ViaSat Wildblue/Excede / no refund of month for termination

After having Wildblue/Excede satellite for over 2 1/2 years...we were moving. We called to terminate our service on 11/17 and we had paid for the full month on 11/1. After taking the equipment off the satellite per their request to return to them, and the modem to return to them...we tracked the UPS number to make sure they received it back...which they did...So we called about a refund for the balance of the month we didn't use. We were told they don't do any refunds, it's just too hard to keep track of, so it is in the customer agreement we signed...We didn't have a copy of this, so we asked to get one...why would we just give them our money...ViaSat said they couldn't mail us a copy or send us that copy via email...We asked to speak with a supervisor, numerous times...he too said it is in the customer agreement...we didn't even sign this, nor were we ever told this...We will never recommend them, nor use them again...this is robbery...it may not be a lot of money, but it is our money...we are so disappointed in the action of this company...just doesn't seem legal to just keep you money for a service that was legally cancelled...never again...

    Hello Jerry and Gloria, this is certainly not the way we handle things with our customers and I am sorry that was not shown in this situation.     Okay. Merry Christmas...if you see the above comment from Kimberly, well she actually got $49.99 refunded to my husband and I. The transaction is in our account this Christmas Morn...Thank you to Kimberly. We always say, if something is bad...we say it...if something is good...we say it. We say that is the way to handle customers...Thank You Kimberly...we are happy about this...Jerry and gloria Walls
