Dear sir madam

I am writing this complaint and would seek compensation for the following:

I would like to start by saying that the service I have received from your company is despicable, idle, careless, unprofessional.

I first ordered two calendars from the above order numbers, when arriving at my house on time there was a noticeable spelling mistake considering it was only one word used I find this very bad from your quality control side of your company not to check a single word.

I complained at cost to myself from phone calls, I had to make the spelling easier even though the fonts are available on your website, therefore did not get the calendar I was expecting.

I thought I would give your company a second chance and ordered two more calendars, on arrival at my address one of the calendars was correct but the second one was of a german family not of my family, this is a copyright infringement on behalf of the other german party and on behalf of myself pictures that I did not give vista print permission to send to a german family.

I compromised with your manager who insured me that I would receive the correct calendar the next day, this was very important as I was flying on 22 december and I was insured that I would receive it on the 22nd morning as I have a flight at 4 pm, I did not receive this calendar it was delivered at 4:30 pm on the 22nd to my neighbour, that's being too late for me to take as these were important new year gifts for my family in russia.

I seek compensation for copyright infringement i.e. Sending my pictures to an unauthorised person with pictures of my child without permission from me.

The 10 days leading up to christmas a terrible service from vistaprint making several mistakes on several occasions on a simple order.

I ask that we settle this dispute with compensation negotiable between ourselves or I am prepared to make a court application for copyright infringement i.e. Sending my calendar to unknown party with out my permission. I will start with the financial ombudsman and this will be a cost to vistaprint of £500 just to proceed with my complaint in regards to the consumer act and not keeping to agreed contract arrangements, after checking the calendars and confirming the information on your website was correct for each of my calendars.

I will proceed with a county court case requesting it to be heard at high court level for copyright infringement. The cost of the court will be liable vista print along with any successful application I make for compensation.

I seek compensation for a two week ordeal where I was very stressed from calling and explaining your mistakes at cost to me. I can understand mistake but to make three mistakes is just unacceptable.

I must remind you that I have a choice of companies to use and vistaprint it's not the only one, I am prepared to go public and to disgrace vistaprint with the watchdogs and media.

Please do not underestimate this complaint as I will follow through.

I also remind you that I have documented detailed evidence of your mistakes and of your copyright infringement and I also have a copy of someone else's calendar who would also be quite prepared to sue vistaprint for the same reason.

I expect the swift response within 14 days before I will start proceedings I hope we can come to amicable agreement.

Regards mr stephen guy

VistaPrint business cards

This place is the worst. I had a bad experience with them years ago — the promised discount was bogus and the paper/print quality was terrible — but I foolishly decided to try them again because they had just what I needed and I was able to use their online tools to design and order it. I paid through the nose for the highest "quality upgrades" to make sure the product was presentable.

I placed the order 10/24, and the promised delivery date was 11/3. I paid via mastercard. I received an order confirmation with payment details and estimated delivery date. I logged onto the website the next day to check the order status, and it showed the order details, estimated delivery date, and payment information, including a little mastercard logo showing the payment method used.

I have received no other communication from vistaprint since the order was placed. It is now november 11 — more than a week past the est. Delivery date — and the order still says "processing." I called vistaprint and they said, quote: "I see here the payment was never received for this order. This is the reason it could not be printed and shipped."

When I told them that was ridiculous, they said, quote "you may send us proof that this payment was deducted from your account and we'll be able to have this investigated. Our fax number is 1.877.611.3291. Please include the account number, order number and a brief description of the issue. What we'll need is the proof you have on your end, through your bank, that vistaprint got payment for the last order."

Aaaaaauuuuggggghhh!

For all that is holy, please do yourself a favor and do not do business with these people. Vistaprint, aka cimpress usa

VistaPrint bad experience with vistaprint

Found this vistaprint website and decided to give it a try. Ordered a photo book as a present for my parents for their 35 year anniversary. I placed my order and then I received a notification from this website that as a new customer I was offered some free cards. Since it was supposed to be free I agreed.
They charged me and I found out that they charged more than I expected. I contacted vistaprint customer care service and they said that I was charged for shipping and cards! Cards! I asked them to cancel my order (cards) and they said ok. They promised i'll get a partial refund within a week. Nothing. About three weeks later I received my order and I wasn't actually surprised when I saw the cards. They did not keep their promise and never cancelled my order. There was absolutely no way to get my money back. Well, I must say that I loved everything, but the fact they scammed me makes me mad. Will not do business with these cheaters ever again!

VistaPrint flash cookies

We went to the site and built some business cards. After completing the task, I erased the cookies that vistaprint had placed on the computer. However, the cookie folder and its contents "device" and "cookie test" with the instruction "any connection" keep reappearing.

I've spent the last three hours trying to find the location of this spyware (or whatever it is), but have not been successful. And i'm wondering why firefox (which updated itself, even though I have it set for no updates) allows this vistaprint malware to remain on my machine.

I'm not going to return to the site to get its address.

VistaPrint unauth debits/free website trial

I had to have my visa shut off 2.5 weeks after signing up for vistaprint's free website 30 day trial. I should've done that before all the debits started popping up as there was no free anything, I was being charged the day after signing up. I had "assumed" i'd get a free 30 day trial for my two businesses then, as I told my bank, the company would contact me or at least warn me now I would be charged, if I decided to retain my sites. On ebay's sign out screen vistaprint is usually there in bright colors with a new customer's biz card deal etc. I ordered a few products which turned out to be great and the shipment was very timely, all in all good, so when the free trial kept persisting at the end of their complete order screen I finally clicked. I was being debited large amounts. Some small and at 3 a.M. But the largest was $176.00. Go daddy has a free 30 promo on some site plans. Okay. I trust them with just cause so far. But not vistaprint.

VistaPrint took my money monthly for the subscription I’ve never made. I called them to ask what is going on and received an answer that they don’t care. They offered me to cancel the subscription if don’t want to use their services anymore. Can you believe that? They have stolen my money!

I too was taken for a ride by this company after ordering business cards through their website. Fortunately I caught the 14.99 charge right away. After a call to the company listed on my bank statement I was refunded my money. I will never order from vistaprint again because of this experience.

VistaPrint business cards

Went to order existing business cards but needed to change my title, thought this would be an easy task. After spending a few hours trying to do so because I knew it couldn't be as difficult as I was making it out to be, I called customer service. Rudely said, no we cannot help you because you uploaded this image, we can not make any changes. Thinking I just got a hold someone having a bad day, the next call same tone, same answer. So I decided to chat, nicely put, she couldn't help me because I needed to make the change because I uploaded the logo. The problem with this, is I don't have the time or desire to 'design' my business card, I want to be able to click, pay and go. The other issue is I have changed computers in the last two years, which I would think many of us have, therefore losing this information, as I actually thought it was stored with vista and making a simple change would not be rocket science. I truly suggest vista's computer dept find a way to change this as they have lost a pretty damn good customer and i'm sure i'm not the only one out there who has experienced this. Too many competitors out there happy to help to stay with bad customer service.

I too have dealt with vista print. I canceled my membership after being billed $14.95 twice in one week. Now, a month later I see a charge for 'shoppingessentials'. I do not know this company and again the amount is $14.95! I am glad I looked on-line, you helped me a lot. I had no clue what the charge was for. Now I will be calling vistaprint and ripping them a new one!

I just received a call from Vista Services about free gas vouchers and a charge of $2.99 to my credit card. I don't know who these people are or how they have the last 4 digits of my card and my cell phone number. I told them I was not interested and the lady on the other end said thank you and hung up. If I receive a charge on my debit card I will have it investigated and removed. The Better Business bureau will also hear form me.

VistaPrint - be warned of spam and unethical advertising:
I saw ads for free items at Vistaprint.com
but they never metion the shipping and handling charges until after you have placed
and order, usually involving giving your address, phone, and/or e-mail address for
business cards or rubber stamps or whatever. After they finally told me the shipping
charge, I dropped the order. They started SPAM - TWICE a DAY, going to two
different e-mail addresses which I had given for the order. Luckily - I never got to the
point of giving them a credit card number.

We too ordered business cards in mid January, paid and got the cards. Now we have two charges for $14.95 from Vista Print and Business Max. Our bank is disputing it and we cancelled the debit card. Does anyone know the specific name of the business(es)? Or an address? I am reporting them to the BBB... I recommend everyone else do the same. Thanks.

That is not the LEAST of the problems stemming from VistaPrint! I also received the $14.95 a month charge for "membership" that I never ordered. When I called to complain they issued a credit for $14.95, but I recently discovered that this had been going on for MONTHS before that! And now, to add insult to injury, two affiliates of theirs have just made two charges of $139.99 to my AmEx account! I am working with American Express's fraud division to get to the bottom of this. The affiliates call themselves Identity Secure and Complete Home and the address they give is 40 Oakview Drive, Trumball, CT [protected]. The M.O. and access to my information can only come from VistaPrint. Avid this company like the plague and check your credit card statements religiously.

VistaPrint unwanted magazine subscriptions

Vistaprint signs its customer up for various magazine subscriptions without explicit consent. It is the default option upon checking out print orders and extremely difficult to identify and disable. Once checking out a print order, you are signed up for a 12 months magazine subscription with 1 year free which turns into a paid subscription afterwards.
Nearly impossible to cancel. Magazine Subscription Service (no, they don't have an email, you have to call) say they won't cancel as you subscribed through Vistaprint. Vistaprint Hotline takes 20 minutes to get through to somebody willing to help. Once through they promise to cancel, but am still getting magazine.
Try to avoid Vistaprint unless you are interested in getting a stack of magazines you are not interested in.

VistaPrint services I did not sign up for

I recently noticed on my checking acct. Statement a charge I didn't recognize. I called my bank who gave me a number associated with this charge that I could call. When I called it they said I had been paying for some kind of retail discount program through vistaprint. I asked them how long and how much they had charged me. The woman, nancy said " since january of 2009. I told her I had not signed up for this program and indicated I wanted my money back. I also said I would report the company to the attorney general's office in the state of their home office. She said it was nebraska. I was very disappointed in this company since anything I had ever ordered in the way of business products was excellent. She turned my over to her supervisor, sylvia who told me they had
Charged me for 7 months in 2009 at 29.95 per month, 12 months in 2010 at 24.95 per month, 12 months in 2011 at 20.95 and so far
In for 10 months in 2012 at 14.95. Nancy, the first representative said the number for our call was 700711 and sylvia the supervisor
Said the number for our conversation was 154623. Sylvia assured me my totals would appear credited to my checking account within
2-3 days. That was 3 days ago. My account has not reflected the credit yet today 12/21/12 betty s. Cook - stark

VistaPrint unauthorised withdrawals from my bank account

I ordered business cards only about a month ago, and paid upfront via my paypal account, which is linked to my bank account, I was looking to start my own business at the time, but things changed, then out of the blue on 21st march 2012, I had an email from paypal stating vista print had made a withdrawel of £8.89, which paypal paid from my banking account, an investigation is now in place, because I have ordered nothing more, and I dont intend too. I rang vista print and they denied all knowledge of this transaction, even though it is recorded on my bank account, paypal account which I have printed, vista print uk have refused to pay me back the money they took, I have since reported them to the fsa, and consumer direct, this cant go on, and I will be taking it further until they return my money they stole from me. VistaPrint ripped off by vistaprint: unlawful retention of my money.

Here is the complaint that I made to vistaprint on 12/02/12, and I have not received any satisfaction regarding my complaint:

I regard the retention of the money that I paid for this months subscription as unlawfully kept money because you have taken my money and not provided the services and products promised and are in violation of the trading standards act of 1982. Any conversation with your service team would be fruitless and futile. I notice that site activity has been turned off yet again today. Most functions of the website have been interfered with from the start of my paying for my subscription. I would like a refund of my money £14.24 x 7 please. This is because you have effectively stolen from me, and caused detriment to my business and personal distress. I would like you to release my ips tag to uk host. I do not expect to pay you for the release of my tag in the circumstances. If you will not release my tag then I am asking for the full amount that I have paid vistaprint in total x 7, as you have wasted my time and taken my money unlawfully, not providing a proper service, and created great inconvenience. I have bought business cards and products which relate to my domain name, and vistaprint have acted unlawfully, and hindered me in the development of my website I refuse to pay you a further penny. Of course I would have been happy to continue with vistaprint with the domain name which I was given the impression that I already own. However, vistaprint have messed me about big time, and I have paid already for my domain name with uk host. If I am not satisfied with your response I will be taking matters further.

Sincerely,

Andrea hudson

Beyond this I have asked for the contact details of lori holt, the director of customer benefits for vistaprint. I was informed on the 13/02/12 that if I were to phone the vistaprint number I would be able to speak to lori holt. I have only just phoned this number today, as I have been so daunted by the whole affair. It transpires that lori holt is not contactable through this service number, and never has been. I have been refused lori holt's contact details yet again, and have had to request that the service team get in touch with lori holt to give me these details him/ herself. Furthermore, although there is a page on the visaprint site that gives the distinct impression that I own my domain name, i. E, a statement referring to my domain name which I "own", I have also been informed that I must pay vistaprint for this name - just to add insult to injury. I have listed my website above which is now defunct. However, if you click on it, vistaprint cynically use it as an opportunity to advertize their services.

VistaPrint although, they advertise 500 business cards for 9.99 and sometimes for free, you will end up having to pay shipping and handling costs

I was initally sucked in by their advertisements of 500 "premium" business cards for $9.99. I gave them a try, ordered 250 premium cards for my business, and received them 2 weeks later. Apparently, vistaprint.com uses the term "premium" very loosely. Upon reciept I inspected them, and to my dismay but not to my surprise, I found myself somewhat disappointed in what I recieved. My business cards seemed more a novelty item than a premium one.

It appears that the saying "you get what you pay for", rings true in this case.in the future, I will stick with a local press.

A quick note: although, they advertise 500 business cards for 9.99 and sometimes for free, you will end up having to pay shipping and handling costs. You will also have to pay to upgrade anything to what they consider premium standards. And by premium, I actually mean: premium, to vistaprint.com's standards. Which, in my opinion, isn't that high.

Paying for shipping is normal at every online printing company.
Vistaprint does offer OK quality for a very good price, if you want the best quality be prepared to pay the price for it!
btw: it does pay off to order the extra heavy card stock from Vistaprint. It doesn't cost much more but your cards will look much more professional

VistaPrint vista print is worthless to any serious small business, that needs to make every dollar count

I am a business owner and used vista print.com for my printing needs. On several occassions my hours of work on their site was deleted and their international support line is unbearable with individuals whose voices can not be understood by english speaking people. They are without good reasons why hours of work can suddenly dissappear even when you follow their prompts to save your work and cannot do so sucessfully and when it vanishes into cyberspace never to be retrieved again. So in other words - you sat there working on a project or projects, for nothing! You call to complain and are patronized with a hard to hear or understand their accent, person, who could care less about you or the time, energy and money you lost and continue to lose when having to place a call to what appears to be india, accompanied with high phone bills or cell phone usage! Of course noone offers to compensate you for that either! When the goods arrive the quality is loew grade. The tee shirts fade with only one wash and are not legible after that. The documents do not match what you think you are buying online. Fixing any problems, just creates anew one to add to the already ones you will have! Not to mention the tim and expense to do is not worth it. The free incentatives they constantly email you are never free and when you call to complain, you are place on holds that never end. Eventually if you are lucky to get a so-called supervisor they do not assist with any credit card refunds and promise a small insignificant refund for future orders. Which after this happens over and over... All you want is your $ back not a store credit - just to have to go through it all again! What a rip off! Anyone considering this sight, would be better off purchasing a program to be used in your office to create your own work for brocures signs etc.. And take it locally to be printed after you create it yourself. Save yourself the time and aggrevation and money, and more money you will continue to shell out, only to be completely disappointed in the end. All attempts to speak to the director of sales, goe unanswered and attempts to find any mailing address to complain is impossible. Vista print is worthless to any serious small business, that needs to make every dollar count.

So in other words- you sat there working on a project or projects, for NOTHING! The documents do not match what you think you are buying online.Fixing any problems, just creates anew one to add to the already ones you will have! Which after this happens over and over...all you want is your $$$$ back Not a store credit- just to have to go through it all again! What a rip off! Anyone considering this sight, would be better off purchasing a program to be used in your office to create your own work for brocures signs etc.. and take it locally to be printed after you create it yourself. Save yourself the time and aggrevation and money, and more money you will continue to shell out, only to be completel dissappointed in the end. All attempts to speak to the Director of Sales, goe unanswered and attempts to find any mailing address to complain is impossible. Vista Print is worthless to any serious small business, that needs to make every dollar count.

VistaPrint defective product

I ordered two rubber stamps for my name/address. Upon them coming in, vistaprint had printed the street address on two lines and left off the city, state and zipcode. On their web site it indicated that there was a 100% money back replacement policy if not satisfied. I emailed their customer service, and they stated that it was not their problem, and it was due to customer not entering the address correctly. I entered the address on 4 lines, and I showed them the way that it was entered, and they still continue to refuse to honor their own guarantee. So much for business. I would not give them another dime, and I ask other businesses to do the same.

VistaPrint their whole operation

I am a very intelligent person. I am registered with a board of pharmacy and work in nuclear pharmacy. You would think I would have made a better choice. Vistaprint is "horrible"! My printed products are never right, even with numerous attemps to correct it. The font, color, or design layout out choice is never what I recieve. The very pretty engraved silver business case I bought, was sent to me with a lip that would not hold shut. I ruined about 30 business cards from them falling in the rain or onto the ground, and it made me look very unprofessional. They advertise all these free products, but then escalate the price in the shipping. I started a business and decided to used them for my web hosting (there was a design that I absolutely loved) and had the premium package, and after 6 months I decided to type in my url and I could not believe that it did not even come up! What a waste of $20 (I was being charged to edit $4.99). So I started looking for other web hosters. I called vistaprint to explain that I might be moving my url-domain name that I picked out (not them) and they wanted $20 to release it! So in the meantime I decided I wanted to downgrade my plan to a starter plan which was the only way I staying for now. Well, to do that I could not keep the url-domain name (I picked out). It could no longer be a (.com), it would be my company name with vp something added then (.com), knowing this would render all the business cards, postcards, magnets, calanders etc useless! What a scam this is. My experience with dealing with their customer service is just as bad! I never get the same answer twice, they are some of the most unhelpful, unknowledgeable, cant speak legible english, rude, when question i'm always told "I just checked with my supervisor" (we are talking... So when did that supervisor conversation take place) and that is the right answer. Needless to say "I am done". So today I called to ask what the number to the head office was, and was told that they dont know it! That was it! I then asked who held the copyright to the design I use for my business (had to call 4 times). Got 4 different answers (and an fyi to all vistaprint employees... (getty images stopped doing business with you "3 years ago"). I did find out who designed the image (it was not vistaprints design team as I was told), and will be taking it with me when I leave (I bought a license to it).in closing, this company is horrible in both goods and services. I will be relieved when I am completely unrelated to vistaprint. Terrible business...

Wow! I placed an order from Vista trying to save a few bucks. It ended up costing me more in the end. The cards were more spotty than if I printed them on my laser printer in the office. I actually called them and complained and they said I needed to purchase their "premium" cards. Yeah right! That's what I get for trying to save $10 lol. I usually order from www.val-print.com They have the online design thingy but I usually do mine on my on with Publisher so I always uploaded my files. Their customer service is pretty good but the quality is actually extremely good. Hope this helps!

VistaPrint withdrawl of money

I am trying to expand my business. So I wanted to make business cards for my photography business. I was watching t.V. One night with my boyfriend and there was an ad for a business advertising business cards. I jumped online and they seemed pretty legit until I made business cards and got charged more then I wanted. Come to find out many people were having this problem! I got a 30$ package of 500 business cards and every month I was getting 70 plus dollars taken out! There was no notice I had no idea of these charges until I saw my bank statements every month and noticed a trend. I was furious when I noticed and I went on the website for contact information and there was none! So I talked with my mom and we found a number and the first thing on the answer machine was "are there charges to your account press 1" so they said they would try all they can do to give me my money back! This made me laugh because what I thought was great was a scam! Please don't use vistaprint!

VistaPrint rude customer service

I called to cancel web memberships. The customer service department is terrible. She asked why I was cancelling and I just told her - because I want to! It is none of their business why people choose to cancel!

As I am waiting for her to cancel I have been waiting for more than 15 minutes on the phone and there was laughing in the background (very unprofessional!).

I have a funeral to attend and you would think that a company that sells websites would be a little faster in just cancelling a simple membership to avoid future payments!

I highlyl do no not recommend.

VistaPrint automatic billing issues

I purchases business cards and other printed materials form vistaprint for years, but in 2009 I ordered business cards and they offered a hosted website account to match the business card on a trial. I did not notice that I the automatic billing option was checked by default. This last week I noticed charges on my credit card for 9.98 per month and did not know what this was for.

After investigating the account I had been charge over 20 months for a website I was not using. My complaint is that I did not receive any email confirmations of these monthly charges as I do for other services I subscribe to. I call accounting at visit print to work this out. They confirmed that no confirmations are being mailed monthly. The only way I could catch this was to log into my vistaprint account or check the details of a credit card statement.
This is not acceptable for any subscription automatic charges not confirm the charges monthly. So be aware whenever order anything from vistaprint because they have designed the ordering process to add other stuff to the account and will have these services defaulted checked.

I was refunded only 2 of the 20 months. This could have paid for a months worth of gas.
