Burger King bugs and over cooked old food

While traveling, my daughter and I stopped at Burger King, in Willows, Calif. The fries we were given, were from the bottom of the pan, hard, dry, and even cracked. The chicken strips were shriveled, overcooked, and chewy. We took a picture of the food we were served, unfortunately, the photo gave the the items more credit than they were worth. Also, outside the door, many bugs were flying around the lights, which does happen. However, I think some sort of bug zapper, would have been a great assest. Might have kept the the bugs from flying into the dining room and on into the kitchen. I will never again stop at another Burger King. Just a bit toooooo gross for my family!

Burger King commercial regarding square pants and bootie

How dare Burger King market commercials primarily to children showing graphic images of women with their butts along with the song takeoff, of "I like big butts...

Another one that is just a objectionable is the parody of Star Trek, where Burger King is pulling one of the "Kling-ons" nipples.

Who is making and passing on these commercials, is there no innocence anymore. Who do you thing you are marketing to? I don't have any grandchildren and I am not interested in buying from Burger King!

Burger King advertising

Burger King's advertising has crossed the line of decentcy. It is extremely inappropriate for children. Referring to "bootie" and "nipples" and other such things is in such bad taste that I consider myself a former customer. Burger King has lost my business forever. I just read that Burger King was removing their commercial and I was ecstactic because the Square Butt commercial is nothing more that trash. I was totally disappointed however to find that they were removing a commercial that offended someone from another country!

So, their Porn is going to stay as long as it isn't politically incorrect or as long as it does not offend someone from a foreign nation.

My grandson was off of school today and we took him and friends out for the day. The high point of my day was when I told one of the friends, as we passed a Burger King, "no, we don't buy food from them." The seven-year old said "Oh, the Square Butt commercial?"

We will gladly continue to NOT patronize any Burger King and we will continue to request that friends and family do the same.

Burger King has lost another customer. Their use of sexuality in their latest round of commercial is totally absurd. I don't know who the head of advertising is now but they need to be FIRED. You think you are capturing attention by all these controverial advertising - I'm sure with the thinking that controversial advertising is better than none. You are wrong. Between "i like square butts" and the latest nipple twisting "kingons" you've done nothing but show you lack of morals and your desperate attempts to compete with other fast food restaurants. Normally I am fairly quiet when it comes to others choices - but you have gone over the line. Trust me when I say I will be doing everything within my power to have your restaurants boycotted in the Charlottesville area.

i also am a FORMER customer! i cant beleive a BURGER resturant would cater to the PERVERTS in this country and not the american family. What exactly is you advertising dept trying to do? How dare you try to influence small children in such a sexual manner! Sponge bob was really horrible but now your showing "whopper jr" in such a perverted manner! i will never go to burger king again!

Can't say I like the commercial, but kids don't see it as sexual. The ones I have polled (without putting thoughts into their heads) just think it's funny. It only seems to be adults who apply a sexual connotation to the commercial.

I think it's a dumb commercial, but I don't apply anything sexual to it either. We don't eat at burger king, probably won't either, but not because of commercials.

If you really dislike it you should also make a complaint at the Burger King official website, where I think they've received a lot of mail about this.

Burger King nasty employee & lousy manager

Burger king store # 2884 employee actually said to us: "ya'll take ur ### outta here !

On april 28, 2009 around 7pm, I took my wife and my 15 year old daughter to burger king located at 5025 stateline avenue in texarkana, tx (Store #2884) and what an insulting experience that was! It felt like they were doing a favour to us for dining there..

We were eating and a female employee started spraying and cleaning tables around us. She was dragging alluminium chairs making such a loud and harsh noise and then throwing them on top of tables. It was really unbearable. I got an important call on my cell phone but could not hear anything due to the horrible noise. The girl looks at me and knws that I was on the phone but didn't care at all to even pause for a moment and just kept banging chairs! I even told her to quiet down a little and boy.. Oh.. Boy... , she got so mad at me and started mouthing off. She got down right nasty and said to us: " ya'll need to take ur ### outa here... "! My wife and my daughter were stunned! And that was not the worst part, the manager was standing behind the counter and was watching the whole incident and could not get her to stop yelling at us and talking to his customers like that. She even yelled at him! Any one with "customer service 101" skills would have fired such an unprofessional employee on the spot. Not only he could not stop her, he did not even apologize to us as we were leaving.
I told him that I was going to complain to customer service and I did. That too turned out to be another joke ! They said they will forward my complaint to the district manager but to-date, even after almost a month, I have not heard from anyone back regarding my complaint. They simply do not seen to give a damn !

They made a lifelong mc donald's patron out of me ! What a contrast in service between the two !

Not all customers are good customers. So why should you get good customer service. You go into a fast food restaurant and expect a minimum wage kid, girl, lady, (whatever the case maybe) and expect to be treated like kings and queens. Do you know her situation. Maybe she is making up for a Slacker of a Co-worker who didn't do their job before they left. Maybe they are pulling a double to make ends meet. How rude was it of you to be on your phone at dinner any way. No one in the restaurant (except maybe your wife) want to hear your phone conversation. BTW Customers are not Always right. MAYBE they have a sign " We have the right to refuse service. MAYBE you where an A-Hole who deserved to be booted out of the restaurant . There are 3 sides to every story / complaint -- Your side, her side and the truth. I also bet she had co-workers to back her up when she told her bosses you where an ###.

Burger King application/questionaire

I applied for a team member position at this location twice online. The following morning I received an email from the corporate office I believe and was recommended to apply for a management position at this paticular location and so I did. I contacted the manager later on that evening to inform him of my resume and application. He instructed me to resubmit an application on "jointeambk.com" by which i did for the third time. The following day, this very same manager contacted me and stated that i scored to high on the questionaire and that no one could possibly score in that fashion unless they were lying and he clearly stated that I was lying. He also mentioned that I scored an 87% and that I needed to score less than an 85%. I communicated to this manager that my previous background clearly states that my positions held were managerial and that is the only way I know to answer questions as such b/c I too have managed businesses and was successful at providing excellent customer service and my staff was more than productive due to their drive and ambition and for the simple fact of my leadership and motivational skills. I have a love for people and a desire for myself and them to be successful. I want it to be known that my integrity, intelligence, work ethic and expertise was insulted. I have no need to lie about myself and what I represent. I don't feel anyone should be spoken to in that fashion, nor do you call some one a liar especially one that could have been a potential employee and great asset to your team. I feel this should be addressed immediately, maybe some customer service training, hiring process training should be reviewed and implemented at this paticular location. I applied for a position that was offering $6.55 per hour and a 5hr day work week and I was willing to accept this position and do my best for myself, your company and for my children. The economy is terrible and work is difficult to obtain. Behavior as such from a "professional" should be an embarrassment to your firm, I felt embarrassment for you. Thank you. Betrina Whitfield. Don't you think $6.55 an hour is way less than the minimum wage and that being in a managerial position should offer more $$? I am a paralegal and make triple that. That is such a crappy amount to be paying anyone. I think the applicant that was being called a liar deserves wayyyy more than $6.55 an hour and I believe what you said about being called a liar. You don't deserve that!

Burger King poor service/overcharging

I stopped at Burger King this morning for breakfast. I ordered 6 "shots" at a price of $1.39 for 2. The gal rang up 2 shots and 4 shots. The 4 shots totaled $2.89. At 2 for $1.39, math tells me the total for 4 should be $2.78. When I inquired about the overcharge I was told "oh, thats just the way it rings up". I then told her, in that case, I wanted 3 sets of shots and the overcharge back. The gal handled it poorly, yelled to the gal in back that I wanted 11 cents back, she would have to come up and give it to me! I was the only one in the store at the time and the wait was long that I started looking at the receipt and found this overcharge.

What is Burger King doing, overcharging everyone this way?

Burger King disrespect by asst manager

This morning as every morning my husband and I went to breakfast at Burger King in Eufaula, Al. We were treated very rudely by the asst manager. Her name was Cornelis. We have no intentions of returning to this place. There was no excuse for her being rude and embarrassing my husband. I will tell my friends of the experience. With the economy the way it is you would think that people wou;ld be much kinder and proud to have a job. This person is not what I would call a good example of an employer. If it is this way in other places I would think that your buisness would drop off significantly. We do not intend to return to a Burger King.

Burger King numerous!

First of all I'm very rarely ever one to complain. Mostly because it takes too much time and more than likely nothing will will be done about it anyway. However, this time I am taking time to speak out. This incident occurred 5/12/09 at 9:25 PM . Burger King Store at 4525 NW 23rd, Oklahoma City, Okla. Store # 9532. My check # 8167 . Server # 00652/Tsosie. Store phone # [protected]. I'm providing all of this imformation because I'm hoping that changes are made at this location.

Drive thru. First of all the speaker was so loud that I had to roll up my window some to keep my ear from being blown out. So loud in fact that it was virtually impossible to understand the order taker. I tried to ask a question about my order and the lady started treating me like I was an idiot or something. I only asked because I couldn't understand her repeating my order back. I dismissed her behaviour because I felt sure that she didn't understand how loud she was on the speaker. I soon changed my mind when I got to the window and heard her say (to the next customer in line) "This lady did NOT just yell at me"! She was obviously being in an irrate and foul mood. She was acting very unproffesional. Showing everyone her bad attitude. My order had been packed and was sitting on the counter beside her, she took my $20.00 bill. ( The bill was somewhat wrinkled and had a tear in it. ) She tried several times to feed the bill through her bill scanner and couldn't get it to go. Meanwhile she's getting more frustrated because more people are pulling up to the order speaker and she's telling them to wait. After trying numerous times to get the bill to feed she went and got her manager. He told her to turn it off, wait, then turn it on and try again. She did this. It still didn't work. So she went and got him and he tried it. Wouldn't work, so he turned it off and on again, still wouldn't work. So he then took my 20.00 bill back to what I presume to be his office for a few minutes then finally came back out. He came all the way up to the window to me looked me straight in the face and told me that my 20.00 bill was a fake. I was mad. It was if he was saying "I'm holding this money till the cops come or he just wanted me to say "OH WELL, and just leave. I know this was untrue because I just got it from the bank at 6:20 and it was the only 20.00 bill that I got. I told him that this was BS. He gave in and admitted it. He said he was just kidding. Not Funny. Humiliated me. He handed the 20.00 back to the lady said it was fine, and she opened the drawer and made my change. She tried to slam her drawer shut and it broke. Instead of giving me my change, and my food, she proceeded to try to fix her drawer. She keep slamming it. It wouldn't shut. She then proceeded to take out all of the rolled coins thinking this was jamming it. Her manager came over and tried to fix it. All the while I just wanted my change and my food which at this point had been sitting there on the counter for almost 15 minutes. I didn't find any of my Burger King experience " ANYWAY I WANTED IT'. I drove four miles to get there. My fries were stone cold before I got off of the property. I was too mad to eat cold food and too mad to go back. I hope Burger King does look into this. Never been one to complain... Regards, Very unhappy customer, David Waters

David you say you are not A complainer most complainers do not realize they are habitual complainers if you were so mad you could not try to resolve this problem some of the fault was yours. I worked at this store .Some customers are rude and unreasonable do you fall in this catagory?

Burger King big butts commercial

I am with the rest of you about the new commercial for the kids meal at burger king. I dont know what they were thinking, did they really think that parents were going to run out to there establishment after seeing the commercial and get there kids a meal there? You would have to be an idiot. I hope they are losing so much business from this, I know that I am telling everyone I know and I do know a lot of people and I tell people I dont know. Are they trying to get little children to think of women as sex objects now? Even my 10 year old niece said it would have been funny if they has a bunch of sponge bobs with square butts. Now how is that for marketing? They should get kids to do there marketing instead of the idiots they are paying now, unless the marketers are trying to put them out of business, or they are a bunch of dirty old men or purverts. And nickelodon should be ashamed of themselves to, they are allowing this with there character sponge bob, what are they thinking. I will not be going to there establishment and I had to explain this to my 7 year old daughter as best I could.

I dont know what you other fellow parents are thinking by letting your kid watch spongbob square pants, you must be stupid. He teaches nothing but bad manners and rudeness, which explains why most kids act that way, either that or piss poor parenting. Not that I am saying that Sheila's daughter is one of those kids, I am just saying that most parents out there have lost the good old fassioned values and manners and now let there kids get away with ### that well frankly we would have gotten our butts spanked for growing up.

Burger King employee didnt wash hands after tossing off

i went into the bathroom at burger king in copperas cove texas i accidently went into a stall with an employee in it he was tossing off

i stepped back apoligised for barging in (the stall wasnt locked) waited for another to open up (i wasnt gonna use the tiolet this guy was using)

then this guy leaves the stall without washing his hands minutes later i see him on the grill cooking this is absolutly disgusting

i for 1 will never eat there again and i encourage no one else to ever eat there

Burger King naste manager help was fighting

Walked into burgerking to get dinner, ordered my dinner n gave the lady I think it was the manager a twenty dollar bill. She made comments under her breath about getting a bill to large. She kept going on n on about people giving large bills for a 6 dollar meal. I began to feel very uncomfortable an ask the woman for my money back with that she then tried to make a joke out of it. With that she starts to complain about an employee that went on break an never came back! Then two employees start fighting with a customer at the drive in window. There was no way I could eat my dinner at this time which I still didnt get yet so I firmly ask for my money back an left the store! Is this the way we treat people today, I will never go to that b/k anymore!

My complaint is against the Burger King on E. Hillsborough Avenue between 30th and 22nd Streets. This is the most GHETTO burger king i've ever patronized. The girls have dreadlocks, which are okay, but they dont tie them back off the face. They wear hair weaves that are "unbe-weavable"! and the overall attitude of the staff there is so non chalant and unprofessional. I go three miles out of my way whenever I want to eat Burger King. I'd just as happily drive 50 miles out of my way to keep from going to this particular Burger King. Is there anyone in Corporate reading these complaints?

Burger King i see everyone one complain about burger king...

I just wanted to open up a whole new look on this stupid rant about the new Burger King ad about Spongebob... Everyone thinks its crude and that they are offended by it. Well I think compared to the Viagra and other ED drug commericals the BK ad is nothing to get offended about. I rather see square fake butts than have to listen to men complain they can't screw their wife of girlfriend anymore. BK ads will be short lived as for ED ads, they will be around as long as there are floppy men who need them. I don't think that men should suffer with ED but keep it off TV and between you and your Doctor.

All of the Viagra and Cialis commercials have got to go! They are DISGUSTING AND ANNOYING! Whatever 2 people do with each other should be kept to themselves! Not the world--or whoever has to watch those disgusting commericials! The mute button helps! I tried to find someplace to write and complain how SAD they are! But unfortunatey I couldn't find any place else. I'm glad I found this site!

Not only do they complain about the inablility to screw, they SING about it! Not half as bad as all the alcohol commercials you see. People ### and raise hell with the tobacco companies because they thought they were marketing to children. Burger King square butt ad campaign an afront!

I have never seen a TV ad just kick off so in-your-face, "I like square butts!..." with the camera in tight, the audio up loud, and dancers shaking their ###, right after whatever good or sensitive TV show or movie segment we may have just been watching. What an ugly assault to the eyes, good sense and morals! Not just for my children but for myself and my wife. It's nearly or absolutely the most disgusting TV commercial I've ever seen! The mute button isn't enough. I switch TV channels immediately it's audio-visual appeal is so irritating. TV stations must love that.

Your stupid "Burger King" icon mimicking the hip hop rapper lowers, not elevates, his already stupid iconic status. Perhaps Burger King has changed their entire target audience to the hip hop set. Good luck with that. Good bye, BK. You are boycotted forever by my family of 8. You drove our choice allright. How stupid can your marketers get?

It's promoting SpongeBob SquarePants toys. Maybe if you weren't so busy sucking godcock you would be a smarter person. Burger King booty commercial

Who in the world thought it would be a good idea to advertise a kid's meal by focusing on "booty"? For heaven's sake, you're targeting young children! This commercial goes far beyond inappropriate. Don't we have a difficult enough time teaching our children to respect others without Burger King literally throwing booty in their faces? I will never do business with Burger King again as long as you continue this unwholesome advertising. I'm sure that many, many others feel the same way. I hope that you will see this commercial for what it really is and remove it from your campaign.

I live in FLorida, and i already hate this state cause of the wacky indian weather, the floridiots who care more about the empolyees than the actual customer, (they dont do that up north), but anyways I was at Burger King and everyone looked like they were High, and not to mention when making the food no one [censored] gloves. So this Swine flu thing isin't realy a shock when people don't even wear gloves when making food.

Burger King obsene commercial

I will never ever ever buy from Burger King again after seeing the commercial I saw last night, and then just a few minutes ago! I cannot believe they would use "Square Butts" to try and sell a kids meal? and what does that have to do with Spongebob? This is not the first time Burger King has had innapropriate commerical ads... there was one with Paris hilton in a tiny bathing suit and stiletos eating a whopper. Also many other fast food companies have been using obsene advertisements to sell food...one has absolutely nothing to do with the other. What type of message are you guys trying to send?

Burger King lack of concern for order

Ordered a Double Whopper Combo, go large, extra onions and pickles. Was ready to pick up my order and the slaesperson looked at my order and noticed it was a single whopper instead of what I ordered and paid for. When ashe told the cook, it was like oh well thats not what the screen stated, but my receipt stated it was a double. It appears they werent concerned about cheating the customer. No apoplogies or even an offer for a free pop. Looks like they really dont care about the customer. Probably last time I ever go to Burger King on Washington Street in Grand Forks.

all fast food places havea sign that says if you are asked to pay a different amount than what is shown on your receipt to please call 1-88-blahblahb

take a drive through the drive thru after they are closed, the sign is usually on the driveup window.

but, dont bother if youve already thrown your receipt away.

Send and E-mail or send a letter to Burger King's corporate headquaters.
Bottomline, corporations only listen to and watch their pocketbooks.
If you feel strongly about your opinion you've got to rally others who have the same beliefs
and express them to the corporate headquaters.

Burger King inappropriate advertising for children

Are you kidding me?

Who comes up with your ad ideas?

The latest sponge bob ad with the inapropriate sexual inference, is for children who would like a child's meal! It would be more appropriate as an ad for hooters!

I have taken my grandchildren to burgerking for the last time, and I will no longer be eating there either, which is a problem for me, as I am a vegetarian, and burgerking is the only fast food chain to offer a "veggie" burger! Oh well - I will survive!

Burger King rude/not correct

i went through the drive threw for the .99 cent kids meal like i have done before, and they did not discount me so i had to ask arent the kids meals .99 he said yes then took off 1.06 when i had two kids meals on there, so again i had to ask about this, i said i have 2 kids meals then he said you only get one .99 kids meal per regular priced value meal and i said well you didnt do that last time and some jerk employee in the back yells ''yes we did" like i was lying or something, i just then left to go to another burger king and ordered the same thing an had no problems i got 2 kids meals for .99 with the purchase of my value meal. it just goes to show that burger king will make up there own rules when they want. this was the omaha nebraska 108 Q st. location

DCgirl it has been pointed out tons of times that the deal is one kids meal per one adults meal. The OP did not know the policy and not only that she blamed her abusing her children due to the policy. Also her eleven year old son admitted the mother was lying and she made another excuse to beat him.

Many times the individual store owner makes his own policies. I don't agree with this because if Burger King is advertising something, then all the franchises need to honor it. For instance, there are some franchises that charge more for certain items on the menu than others. I don't like this and therefore I don't use the particular franchises in question. Complain to the franchise owner and to Burger King corporate headquarters. The franchise owner will not want to lose business (especially if many people complain and don't eat there anymore) and the corporate headquarters will not want to have bad press.

Also there is not way this person is old enough to drive let alone a parent. Then again people can have children at 12. However I think this letter was just originally written as a school assignment or something, then later the author turned it into a joke with the comments about it making her so angry that she beat the crap out of their children and broke their favorite toys. Only someone who is in middle school would use the arguement you gave in the last time. No self respecting adult would be like this knowing last time they did a favor. If that is the case she is a very poor role model for her children for not being thankful for the favor and throwing a temper tantrum(as she said by one of her responses, because she did not get her way.

She is verbally abusive in this letter as well. I just saw her post about beating her children, she probably. However whatever the case may be it WAS HER who posted, and she should be ashamed to even joke about abusing her children. Child abuse is a serious matter, not a joke, and if she really was a parent she would not be making a joke on this. Shame on tmh.

If she is a parent, I wonder does she call her children stupid, and swear at them. If this letter was for real was she as rude to the BK employees as she is to everyone who posted on her letter, and I am not dumb, it is obviously that "grandpa" character is the same person. They both stopped posting the same day. Either way this person is teaching her children to be rude, and disrespectful, which is a poor lesson to teach them. She has a two year old and is acting like one herself, I wonder if she uses profanity in front of her children. Hopefully the father gets those kids(if this is even real) before it is too late.
