Vayama airline ticket cancellation

I bought a ticket on this website, and the company's irresponsible behavior made me very angry. Because of my mom's special reasons we need to cancel our ticket. We have informed them of the refund request 7 days in advance of the flight departure. But VAYAMA.COM did not help us at all. Every time I contacted them, the company refused to help us with the refund, and I also asked them to contact the South China company to refund the ticket, but I have called the customer service many times and no one really helped me to communicate with the airline. They said that I personally need to contact the airline because the airline changed my ticket and they could not help me. I also contacted the South China Company for my refund procedure. The airline said that they can help me with the refund procedure, but this refund must be submitted through the website where the ticket was originally purchased. I then contacted the site and they said they could not submit any application or form for me. They let me contact the airline. Their behavior is really irresponsible. When I purchased the ticket, they directly charged my money instead of aviation. Now I want to refund the ticket and I have to go through it myself? If the refund is successful, the money will be returned to their company's account. How can I get my money back? Now my problem has not been solved. They are the agent websites for ticket purchases, and they should be obliged to communicate with airlines to get their customers back for the money. But the company's customer service is too bad. This is my worst ticketing experience, I decided not to recommend this site to others. I will advise them to stay away from this website. Please help me follow up this matter。

Vayama Vayama with unethical practices and lack of customer service

For my flight, party of 4 booked with Vayama on June 4, 2019 we requested wheelchair and ADA van assist due to my dad Renato Illescas and mom Imelda Illescas' old age and medical condition. We provided them our flight itinerary and was escorted accordingly. They checked the monitors, radioed in and insisted it was the correct terminal. They bought us to JAL airlines as was listed in the itinerary JL 7015 and was in line waiting for our turn to get checked in. However the ticket airline officer found out it was American airlines operated and we were escorted in the wrong terminal thus this caused us to miss our flight. We again had to request another wheelchair assist to be dropped off to the correct terminal. Despite us arriving early we missed getting checked in with AA.

We have been trying to check in ourselves and it repeatedly gave us error message (Not possible, please contact agent) since the day before. The airport would have documents we were transported priority, with wheelchair and ADA van.

We had been trying to work with both Jal rep (Tessa) and several American airlines associates (Pauline, Ronald Rodriguez) however as much as they wanted to help us rebook we were referred to calling you as they are unable to make any changes on their end. They tried in several ways to fix it and find a solution. Pauline did her best and even created a new itinerary and made phone calls but system won't allow her to make the changes. Everybody at the airport advised us to request a refund from you. Finally I called Vayama +1 855 396 8777 and your customer service Agent named John told me, he is unable to change or cancel the flight without an $800 fee on all 4 passengers, each. Renato Illescas, Imelda Illescas, Joie Illescas and Mary Jane Illescas. He was tagging us no show despite us being there at the airport and said we had to buy 4 new tickets and that I'm losing my roundtrip as well. I tried to ask for a supervisor nicely and he kept refusing. He said their supervisors do not answer calls and no one will talk to us nor help us. This was such horrible experience from our end with Vayama! No customer service etiquette. Even though we we're there way before the flight left, we were marked no show and refused to help re book.

My dad who just got out of hospital is 83 years old, and my mom is 80. We were all stuck at ticketing area trying to work this all out with no food nor water from 11 am till evening. To no avail, we stood in line and made phone calls and spoke to everyone possible. I just want my parents to get home safely with the family and this really made me worried about their health and stress level. My dad started having difficulty breathing so I got us a hotel to sort things out over the evening.

I just want a refund on our tickets as to we have done our due diligence to fix things that we had no control over. As well as the inconvenience this has caused us. We would appreciate your help on this matter as I am just reaching out another time. Attached are the documents. Thank you.

Vayama schedule change

Last Monday, July 29th, I received an email from Vayama.com telling me about a new schedule, but in spite of I could not communicate with Vayama phone number, I called the airline.

Then, they changed the tickets and us according to a new schedule. It was Bogota/Santiago, August 6, and Santiago/Mendoza Saturday 10. It is the itinerary I need because I have a very important meeting in Santiago.

Well, August 1st, I received an email again from Vayama.com telling me a new schedule, with a new itinerary Bogota/Sao Paulo and Sao Paulo/Mendoza for the next Monday August 5.
According to the airline, Vayama made the change, and they cannot change the ticket again because Vayama has control over the ticket. Also, vayama did not finished the process, so I can not fly.

Vayama booking

They charge money from account, then a week before flight they give you money back and force you to buy a new ones specials if you have no time to call customer service to find out what happens. Then when you buy new tickets, they charge you back for the old one! Perfect scam artist company, beware, stay away! I didn't get a refund even thought I canceled within 24 hours

Vayama no response from customer service/ no facilitation of ticket cancellation

I am writing this complaint with a disappointed heart. I booked a ticket of Srilankan airlines on 29th of May via credit card from Vayama's website. Just after few hours, I had to cancel the ticket because of some change in my schedule.
The cancellation policy says, I can cancel the ticket free of charge if I call the customer service number in 24 hours. I called them after 1 hour of booking more than 4 times, every time I would be kept waiting and listening to some music, after 4 to 5 min the call would drop and I wouldn't get connected to any one on call. As i was calling from outside US, I was charged 9 $ for these calls to vayama but didn't get answered.

I had no choice but to cancel the ticket online, so I wrote them email on 29th may 2019, I received the cancellation email on 30th, I was informed in 1 email that:

Airline cancellation fee: 60 USD per person
Our administration fee: 40 USD per person
Total costs: 100 USD

after some 10 minutes i received another email with new rates:

Airline cancellation fee: 60 USD per person
Our administration fee: 50 USD per person
Total costs: 110 USD

and was asked to confirm if i want to cancel. Despite of the fact that I tried to call but they didn't answer the call, I replied at the spot with an affirmative answer to cancel my ticket and charge cancellation fee.

I didn't receive any answer till today, Just as a reminder and because i didn't receive my refund yet, I wrote to the customer services again on June 12. It's very shameful and non-professional on their behalf to have not replied yet. today I received an email from srilankan airline confirming the ticket which I had already cancelled via vayama... which means that my cancellation request isn't processed yet.

Because of their delay I couldn't pay my credit card bill on time and have to pay late payment charges now. Please guide me how can I complain? who to complain ?

I will never use Vayama again for sure and will make sure to sue them.

Vayama flight

Absolutely the worst company I have ever had to deal with. Booked a flight, from Brussels to the USA through vayama. Unfortunately, I had a death in the family and was unable to take my trip. Vayama offered no help to cancel my flight that I booked through them and told me they would not help. Their customer service has repeatedly been extremely rude and when I asked to speak to a supervisor was told that they would not want to speak to me. They told me I had to cancel my flight directly through the airline TUI Fly. So they cannot help with anything such as flight changes or cancellations, in fact they repeatedly gave me the wrong phone numbers and contact info for the airlines and none of the reservation numbers they repeatedly gave me matched any records at the Airlines. So, I unfortunately had to continue to contact their insistently rude customer service in order to finally get only some of the information I needed. On top of the death of my brother that I had to deal with, I had to be verbally abused and mistreated by this company repeatedly just to make simple cancellation. Avoid this company at all costs! And I will also be avoiding any other company that does business with them.

Vayama flight cancelled by vayama / bad service

Hi, I having some issue and need to proceed change of date flight. Customer service explaining about the whatsoever fees. And told me it's 200usd and day if I'm ok she will proceed the change. So I received the email and say thought you said 200? How come it's 300 in the email. After that she told me, should be 400usd and she dropped me another email. And I told her. It's ok.. remain what the flight I have. I'm not doing any changes. She told me that your previous flight have been cancel. I asked her why you cancel when my new flight isn't confirm, that shouldn't be the way. And she ask me to you can't get your old flight anymore, if you want pay the 400 and you got your new flight. I demanding a refund on the kind of service. VUS-[protected]

Vayama fiji airways

Greeting
I am writing to your company in regards to refund of my air fare. I have been advised by Fiji airways to request you to for full refund for my air fare which I paid on 31 March 2019. The authority is EGM CECAFL43879/GEN19. Please reply as to what is your feedback because l need to take this further with Fiji airways. My E- ticket number is [protected].
I have sent emails to your customer-service and no one is responding. The reason for my refund is that Fiji airways staff did not let me board the pass even though I was at the Auckland airport on time ( 1 hour before the departure ) and I also had online checked in and I had my boarding pass.

Please refund my money and take some action against Fiji airways so they improve their services.

Vayama travel agency scams.

Terrible experience. Booking VUS-9297361, Bought from Vayama round trip ticket
Warsaw-Bangkok - Warsaw via Kiev. Vayama gave me wrong information about departure from Warsaw to Kiev flight # PS802. Instead of 16:05 flight departed 5 hrs earlier, at 10:45. (April 1st 2019) So I missed the flight, was forced to buy new ticket to rich my destination. Send 6 emails to Vayama - no answer. Spend hrs trying to call them - nobody answer. Now want to know if I still can use second part of the ticket (flight back from Bangkok to Warsaw booked on May 09), but Vayama is impossible to contact. What can I do? How can business like Vayama can be rated A?

Vayama cancelled connecting flight and no response about further steps

I have booked a flight from Rochester (ROC) - Pune (PNQ) on 18 March 2019 on vayama website. I got mail from Jet Airways that my connecting flight from Abu Dhabi (AUH)-Pune (PNQ) on 19 March 2019 has been cancelled. When I called them they told me to contact the ticketing agency. When I called vayama they told me that according to their systems its not cancelled and when I tried calling again there's been no response. I would really appreciate if you take a look into it and kindly arrange alternate travel plans as soon as possible as I'm leaving united states for urgent commitments in India.

Vayama opaque business practices, unnecessary service

We bought two airline tickets to Spain VUS-7417883 through Vayama in September. We had no idea the tickets were non-refundable until weeks after purchase when we had to email Vayama. Vayama basically has no available customer service. In an obvious attempt to keep costs at a minimum, they only email. We were forced to buy Vayama's insurance policy, which is provided by AIG travel insurance (also something we didn't find out about until after purchase). Unfortunately, we had to cancel our tickets and Vayama was absolutely no help at all (tough luck was their attitude). We've now spent three months trying to recover our money through AIG. Basically, our purchase was completely opaque. No information about the purchase is provided up front by Vayama. If we had bought our tickets directly through an airline, we would know exactly what we were purchasing. From my experience, Vayama is a scam. They take your money and provide no real benefit.

Vayama charged me twice for the one person travelling in the same date, sametime and in same flight number. Airline said they have one booking for that person as "one person can't book twice in the same flight I tried to call vayama, there is no way to contact them. They listed a phone number in the name of Travix Travel USA, which does not even exist, I tried to call them basically no way to contact them [protected]). I already tried the number (Vayama Customer Support at 1.855.396.8777) suggested . It goes to outsource locations in India. This number is only good if you want to pay money not to get refund. I spoke with 4-5 people. Again, they don't have any suggestions. I asked them contact number of manager/ individual knows my problems, they replied suggesting to call Netherland office. I searched contact for Netherland office everywhere, nowhere to find.

Vayama flight operators cancellation

On August 9th, August 8th, and on August 5th I have requested assistance through your customer service on line and via phone call in vain. The Flight #SXF77H operated by British Airways, from London Heathrow to Palermo Italy, has been cancelled by the operator. I called British Airways and consequently informed Vayama's representatives the operator cannot start the refund process until Vayama has made the inquiry to British Airways. Vayama's representatives at first refused to do so, then told me they were going to look into that. As of today I have not received any response.

After my flight was cancelled by the operator, British Airways, I promptly called Vayama to have the issue resolved either via refunding the portion of the journey or booking a different trip via different operator or route. All of the above was refused upfront. British Airways is willing to refund the trip as long as Vayama called them to inquire about it and start the process. Vayama refuses to do so, and it is witholding my possibility of getting my refund. If I will not receive my refund I will file with the General attorney

Vayama online flight booking

Hi,

I booked two tickets for two flights off of the Vayama website which is the one provided by sky scanner. The second flight being a connecting flight. I received no confirmation or e-tickets for the first flight and received only one e-ticket for the second flight.

When I rang Vayama's customer service I was told that there might be a problem with the bank, even though money was taken for both bookings and I received confirmation for the second booking . Also they told me they would send the second ticket for the second flight which I duly received. I contacted the bank the next day and they stated there was no issue and the money had been taken out.

I rang Vayama again and this time I told them that the money had already been taken for the first flight. An agent there told me that the tickets for the first flight were sent to the wrong email address. He called out the email address and I told him that it was not my email address and then he proceeded to hang up! To me this would be a data protection breach.

I rang back and I was told the ticket was "auto-cancelled" and i would receive a refund within 48 hours. I received the refund 3 days later. In the meantime I have booked with another agency. The booking reference for the flight is BIE-2197290. I have used sky scanner for many years without any problem, I will choose not to go with Vayama again because of the stress it has caused.

Vayama airline tickets

Vayama is a company that practices very unethical business practices. There is no reason why tickets being purchased are non refundable. I had just spent $1000 for an international flight, unfortunately as soon as I had purchased my ticket I was informed that I had to cancel my flight at the time. I tried to contact the company but there is no way to get anyone on the phone. I tried to change the dates of the ticket and they told me that I could not change at that time. So, I was left in the position of having to cancel the entire ticket. I sent an email this morning asking for a refund and they told me that I would not receive a refund. I think this is absolute criminal. Please do not use this company. I could have received a refund had I purchased their insurance but I was going to purchase insurance elsewhere. Regardless of that fact, there is no way that it cost them a $1000 to punch a couple of buttons.

Vayama customer service

I submitted a request to change the date of my inbound departure for an international flight EVERY SINGLE DAY FOR THE PAST TWO WEEKS. All I have received is an extremely rude nonresponse directing me to a call center in India presumable manned by a single person, who after a period of 45 minutes feels compelled to terminate the call on my behalf. The idea of having my request processed or even speaking to anyone from this automated disaster remains a pipe dream of mine. This company needs to be shut down or at least face legal repurcuasions for its chronic unpreparedness.

Vayama customer service

For over a month I have been trying to get someone on the phone and via email for changing the date on a return flight. As of this writing, I still don't have any success. I always get the same recorded message saying that they are experiencing a high call volume regardless if I called late at night (after 11pm) or early in the morning (5am-7am). The worst customer service on planet earth.

Vayama customer services

Terrible customer services. For several days I have been trying to get someone on the phone without success. There is always a recorded message saying that they are experiencing a high call volume.

I have a flight booked on Tuesday 03/07 I have been trying to change to 19/07, but I don't get any mean of doing that. I need desperately to speak to someone before Tuesday to be able to make the change. Flight ref is VUS - 5731242

I sent several emails to customer services but unfortunately all the replies I get are useless! There is a risk of loosing my ticket if the change is not made on time.

Can you please assist with this?

I'm having more or less the same issue. I need to change the outbound date of flights for a party of 5 due to a delays in issuing our visas. Vayama failed to respond within 48 hours (as promised) to my request through their website for a quote to change the trip. They've not once answered my phone call. Our scheduled flights are in two days and we're in a panic not knowing our options.

Vayama travel

66 Customer Reviews and 341 Complaints and they get an A+ rating. I think BBB needs to review it's rating system. I purchased tickets in Sept. 2017 for flights from Hartford, Ct. to Barcelona on 5/22/18 and from Venice to Hartford on 6/5/18 for a trip that we had been planning for a long time. In Dec. I was notified of a change in flight times (not unusual or usually a big deal). They never mentioned that the change was part of the flight was cancelled (AirBerlin went out of business). When I finally figured out what happened I asked Vayama for help. They came back and said the only options I had were to leave Venice a day early (which I couldn't do because plans had already been made) or to fly out of Germany (it was up to me to figure out how to get to Germany and after I checked around there was no way to do that) When I explained that neither of the options they gave were feasible and that I wanted my money back they said that they can't do it. It might be that English is a second language but to say that you can't do something means that it is possible. What they should have said, and what they meant to say is that they won't do something. I explained that if I went to a store and purchased a product, and it didn't work, the store would give me back my money. I guess these rules don't apply to Vayama. By the way, on my own using another website I was able to find flights from the destinations that I wanted on the days that I wanted. I guess Vayama isn't that good on offering options to help out their customers either.
Minor side issue, if you call and ask for a supervisor be prepared to have a long discussion with whoever answers the call (they don't like to transfer you) and then get something to eat because you'll be on hold for a very long time.

Vayama flight changed, still waiting on refund

I booked a trip since June 2018 with Vayama. Four days before trip airline contacts me directly communicating change in flight, leaving a day earlier. I called vayama to cancel as I could not do a day earlier. They said I would get my refund in 2 months. Well, I am still waiting.

First they said they were waiting on the airline to confirm. Then they said the airline could not find ticket number, and the airline had sent me new ticket number, which is a total lie. I went personally to airline and in fact they had automatically assigned a new ticket for a very small portion of my flight (first 2 legs. Now Vayama says they cannot do any of the refund and I must work directly with airline.

I called Latam Airlines (second leg of my flight) and they have confirmed that travel agency must fill refund claim as I paid directly to vayama. Bottom line, there seems no one will refund my 2k.
