I am disgusted by this company. I contacted them in good faith and asked them to find an old friend of mine. They told me that they gave a no success, no fee service. After five days they said they had found my friend and asked me to pay not a santander account. I asked why I couldn't pay by credit card as this was one of the methods they advertised. The response was somewhat offensive ( I really don't want to put it on here). Despite being horrified, I stupidly paid. It was another seven days before I received anything. I travelled to etc address ( I am retired) and when I got to where they said my friend lived, I found a building site! NO HOUSE, NO FRIEND! I called them and said I wanted my money back! I received verbal abuse form the man, who identified himself as Graham. Having done some searching on the internet for the company name, I can now see how foolish I was to trust them! It seems they have taken money for LOTS of people and given them nothing but verbal abuse and threats! As a pensioner, I cannot afford to lose money and am utterly disgusted that people like this are allowed to be in business. My advise? Search the company name and you will see what they are all about and DO NOT PART WITH ANY MONEY to these people!

This company are habitually scamming individuals into parting with a considerable upfront fee with the promise of a no result, refund guarantee. They are consistently failing to provide any credible information/service and when consumers request a refund, they are abusive and threatening with their responses. They are dozens of complaints of a similar nature and individuals are being advised by the police to contact ActionFraud, ASA and Trading Standards. If you happen to have already been a victim of a fraudulent transaction with this organisation, I would also suggest you consider filing an application through the small claims court which is very easy to do.
AVOID using VMINVESTIGATE. They are scammers.

I used these people when they were calling themselves gb investigate. I needed to find someone and their so called no results, no fee service seems attractive. What a fool I was! They told me that they had found the person and so I paid - paid a lot and then waited or the details, which never came! I called them a few days ago and was told that the company no longer exists and that vm investigate had taken over. Now looking at the posts on here and many other sites, I can see that they have scammed me, along with others! It is a fact that vm investigate was gb investigate and is run by the same people - a husband and wife team who just rip people off!

It looks like they are trying to cover their tracks by changing the name of the company but the website is exactly the same website and the content is exactly the same. Do not let yourself get scammed by these people _ vm investigate is gb investigate - the company that ripped me off!

This company has a number of complaints against them and has (within the last 24 hours) changed the web address from GBinvestigate.com to VMinvestigate.com - AVOID these people, they have ripped off a number of people, make FALSE claims on their website (793 years of combined experience etc) and are clearly trying to avoid taking responsibility for their actions.
