Vestiaire Collective Revoke faulty item return decision

I purchased a faulty item from Vestiaire Collective and upon receipt of the items the shoes were dirty and had pen marks on them that were not included in the listing. I emailed them on 11/06. "I purchased three items under [protected] and two of them are not as expected. The shoes are dirty/more worn than the description and the dress shows signs of fade on the colourblock area? I've ordered from Vestiaire a number of times and never had problems like this. Can you please let me know what my options are? The items are still in their packaging with the tags attached."
On the 21/06, after reviewing photos I sent them, they accepted my complaint for the trainers only and sent me a return receipt. "You should shortly receive a return voucher for the trainers reference 5442195."

I spent $50 sending the trainers back to Paris Headquarters and then was emailed by Vestiaire on the 5/07/2018 saying they WOULD NOT ACCEPT the return! "Following your request, our experts have carried out a second quality control check on order [protected] for the item Baskets en cuir ETRO [ref: 5442195], and have confirmed the below: Our Quality Control team have verified that your item matches the original product description made by the seller at the time of your purchase. For this reason, we are unfortunately unable to approve your return on this occasion."

This is unacceptable behaviour and I request action be taken to recoup my purchase funds.

Vestiaire Collective Fake moncler jacket sold

I was sold a fake Moncler Jacket for a 12 year old boy. It had a rubbery smell, very tiny furry hood, unlike the model should have and a MADE IN CHINA tags on the inside with a weird italian company name and address next to it and then Moncer written in. No authenticity tags, no cartoon on the side, size tags in a strange pace and size stated in cm instead of years as my authentic Moncler jackets do.

I contacted VC and they offered to take the coat back for a second inspection which also concluded that despite made in china tags, the coat is indeed Moncler. Impossible to reach them on the phone, impossible to get the money back.

All the pictures I took and sent to them, all the proof you can gather will not change a thing - I am convinced they have a deal worked out with a counterfeit factory somewhere and peddle their cheap stuff along with a few authentic things from here and there.

VC is refusing to reimburse me my money and is sending the fake coat back to me.

Vestiaire Collective Necklace i bought

I brought a beautiful Theo Fennell necklace, from a secondhand site called Vestaire Collective, I've worn it once and one of the stones have fallen out, this means I have been sold faulty goods and Customer Service thereare unprepared and will do nothing about it, who do I need to contact to get this returned and repaired? Surely this should not be allowed it is faulty!

My parcel has been incorrectly been sent to the wrong address. Please can you correct this. Vestiaire Collective 3 items I have posted out and gone missing

Item numbers 4940034 (Chanel necklace) posted on the 07/01/[protected] (Saint Laurent Boots) posted on the 16/01/18
5050510 (Loro Piana Jumper) posted on the 08/01/18 have all gone missing via Hermes shipping with the label you provided. I have sent receipts of the shipping confirmation along with photo ID and I received an email this morning stating you will open a dispute for the missing necklace and are refunding the buyers for the jumper and boots and the jumper and boots have also been removed from my account. Why not an open postal case for all 3 items? Why have they been removed from my account? Why has the buyers been refunded when its a 30 day policy? I called your London office to be shouted at by a female member of your team and said there was no manager to speak to. This is fraud deleting my items and not opening a case!

Vestiaire Collective Horrible service

Erm... I was promised that they would send my dress very soon. It's been one month, the dress is still there. I fell for their ads stating that they ship very fast and thought that maybe I would order something for an upcoming event. This event was held last Sunday, by the way. And I had to buy a different dress.
Now I don't need the one I ordered because everything in this world is appreciated when it happens on time. I tried to cancel, but they said it was impossible. Ok, when it arrives, I will return it just because I don't want to have anything from them no matter how expensive or beautiful it is. Their service sux and that explains a lot.

Vestiaire Collective Reference # 4069032

I've been selling on Vestiaire Collective for a few years now and recently sold an authentic CHANEL Patent Grand Shopper Tote reference # 4069032. My item was deemed counterfeit even after I'd sent the requested authenticity documents and receipts to prove that's it's indeed 100% Authentic. Any third party company will confirm my Chanel bag is authentic so it's insane that Vestiare Collective couldn't. Anyways, I requested my item to be return to me immediately. I made payment for the $12 for the return shipment on 9/28/17. It's now 11/3/17 and I'm still waiting. I've called and sent numerous of emails but keep getting the runaround. Today I called again because I was last told I would have my item back by the end of this week. It's the end of the week and of course nothing. A very rude associate name Tim handled my call today. Tim was being very condensing knowing I've been waiting over a month trying to get my item return to me as I have other buyers waiting to buy it. He had the nerve to hang up on me after telling me he didn't like the tone of my voice. Anyone in my position would be frustrated and I would expect Vestiare Collective to understand that but no, not Tim! Strangely Tim wanted to acted as if I was raising my voice or giving him attitude so he can warrant himself hanging up on me. I'm a very nice and positive person but of course frustrated from this situation. I did not give him attitude nor did I raise my voice. Tim is a classless associate that should not work in the customer service industry with his egotistic and mindless attitude. Wow!

Vestiaire Collective Don't use them!

Nothing positive can be said. To me, it's terrible that the received items are so different from those that are represented on the website. It's so weird. They pretend to be great, but what they send is horrendous.
It's completely their fault, but they didn't refund in full. They charged some hidden additional fees I had no idea about and went away.
I think it's a pure thievery. Shame on you, VC!

The Customer Services is just non existent there. They loose items that have been posted to them and later declare that you didn't sent. After arguing and proving through a lot of trouble that you have posted and they have received and signed for it - they just simply saying : ah, yes you are right. And nothing else. No apologies, nothing .
They are Forgetting to post accessories from items you buy, they ignore the fact that they promised the discount for item purchased beeing not as described. First they offer discount and later when you accept - they are just happily forget about it .
Cheaters, don't care about customers. Use EBay and Real Real, they are much better .

Vestiaire Collective Challenging to get back item they declared unauthentic

I sold and shipped to them an item of clothing from a luxury designer. They examined it and declared it not authentic and said I had to give them $13 to pay for the return shipping back me. I am in the United States. First I mailed them a check to their bank in the United States. Months later, it had not been deposited, and they said it wasn't received. Then I mailed them payment via PayPal (which they accept according to their website). That was rejected--they told me they don't accept payments for returns via PayPal. They kept giving me their routing, account and Swift numbers for a wire transfer. A wire transfer costs $30. Why would I pay $43 for an item they said isn't authentic. I am now attempting to pay them electronically. Who knows if it will go through or be accepted. I think they are unfriendly to users in the United States.

Vestiaire Collective Vintage clothing

Do not buy from this website. There is zero customer service which is very dangerous when you are purchasing second hand goods. They never respond to your emails and the phone numbers do not work. They are a terrible terrible company. I strongly urge you do not use this website.

You will end up wasting your money. You will find dozens of stimuli complaints online.

Vestiaire Collective Condition of item purchased is not acceptable

I have purchased shoes marked as a " very good condition" got a pair fair condition shoes with huge scuffs on heels
Ref : 3819401 .
So very disappointed. Have purchased a pair of Louis Vuitton heels listed by Vestiaire Collective Concierge Service as " Very good condition".
Have received heels with huge scuffs on heels in some parts the leather is missing! How shocking.

Upon receiving the parcel I have written an email to VC supplied photos of these heels asking to take these shoes back and issue me with a refund.
Nobody got back to me I kept sending emails until today when I have received an email from someone called Ghizlène who has stated they don't accept returns and I can relist these shoes if I wish - a small handling fee will be deducted from the final sale. ( That means they will be released as very good condition while in fact the condition is poor, worned out soles, scuffs and missing leather on heels).

I have purchased an item marked by VC Condition : Very good condition.( A second-hand pair of shoes in very good condition have barely been worn and very well looked after.)

What I have got is a pair of heels which correspond to a Fair condition:
Huge scuffs on heels and missing leather on heels, worned out soles.

Shame on your Vestiaire Collectives we pay 30% commission fee for you to check all items properly- in this case you have not done it and now you refuse to admit your mistake and takes these worned out shoes

Vestiaire Collective Cheater company

They sent me wrong bag and they refused to fix that. I contacted VestiaireCollective many times and asked them to send me my bag, but they claimed that was no longer their responsibility. I also would like to mention that they sent me one of the cheapest bags and they one I ordered cost more.
They were not nice, their customer service did not care about anything, so I decided to seek help elsewhere.
I'm glad I paid via PayPal and thank to them I got my money back.
I will not buy from VestiaireCollective again and do not recommend them to anyone. Please read the reviews!

Vestiaire Collective Mini celine luggage tote

In Feb of 2017 I was sold a fake $3000 Mini Celine Luggage Tote. Their authentication service is a joke as the bag was authenticated by them twice! Thank God I used Pay Pal so after two months I was able to get a refund. FYI: They never even responded to me directly or Pay Pal so I can't imagine what would happen if I purchased directly. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THEM! (Ref# [protected])

And to make matters worse the person that sold me the fake bag has now listed more items!

Vestiaire Collective Christian louboutin shoes

Hi there,

I have bought a pair of Christian Louboutin from Vestiaire Collecttive and received it last Monday (3 days ago).The shoes look very good made, however looking at the signature inside the shoes and on the soles, I can clearly say that those shoes are fake.The inside signature is just a golden block and letters are not clear and defined.Letters in the red soles signature are not as deep as are supposed to be.Two easy flaws to be spotted and I don't understand how V.C. Team is not able to spot them during the quality control .

I would like to get an aswer from you and get this issue fixed ASAP thanks

Vestiaire Collective Stay away - merchandise 'disappears' at the nyc office

Sold a pair of expensive CELINE earrings on this website. They provided me with FEDEX shipping label to mail the earrings to their New York office. I did so right away. Today I received an email from them stating the earrings are not inside the parcel. Quite an interesting tale, considering I personally packed them and sealed the box. Very curious how they are planning to resolve this. Needless to say I will be closing my account right away; in the meantime just praying I will get my money back. Stay away!

Vestiaire Collective Fake moncler jacket sold on vc and no customer service

Sold fake moncler jacket
Received the jacket, first of all, the condition does not match what seller said "worn twice", instead the jacket came full of strong perfume and collar was dirty, as well as the zips discoloured.
Also, the jacket does not look like aughentic
I since then contact an individual who runs a site to help people authenticate counterfeited moncler jacket, called "moncer expert" and was confirmed this is not an authentic moncler jacket, also advise me the signs to identify counterfeited moncler
This jacket's generic zippers with no brand name are never used by moncler, the logo is not a match either, the lettering on the tag with model name is not even close to authentic.
Most importantly, this moncler jacket does not have authentic code, / qr tag which is a must have for very piece of moncler jacket, plus the cartoon picture inside the jacket is too dark, and there are many poor spelling mistakes too, such as "broadway" "new york" were spelled as "boradway" "new tork".
However, such jacket managed to pass the quality control, I had contact vc customer service, they asked me to return the jacket, the jacket is now with vc for 4 days without any progress.
I want to ask vc first of all, how possible such jacket can pass your "in house expert" quality control and confirm compliant, someone does not do their job properly for sure, "authenticity guarantee"— is this not suppose to be the whole point buying from vc?
Also, why it takes so long to tell this is a counterfeited item with so many signs easily to tell!
I will not leave it like this and lose my £500, I need my money back and an explanation.
I have provide the purchase invoice to trustpilot to approve I am your customer vc, by denying I am not your customer is not the right way to resolve the issue!
Very bad experience!

Update: I had now received the offcial confirmtation from moncler.com that the jacket is indeed not aunthentic moncler jacket. Now let us see what is the result of vc 2nd inspection !I am still waiting since 6th dec! Hi

Vestiaire Collective They damaged my chinchilla jacket

I sold a jacket on VC and the company provided me with a shipping label to ship the item to them. They guarantee that quality control would be completed in 3 days. Well 4 days went by and I didn't have an update so I contacted them. And then day 5 came with no response so I called them. Shortly after I enquirer about my about I received and email saying that my item was not compliant and there was a link attached. When I clicked on the link it said my jacket was not accepted due to holes and it showed a picture that looked like my jacket had been cut! I contacted customer service immediately requesting to speak with a supervisor because my jacket was shipped to them in perfect condition. This has been going on for days now. I have yet to speak to management and the company has not offered a resolution for my jacket. I asked for them not to ship my jacket back to me damaged. I asked for it to be repaired or to be compensated for damages. Instead all the company's customer service has told me is what the company can't do. I am outraged and I'm looking to file a legal complaint for the damage done to me property. The also shipped my jacket back to me stuffed in a small box and plastic bag that you would put shoes in. I shipped the jacked in a garment bag and large box.

Vestiaire Collective Customer service at new york/usa is horrible

This is about the worst selling site I have dealt with. My complaint has nothing to do with those who post and sell through site. The complaint is with the New York Office. I complained last year regarding this office and the customer service. The way the site works is that sellers or buyers that are either buying or selling to someone in the USA have to send their items to the New York office to be checked for Authenticity. I believe that their are issues at New York Vestiaire Office. They should investigate the office to find out if workers are shipping exactly what sellers are sending in. i sold something last year and had to send to the quality control NY office and I had to complain against a girl at the office. Receiving payment is ridiculouse. Would take over a month. I just made a purchase of a "READY TO SHIP" item. Supposedly that means ships within 24 hours of placing order. Because it already went through the quality check. NOT THE CASE. I STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED MY CONFIRMATION AND I PHONED CUSTOMER SERVICE THIS MORNING THE GUY SAID HE WOUKD GET BACK TO ME TODAY WITH A RESPONSE. HE DIDNT GET BACK TO ME. SO I PHONED BACK AND HE SAID THE "NEW YORK" office is still looking into it. The guy who owns site name Sebastian should really investigate what is going on at that New York office because the majority of the complaints are stemming from that office and the company will develop a bad reputation due to the complaints stemming from that New York Office. They should do some a Test shipments to see if what the seller sends is actually what the New York office is shipping out... or if that New York office is doing a bait and switch and shipping out a fake item instead and taking the legit item. After this purchase I will never purchase from the Vestiarecollective site again. Too many suspicious incidents stemming from that office.
