My brother and I were in the Village Inn at 4416 Dodge Street Omaha, NE. On Sunday December 16th of 2018, at around 10 am. We were already seated when they host(ess) sat two men close to our table, one gentleman had a VIP/Cigarette in his hand, he set it down on the table and within 2 mins took a drag off it and bent down and let it out. My brother who i...

This situation took place on 12/7. I spoke with the General Manager, Nur Nobi about it on 12/8. I want to ensure you are aware of it also, just in case the GM doesn't take any action to rectify it. I was eating dinner at your restaurant between 4pm - 6pm on 12/7. My server, Krystal was doing a great job but she was busy with several tables. I was sitting...

Village Inn Restaurants host

I was in your store today to have breakfast and was very surprised and annoyed by one of your hosts. Her name is Desiree and she has zero customer service. The entire hour that I was there she did nothing but walk around the restaurant with a singing Christmas decoration talking about how cute it was. She was showing other customers and would seem to get upset if they didnt agree that it was cute. She also would just walk back and forth between the register and the kitchen multiple times without taking care of any customers. When my mother accidentally dropped her fork on the floor she just walked past. I had to find someone else to get us a new one, even though she saw what happened. I thought her behavior was very rude and it seemed to me that she didnt care if she was doing her job or not. I have worked customer service in the past and this type of behavior would of never been accepted.

Village Inn Restaurants products and services

We were at the Centennial location last night as we do weekly. The past several weeks our food has come out cold so last night I requested the server bring the food to our table hot. The eggs were rubbery. When we placed our order, the server gave us the option of buttermilk. Pumpkin or blueberry pancakes and either bacon or sausage. There was no mention of an upcharge. However when we got the bill we were upcharged for the pancakes and sausage pattu which were included in the meal. We complained to the manager about this and he was very rude asking if we had told our server. Well our server was nowhere to be found. The manager should just take care of the customers. He should also get a handle on his wait staff instead of just saying well its busy on Wed. Then bring in more staff! We most likely will not eat here again!

My husband and I are both disabled and unable to cook at home. Consequently we eat out a lot. Over the past 4 years or so we've visited the Village Inn at 310 E. Bell Rd in Phoenix AZ 4-5 times per week. We've gotten to know most of the evening staff there. From managers, servers, cooks and even the one buser they have. Everyone has always been super nice...

Our family went to village inn #700153 for thanksgiving dinner. It was horrible. 2 small pieces of turkey a few mashed potatoes and a little dab of dressing and a roll(the roll took up most of the plate). No vegetable?? Then a piece of pumpkin pie at end Pie was the only good thing about the meal!! And all this for 13.99!!! Rip off for sure. We enjoy village inn for breakfast but your dinners suck!!! Never again!!!

As our day started today November 23 my family and I were having a wonderful morning and we decided to go to village inn that's located 17030 N Scottsdale Rd, AZ 85255, we got seated and everything was going good when they attended us as they took our orders and once we received it we didn't get a silverware so we can eat our food and my son got up and...

Village Inn Restaurants a hair

Me and my cousin went to eat for lunch today, as soon as I got my lunch, mind we only had a hour to eat, I saw a black womans hair on my chicken. I freaked and my cousin didn't want me to say anything while we were there because she was in a hurry to get back. I felt sick to my stomach and couldn't hardly eat. We had a bogo coupon which we were happy to use but shouldn't have had to have food with a black hair across the chicken. I love that place but when I arrived to sit down also the people who were across the table told me not to because there was a huge cockroach running on the seats. I was disgusted! I love this place and don't want to see it go down. Please have people use hair nets and I guess clean better so you don't have roaches.

I went to the Village Inn for breakfast on 11-11-2018. The restaurant was under staffed then when I order the first time my food came out cold, and the 2nd time the waitress brought out my order the eggs where over medium instead of over easy and there was a hair on my plate. I went to the Village Inn on 12th st.in Ogden Ut. I will never visit this place again. Thank you Kevin Story

Village Inn Restaurants management at 60th and l in omaha, ne

I went in for dinner last night about 10:00pm. The lady who seated us was clearly the manager. She was very nice. However, she had a cigarette tucked behind her ear. I was shocked and a bit disgusted. I thought it was very unprofessional, and even more so being in the food industry. I just felt it was worth my time to let you know that is the kind of management you have at one of your locations.

Village Inn Restaurants service, length of time to get order and missing items.

During our visit to Village Inn in St George Utah number 70075 7 we entered the restaurant and after waiting what we thought was an extended amount of time we're finally visited by our server, Violet. She took our order and I specifically asked her that we wanted it on two separate tickets. After a considerable amount of time and to apologies from Violet about the length of time it was taking to get our order to our table we finally received some of our order. I had requested a side of country gravy and had to remind her that the pancakes that came with my order has not arrived yet either. We were never visited by our server and asked if we needed any additional drinks or water. I had to ask one of the servers who was taking care of other guests if she would see what was going on with our order and bring us some more drinks. I asked to speak to the manager and after I spoke with him he asked me what I thought they could do to make things better. The question should have been, "lett me do this to help make things better for you tonight". Another observation . During our time at the restaurant we noticed the manager out on the floor occasionally but saw him only go to one table to check and see how they were being taken care of . He came by our table but never ask how our service was or our meal . After we had left the building and this was about 8:30 p.m. in the evening I noticed that the signs nor any of the perimeter lighting at the business were on. I went back in again and talked with the manager and ask if he knew that the lights were not on outside. The business looked like it was closed. After the type of service we received we felt like it was closed. I have been to numerous Village Inns all over Utah and other places and it's by far is the worst service I have ever received. I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone. The food is relatively good but the service is so bad that no matter how good the food is it doesn't make up for the lack of service.

Village Inn Restaurants our 3 egg omelettes:

On the October 22, 2018 at 11:29am at 4416 Dodge Street, Omaha NE, store # 110008. I ordered an Ham & Cheese Omelette, with extra crispy hash browns, another person ordered a mushroom and spinach omelette. I had to send back the hash browns because they were not crispy, the 2 omelettes were over cooked another words light browning on the whole omelette. I don't not want to send it back because we were in not so slight of hurry but enough we couldn't wait for another omelette. I wanted to bring this your attention, we have worked in restaurant business for most of our lives. So we know what goes on when you send your food back to much. Our ages range form 60 to 65.

Village Inn Restaurants complete disregaurd for costumers

On 10.10.18 at approximately 600 pm, I waited to be seated. In the Logan, Utah Village inn. I am a single father with limited means. Because the children like going out once and a while we choose Village inn Logan, Utah. It was the first time I had been there in 3 years. I'm a counselor who has worked with the community for several years. So I (46) and my son (11) and (5) year old daughter waited over 20 minutes. We where the only family seated.

I have never made a complaint until now. This Wednesday was very slow. Few customers in the entire restaurant. After 20 minutes of staff walking past my family, saying nothing. A couple walked through the door with complete disregaurd for my family. they seated the couple behind us walking off without any awareness we had been sitting there waiting.

I was floored, I'm a counselor for the state of Utah. A patient man who's family waited w was ignored while I and my son both waiting at the desk standing with no one to sit us. Then this couple walk straight in to be seated.

How did this happened? Well general unconcern, slow paced and burned out employees with out a care in the world browsed by completely inattentive, unconcerned and w/o awareness of the situation. The foundation of business is quality service, well unfortunately in my honest and humble opinion you could have gotten better service at 7-11. I left so completley astonished that a business has anyone going in there. I called the management asked her how her Regional representatives would feel if I reported this?

Of course she's sorry, sorry isn't enough in working with people myself for 17 years. I know human behavior, this horrible circumstance, is merely a symptom of a much bigger problem.

I am a well known person who prides myself in helping this community. And I know hundreds of wonderful people here in this area. I told her after that complete and total disregaurd for me and my children. My recommendation would be to never to go to such an establishment.

In 46 years the worst I have ever witnessed. Your staff and management could cost you a business. Have someone check into this I mean for the sake of the people who do work there, who might care. Make a urgent and helpful change to customer service.

Village Inn Restaurants discrimination

ok so my car was broke down and they were fixing it so i had two bags with me . so im hungry so i go to the village inn on 48 st by globeville i ve been going to village inn for a number of years my friend mark lives in village inn hes a painter and works nights in grand junction co we know all the waitresses manger any one who works there we know. we spend alot of money in that place. just to lt you know . anyway in denver 48 street i walk in to get a table i say table for one . so the guy there starts saying well alot time your type come in and dont buy anything . so i ask him what type is that? he was talking about homeless people i think. he like you know what type . do you have any money? all the years well in all my life ive never been asked if i had money going into a place to eat. i dont know if thats the normal way you do things when people that look homeless come in. i know this he didnt ask anyone else if they had money.so even after that i was very hungry i was going to let it go he keep going on like he didnt ant me there so finally i ask him why he was being this way to me but not no body else. so he say if you dont like leave . so being really hungry i say im not leaving im going to eat. he starts saying hes calling the cops and i have to go. so to be honest at this point i cussed him out . im a pretty calm person normal but theres only so much a person can put up with . i cussed him they i left thats as far as it went . if the cops came i dont know. if village inn is going to stereotype people and discriminate against them just because they think there homeless thats pretty messed up. if it was a black person youd take that very serious .the fact is im not even homeless. who is this guy to judge every person who comes in and decide this person can come in this one cant.if you dont make this right . one you will lose customer . i will be telling others about this so i know hundreds of people who go to village inn some of them might go to denny or i hop i know to a multi billion dollar corporation five ten people even hundred isnt much but you should care more about people and not so much about the money. also if there is a legal way i can sue i will. so think it over and next time dont be so judge mental get staff in there who care and arent just there for a pay check if you got people who are angry get rid of them thats all my name billy

Village Inn Restaurants appearance of the restaurant and barely acceptable food

Oct. 1 I breakfasted at the VI at 5012 S Power Rd. Mesa Az. unbussed tables everywhere. Including the tables to my left which remained unbussed during the entire time that I was there. Excellent service from our server - Ranel. By herself she could not do everything. The manager cleared a few of the tables. Apparently the tables beside me were just too big a task for him. THEN he leaves the restaurant, gets into his car, and is gone...……….

Food - barely average. Eggs benedict with a very poor grade of ham. Very cheap hollandaise sauce. Too much msg/salt.

IHOP here I come.

Village Inn Restaurants overall service

Yesterday my boyfriend I was at the village inn in Omaha, ne at 6607n72nd St we were seated by a gentleman who was polite. Our waitress on the other hand not so polite she asked what she could get us I said water for the two of us so then she brought us our water and before we could even place our order she walks off and stands over by some counter for awhile didn't come take our order but went to another table before she even came and took our order. So we gave our order to her she had a bad attitude with us and she really had a bad attitude when we asked for it to go and since she didn't want to bring us our order the manager brought it to us but he witnessed her attitude and did nothing or say anything to her didn't even appoligizes to us for her behavior. We will definitely not be going back to that village inn ever again such rude staff and manager very dis satisfied with how we were treated and the service we got.

Village Inn Restaurants manger

Paula, the general manager of both village inns is very vile. She treats her employees like dogs and makes us feel horrible and cry regularly. She treats anyone how she wants because she always gets away with it. She makes up lies and bad mouths employees to other employees which is not professional, and why I chose to quit after being there a year. Everyone is too scared to tell anybody but I am not. I am also a minor and work 9 hour days without a break which I believe is illegal and I also have an autoimmune disease which she was not sensitive to. I have absolutely disgusted by my treatment and witnessed other people being verbally abused. This has to stop.

Village Inn Restaurants no staff support, mens bathroom urinal stinks

It has been 3 Friday mornings in a row, that the waitress has been alone and running her behind off to trying and keep up. I was there at 7:10 today and waitress was overloaded with patrons needing service. She had to take care of it all with out a hostess to help. We did get our order in and served. The men's urinal has a stench of pee because it does not flush properly. Their needs to be some changes soon or your business will suffer from this neglect. Maybe a camera recording system would help show you when lag times are and where help is needed. Maybe a split hourly system of a part time hourly help would work say maybe work 3 or 4 hours during busy times. Things need to change for the better.

Village Inn Restaurants store at 28th & harvard in tulsa, ok

But I am only complaining about a particular store as I don't know that any other store does this, but my friends and I sometimes go to the free pie night, we are social people and don't always have time to get together and here of late not much at all, we are working opposite schedules and we made plans to meet at a different Village Inn than usual because it was close to my home, close her my friends job and my other friend didn't have to work the next day so it didn't matter to him how far he had to drive, cause it was causing me to get to bed too late, but we were meeting at the Village inn in Tulsa, OK at 2745 S Harvard Ave. and it was getting late, we had all eaten, we were only meeting for the pie. My friend was not having anything but water, she is broken, Bren...and I were just going to have pie, but I was kind of sick to my stomach, so I ordered Ice cream and asked for my pie in a to go box, and Bren ordered pie and Ice cream, which we have done before without an issue, which it does say with ANY purchase on all the printed materials...even online, but I think it was the manager who came to the table and told us that policy had changed and we could no longer do that without ordering something like a drink. So we just cancelled our order completely. While sitting there drinking our waters...and visiting...we called the other village inn...they had not heard of any policy change. No offense, but we felt very slighted and discriminated against...and won't be back at least not to that one.
