VitalChek Network Birth certificate

I placed an order on April 7th I went online and checked the status and it stated April 10th it was being processed I called maybe the first week in may to also check status I was told ever thing was fine and call back in a few weeks and CSR actually said the week of the 24th which I have been trying to do so and I have waited an entire hour and still the wait time to speak with someone is absurd I can't check online any longer because its been over 45 days and it tell you to call but with such I high call volume you CANT GET ANYONE ON THE PHONE! So I feel like I have been scammed I work hard for my money and I feel like I have been robbed and now I'm to believe that this company is a fraud I really need this birth certificate to out my child in a better school and its holding up the application process . this is unacceptable and bad customer service I will never recommend this company to anyone.

VitalChek Network Birth certificate

On March 30, I ordered birth certificates for my husband and myself. Mine was from Illinois and received it within 4 days, UPS.

My husband has never received his, which was from Savannah, Georgia. I called Customer Service on April 14. He put me on hold saying he was going to talk to Savannah, Georgia to see what was happening. He came back and said that Savannah was backed up and would process it on this past Monday (17th) and then send it. I called Customer Service at Vitalchek again today This time I spoke with Karla. She put me on hold after she took my information. When she came back on the line, she told me that there was no record of my conversation last week with your company. I failed to write down the representative's name I talked to. The representative I talked to today told me that the only thing she could do was to report this and it would be 3-5 days before they would know anything and for me to call back Friday, April 30th.

VitalChek Network Death certificate

I ordered death certificate for my mom in Jan 2017. She passed away in Dec, I called again Jan 16 since they had took the money out of my account and said the paperwork would arrive shortly. Called again in Feb and twice in March. It is now April 18 and still no death certificate. When you call you are placed on hold for over an hour because they have so many calls . The worst company ever!

VitalChek Network Expedite ordered vital record - 8 business days later still don't have

This company is an absolute fraud and just short of being a scam business. I ordered a vital record and paid $20 to have my order expedited so I would receive it in 3-5 days. After 8 business days and several emails to this company asking when I would receive my document, I was told by a customer service rep who insisted on talking over me and disregarding my concern, I ended up calling the government agency that issues this document and having them expedite my order. Had I know this would be the process, I would have NEVER used VitalChek.

I would LOVE a refund since the company's claims were not met. And since I had to contact the issuing agency on my own, I really don't know what or why I paid VitalChek to do.

VitalChek Network Birth certificate name incorrect

On 2/26/17, I ordered a copy of my husband's birth certificate so that we can get a passport for an upcoming trip in early June. After several calls, I received it on 4/6. I called that day and on 4/10 and 4/11, I left messages for Ms. Thomas to report that his middle name was misspelled, it had an "s" at the end that it should not. I have spent a lot of time on hold and have not heard back.
I need to get this resolved quickly and get the corrected birth certificate so that we can get passports in time. Please help me with this!

VitalChek Network Cannot get help with birth certificate request

I placed my order on 3/14/17 for my husband's birth certificate. I uploaded the authorization signed by him and notarized, my copy of driver's license and it took me calling the company on 3/28/17 to see what the status was. At that time I was advised that a copy of my husbands ID was needed. I faxed it for the first time the following day. Since then I have sent if not once a day, several times a day, every day or other day a copy of his drivers license and its not acceptable. I have lighten it, darken it, made it bigger and smaller and changed the settings and nothing. I called earlier this week and was told that the State of NY rejected it. So I refaxed several times. Still I keep getting the same email that it is not legible. I've asked for a way to upload or email the documents, no solution given, just to fax it. Of course the fee was taken out of my account already (within the first day's the order was placed) but although the order was received, it cannot be processed. So when I asked to cancel my order, I get a standard message saying I cannot cancel because the order was approved. Really? approved by who? because it cannot be processed by your company. I call have to wait over 35 minutes to speak to someone if the line doesn't hang up while holding. I am very unsatisfied with this. It's a complete rip off. I spoke with the NY vital statistic office and they charge $10 not the $68 I paid to have this done. They are taking care of this directly for me now and I will dispute the fee with my bank. If needed a complaint will be filed with the BBB.

VitalChek Network have not received my marriage certificate

I placed an order for my marriage certificate on March 1st. Received email on March 13th that the order and paperwork were sent on to LA County. Requested standard mail. Received nothing as of April 3rd. Cannot reach VitalChek customer service by phone. Spent over an hour on hold. All fees were already paid. Ideally, I want my certificate ASAP. If it cannot be provided, I would like a refund.

VitalChek Network Vitalchek fraud - birth certificate request - no response ripoff

DMV worker recommended this "company" to request a state approved birth cert. I paid in full upfront on 05/02/2017. The cert should've been received within 10 days. It's now 05/20/2017 and I've received nothing.

Cutomer service? There is none. Just a "please wait your call is important to us" recording that I had running on my speaker phone for 1 hour and 30 minutes while I did other work.

This is probably lost money now. I should bill the DMV employee who recommended this service - never again will I listen to their advice.

And how the hell can this be a LexisNexis company? I thought LN was reputable. Unbelievable and never again.

VitalChek Network birth certificate shipping

Vital check charged me for ups shipping by default. I had chosen normal shipping and the website changed the shipping method and charged me extra fees. Ups refused to deliver the package without a signature and vital check refused to resend a new certificate by regular mail. Risk to lose my french citizenship appointment due to the lack of servi

VitalChek Network company is a rip off

I needed to obtain a birth certificate for my 87 year old mother-in-law so she could get a photo ID. It was suggested I contact Vital Chek. I filled
out paperwork on July 18th, 2015 on their site. They asked for my photo ID, my marriage license, a current utility bill, a current bank statement
and a signed letter from my mother-in-law, giving her permission for Vital Check to release the document to me. I received an e-mail from the
company telling me my ID was too dark. I lightened it and re-sent it. I sent it a total of 5 times from my fax machine and still told it was too
dark. I faxed it from a local business and my bank, all with the same response. I figured a way to scan and save it to my computer then move it
to a file THEIR site would allow me to download from. That was on August 5th. On Aug. 6th, they told me I needed to send them a power of
attorney. I told my husband and we immediately went to a local attorney and had the papers drawn up. He went to their site on Aug. 6th and
started a new account. He faxed them the power of attorney and his ID. Two hours later, he received an e-mail that HIS ID was too dark. He
lightened it and faxed it again. On August 7th, he received an e-mail telling him his ID was too dark and he needed to send a power of attorney,
which he did the day before.
This company has charged our credit card twice. I have faxed my ID 7 times from 3 different machines. I have sent them everything they asked
for. My husband has faxed a POWER OF ATTORNEY and faxed his ID 3 different times.
This company is a total rip off. We have spent 3 weeks sending them information, plus spending $90 and there is no sign from them that
they will send the birth certificate.

VitalChek Network book order

In October 2014 I sent a book order along with the payment for same to LexisNexis Canada for a legal book. A few months later not having heard or received anything I sent emails to the customer service division and other persons concerning this order. At first lexis nexis denied having received any order and payment from me even thought I had evidence that they had received same. Sometime earlier this year I received an email from one Barbara Brumwell in Canada informing me that they found the order and that the book would be shipped to me free of cost and my payment returned due to their mistake. To date this has not happened. I contacted lexis nexis UK head office and communicated with Paul Walker the complaints manager, who after some emails informed me not to contact him again as it was not their problem but LN Canada. No one is communicating with me any more and I have still not received anything after all these months. Please help. My email is [protected]@hotmail.com

VitalChek Network shipping ripoff

I paid big bucks for them to get me an official copy of a death certificate. The shipping was $19. 50 to send ups. They had some questions about relationship to the deceased, which I took care of by phone and fax - - they said they were satisfied and were sending out the certificate. What came by ups was a copy of the original letter with questions about relationship to the deceased! When I called, they admitted the mistake, but would only send the death certificate out by regular mail, not by ups overnight like I paid for! I needed that certificate now, not days later. Ripoff alert!

I ordered and paid for a certified birth certificate copy on 6/22/12. I never received the copy. There is no phone number for the company. The only way to contact them is via email in which I get an automated response.

VitalChek Network birth certificate

I requested a copy of a birth certificate online from VitalChek, supposedly costing $10, but after shipping (they used overnight shipping, which I did not request) and handling fees, I had to pay $38 for a birth certificate. Although I provided the correct information regarding name, date of birth, parents, place of birth, VitalChek sent me someone else's birth certificate. I returned it, stating again the correct information. I received another incorrect birth certificate, which I had to return to VitalChek. I then emailed Robin a copy of the original birth certificate (which had a certification number, too, and was originally issued in Pennsylvania). I just wanted another copy of the original birth certificate. Although VitalChek then had a copy of the original Birth Certificate, they still sent me another incorrect copy. I asked them to return my money, and they sent me a check for $10 and I had to return the latest incorrect copy. I paid them $38 to get nothing.

VitalChek Network non-delivery

My Order for a Marriage Certificate on July 15, 2013 has not been delivered. The Order Number: [protected], Pin Number: 486402, Total: $44.75. I provided Identity Verification Documentation July 16, 2013. The Reference Number: [protected]. The Marriage Certificate is Urgently needed for proof of Identity for Department of Motor Vehicles Drivers License Exception Rule, which provide drivers license for a period of 90 days so that legal identity documention can be provided. I have recieved the order for a Birth Certificate that arrived on July 19, 2013. I am in deseparate need of the Marriage Certificate to Complete the Process of Obtaining a Florida Drivers' License, and would be very adversely affected if the Marriage Certificate is Delayed any longer.

Rip off! I received my birth certificate but the place of birth is the wrong city! I have no recourse! Avoid this company - go to the town clerk in the city of your birth, online or in person - less expensive and you get the right information! I'm out $60 and am very upset!

A member of my adopted family passed away and I was given documents for my maternal grandmother (including her death certificate and final internment) and some other family members. I submitted a request for my deceased grandmother's birth certificate in an effort to complete my family tree and find other family members. Nearly 2 months later and numerous calls to confrontational employees, I haven't received the birth certificate I am looking for from Pennsylvania, my credit card was charged immediately and I have submitted more than enough supporting documentation to prove my identity and address in NY. I was informed yesterday by e-mail that my order has been cancelled due to missing proof documents and $10 would be refunded to my credit card, the remaining balance is their "search fee" and all the documents I submitted will be destroyed. Totally and unequivocally wrong on so many levels. I guess I will have to actually drive from New York to Pennsylvania and request this document in-person at a vital statistics office. Who has time to do that if I paid a company to do this for me? I WILL NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN NOR DO I RECOMMEND ANYONE ELSE DOES. Complete sham!

VitalChek Network paid but did not get a birth certificate

Ordered a birth certificate on line for my son on August 12th, on September 2nd I received a No Match Statement! That they shipped UPS 2nd day air and required a signature for also with a charge of $12.00.. And when i called, I was told i missed something on the form and i would have to pay another $ 47.00 to order again.. it would have been cheeper for me to Drive to NJ to pick it up myself... So much for customer service or any service at all!

VitalChek Network sent me the wrong form

I ordered my wife's birth certificate for a passport from Texas(a state which requires the long form) and had it sent to CA(a state which also requires the long form) and they sent me an abstract. When I contacted them and told them I needed the long form they said there was nothing they could do and I needed to contact the state of Texas. This is there business, they obviously knew I needed the long form yet knowingly sent me an abstract and charged full price plus expedited shipping. When I contacted them(after 4 attempts and 40 minutes on hold) they said they could not get me the long form and I would have to contact the state of Texas. Again they had to know this prior to accepting and charging me for my order. It was a blatant rip off and they would not refund my money. Do not do business with this company, just contact the state directly!

VitalChek Network misleading and poor service

Warning: do not use this company. I order may 24, 2011, june 10, 2011 still not received my birth certificate and I paid $ 30 to expedite services, ended up cancelling out of poor service and being jerked around. You can never get ahold of a live person to talk too, you are forced to send e-mails and they still do not respond to your question, as if no one is ready your comments. Worst service of online birth certficates.

VitalChek Network poor / slow service

Over a month trying to get birth/death certificates with these idiots. They keep delaying requesting more identification, say id is not readable, etc. They take your money first and then give you the runaround!
