This review was chosen algorithmically as the most valued customer feedback.

Ordered mid July 2006 two items of Jewelry. It never appeared so in October I called the shopping channel and cancelled the orders and asked for a refund on my Credit Card. I was assured I would get that in a few days. Cut a long story short... I have called, emailed, called, emailed for many months and still nothing. They have my money and I have nothing and it seems I can do nothing about it. I have tried reporting them many times to whoever I can but still they seem to have got away with it. I have reported them to the Better Business Bureau but they have got no where and closed the case. I have reported them to the Government office dealing with complaints and they have done nothing. I now find they have transfered calls to India where I am again told I will have my refund but nothing has appeared. How can this happen in America that a Shopping Channel can take your money and keep it with nothing in return. Who do we complain to? and who will make sure they pay the customers that they have taken money from? At this stage January 2007 its obvious I am not getting my money so is that theft?

Moving to TN to take care of my parants, I lost time and failed to contact, since I knew you would send the ring eventualy. Now as of yet, you have taken advantage of me by taking the money and not sending the ring.
Now, I am asking you send the ring or return the money ASAP. I am securring a LAWYER to take over the matter. Looking forward to hearing from you.

We too were taken by USN. I can't believe that this company could get away with this... Are there not any goverment regulators keeping watch on these companies? We are out $3, 029.92... That's a lot of money... Our credit card was unwilling to help or reimburse us either. Something should be done! I too believe that Mr. Mark Miller, Chief Executive Officer should be personally responsible. As the following words in his letter states, "The Ultimate Shopping Network was founded on his principals...committed to offering the finest jewelry...and the we can rest assured... they take great pride... they appreciate our business...

the Ultimate Shopping experience has been nothing but frustration, disappointment and sadness for us.
Please contact us if anyone knows how we can contact this company and/or people responsible for taking our money.

I can be reached at [protected]

Thank you.

Since July 2006 ---- Still No Refund
Definately this is a CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT & CRIMINAL CHARGES should be pursured. COUNT ME IN ON THIS.
purchased a ring with my credit card June 2005. Received a return confirmation from Ultimate Shopping Network, and "STILL NO REFUND TO MY CREDIT CARD." This company was on a public television network, should have been bonded, insured and legitimate, and have done nothing but "ROBBED" our bank accounts, by our credit card information.

There should be charges filed against them and they have to spend time in the penetentry for this crime against us and all our money (in addition to the interest we all have had to pay, and some of us still paying), plus the time and aggrivation of this "CRIME." Have left numerious messages at the Corporate office of ULTIMATE SHOPPING NETWORK @ [protected] AND @ [protected] since July 2006 to return my call and refund my credit card account, with NO RESPONSE FROM THEM, in addition to numerous request for refund and always am told "promise will receive full refund within 14 to 20 WORKING DAYS. Nothing but lies. Count me in on any lawsuit against these "CRIMINALS." They must not be able to get away with this and they must pay. You can contact me concerning this matter of prosacuation. I'm at my breaking point with "ULTIMATE SHOPPING NETWORK"

Maybe this can help also. I to could of written the first complaint. Sept 2006, I ordered a 1.5 carat diamond solitaire, supposedly SI2. My account was charged immediately $2514. After many inquiries and a subsequent request to cancel the order, the ring finally arrived in November. I immediately returned it, doing everything required as the stone was totally included. I checked and the ring was delivered a few days later. I have yet to receive my refund and the phone lines and web site no longer work.
I tried to get my Visa card company to dispute the charges but they would not. They said to give it a few more days, so I did then it was to late.
Today Feb. 20, 2008 I filed a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission. They took down all the information. So maybe if you have been scammed by this Ultimate Shopping Network you should file with FTC also. Their phone # is !-[protected] or go on lline at www.ftc.gov. they go after these guys on behalf of the group.
Good luck

Like so many others, I have been scammed by Ultimate Shopping Network. I purchased a 4ctw diamond tennis bracelet on auction for $1,600.00 way back in late spring 2006. No bracelet - no refund! How they can auction off something that they don't even have is beyond my understanding! Pure fraud if you ask me!
I think that their troubles started at about that time as I had checked with the Better Business Bureau before making a purchase and there were no complaints filed. It's a different story today!
After numerous telephone calls and broken promises, the transaction had gone well beyond my credit card company's 60 day dispute limit. I filed complaints with the Better Business Bureau, California State Attorneys' Office, Federal Trade Commission, Federal Consumer Protection Agency, and others - all to no avail.
I doubt that a class action suit will be filed because there are no "deep pockets" to go after but, if there is one, count me in!

As many of, I too was taken by Ulitimate Shopping Network. I had ordered a ring for $1919.45 on my Discover Card and returned it due to poor quality. USN said they would refund the money, which they did, however another package came and I refused to sign for the package. The following month $1909.00 was then charged to my Chase Card. Still not exactly sure how they got my credit card number for Chase... I called USN and they said they would take care of it. That was in June 2006. The following month, it never fell off my Chase card, so I called USN again, they insisted that I purchase some other jewelry for the amount they charged my credit card for.

In the meantime, I have contacted Chase the first month it appeared on my credit card statement and they needed me to fill out a dispute form, which I did and sent it back to them. They claimed they never received it. I have been going round and round with Chase to resolve this, but they have told me that the dispute time has past and I must pay this charge.

Again, like everyone else, USN can no longer be reached. I have contacted the Federal Consumers Protection Agency, the Federal Communications Commission and the Federal Trade Commission with no success in helping to get this resolved. I have also contacted my States Attorneys office and am still waiting for a reply. There was a statement in another complaint that I whole hearty agree with "Direct TV should be responsible because USN should have been bonded, licensed, and insured.

If anyone hears of anything regarding this... please feel free to e-mail me at: DNMAshbaugh@aol.com & kristyreynolds@comcast.net.

I guess misery loves company. I ordered a ring which of course never came and every time I called it was some sort of mistake and the problem would be taken care of immediately. Called and asked for refund to credit card which they assured me would happen and surprise, surprise, it's been a year and many phone calls which now the number is no longer in service and far too much time has passed to register a complaint with my card company. Has anybody heard of any action being taken against this company as of yet?

I bought earrings in august 2007 and of was told they couldn't fill the order because the vendor would not supply the earrings, so I would get a refund of 2065.00, in 15 days. Well 10 months later and a couple dozen phone calls and no refund. Credit card company said I waited to long for them to do anything, so I am out the cash. These people are outright crooks, they to have their ### kicked.

I purchased a $589.00 ring over the TV last August,2007. Spoke with Jesse McFarland and his boss several times through the months and was told that USN was going bankrupt, but as soon as the disputes were settled, I would receive a full refund plus interest. Guess what, I still haven't herd a thing from anyone. If a lawsuit is formed, please contact me. I will do whatever is needed. I have saved phone conversations and e-mails.

The last sales representative I talked to was very nice - LOL. He said that soon they will be selling more merchandise and we will all get our refund. Of course, that is what Carlos said; Joe said; Victor said; Perry said; Dan said; Raymond said; Kathy said; Andy said; Anthony said; Jeff said; Marcas said - I could go on and on! I haven't come up with a solution yet, but I WILL!

Somehow I will purchase item for similar amount and figure out a way NOT to pay. I think that is possible.

In October 2, 2006 I purchased a 2 carat diamond ring for 1809.00. I never received this and have called several times since then and can not get anyone. It is now June 2007 and nothing. I would like to be notified if there is going to be a civil suit.

The Company has officially filed Chapter 7 bankruptcy. It is over now. The Company is out of business. Most people should be able to recover their money by calling their credit company for a full refund.

Thank you Mark Miller!

Michael Reinstein of USN Ultimate Shopping Network sez that he gives alot to charity and is a big philanthropist. Why can't this bloke can give us our money back instead of stealing from us and giving it out to charities to wash his conscience. This is ridiculous.

I am so mad! I had ordered from these criminals also. My order was only $210.00 but when I went to get my money back they would not and didn't tell me! They told me I would be credited. I ordered in April and in October they call and tell me I have a credit with them. I was mad and said what? Why wasn't it put back on my account like I was told! So I said fine I will watch. I watched and seen nothing I was interested in. They only showed expensive items. Stuff that was much more than I had credit for. No way was I going to give them any more money. Then Capitol One the so called "no hassle card" tells me well it has been past 120 days since you ordered! Well of course it has been. The company purposely waited past the date so they can keep your money no matter what! So now the so called " no hassle" people have informed me they will do nothing even though they know for a fact this company ripped off a lot of people. Which if you ask me makes them an accomplice. I am now looking into a new card.

Why hasn't our government did anything about this? Why are people from india being allowed to rob us blind and nothing is being done about it? They are allowed to come here and start a business and rob people and move back to india and all we do is send them more of our jobs via dell and hp? I think that country should be banned from doing business with the US. Period No More!

These crooks Michael Reinstein and Brian Kelly are involved in a shopping channel in the England called Deal TV. Same story on other complaints boards for the UK. Charging credit cards, not shipping any product. Google Deal TV and complaints. Here is an article from the Sunday Sun where they are saying the same "customer service issues" as they did at USN:

Real deal error

By The Sunday Sun

Deal or no deal for Margaret Gilchrist? Deal, of course, when she asked for my help in a row with shopping channel Deal TV.

Margaret told me how she paid for an ornamental globe but did not receive it. Margaret, of Wingate, County Durham, said: "I have repeatedly asked why it is and I get different answers. Can you help?"

I spoke to Deal TV's Brian Kelly in America and he held his hands up. He said: "We provided crummy service for about a month. I invested in the business and, quite frankly, I was not happy. We have now switched fulfillment centres. Your reader will be sorted out, I promise."

Margaret later confirmed the ornament had finally arrived.

I am so glad that is not just me. I am a single mom and coming across extra money is hard. I invested 2000.00 from my tax return last year in a 2ct diamond cocktail ring as a gift to myself and the diamonds were cloudy. I sent it back within the terms and conditions and it has been a year now and I am mad as hell that they never refunded me my money. My credit card company can't do nothing and I too have reported them to BBB. Should some one care to take this matter into a court room count me in. I have been promised for a year now that I would get my money and I am still waiting. Last I spoke with some one in the company was January 9, 2007 with a Richard Sweeney

All of your facts are wrong.

USN is controlled by a company called Global Sun Enterprises Limited headed up by an Indian named Bhavik Jhaveri.

This is public record. Golden Sun controls the majority of USN’s stock.

Read the SEC filing info.

The other guys were the initial investors who funded the business.

I googled these guys and found these links to the owners of USN. I have no idea if it is accurate or not. I think it is their new company with phone number. The Archetype Group and lists USN as one of their successes. I noticed on that FTC complaint that Archetype is listed as one of the companies prohibited from doing business using credit cards due to past abuses of customers. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/18054550/ and http://biz.yahoo.com/pz/070410/117039.html Has anyone been able to get ahold of these guys?

I purchased a pair of diamond earrings. When I received them they weren't the ones that were shown. I returned them to USN, and waited for my refund. I purchased the earrings in April 2006. I yet have not seen a refund. I spoke with someone at USN in February 2007. He assured me that I would be getting a check in the mail in two months. Needless to say after reading all of the other peoples woes, I still don't have a refund.
