We moved in when the complex had been open for about 6 months, and there were no reviews available at that time. We got a great move in deal and the person who helped us was really nice. Paula was knowledgeable and always ready to help out with anything. Our water bill started going up in Oct 2009. By then, Paula was gone and the people in the office were now totally uncooperative. No one could explain why the bill was so high. I was told each apt had a meter and they were being read by the local MUD district, although no one could tell me what district or how to get a hold of them. I called the number on my bill, and was told that it was a submetered community and they basically bill us the prorated usuage provided to them by the management company. When I tried to get someone in the office to help me, I was ignored while they spoke to other people. Finally, I asked to speak to Lauren and was told she was busy. I could see her sitting in the office, so the receptionist went into the office and shut the blinds. I am tired of the runaround. I have paid up to 3 times my original water bill each month since then. Each month I am billed an outrageous amount of gallons (example: 7659) coming in at one price, and then the same amt of gallons going out at a different price. A lot of people have simply given up and moved out. I was told some people were getting discounts when they complained but everytime I got in the office, I get bad customer service and ugly looks. I am tired of paying anywhere from 1089 to almost 1200 to live here because of the water bill. The worst thing is that the office manager herself told me that they were not allowed to charge us over $50 in water at that complex. However, again, I have no responses to my complaints and no one has offered an explanation, much less a refund. The apartments went up pretty fast and there are a lot of cosmetics issues in my apartment. The also have a problem keeping the trash receptacle clean. They started using Valet Trash and that was nice, however on the days when Valet Trash doesn't come out to clean up the dumpster area, the trash can be seen piled up to the ceiling and spewing out of the door at times. When I called to ask if they could please run the compactor to get some of the trash picked up, I was told to just wait until Valet Trash came back. I guess Valet Trash would have to take care of it in order to get more trash in there.

    for the ;ast three months i have tried to get my water/waste water charges fixed, in october, November and Dicember my bill was for $98 dlls, the bills showed i had used 6680 gallons of water and the same for waste water the manerger never gave me a reason or information on them fixing the problem the only thing they did was to adjust the bill for half the price in october and for Nov and Dic $30 dlls per month. A couple of days ago they send me a copy of an e-mail from the contractor they hiered to send the charges to the renters and it showed that i have used 400-600 gallones of water and the same for waste water, this has become a very stressfull situation now more then befor being that i was lay off Dicember 31 they dont show much intres in fixing this or returning my over payment i was in the office the same day i recieved the copy waiting to be recieved for over one hour and was told i needed to make an appointment.

    I agree completely. The office staff is shady and they offer the worst custoer service i have ever seen. The trash is often piled tothe top of the receptacle area to the point that you can even take your trash in there. Oh and the are cheating people left and right on the water. I have spoken to several residents who have gotten Lauren Smith to adjust their bills. But they don't do it for everyone. I have been overcharged since last October too. This place is bad!
