I had an Ad from Clipper Magazine for $49.95 unlimited returns and vents for a company called Ventilation Purification, [protected]. The bill was over $400, additional mains, furnace motor cleaning and inspection and AC coils (?). A bit misleading on Advertisement. They not only left my house dirty and dusty, but damaged 8 return vents. I called them and they sent out 2 other service people, and they tried to fix the vents. However, the vents are still not fixed to the prior condition in which they were before they were here. I was told by the manager, Jason, that the only way to remove the vents was to pry them off, and that the vents were old - the house is 10 years old - so I was given justifications for damages. Again called and was told to get them a price for the vents. Jason told me that they would not cover the expense and hung up on me. This company is scamming people out of money, damaging property, leaving a mess and justifying their unprofessional behavior at the expense of the customer.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
Although the groupon does not mention that all main trunk lines are excluded, these guys worked their butts off for $41 so I added the trunk line for an additional $150. $191 is a bargain. They will try to up sell just as any good salesman will do; it is up to you to say NO to stuff you don't think you need. I would have felt like the crook if I let them do 2 hours of work for $41.
I used this Company also. They are a rip-off. They said they cleaned my Main Trunk line
and they didn't. I have pictures to support this. They are Rude, nasty and ignorant and will tell you anything to get you to pay top dollar for Duct Cleaning. Shawn and Tony were very polite but the owner is a complete jerk. Don't use this company. Live and learn I always say. Check out a company before you let them in your home.
Well for ur info lady i dnt kno them other than them coming over to my house and doing a great job! If they performed a service and u didnt pay go ahead and discuss it with the police u will go to jail smarty pants that is common sense. Take free advice from a lawyer ur very lucky. Like i said call sears see how much ur bill is. Try a stop payment with them ur bail will be about 2 grand. Have a nice day
You obviously know these people by the way you have commented. I did say no- I stopped payment and they never got a dime. I told them that if they want what the coupon says, I will pay it, but they have to contact me first and anymore after that, we can discuss it with the police. Never heard a word from them. Wonder why? Probably because they have been shut down before for this before and and they know what would happen.
i completly disagree with all of u. I had sears come to my house and tell me they would clean ten vents and every additonal vent was 35 dollars. I have 24 vents. They cleaned all of my vents and the vertical main for 40 bucks. Its called saying NO people give it a shot. And if u read the coupon u would see that additional services may cost extra. U wanna ### and complain about them call sears and see how happy u are with a 900 dollar cleaning bill.
I agree with you 100%. I had a coupon for $39 for unlimited vents and returns and whole house. Then ended up with a bill that was $519, but only after they were in the middle of it. What was I to say? Then they played the good cop/ bad cop thing and one 'secretly' told me that he discovered another vent which would be another $150. Said he would take care of it without the other guy knowing if I slipped him $50 cash. I told him I don't have $50 cash, he then said "Do you have any cash?" Like I was going to answer that. Then I told him I could give him a check and he said he has no account to cash it but that he could drive me to an ATM. I said no, then later he gave me sob stories about his 2 kids and their medical problems and asked me 2 other times if I have come up with a solution for that. He asked 2 more times to drive me to the ATM. I am so thankful that my 3 kids were home that day due to a snow day. I think they had something else in mind. I hate to think of what could have happened if I was there alone. When they left, they came back and said they forgot something in the basement- scared me to death. Then later I saw them drive past my house in the van. Do not trust these people. I asked for coupon back so I could take a picture of it to question the owner and they said they threw it away. I asked if it was in my trash and they said they sucked it up with everything. How convenient. When I asked exactly what did I get for the coupon then, they tried to justify something about the cleaner they 'gave' me which is a lot of money. After they left I stopped payment on the check until I can talk to the owner. Do not use these people!
I had same issue. The ad was for $45.00 and they gave me an extimate of $315.00. The technician was rude and was pushing me for $315.00 service. I'll never ever call this company again. Mater affect I'll tell all of my friends and coworkers about these jerks.
