VA Decking has several companies registered under it and does shoddy job. We think the parent company name is Virginia Decking & Remodeling and they have many websites which redirect to www.vadeck.com. They also have collabaration with many shell companies like Cross Creek Properties and the contracts are made under this company by the owner of Virginia Decking and remodeling. They claim that their pricing is reasonable but mostly the job is sub contracted to other companies and they take huge cut. VA Decks also keeps huge margin on the decking material, when you buy it directly from the lumber dealer the prices are atleast 40% less than the prices which Virginia Decking quotes. The spreadsheet on their website is misleading because they don't give the realistic numbers.
VA Decks or Virginia Decking and remodeling is a middle man kind of company, they do not do the actual work. The decking projects are sub contracted and they do a very bad job. They do not complete the work in the time and will evade you by not taking calls and never calling you back or replying back to your emails. I really had very bad experience. I will never recommend them.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
VA Decking is just a sham. They fleece customers on the pricing of the decking material. They feed the prices to their suppliers and get the difference between the 'fed" prices and wholesale prices as commission. You could get better pricing on the material if you walked into any store yourself. Compare the prices that they have on the site to these prices for vinyl railings

The railing prices are quoted at more than 2 times these prices on the spreadsheet on the website.
For solar caps look at http://www.usavinyl.com/5x5gasopocap.html. Again the prices quoted on their sheet are 3 times the price.
Similarly for the geo decking material the prices are overstated by 30-40%.
They are price gouging people. Stay away.

I am a Virginia Class A licensed contractor, fully insured ($2 million) and a proud member in good standing with two Better Business Bureaus in Virginia and have been for many years. I would not recommend Virginia Decking and Remodeling, VA Deck or Cross Creek Properties because they procatinate and never try to finish your job and need to do followup so many times. There are many deck builders who can do better job than them.
