that i am not the only victim of vodafone's pathetic service.
It seems like they are not at all bothered for the problems their customers are facing. Their customer care always reminds me the "sarkaari baabus" as correctly mentioned by others also.

I faced and am still facing lotsa trouble for getting my plan changed to one applicable for corporates.. It seems they only don't have much or any idea as to what docs are really needed for it.. each time i tried contacting them, they come-up with a new set of requirements.. new procedures.. we need your offer letter.. also company id.. ur pan card, .. driving license, .. if u have ur lease documents.. electricity bills... nothing optional... the more u have is better... just wondered.. they didnt ask my birth and death certificates...

Vodafone has representatives corresponding to each company, they provide their service... but, when i tried getting their contact no for my company, they said they dont have it... even worse, they dont have a mechanism to find it also... amazing na?...

With not so good network, if they continue treating their customers like this.. i wonder how they are planning to survive in such a competitive market..

I bought Hutch because of tis excellent customer service. Its service back then was great, atleast in Mumbai. Don't know how the service is in Mumbai, but the Karnataka service is pathetic. Both on the phone and otherwise. It isn't customer service by any means, they are behaving like Sarakari babus.

Vodafone employess are very arrogant and they insult customers...I too had a very bad experience at the Vodafone Ministore at Cambridge Layout, Ulsoor opp to Sai Baba Temple. The Only Guy who sits there treated me very badly when i went for a Recharge. He easy recharged it without confirming the cell no which i told him. Hence i asked him whether he is sure about the no. that he typed and unfortunately i had not taken the cell with me. He insulted me then and said only idiots will do that and he shouted at me. Vodafone treats their customers as Idiots...
