Hi!
Here is my story. Saw the offer. Understood it. Got the trial. Called the number on my bank statement (+ 44 [protected]) a couple of weeks later and...canceled. I know that probably won't make any headlines but that's it.

It took 30 seconds before an available agent answered the phone. I didn't wait that long to reach them on the phone and it didn`t cost me a cent.

All I can do is recommend that you do the same.

VIV3 Labs 'free trail' scam

I registered a complaint on this board last week, and the list of complaints against viv3 lab grows daily. I noticed one comment from sandra saying we need to join together to put them out of business, so I contacted sandra and said 'count me in'. So there is now a web site tlcinvestigations.co.uk that she has set up, I have been in touch with watchdog. Take a look at the web site, it has sandra's story on it which is the same, almost word for word, as mine and has really good advise on how to go about cancelling your account and getting a refund.
Together we might be able to put viv3 lab out of business.

I was just speaking with my mother who was scammed by the acaiberry exclusive company as well. She phoned her card provider (Mastercard I think) and the woman on the phone called the scammer company and got my mother a full refund! This mastercard employee said she spends most of her workday calling these companies and getting people's money back. For those that haven't tried this avenue, I would advise it. Also, my mother was freaking out on the phone a bit (in a sad way, not angry), which may have helped I suppose.

Yes, they cancelled my accout too "no problem" too! My issue is how no refund will be given for all the charges they charged to my credit card for products I never ordered or want. I'll be returning all products how in the sealed condition they were sent.

Please help!
I have been completely scammed also for the total of £303.78. I believe the companies to be related as the address is the same. However, I purchased from Health Science, who trade as Trading Planet, whilst the debits from my account showed as Health Time.

As the rest of you I purchased the 'free trial' of Achai Berry & Colon cleanse, agreeing to pay the postage and packaging for these items alone.

They've since debited 2x £76.85 for the 'free trial' and consequently 2x £75.04 for unwanted products I received last week.

I started my actions against this when I noted the first unrecognised debited amounts, contacting my bank who said they would refund the monies to my account and proceed with investigations, however ifthey founded that I was accountable for agreeing to the payments that they would debit the refunds back out of my account. I had not realised these monies were in connection with the 'free trial' until further goods were received 7 weeks following my order of the trial.

When the later unwanted goods were received I immediately rang their 'Customer Services' being told I'd agreed to a subscription (which As the rest of you, I had not). I immediately cancelled this supposed subscription and requested a refund, being told I would receive a response within 3 working days. I also contacted Trading Standards who advised me to put my complaint in writing and return all goods so I could not be seen to condoning receipt of the goods.

Then I returned all the products, including those from the free trial and the unwanted goods via Royal Mail to the following address Trading Planet Ltd, PO Box 13579, Unit 5, Mill Road Industrial Estate, Linlithgow, EH49 9AH, along with a letter of complaint in with the items and a second letter on it's own.

On checking my bank account I noted the further debits, again I informed my bank who again said they would refund the monies & continue their investigations. At this point they cancelled and re-issued my card to prevent further debits.

I did receive an email as quoted within 3 days, this email however was an automated response. I persevered with my actions to get a refund, sending a further email. I've also referred to Sandra's webiste 'tlcinvestigations' for support and advice.

To date I've now made 3 phone calls to Customer service and sent 5 emails. They've so far offered me a refund of £72.99, which I've declined and requested a more appropriate offer.

Question is how much further can I go? I'm getting really fed up with this, it's so draining. However, I know that's what they want, which gives me the determination to go on.

If I don't get the answer I'm looking for I'm planning to go back to Trading Standards for further advice. Also, does anyone know if BBC Watchdog are doing an investigation into the scam?

On Monday 24/08 I cancelled the order, i made it on 21, the date in the invoice was 22..I called +44 [protected], the person there gave me 3 cancelation codes (8 digit numbers), one for each product. I checked mi VISA on line info and found the debits for shipping..
there is one descriptor for each product, they are:

NATUREBERRY - FOR ACAY BERRY
FOCUSCLEANSE AND VITALITYCLEAN FOR LIFE CLEANSE AND RESVMAX (I guess). In the agreement says that any CC charge is going to refer to Trading Planet Ltd. wich is not true as you can notice.

Today we went to the bank (my husbad is the card owner...) Cancel the credit card to avoid future charges, they said that with this it will be 99% chance to stop the debits..they said that some of these internet sellers make sure to acces your new card trhough the credit card brand with some insurance policy...i hope our scammers can not...

Since these people refuse to provide any written proof of cancelation the bank made copies of the invoices, terms and asked me for the cancelation numbers. I hope this works.

By thee way ..I lost 4 pounds in 3 days because of the worries and stress... sorry for my english...wish luck to all of us...

Hi ladies, I too got scammed. Phoned on friday to cancel any more shipments and was told i couldn't get a refund! Then I found the tlc investigations page on viv3 labs and decided to follow the steps. Got an email back stating it was undelivered. I trawled back through my emails and found the confirmation email they sent me regarding the so called "free" trail and it had the terms and conditions as an attachment. It states that if you cancel within 30 days of your order you are entitled to a refund. Phoned again today as they state that I will receive a email within 72 hours regarding a refund as I am just within the 30 day limit. So will wait and see but fingers crossed as I haven't quite told my husband about this!

I too have been caught up in this scam. I emailed and got an automated response on two occasions stating that they would not accept my complaint in this manner, but i replied and told them that i would not give up. i also rang the phone number and was put on hold for about 10 minutes but eventually got through to a very unhelpful lady. she told me that i should have read the terms and conditions more thoroughly and was not entitled to a refund. i have since emailed the company again and they replied with the usual saying that i did not cancel within 15 days of the shipment date.
the products took 8 and 10 days to arrive and they billed me on day 12!
i cannot afford this sort of money for rubbish pills and once again have demanded a refund even though they have closed the case.
i am really stressed about this and hope something can be done.

HI

Our bank just telephoned my husband to ask if we had ordered a direct debit to 'Viv3' for £75.00 for diet pills which I have not ordered. I'm stumped, just like most, I decided to try out the free offer a few weeks ago and paid with my husband's direct debit. Something really needs to be done because I am unable to find any contact info on this company and my husband is livid as we are trying to sort our debts out.

VIV3 Labs acai berry & colon cleanse

I ordered the supposed free trial (£3.95 postage cost) for acai berry and life cleanse. Yesterday my account was debited £76 for each product! I only wish that I had done some research before I ordered this. I have phoned the number on the comformation email but was told I can only resolve this by email which I wont hold my breath about! Has anyone actually ever recieved their money back and if so how do I go about doing this?
This company is unethical and preys on vulnrable people who need help and actually want to loose weight. I will never give my card details out again on the internet in future but it was a hard lesson to learn.

I signed up for a trial of Acai Berry and Life Cleanse prodcuts. I was then charged for the full products even after I had called to cancel. Now they would like me to submit to them a phone bill as proof. Since I made the call from my company phone, I do not think it is going to possible to track it down. I explained to them that all I wanted was a return and I would send them the products back.

I cancelled my subsciption within the 15 days and I still continued to get charged. I was charged 3 more times AFTER I cancelled online. I was promissed my money back BUT never recieved any credit. I was able to reclaim one payment from my VISA after disputing the charge BUT they couldn't go back for the other two. COMPLETE FRAUD! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Yet another complaint about this scam! £80 plus p & p gone on nothing! they said I'd cancelled after the trial period ended which was rubbish but what is my word against theirs? You don't receive the second lot of tablets for at least a week into the trial period anyway. Something should be done to stop these people.

I've been trying to cancel within the 15 day trial period, but I've been unsuccessful due to the company being in Scotland. I should have been debited $3.95 from my account, but $5.93 was debited from my account. I ordered the product on 8/2/09, and 12 days later I still haven't received the product and 15 days are almost up; the web site stated the order would be shipped anywhere in the U.S. in 3 to 5 days.

Not only is viv3 labs a money making scam...but the product is faulty as well I had the acaiberry capsules analysed and have found they were 95% caffeine with traces of what they say on the bottle.

I think a class action against this company is a really good idea and would be happy to be a part of it.

I signed up for a free trial of acai berry tablets and had to give my bank details to pay for postage. Unknown to me in small print it said if I did not want to carry on receiving these tablets and paying for them I had to cancel by phone. As soon as I realised I emailed and phoned and was promised my money back (especially as I hadn't received any products) within 15 working days 22 working days later I am still waiting

I have had 2 x $150.88 (AU) taken from my Credit Card on 23/07/09 and 1 x $74.66 (AU) on 28/07/09 when I only authorised for the postage amount to be taken as I was participating in a supposed Free Trial for each of them. I have spoken to the Bank/Credit Card people who have advised me to contact you to get my money back first before they become involved.

Can you please arrange for this money to be put back onto my credit card ASAP.

Please e-mail me at rsjfrancis@dodo.com.au to advise me of the details when done.

Thank you

This bunch of rogues are thieving money from people. However I think the noose is tightening around them and they are going to get a dose of their own medicine and soon.
Like others on here, I trusted this company with my credit card details, huge mistake, which as they stated on their webpage, would only be used for postage of a free sample of their product, said postage was around NZ $10.
Fine print reveals that if you don't cancel within 13 days you will be billed again & sent more pills. Of course this keeps going until you can get a hold of them and cancel which is a feat in itself.
I am still trying to recover my refund. ($332.60 NZ) Please don't order anything from this company.
They also used different names when they deducted money so I wouldn't recognise their company.eg Vitality Clean, AgeDefy.

Hi I saw an advertisement on-line which said " free 30 day trial for life cleanse all you have to pay is $11.90 for postage & handling". So I paid the p & h, I recieved the product about 5 days later. I happened to check my bank account and it said I could not touch my money because viv3 labs have put a hold on it for an upcoming payment to them...So Ive had to close my bank account and say goodbye to my money because the numbers viv3 labs have for conact are non existant and I cant get a hold of them. WHAT DO WE DO?

i was duped by these scammers also with an advert on ebay of all places very professionally done and ordered a free trial sample and have subsequently been billed 3 times so far at about £75 a pop for pills that dont even work . So anyone out there reading this VIV3 LABS ARE A SCAM ! . Contact your credit card co and inform them as VIV labs dont respond to email and their phone number is [protected] which i think is being rerouted out of the country to a voicemail so again probably a high charge number. Also on cc statement it says cyprus so this is quite an elaborate scam.

I too was caught by the Viv 3 scam. I ordered the Life Cleanse and Acai Berry free trial on 3 July 2009. I also ordered the "free" sample of Acai Berry and Life Cleanse from Viv3 Labs. I have never ordered from ads like theirs before, but it "looked" like a Canadian company from the ad (certainly nothing indicated the product was coming all the way from Scotland!). The ad claimed that if you canceled within 15 days, you would not receive any further product. Fine, but it took longer than 15 days for me to receive the first sample (even longer for the second bottle). After having to pay almost $10 duty on the "free" sample, I went to the website, followed the links, and canceled the same day I first received it. Imagine my frustration when my Visa bill arrives with not one, but TWO charges for $140.30 Can. Apparently, because the sample order was not canceled within 15 days of ordering it, the company then charges you for the "FREE" sample. Outrageous!
It gets even worse - after emailing them again and requesting a refund, nothing happens. Then I get my next Visa bill and there is another charge for over $140 CAN. I finally called them today, and they claim that I couldn't cancel by email, that I had to call them. Then why was there a link on their website to cancel? I noticed their website has since changed. I asked them again about a refund and all they said was that someone would correspond with me by email to discuss my request -- doesn't sound very encouraging.
I wish I had never ordered anything from them in the first place -- I encourage others to stay away from this company!

call this number +44 [protected]. give your order number and email address and they will cancel your "subscription" (BUT WILL NOT REFUND).   they said the fine print read you will be charged 14 dyas after initial order i sent-- whether you have tried it or not. so basically it is NOT a free trial and you end up paying for it whether you like the product or not.  Scam because they advertise it as a FREE trial but you should have enough time to actually see if the product works.  also they should get a confirmation from you to re-order first before charging you a second time.  Lesson here:  WE SHOULD ALL BE MORE CAREFUL ABOUT ANY OFFERS THAT SOUND TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE.  NOTHING IS EVER REALLY FREE IS IT?
