US Wellness Chamber of Commerce Negative Ex-Coaches With Ulterior Motives

I've been a Corporate Health Coach and Risk Management Consultant with the US Wellness Chamber as they have received the Grant and grown rapidly. While there have been the occassional growing pains, it is admirable what the are out doing--identifying and mitigating behavioral and lifestyle risk factors of enrolled populations. I am very satisfied.

I see these negative comments pop up but, without exception, these people:
1. Have ulterior motives;
2. Lack a better business model to help create a healthier nation; and
3. Have failed to resolve any alleged grievances through the Chamber's formal process.

My advice? Be careful about listening to cowards who post on the Internet while the rest of us are working dilgently to create a healthier society.

Sue,

Again, I think you must have ulterior motives in your shanagans. The US Wellness Chamber's Grant isn't from ODPHP or HHS and has never been suggested that it is.

Please help explain the Chamber's growth of nationally recognized employers like AAA, Jackson Hewitt, and Sysco Foods.

Please help explain the county government implemented in the Chicago area today or the school district (also in Chicago) kicking off in a few days.

Please help explain the Health Coaches and RMCs who are having success.

Please explain the benefit provided to all these employees as we identify and mitigate their risks.

Also, please don't confuse me with Montgomery as I am no more him than you are.

Stop being a coward and work through issues that you have directly with Chamber rather than unproductively blogging.

Sincerely

Resolved

Why are you calling me Sue? Once again, you seem confused. This is Jenine of Lindstrom Data Solutions.
I posted some information that was given to me from the US Dept of Health and Human Services, which is definitely a legitimate organization.
Who is confused and unproductively blogging? You must have more time now that you have resigned. You write exactly in the same format as Tom Montgomery and the data source of your IPN is saying you are from the same location and same phone as Tom Montgomery. Computer folks are kinda smart like that!

Thoughts?

Organizations outside of these regions are not eligible to apply for the microgrants at this time. Please check this website from time to time for updates on this pilot project.
Unfortunately there are organizations popping up that have hijacked the Healthy People 2010 Grant logo and verbiage and are enticing corporations to implement their programs. One such organization is believed to be the United States Wellness Chamber, a start-up nonprofit (non-profit status unverified) with no oversight committee / leadership. Employers in search of corporate wellness programs, health & wellness professionals and others would be wise to check with the ODPHP & HHS officers mentioned in this post before engaging the programs, services & best practices of such organizations and their recruited representatives.
The ODPHP project officer for this program is Sue Martone. For further information, she can be reached by email at smartone@osophs.dhhs.gov or by phone at [protected].

US Wellness Chamber of Commerce lying and ripping off doctors

I was a sucker for the "consultant" job. I should've seen through the pyramid scheme and done my research. Montgomery's last company, Wellspring, had a huge lawsuit, FBI investigation and is now no longer in existence. He is seeking out people on LinkedIn, Craig's List, and Facebook. This company is not listed with the "Healthy People 2010" grant nor is it listed as a non-profit with the IRS. He is a one man show, there is no company, just an answering service to pose as his "headquarters". Do not give your money to him.

Mr. Montgomery,

My lawyer wanted me to thank you for accepting this thread/bait. He also wanted me to thank you for the company listings. This helps the case and our investigation.

JL

If anyone is reading this thread and a similar situation has happened to you, please file your complaint on www.ftc.gov. The Healthy People 2010 grant is part of the US HHS and is not affiliated in any way with the US Wellness Chamber. You may view info at http://www.healthypeople.gov/default.htm

Why are you calling me Melody? This is Jenine of Lindstrom Data Solutions. Anyhow, there was about a dozen of us that were signing up for this scam but we all backed out at the same time. We got an attorney who found out the FBI, FTC, BBB and IRS all have fraud alerts on this company.

For some reason I can only see small parts of the above. I'm simply searching to see if the Healthy People 2010 grant is for real. I have someone hitting me hard to see if "I'm in". When I dig deeper into the workings of the program it seems like it acts a lot like a multi-level plan. Is it for real, AND do you have to get other people "in" to make money? It says you can learn how to be a coach in one day! I've been through a coaching certification. It took over a year.

Jenine,

It isn't a scam.

Are you completely disconnected from reality? Are you ignoring the new employers that have signed up like AAA, Jackson Hewitt, and Sysco? Are you ignoring the success stories like the RMC/Coach who generated nearly $2k in her first month?

Melody,

You are so wrong and hypocritical. I've been a Corporate Health Coach and Risk Management Consultant with the Chamber and have a personal testimony of their hard work and diligence.

You joined, never finished training, and quit.

The Chamber is passionate about creating healthier workforces across the nation and is, in fact, operating off a Grant.

Choose the right, Melody.

This review was chosen algorithmically as the most valued customer feedback.

Tom Montgomery, owner of the US Wellness Chamber of Commerce, has been scamming chiropractors across the country for the past year. He offers the doctors to become the Corporate Wellness provider for local corporations but in fact all he does is take the doctors money and rips them off. Please everyone stay far away from this company.
