I applied this to my 6 month old dog and it almost killed her. She foamed at mouth, threw up, pooped all over herself. Had to take her to VET and have shots for reaction. Expensive VET bill, for something they recommended. It may kill fleas and ticks, but it almost killed my dog! I think this product should be removed from the market... It is to new for VETS to be recommending. I am going to ask my VET not to sell this product ever again! Dogs are our family and you do not want to hurt your animal.
I recently used Vectra 3D on both of my dogs. Both dogs had Horrible reactions to this product. One passed away within a day of the application. Now my other is experiencing Kidney failure. Both dogs were extremely healthy before this product. My vet gave me the product and assures me that this is just a coincidence but I have a hard time believing that two healthy dogs suddenly get extremely sick. They are working on IV therapy for the next 3 days to see if we can get her kidneys back functioning otherwise we will have to say goodbye to another dog within 2 weeks. I encourage anyone who reads this to do there homework on anything product you are treating your pets with and know the risks. This is too high a price to pay
for not having the appropriate information. I personally will never use this product ever again.
My little two year old pug had several fleas and I applied several DOTS of this product on his back one evening. The next day he was twitching and jumpinh and walking oddly so I thought wow, the flea infestation must be terrible. so I applied the rest of the tube to him. Well, hubby and I and pug have been up all night B/C he experienced very enhanced reactions like the above including high pitched whining and flipping, super quick breathing as if he had been running, and I was worried that he may have a stroke! My vets told me to give him benadryl and bath thoroughly to remove all this product. I will NEVER use it again
Horrible ! Dont buy it, my dog is suffering for the last 4 days. And I can't do nothing for him. Please don't, stop selling this product !
Vectra 3d should be taken off the market! It is AWFUL! Our cat almost died from the slight exposure he got from the application to the dogs. He was left blind from the violent seizures it caused him. It is also dangerous for kids to be around dogs with the application. Our vet never told us any of that! We spent over 2000 dollars trying to keep our cat alive - all of which could have been avoided! It was a terrible experience and I hope that no one else has to experience it.
