VGA graded games - video game authority / Scam Artists

These Ebay scam artists got me! I bought a "sealed" nintendo (nes) game from them thinking it was preserved BY THEM since it was originally sold in stores. It turns out that they just buy sealed and resealed games from other people on Ebay and then sell them AGAIN on ebay, but this time it's in a clear acrylic case. Oh and almost double the price!!! These guys are slick. Let me tell you. By the way they market the games you would definitely think you're getting an authentic product, but they are just average joes passing themselves off as a larger company. These guys need to be stopped before they do more damage to the collectibles industry. I can't believe more people haven't complained. Speak up people! Stop letting them take advantage of you. There is no such thing as a Video Game Authority. If it existed it would be in the hands of someone like Gamespot. Not a rinky dink little shop in BFE Georgia. Read the FINE PRINT before you buy online people. VGA Graded games are a total scam and total rip off.

I agree with you. I've seen these guys in action. They are very fishy, and their business model just hikes the price up for everyone else. Anyone can freakin examine a game and stick a plastic case around it with a cheesy hologram label. These guys are a rip off. Video Game Authority, aka VGA Grader or whatever they call themselves is bad for the industry. People need to speak up and oust these scam artists!!!
