VideoBlocks subscription

Videoblocks renewed my subscription this year without my consent, without asking anything, no mail, no phone call, nothing.
I didn't want to renew my smembership, the content is very poor and all the good downloads are not included in the subscription. i was very surprised to see that they renewed it .
There is no option to end the automatic renewal,
i got no mail to confirm my renewal, they just charged my credit card.
i asked for a refund, still waiting for an answer.

VideoBlocks one year subscription and automatic renewal without consent

The main point of my complaint is about the commercial practices of this company. I'm French. Under French law (which applies on any website operating on French territory and taking French money) you have to give your consent if a company wants to renew your contract (the website has to ask for your digital signature). I never gave any consent to renew my subsciption. I even canceled renewals on the website, but it seems that they still take your money from your account. This morning I saw that this company took $100 on my bank account without my consent when in fact I don't use this service since more than 6 months.

Under French law (which applies in my case), I have 14 days to ask for a refund in case of renewal and the company is obliged to refund any person asking for it (if you don't use the service after the renewal, which I never did). I've asked for a complete refund. I'm now waiting for an answer but I'm still waiting.

I'm considering to take legal actions in France and in the US through my lawyer, no matter what the price will be. I hate deceptive marketing and robbery.

VideoBlocks charged before my free trial ended

Hello

I was charged before my free trial ended.
I have now payed exactly :
$99 for videoblocks
$99 for audioblocks
$198 for graphicstock

They didnt even explain that each one had to be a separate payment this is the worst company ever!

this is unveliebable. I counted the days and hours of when my trial started and it charged automatically before the trial ended!

I really need to get a refund on this as the trial said it ended on August 7. And it ended before that.

VideoBlocks Unethical behaviour !! Watch out!

I was misguided into thinking I could download clips without restriction (except for the 4K footage) by paying $99 for a years membership! They DO NOT tell you in their "please, don't leave us" pop ups that you only get to download clips with very poor content. The other footage is to be payed (with a so called "discount). I demanded instant refund to my credit card through their support mail. I will get back here and i will post the reply they will give me, if any... In any case, I will not settle for this. I can see here, I'm not the only victim. I will also post this in Dutch, my native language. So WATCH OUT, they will LURE you with a 7 day download for free action. DO NOT do this.

Opgelet met dit bedrijf! Zij maken gebruik van oneerlijke praktijken om u te lokken. Voor je het weet, laat je je vangen aan hun leugens. Zij lieten blijken dat je voor een lidmaatschap van een jaar ($99) zoveel kan downoaden als je maar wil. Ze verzwijgen echter in hun "verlaat ons niet"-pop ups dat je voor die clips ook nog es dient te betalen (en niet weinig!) per clip dat je download, met een "zogezegde" korting. Ik heb mijn geld onmiddellijk terug geëist via mail. Ik zal hier het vervolg posten. Laat u niet lokken door hun -7 dagen gratis- downloaden truuken. Ze maken gebruik van oneerlijke praktijken! Wordt vervolgd...

Information about our libraries and what's included with subscriptions is available on the main page of our site, our FAQ, our sign-up pages, and also right after signing up. The Members-Only Library is where subscribers can take advantage of unlimited HD downloads and the Marketplace is where members get a 40% discount on third-party content offered for sale by contributors. We don't own that content, which is why it's not part of the member library.

VideoBlocks unauthorized credit card charges

Without any notice, I was charged with 79USD.
I subscribed for video blocks 7 day free trial and forgot to cancel the subscription and they have charged me $79 for the subscription. And their refund policy says that I am eligible for a refund if i have not downloaded anything. And I have not downloaded any videos from their website from the date of subscription. I downloaded one video during the free trial on the day I subscribed just to check whether it is working. The websites don't have any cancele the service contents I've been sent a lot of e-mail to this company but they still don't reply . I'm am a student so $79 is a heavy fine. Please help me

VideoBlocks This website blocked my account and started to charge for the trial

I have decided to try free trial of www.VideoBlocks.com. I didn’t pay for the trial and wanted to cancel it already, but the website didn’t recognise my email address and password. I tried to contact the company and asked to help me, because I didn’t want their services. But the company hasn’t reacted to my requests and started to take money for the trial. Please, help me to stop them.

same goes for mine. The entire site is blocked from access since the 2nd of my trial, and there are 3 more days till the trial end and $79 will be cheated for no reason.

Please, this is very unethical and do not use the term under maintenance and other technical reasons as there ARE technical people around here who knows how sites worked and all

This site is a FRAUD and THEY ARE THERE ONLY TO CHARGE PEOPLE AND LOOT THEIR MONEY. DONT EVER SUBSCRIBE TO IT. THEIR FREE TRIAL IS DECEPTIVE.

In response to your frustration over the lack of service you received, I again apologize and make no excuses for the way you were treated. Our company is very new, and we were completely unprepared and overwhelmed by the growth that we experienced.
To remedy this problem, I was hired full time to manage customer support to make sure that customers are taken care of promptly and politely. We recently added live chat to our website, and added additional employees to answer the phones. (It is also worth noting that we do not outsource this support--all of our employees are at our office in Virginia). Now that I am in charge, all phone calls and emails are answered within hours, if not immediately.
Finally, thank you for the comments on our free trial terms not being clear enough. We never meant to mislead anyone, and didn't realize there were any problems until we read your post and heard from other customers who were upset that they were not notified about the billing more clearly. We are working to make the free trial terms much more clear, and we have begun emailing users when they sign up so that they know what is going on and who to contact in the event of a problem.
Once again, I apologize for causing you frustration, and I hope that after we connect I can make you a happy customer. Or at least a happy former customer! Thanks ~ Nikki
