USA3000 Airlines Travel / My daughter is stranded

I purchased a round trip ticket for my daughter for her springbreak vacation with the airline titled usa 3000 located at the newark new jersey airport.. Anyway to my surprise my worried and scared daughter called me from the airport and stated she had missed her flight back home scheduled @ 8:45 pm on march 22, 2008, perfect just on time for easter..not. The airline stated that she had forfeited her ticket because she had missed her flight.ok she was late, her fault, i agree. She should had been more responsible..remember she's a teenager..she was told her ticket had been forfeited and therefore she would have to pay for another flight at a later date, or use another airline..what???? Of course i spoke with an operator employed with this airline (usa 3000) named joe . Well, when i asked joe for his name he stated " oh don't think you can get me in trouble" so of course i was stunned. I said to joe my daughter is stating that she missed her flight and she cannot get another one and he said that, that was correct. I said to joe i need my daughter to get home please even on the next flight if possible. He said "your daughter won't be coming home tonight". He is horrible and so is this airline. But, hold on it gets worse. I asked for a manager. Joe said ok, hold on. I held on the line for about ten minutes. So you already know joe is explaining to the manager his side of the story and how i am probably an irate customer(not a worried mom). Still i patiently wait because at this point who cares i just want my daughter home.. Hello..she's my here comes margaret the manager and as i stated earlier she has already made up her mind on how she was gonna handle this situation. And it went like this. Maam your daughter missed her flight and therefore she forfeited her ticket furthermore if she wants to return back home on usa 3000 she needs to purchase new tickets. Or travel another airline.. So., no, she does not get to catch the next flight with an additional fee per "whatever they say".. I still can't believe this..i do understand there are policies and thats fine., but what happened to a little compassion.. And at this time 12:36 am i am still trying to get my daughter home...     You must remember you daughther miss her flight, when a booking is done with USA3000 you agree to the airlines contract and policies, airlines are in the business to transport people, not for compassion. When all said and done it is your daugthers responsibility to check in 2 hours or more at the airport for departure.
