This company is a TOTAL RIP OFF! You try to pay off the loan and they keep taking money from your account! What they do is take only the interest. For instance you have $100 to pay off with the interest of $30. You call and tell them and tell them to take the $130 from the account and what do they do? They just keep taking the $30 from your account, not the full amount as you requested! So you pay a huge amount on their interest "game" and have a hell of a time getting this company to take the amount you want them to so you can be rid of these loan sharks!

VIP Loan Shop is no longer in business, this is correct. They have merged with American Financial Services which is basically a debt collection agency. This company previously offered PayDay Loans to people who met a certain criteria. Alot of times when people are desperate for funds, they completely overlook the terms and agreement and just check off the box to get the money deposited immediately. I am not saying this is what happened in your case. I don't no what to do these people have this place calling me saying I owe them 1200 and they have all my info an they wait until now I was having problems with my account and I asked the women how much was the loan for she couldn't even tell me that then told me VIP loan shop is not in business anymore that's a lie Can someone please help me with this I have no clue where this loan came from so I think I deserve to know how much it was for I need HELP!
I had the same issue with them. i sent in to apply 200 to the loan and the only yook 60 for finance charge leaving me with the whole balance. They are thiefs. DO NOT borrow money from this company. I just thru out the window 60 bucks and left with the whole amount due. Then they wanted me to pay off the whole amount, if that would havebeen the case I would have not request to apply a parcial payment.
I am fuming with this. How can they get away with this? These companies need to have certain restrictions applied where they are virtually scamming money out of customers!
I got a loan from VIP Loan Shop for $400 and they took out $240 a month from mine and my husband for 5 months. If i do my math right that is $1200. The payment was $60 and I agreed for them to take out an extra $60 to get it paid off quicker. When we got in a bind with our bank account I called and talked to someone about it and ask them about the $1200 they had already gotten I was told that I had only paid interest. I ask about the extra $60 they were taking out and that said that the first payment was $60 and then it went to $120 dollars for interest. Not to mention that they kept trying to get money out of the account and my husband and I had no check for a month and a half because we could not close out the account and our checks went direct deposit. And now they are saying because we had to close out the account they are charging me with fraud. THIS PLACE NEEDS TO BE OUT OF BUSINESS! DO NOT EVER GET A LOAN FROM THEM! But the way I see it you can't do people the way they are doing and get by with it for long.
DO NOT GET A LOAN FROM THESE COMPANIES! I recieved a loan from them for $280.00 and I have paid $450.00, They want an additional $600.00 on top of that..I have paid this loan per my agreement with them..It was paid in full and on time..I informed my lawyer and I am contacting the Better Buisness about this matter...These companies tell lies about the pay backs so people will take their loans. When you call them to find out why they keep taking money out of your account after the loan was paid in full, they say its interest..I call it theft ! I asked the person whom I talked to if he really thought that this was legal..he had no answer...I asked him if he would get a loan from the company he works for and he said no.
