I have received a leaflet through my door entitled Play Your Guide to Virgin TV, my 3 year old son saw the picture on the front cover of the leaflet which is regarding a new TV Crime series on FX channel 179 called Dexter.

The picture on the front cover is of the character Dexter looking quite sinister holding a large dagger which even has blood on it. My 3 year old said "mummy this isn't very nice, is this man going to kill some one", i had to try and think of some plausible reason why he had a dagger with blood on it which was not easy, and although i managed to think of something not very convincing the image has upset him.

I am cross that images like this are allowed to be published and young children able to come across them accidentally via the letterbox that is why certain program's such as this are on after certain times in the evening. This has caused my son and family distress and await your early reply and hope that future advertising will recognize that young children may come across them.

Missing bills. copy to dvd service has to be reset by turning machine off. on demand service does not work all the time. Planned recordings are missed or start at wrong time. Picture format constantly change whilst watching the same program. Sound volumes are ridiculous there is 30 db difference between tv and radio and 15 db between programs and adverts some programs there is a bigger difference. I bought this service for my home cinema set up thinking that films would be broadcast in dts dolby or at least 5.1 and the only channel that does this is bbc had so i know it is possible, most tv programs are recorded in a 5.1 format so why is it not broadcast that way. I have tried to speak with operators on the 150 service and i may as well bang my head against a wall, most of the time it is an indian call center that have automated answers and if it gets to complicated they just hang up. I find this service an absolute joke and will not be renewing my contract.

I went to put my television on this morning but my set top box kept turning it off and the reason i know that it was the set top box is because i put my sky set top box on and my television is now working just fine i thought that my television was to blame and i was ready to get in touch with the place where i got my television from to replace my box and another thing that. I am angry at is that i have to pay £21.00 for the additional set top box because i got it installed after the bill was sent out. Now I'm paying £42 for this month just so as i can watch my television in my living room and not have to pay both sky&virgin i think that, i have made a mistake to go for virgin instead of sky plus while I'm on the subject about paying extra for another set top box. I also have to pay £30 to get another box installed which is an additional box and i had all the connections already in my living room so all the person had to do was bring in the box and add some more cable to the cable that was already there.
