Vacation Travel Club Viaggio travel club

On the day of visit I expressed my wife & I was both not feeling well. So the representative went through the presentation we refused so she went to her supervisor who came back with another offer for the Gold package with no money down & half the price. Needless to say it was very impressive to accept the offer plus we were ready to get back to the room. We were staying at a hotel so once we got back we were tired & not feeling like reading all that stuff they put together. The next day we had to drive home which took up 5 hrs to get home. We are in our 70’s I got really sick & had to go to hospital when we returned home. I was finally able to read the financial contract it was doubled from what we were quoted. I called the Viaggio Travel company to cancel & they said they don’t do cancellations. We haven’t used it or it hasn’t even been a week. I will never have anything positive to say about this company. What should we do

Desired outcome: To get out of a contract that was not as described. I have a recording on my phone saying that they were a few changes but I never got to answer because I was sick.

Vacation Travel Club Never got our promised travel voucher

We attended a vacation travel club meeting and presentation about three months ago on January 28th, in Clearwater, Florida and they promised us a free cruise for attending the presentation. We did all of the necessary paperwork online and never have received the free cruise. We received a ‘claim-my-gift.com’ coupon and followed all instructions. We never received anything at all. Our voucher number was N-100013, issued on 1/28/23. Receipt number was [protected]. We wanted a five-day Royal Caribbean cruise for two. We received nothing at all. It said allow 4-6 weeks for delivery and now it’s been about three months!

We feel like this company is a total ripoff.

Desired outcome: Send us the coupon for a free Western Caribbean Cruise as promised.

Vacation Travel Club Copy of contract

I was billed in March 2021 and called them as my ex-husband was to pay all debts according to divorce decree in 2018. This was the first time that I was ever billed, so called them to see why. They advised that the payment was denied as it was on auto billing. I told them that my ex was to be paying for this and they said that my name was on the contract. I advised them that he would have signed it or that possibly both of us had signed. I asked them to send me a copy of the contract at that time. It is now a year later after 4 or 5 calls. The last call made Feb 2022 I was told that they would send it registered mail so they could track where it was at. I called again today after trying to call several numbers, which one is no longer working. I finally got through but was told the person I needed to talk to was out until next Wed. I received their annual billing just fine. I believe that I paid for something last year that I should not have as I'm probably not on the contract and that is why I am not getting proof of it. The only reason I paid for it was that I didn't want it to go to collections. I am in no position to continue to pay this yearly fee.

Desired outcome: want copy of contract and if it is not in my name it needs to be billed to correct person.

Vacation Travel Club Travel reservation

I have tried to cancel my reservation that I made in 10/2019 since April and they will not allow it. blaming the vendor when there is a global pande I booked a vacation to the Bonnet Creek Resort in Kissimmee, Florida on 10/16/2019 pre-pandemic. In April of 2020 I contacted the vacation club to cancel our reservation due to COVID19 and was told they were working on May reservations and they would get back to us. In June I contacted them again and stated that with the increase of deaths I am STILL requesting to cancel my reservation. They insisted that the resort is open and that there is no travel ban to the state of Florida when in fact there is a 14 day quarantine in an executive order from the governor which My family would not be able to do since our vacation and flights are only from August 2-9 from NJ. Today marks the 4th record breaking number of deaths in the state of Florida due to COVID-19. The CDC states that if your travel is not essential to stay home yet the vacation club is saying we are open therefore the reservation is non-canceable. With this being said and the global pandemic affecting our nation I do not understand why the vacation club is being so unreasonable in not allowing us to cancel our reservation. No one could of predicted this disease therefore it is not in any contract. They continue to blame the vendor when I believe they are hiding behind him.

Vacation Travel Club Not Trustworthy

Do not do business with this company or this person. He will tell you whatever you want to hear. He will promise you things and never make good on the promises. It is sad to see that people like this exist in the world.
Stay away from doing any kind of business with this man or his company.

Vacation Travel Club Took $5000 from us

They get you on the way to Branson. (Bad publicity for Branson) They advertise free room and shows, (.$5, 000 is not free). I still get calls from Branson, I think they still need another $5, 000. I will never return to Branson.

They seem to be hitting on senior citizens, because that is what mostly goes there. Needless to say, Branson is a beautiful place to visit, but those companies/people leave a bitter taste in your mouth. Therefore, we shall never return to Branson.

Beware! Visitors to Branson, don't listen to any of them. Pay for your room and your shows, or it will cost you anywheres between $5, 000 to $10, 000.

What promises did they make? What types of vacations have you tried to book thru them?

Vacation Travel Club Refuse to accept responsibility

After plunking down 5 thou, I repeatedly tried to book trips thru VTC. When all my efforts failed, I sued VTC for a refund, claiming failure to deliver promised services. I won my small-claims court suit here in NJ. I haven't collected anything besides the satisfaction of winning, and I am still out the money.

The Benton office said that my problem was with their local franchise, Modern Vacation Planning, and they were not responsible. Well, I've been a franchise owner in another line of work, and I know any reputable franchiser stands behind the franchisee when the name and reputation of the business is at stake.

Stay away from these people. They promise you everything, take your money and deliver nothing.

Vacation Travel Club Failure to deliver

After hearing a glowing presentation, we plunked down 5 thou for membership. The company doid not deliver on even one promise. No free flight for 2 anywhere in the US. Free luggage was as good as a supermarket shopping bag. Not one vacation could be planned, after many tries.

We sued the local office. The HQ in Benton, MI denied any responsibility, saying it was the local franchise that we had to deal with.

I have been a franchise owner in other businesses. A reputable company makes good any wrongs by its franchise owners.

WE won our suit but have yet to collect a penny.

Stay away from these people. They will take your money and then laugh at you.

Vacation Travel Club Poor Service

VTC has consistently let my family down. We have tried to book three trips last year and had to badger them for results, which we had better pricing from Yahoo Travel, and we ran into excuse after excuse. This year we reluctantly renewed our membership and tried to get pricing on condos in Mexico, two weeks later we had to call them and they brushed us off with yet more excuses.
Save your money don't get suckered into the sales hipe it's a lie!

We had been planning on going to Branson Mo for a lot of years and when we did
my wife and I got invited to attend the same meeting at VTA just like so many
others. I do not understand why this type of business scam continues day in and
day out. It is obviuos that this VTA outfit exploits the seniors and anyone who has
a credit card. I too have been a victim of this scam and am ashamed that i knew
better but they made it look so real. I only wish that the local Tv channels that are
in Branson would warn visitors to this tourist city and would pass it on to the editors
at AARP and other citywide tv channels across the nation so that these so called
scamsters can learn to get a real job, and possibly and legally made to repay all the
people they took advantage of.Where is the local authoritys at Branson Mo to monitor
and eradicate all this scam. This obviously is not the only scam in town and we did
enjoyed the shows and met many wonderful and friendly people but Branson does not
need this type of business to continue and would do better to warn visitors about this.

Vacation Travel Club Great Investment

Attended a recent presentation with Vacation Travel Club out of a postal invitation. We were trated well and greatly informed about the opportunity to travel around the world or locally. We received a mail-in voucher to claim our Flights and other rewards for coming in. The marketing was a seperate company from VTC. Over-all our experience was professional and very pleasant. We would have purchased if we would have had the $$. I have some friends who have the Silver package and are very pleased with all of their travel experiences. We have stayed with them at the local Resort with very pleasant results.

Vacation Travel Club Very Happy

We attended and purchased the Gold package from Vacation Travel Club in early Sept. We have used our Flight and Hotel savings many times with success. The Resorts we have booked this November have been available and excellent choices compaired to our Time share limitations. We have had excellent customer service and support with all matters related to our travel needs. You can only reach the staff for suport Monday through Saturday. This is an excellent investment for those who travel or have family that would like to use your membership benefits as well.

Good for you, but we did not get any service or help with any of our plans for vacations. They never helped in any way. They were very rude when we called the manager, but still did not help on vacations. We had to use a local travel agent to plan a vacation. But of course we still paid each year. Our son called because he was on our list to use the Vacation Club, but they never helped him either. We still tried again to plan a trip to Australia, but never did they get back to us or help us in any way. I tried many times to contact them. They just took our money. To me that is stealing what do you think? We tell everyone about them, so others will not get hooked when in Branson. We do not even want to go to Branson any more. We feel we were ripped off big time. This is hurting Branson and someone needs to stop them. Of course, we would like to have our money back. It took us a long time to save up $5, 000.00.

Agreed. The company names are now hidden in realty companies, marketing companies. Multiple holdings, and the same exact travel share company crooks are still running a Branson office but shocker all the companies they have renamed after getting charged by judges and the BBC and told not allowed to participate and closing down the company. The one owner left, who avoided tax evasion charges, opened up other hidden LLC’s located in Delaware and other states to avoid being f singled out in one federal judgement still allowing to collect a d stay in business by changing the name and allowing the 3rd partner in business with Denver and a Thomas wood for over 25 years, Brent headed your the corrupt season Sale Department led by Brent Hedrick’s sales techniques to take advantage of any couple, especially targeted at the families, retired, and elderly who trusted in Destinations and Vacation Services of America located in Branson Mo, only to find out there money was taken, the brochures and contracts do not contain any small print about having to use the plane tickets within a year and most had to hire attorney costing them
Time and money to get out of the scammed contract represented to them as travel vacation, yet consumers were billed by another scam company who refused to refund their money. Brent James Hedrick, approximately 45 years old living in a 5, 000 square foot home, owner of 5 luxury cars, has strategically figured out an angle in order to hide his extra income from all over the US in companies that would seem unrelated to his time share business. If you check out his marketing companies, realty companies, and his shell time travel companies, you will find this same guy, Brent Hedrick, son of Dale Alden and Cynthia Lynn Hedrick, Beat friend of Denver Wood and His dad for making his a 1/3 partner in order to change the way co summers were sold and how to sell them
In record time prior to their ability to cancel for a refund. Instead, other sales people with their over prepared pitch fettered them from cancelling their contract, not returning their calls within the 48-72 hour by law cancellation period and not refunding airfares, refusing to cancel me memberships without hard seeking them the ability to discount their rate or upgrading these same people into some other scam they were told protected them until they were ready to go on their first vacation. These people, like the TRUE OWNER OF MOST OD THE ENTURW COMPANY AND ALL OF ITS ENTITIES ARE WHOLLY OWNED BY THE MASTER ARTIST KF FRAUD, SINCERE SELLING STYLE WHICH MAKES MOST CO SUMERS FEEL EXCITED AND TRUSTWORTHY OF BRENT HEDRICK AND HIS TEAM.
Do your research these folks get involved in charities, autism groups to help others, and excel and their false perception of reality. These are some of the most charming authentic folks you’ll ever meet in person again and again until you do your research!

And like the above listed, always GO WURH YOUR GUT and not your head on purchasing from Brent Hedrick’s and his floating teams all over the US and Deleware LLC’s. Also check out where your check is being deposited, into which Holding company not doing business as a dba. Because these folks having been in jail and trouble multiple times, no how to work all the angles in their favor.

Vacation Travel Club MISLEADING SERVICES & PRICING

The Vacation Travel Club representatives were "less than open and honest" with us when we attended their presentation. (Summer of 2008)

We were given program pricing that turns out to be greatly inflated over what many other members have paid. We traded in an Arizona Time Share with our purchase and were led to believe that we received 50% off the cost of the vacation package by handing our PAID FOR time share over to them. Our Time Share was valued at somewhere between $2500 and $4000 (estimated market value) PLUS we signed a contract for an ADDITIONAL COST of $3300 for the Travel Package.

TO TOP THAT OFF, when we got back home in Oklahoma and attempted to use the travel package, for Christmas trip planning purposes, we were told we had to pay on the package for a year before we could use it!. Nothing like this was ever discussed with us before we left Branson!

We went to Branson this summer to talk to them about this and on our first visit at their business office, nobody would come out to talk to us about the status of our contract. We called them from our car in the parking lot and were told someone would talk to us if we returned. We were advised that we could cancel our contract if we chose to do so but could not expect to receive any compensation or refund from the approximately $1700 cash AND a time share we had traded in on the package. In current searches, it is clear that the club does not offer discounts that cannot be obtained by using other discount pricing options that you do not have to pay fees for using.
IN FACT, just today, we found cheaper airlines tickets that those offered by our Vacation Travel Club just by using Priceline.com!

YES, we were probably too easily duped at their presentation but when the ordinary person sees all the wonderful things they present to you as actual "YOU CAN GO NOW" TRAVEL OPPORTUNITIES (that turn out to be non-existent or unavailable) it is easy to fall for their ruse. I believe that any reputable business with a worthwhile product SHOULD sell their product to everyone at the same price, rather than have agents or managers "play everyone" for what they feel they can get out of them for the program...Which is clearly the case with VSA & their VACATION TRAVEL CLUB.

I intend writing to someone to try to get some sort of financial relief or reimbursement... but am not expecting much, from what I read from other complaints about VSA. I'll follow-up on this site with a report on that situation, if allowable.

Vacation Travel Club False Promises

Vacation Services of America promised that as members of Vacation Travel Club, we would be able to get the lowest rates on hotels and motels as we traveled. Fact, we got better rates just walking in without a reservation. They also promised huge savings on first rate condos. We did get a good rate on a condo at Ft. Morgan, Al but it was poorly maintained. The plumbing fixtures, faucets and water control, were hanging loose through the wall. They were operable but very unsightly and in danger of breaking loose.

I have a rental unit in Florida and received an e mail about it. After researching where it came from I found out that Vacation Travel Club was trying to rent my place. They said it was for a client of theirs. What they are actually doing is renting from me, bumping up the price and scamming their clients into paying more for the unit. I only do business directly with clients and told them that. I got a nasty e mail back from them saying they do business this way a lot and they won't bother me again. Beware of where you rent from!

On 6/16/08 I received a automated phone call from West Star advertising claiming that I hand enter my name somewhere and won a 4 day five night cruise all inclusive, and a 300 dollar gas card. All I had to do to obtain the offer was go to their grand opening of their new location in Irving Texas, be married or living with partner (co-habiting), 25 years or older, and have a credit card with a Visa or mastercard logo. I accepted the offer.

That afternoon I received a from call from Lauren at West star and she again confirmed the details listed above and also mentioned that I would have to attend an hour long presentation and the only reason they needed the credit card was for identification purposes only and she gave us a confirmation code. She stated that I could go pick up the gifts and attend the presentation that next day on 6/17/08 at 6:00 pm or 8:00 pm. I chose 8:00 because I don't get off of work until 6:00. Me and my fiancee arrive 30 minutes early, excited that we would finally get to go on a cruise which we could have used for our honeymoon! When we arrived I noticed that we were the second couple there. The receptionist asked us for the confirmation code, to see our ID and our credit card. Let me remind you that I was told that any credit card with a VIsa or Mastercard logo would work, so I handed her my debit/credit card that included a Visa logo. When I gave it to her, she asked me if I had a 'major' credit card, I replied yes, but they're in my other purse and explained that I was told that the card I had was okay to bring. she told me that it was not a problem and gave me the application to fill out.

As soon as we sat down, a guy by the name of Craig approached us and asked how did we here about them, I told him that we received a phone call that stated I had entered my name somewhere. He insisted on knowing. He then asked, well, do you think it was on craigslist or backpage. I told him that I didn't remember, all I know is I received the phone call from West Star Advertising and he replied 'Oh that makes sense'. What ever that's suppose to mean. So we finished the application and handed it back to the receptionist. A couple of minutes later she returns and asks us what gifts were we offered, I told her, then she preceded back to her desk. At this time more couples have shown up. We had been there about 30 minutes and we were noticing that all of the people who arrived after us, all except two African American Couples and and a Caucasian couple who happened to be sitting right next to us.

Ten more minutes had passed and then a guy comes up to us and tells us that they can't let us in the presentation because we did not provide a valid credit card. I explained to him the same this that I explained to the receptionist and I also told him that this was a waste of time, the receptionist should have told us that at the beginning. I told him that I had two major credit cards at home, I brought my debit card because it just happened to be in the purse that I was carrying that day. I also told him that my fiance could run back to the house to retrieve it. He said that they were about to start but he would go and speak to his manager. The couple next to us over heard the conversation and told us that they didn't have a major credit card either and they were told that any card with a visa, master card logo would work. In the middle of our conversation the same guy that we were talking to called them to the side room. When the couple left the room they told us that the reason they wants your credit card was so that they could bill you every month for the 'free' cruise. After they told us this, we got up and headed for the door. I told the staff while we were heading out, that the whole advertisement was a crack of bull and they shouldn't judge a book by it's cover. Craig came behind me explaining that they were about to ask us to come back to the presentation while at the same time ripping up our application.

To be honest, I feel as though we were being discriminated against. We were one of three African american couples that were the only ones remaining in the waiting area. One of those couples they told they could not attend because they to did not have a major credit card, the other couple they let into the presentation. Its my assumption that they let the other couple in, which arrived right after us, because they had no other choice. I'm sure they had a major credit card and they didn't have anything else to single them out. Another question that I would like to know is why did they call the caucasion couple that did not have a major credit card to the back to explain to them the criteria if you didn't have a major credit card but automatically were telling the african american couples that we couldn't attend the presentation. Were they going to let the caucasion couple go to the back if they had excepted the terms or was it because they automatically judged the african american couples as low income people who are unable to afford their cruises? Your guess is as good as mind but whatever the case may be, no one regardless of race, age, ethnicity, or gender should be treated the way that we were! They need to own up to the offer that they promised and maybe this letter will give them a wake up call. I would hate for someone to endure the humiliation and embarrassment that we did with this company! They should just post a sign that says' If you are a minority you can not attend the presentation but if you have a major credit card 'which is suppose to be for identification purposes but we really need it so that we can sell you cruises and bill you, then this is not the place for you.' We will not give you a free cruise or $300 gas card because we will not get anything in return' The only way to get this items is if you are willing to PAY!

We went to a presentation of Vacation Travel Club and were promised a free gas card and two free airline tickets. The presenter said we had one year to book the flights but when we tried to book them several week later they did not respond for two months. When we finally heard from them after numerous calls and emails, they told us it was too late to give us the airline tickets or the gas card.

We went through their prices and they weren't any cheaper as they'd said and they wouldn't give me a refund of any part of the initial membership of $3, 314.00. I will report report them to the better business bureau of Michigan and I am taking them to small claims court.

These people are scam artists and thieves.

We joined the Vacation Travel Club after a pressured sales talk and later found that many things they told us were a lie. We called them about it and they quoted what was in PRINT, although that was opposite of what they SAID. I filed a complaint with the BBB and received an email back that, after several attempts on their part, VTC never responded. I called today (after being members for over 2 years and not once being able to use the club) to put our membership on hold. I was told it was too late for this year, that they needed to know, in writing, 14 days prior to Sept. 1. To reinstate our membership at a later date would require $200 fee plus any dues owed for that year. What a RIP-OFF! I'm sick of this mess! I'm ready to take more action, but have no idea how to do it or what to do.

Amen! You hit the right color. She needs to be glad that she did not have the fine oppourtity of attending this scam of a meeting. We did and we are now cancelling and we can't find the Vacation Travel Store in Irving, Texas or Keller, Texas. They don't exist!

We purchased shares of VTA while in Branson, turned over our paid time shares from Florida. VTA took the time shares, but did not pay the annual maintenance fee, but we were not aware. The Florida time share turned us into a collectio agency for the maintenance fee; then we received notice. When I followed up with VTA, they sent my call back to Branson, they told me if I paid the maintenance fee, I could use th paid time in return. In order to get my name off the collection agency I paid the fee; then when I called the Florida time share to use the time (as promised by VTA) - I was told the time share was no longer in my name, and could not use it. I was duped. Paid the maintenace fee to get myself off the collection agency report, and when I did VTA turned in the deed and got the property turned over in their name. Slick - they not only received our paid time shares, they managed to get another year of maintenancefee from use, and charged us another $2017 to buy the VTA package. Beware - DO NOT BUY INTO THE PROGRAM> IT IS A SCAM!

That's funny. Why is it when ever something negative happens to someone of African American descent its automatically because of their color? After reading this complaint its quite obvious what happened. They were invited to a SALES presentation with the offer of a gift as incentive for attending. Now for those of you out their with half a brain this will make all the sense in the world. THEY WOULD NOT LET YOU ATTEND BECAUSE YOU DID NOT HAVE THE FINANCIAL ABILITY TO PURCHASE WHAT THEY HAD. You brought a debit card and the manager was playing the odds. Most debit cards have a daily spending limit of some where around a thousand dollars. What they were selling either cost more then a thousand or required a down payment of over a thousand dollars. It would not have mattered if you were black brown purple yellow or orange. All they see is green. Which you obviously didn't have. I am so tired of every time something bad happens to a black person its automatically racist. IF YOU DON'T LIKE AMERICA LEAVE! Racism will only be done when my kids qualify for the black college fund.

Vacation Travel Club - Cancellation of membership application denial

My name is: James E. Thompson, N7495 535th St., Menomonie, Wisconsin 54751 On December 5, 2008 I filled out an application for membership and payed $2, 800 to Vacation Services Of America in Branson, MO to be sent to Vacation Travel Club in Benton Harbor, MI for a membership in the club. Because of some finacial concerns when we got home in Wisconsin, we...

Vacation Travel Club club membership

As a result of ugly sales tactics after the vacation club presentation what I called brainwash session, I decided to join the club. They stated in contract (which can not be cancelled) that the average condo price is $470 per week. Everything what I find on the internet on their website "Vacation Travel CLub" is way above $470. The sales man was told that we are 4 persons family and this is what we are looking for. The average of $470 means for me that they have to offer vacation also lower thatn $470 per week per condo in order to obtain value of $470 as an average. And this is my main defend line. Almost nothing in US is lower than $470. I found 2 condos with maximum occupancy 1 person in off season time. THe sales man was also told that I am interested in location where I can drive a car in order to not to pay for plane tickets. I live in Delaware so almost entire east coast is ok with me and I found nothing under or equal $470. They said that I did not contact the condo specialist. I can ask for offer but in order to do that I have pay $25 processing fee(not bad) and then they PROBABLY charge me automatically for the vacation. So there is no way to just to check the offer. Complaint about charging without cardholder agreement against Vacation Travel Club can be found on complaintsboard.com . How to prove that they missrepresent the value what was my main reason to join the club? How to step from the contract.

We purchased the Vacation Travel Club membership that promised we could go on crusises and overseas trips for as little as $1, 000. We spent 6, 500.00 and have tried to used it three times...They were not any cheaper that expedia to travelosity. They said they would be alot cheaper. There should be some recourse for false advertisement. I think we should be refunded our money! This is the biggest scam I have ever seen. They lied about everything they promised! We travel alot and thought it would be helpful. Please be careful about spending money one VTC.

I do not know which Vacation Travel Club you have. I own a membership with Vacation Travel Club out of Benton Harbor MI and have owned for about 3 years. My family and I always dreamed of traveling and it was never possible without this program. Since I have joined with them my family of 5 have been on a Disney Cruise and a all-inclusive trip to Jamaica. We took the cruise and got it through the club for $2, 367.64 for my entire family and had a perfectly fantastic time. So in short thank you V.T.C. for helping my family, and to think if we had decided to skip that trip to Branson in 2006 we would still just be dreaming.

Vacation Travel Club Rip off

Our story is much like many others, unfortunately. Although we resisted the timeshare pitch in Branson, the follow up vacation club seemed like a good idea. What were we thinking! Rebelhorse, What's the status of your action? We're not seeing any savings as promised, and there certainly is no 24/7 support! We don't see much availability of condos that we'd be interested in. On a cruise comparison, the costs are penny for penny what we can find on the cruise line's own site. We've asked our credit card company to dispute the charge. Rebelhorse, how do we contact you?

Vacation Travel Club Scam and cheating

We got scammed into the Vacation Travel Club while in Branson Missouri. We were promised a free cruise and a free trip to Ireland if we paid the fee and joined. The fee was almost five thousand dollars. This was about three years ago. When we went to take advantage of one of the trips we were told the company that had sold it to us had gone out of business.

As far as I am concerned the whole company is a big scam center and we might as well have flushed five grand down the toilet! We have not found trips any cheaper than we can get them through many other companies.

Elevations Resorts in Canmore is the same bunch of people as Chateau World, Royal Club International, Royal Club Resorts, Royal Crown Resorts and the Banff Gate Mountain Lodge and Spa.

Rumor has it that the Banff Gate Mountain Lodge and Spa and also Chateau Canmore (both controled by Andre Muran) are facing foreclosure.

RCI has removed Chateau Canmore from their listings and members of "Chateau World" are being contacted with offers for "great deals" for investors to get in on Elevations Resorts.

Elevations Resorts is more from the same damn scammers!

Sadly, vacation clubs and scams are everywhere and the con artists that run them just change names and continue ripping people off when they get caught.
We have a big one in Alberta- started as Royal Club International (scammers would tell you you were buying RCI- then have you sign contracts for Royal Club- a completely different entity)
Charges were eventually laid and the people behind the scam just incorporated another company called "Chateau World" and kept running the same scams out of the same locations with the same phone numbers... it is incredible.

There is information on numerous sites about this Canadian scam:

Vacation Travel Club Scam

My husband and I were talked into attending a presentation by this group while in Branson, MO.

They say you can get hold of them 24hr/day. Nope.

They say they guarantee best rates, NOPE.

They say you can find great reduced rates. NOPE

They lie and you have no recourse. DO NOT trust these people. I was even threatened when I called to complain about the service or rather lack of. The women said if I came in to complain she would have me arrested.

These are heavy handed criminals as far as I’m concerned and I will tell everyone I can about what kind of thieves they are.

I joined the vtc three years ago and only saved money on airline tickets one time out of five. We was also suppose to get a cruise out of the deal and was never able to get ahold of anyone to help us. I feel like I've wasted my almost 4000.0 dollars. My husband wants me to try to cancel the membership to at least get out from under the yearly dues. I wish I could at least get our cruise as promised. I would feel like keeping the membership and giving it another chance. Disappointed in Oregon

I booked a trip for my family to go to Disney World next month. We got roundtrip airfare, accomodations at Disney's All Star Resort, five day park hopper passes, all of our taxes and Disney's magic transportation for under $600 per person! The cheapest I could find anywhere else was more than double the price! I looked into the Better Business Bureau and they are an accredited member with a satisfactory rating . That means that they are taking good care of their customers. This company is by far the best. I would recommend them to anyone.

My husband and I were promised a free gas card and 2 free airline tickets to join vacation travel club. I never got the gas card and when we went to book the airline tickets, they said it was too late to get them even though they said we had one year to get them.
It took them over two months to respond to our original request for the tickets and when we finally said we wanted to cancel the took the full price for the membership and would not refund us a penny even though they never followed through with the gas card or the airline tickets.
These people are thieves, pure and simple and I will file a complaint with the better business bureau and take them to small claims court.
I don't know who the company was that charged our credit card for $3, 314.00, but it wasn't VTC, it was Ender Management. In going after the charge, our credit card company was no help at all so I will also have to take them to court.
This has been nothing short of a nightmare.

I don't understand this posting. I'm going to Destin Florida next month through the club and I'm paying $325 for an entire week for my family of six to stay in our own private beach accomodations. The cheapest that I could find anywhere for the summer was over $1500 for the week for my entire family. I think this persons complaints are against the person who sold it to them. The vacation club has a great record and is a member of the Better Business Bureau. This company is the best in my book and I would highly recommend them.

Vacation Travel Club They scammed us

October 07 my husband and I with another couple visited Branson. To get discounted show tickets we agreed to a vacation presentation with VTC, LLC. Their program does not work the way they said it would. They are more expensive, not cheaper and rude and unhelpful. Contacted them. No compromise or willingness to make the customer happy. Time frame did not allow a chance to review company and rescind contract, which I would have done after investigating VTC. Anyone else had this horrendous experience. Contact me at sharon.[protected]@comcast.net. Don't let this happen to you...thanks..

Shut Brent James Hedrick and find the paper trail showing Brent was in on this scam from the beginning and created the deceptive sales tools to gain enormous profits which he knowingly used in videos, signed visuals, deceptive sales premeditated scam script schemes without using any ethical by laws to protect the consumer ( instead abusing their law by not calling the consumer back and citing the 48-72 hour rescind period is over, not refunding or giving the consumer the discount or room or destination location promised upon signature. Everything for Brent Hedrick and what was promised was foremost the benefit for him, his salespeople, his bottom line, his own personal bank account, and although clients are sold out of Abramson or Michigan or Florida, none of these travel companies holdings Brent Hedrick, listed as owner reside where he lives and works in Branson Missouri. This way, Brent and VSR, VSA, Destinations, International Travel, and a hundred more names meant to hide and scatter their company or LLC identity for credit card processing, liability and tax purposes, or any consumer complaint can never affect their bottom line or sue them professionally or personally. Their holdings are in a different name, a different persons name, a name disassociated with the travel time share business. Good luck because evil and green never wins. It’s not a matter of IF ITA A MATTER OF WHEN BRENT AND CRISTAL HEDRICK

Legacy destinations
Ft. Lauderdale Florida
My husband and I attended a 90 minute sales presentation with Legacy Destinations in Naples Florida. Presentation was in a hotel, and the worst presentation we have ever seen. We were promised in writing 3 gifts, got one. Were told they ran out of gifts, and the $25 visa card and $25 dining cert would be sent to us in 2 days.

This was in June 2013. Got the runaround from Rob Crawford, owner and sales mgr. Roger Williams. Still no gifts. These folks are timeshare sales people and not a travel agency as they stated in their pitch. Their fee to join Legacy Destinations is $12k. Went back to the Fort Lauderdale Marriott hotel were presentation was, they are no longer there

Vacation Travel Club does not sell Memberships nor do they have a company in Branson, MO. All sales are made and sold through individual Independent Distributors. All monies are paid to such Distributors, not VTC. All marketing gifts are the responsibility of Distributors and not purchased or fulfilled by Vacation Travel Club, but by the company printed on the Travel Certificate or gift. Vacation travel club membership was sold to us through Vacation Travel Store... A company based in... um.. oh, right, I have no idea where because the company did not tell us that they were in fact, not vacation travel club. We were given the standard three day period to cancel the agreement as required by law. However, we were repeatedly lied to about the quotes we were given to evaluate the worth of the "deal" during this time. The saving we assumed by comparing the rates we were quoted to the beautiful ocean front rooms were about 60% off. However, when we actually booked that room, turns out it was not the beautiful ocean front room, but rather a much smaller room looking out over the tennis court, and facing away from the ocean. Although we would still save about 20% on this room, such a change in "savings" is certainly not what was advertised, and makes the buy-in price a very large rip-off. All other quotes from the actual company were similar. Moreover, the vacation travel store (vts) refused (by way of delay) to process our application for direct access to the VTC website so we could directly evaluate their offers. This is simply false advertising and deceptive marketing. Anyone should stay away from either of these companies, and send in that cancellation form as quickly as possible if you have already purchased a membership.

It’s a a scam not even the BBS, IRS or any other state or Federal authority can find now. The company claimed to open up a new LlC company And the same crooked almost 50 years old owner who subcontracts after learning not to hire them as liable direct employees has misled everyone include the authorities into believing that he, Brent Hedrick is adhering to all laws and consumer protection. This is to preserve his company that he was also operating the deceiving sales techniques and preying on families and the elderly who saved this money to spend the rest of their lives making memories. Instead, Brent Hedrick and his wife Cristal Hedrick ( a community outreach autism activate) has gained community accolades as well
As their daughter who signs at community functions and their son cash. Unfortunately, this family practices ongoing deceptive company practices, money laundering. Shell companiesc companies collecting consumers money disguised as marketing and real estate and international
Companies. Only you can choose to practice due diligence on this greedy owner who cares more about his image in tne community than taking care of his consumers all over the world to ensure transparent authentic honest proactive practices which the state and Govt cannot allow just because their are such practices isolating these crooks from being sued or shut down by learning from lawyers what to do and not to do to protect you Brent Hedrick, Cristal Hedrick, Chad Hedrick, Mr Duvall Denver wood and a Thomas Wood who are still actively making money through Brent Hedrick and their independent contractors deceptively and through illegal tax documents with most paid in cash under the table.

I have since had a little more experience with Vacation Travel Club (VTC, the Michigan company behind Paradise travel), not all bad. They were able to book me a 2BR apartment at a rate that was indeed about 40% cheaper than a 2BR suite hotel room was for the same week in the city I am going to visit.

That’s the good news. They said in our presentation that they can save money on condos, cruises, and packages, not airfare or cars. That too is true- they don;t save you on airfare. They have a requirement that you send them a signed form for every air travel booking. Instead I booked the same flights on Orbtiz faster, and about $10 cheaper.

And they continue to be very poor with overall service- takes them forever to answer your e-mails. Waiting a week for them to get back is not uncommon, vs. booking something while you look at it on the web. So I’d have to say in my case (assuming the apartment is actually there when I visit!) they can do what they say they specialize in, but they are poor at service, and probably not worth what we paid for it.

Vacation Travel club may not sell the memberships, but if you look up court case rebecca and rex barton v. utopian travel and vacation travel incentives dba vacation travel club in oregon circuit court, county of Multnomah, (search Scot Ender- he's the owner of VTC)- you'll see that according to the court case VTC trains the sales companies in their deceptive practices. This would make sense if the plan is to keep VTC as a squeeky-clean compnay with that BBB rating while folding each of the sales organizations once the ill will builds up.

I have thrown my money out the window joining this club. I have continuously looked for "deals" on their website and compared to expedia, orbits, and a few others. My best deals have come from my local travel agency. Also, the financial institution they have you get the loan through is a joke of an operation. I have had nothing but a headache since we joined!
