1 Vancouver, WA, United States Review updated:

This facility hires the worst "caregivers" One admitted to narcotic theft to the MD's at SWWMC where she went for help with "detox" Not just an addict an ignorant, white trash nothing. She was fired but no litigation. These residents are vulnerable and deserve protection from the

It would be helpful when people post comments that they knew all of the facts surrounding the situation. The facility does not hire the worst caregivers and indeed goes through a thorough background check and reference check prior to hiring. We are very happy with the care provided by the staff at Van Mall. After inquiring with administration, they have worked tirelessly with law enforcement and state officials on this and many other issues.

I think the world needs to be rid of the Patricia Denton 's of the world. Nurses that think they have ability to prescribe drugs to people. I think there needs to be a little blame pointed back at you, for pushing drugs to people that were prescribe for your mental stability and pain management. You are nothing but a common drug dealer that has no valued opinion in this world.

Van Mall Retirement DOES have a problem with poor staff. My family member has had cash stolen from their room. The caregivers do not treat residants who require extra time and care with kindness or dignity. The waiters are ill trained to deal with elderly and for the most part are a bunch of high school/college students. The front desk staff in the evenings is not knowledgable and has had lots of screwups when it comes to not being at the desk to answer the phone, not correcting making transportation arrangments for my family member, ect. I would not recommend anyone move into Van Mall Retirement.

As being the mother of stacey beebe I will inform you that the accusation is true. I also believe trish was giving her pain medication. I was at the hospital the night to went through withdrawals. Though Van Mall retirement was not aware of this nor was till recently. They have a great staff. She admitted to the hospital staff she was getting the medication through work.
