Are Self Appointed Nominee’s. Do not hesitate in commencing your action for their violation of your rights. Sue them in Federal Court; do not spend your time running around dealing with Vericrest Financial, or Caliber Home Loans, Inc. Intentional, willful, malicious, action against. You are dealing with HIGH-PROFILE CROOKS, and experience BANDITS. Finally, for the record, "SUE" the Principal, the Agents, their Affiliates, their Business Counterparts, their Corporate Partners, Jointly and Severely, each and every one in their, natural personal capacities. Caliper is the worst! They adjusted my mortgage with no notice, then held my payments and charged a late fee, then lied about reversing the late fee and applying it to the escrow shortage, then adjusted my mortgage again! Twice in 1 year, and the game began again. I have had tons of trouble getting a hold of someone, then apparently they just lie to get me off the phone. I am at my wits end dealing with this ridiculous mortgage company. I don't feel it is fair, as I had no say in the selling of my mortgage from Chase, which they sold to avoid giving me a mortgage adjustment during the housing crises, as I was prime candidate for an adjustment, being a single mom who had lost her job. Instead they sold it to Caliper, who wouldn't even talk about a mortgage adjustment. I want my money back!

I can certainly understand your frustration with Vericrest Financial or Caliber Home Loans (they are one in the same) as I have had much involvement with them in restructuring debt. In answer to your issue @StressOutMom I would draft a letter with all the necessary supporting documentation to substantiate your claim and send it to Chase but copy it to Caliber Home Loans (state that you are coping each party in the letter). They have to respond to your inquiry (it's called a qualified written request) within 5 days from your correspondence with how you rectify the issue. If they fail to respond, contact the CFPB and explain that your rights have been violated!

I have been having a problem with them since my loan was transferred from Chase. Apparently, they took a payment I process with them and reversed it. According to Caliber Home Loans, it was to pay a balance due to Chase. I called Chase and was told nothing was owed to them and they would not accept 3rd party payments. If in fact I had an outstanding balance they would of contacted me themselves. Unfortunately, I am having a hard time trying to find out where that payment went. Someone needs to get seriously involved investigating this company.
Caliber / Vericrest are scams we have found out now there are new magical fees that put our account in a large pass due balance we need lawyer to sue the ### also they are a rip off to the hard working people.The BBB needs to go and investigate this company, they should rate them an F.
