I have been approached by this company and am unsure as well. They said they will find the discrepancies in my loan (for 1% of original loan amount) and give to their law people who will then assign a lawyer at $1000 per month (for about 9 months). I have researched the lawyers, the Founders and everything I can. All seems OK...but they are a newbie company. Basically not enough data to determine. The Rep I talked to was knowledgeable and explained well and answered my questions. I would go for it for sure except for...I am afraid of the process where I am not supposed to talk to the lender once the TRO (temporary restraining order) is filed, which means I'm not supposed to be sending the lender money, correspondence, nothing. That is the only part of this whole thing I am holding back on because at this time, I have never been late in my payments. Problem is, everything is going to change and soon--so I have to do something. Also, 9 months (10 if you include the audit the first month) is a long time to wait to see if you are a winner...almost like having a baby! I was told things would get worse before they got better--but they cannot guarantee that we will win. So what to do...what to do.

Thank you everyone! I have been holding off becoming a customer of these guys and am glad I listened to my gut. They were too positive I would win my case, they kept lowering the cost of the audit and raising the cost of the legal services. George Pulvino keeps trying, but the next time he calls, I am just going to tell him we went with someone else (and I did... me!). I've figured out how to make it all work without losing my home or even being late on one payment. By the time trouble comes-a-knocking, when all is said and done, I will be paying less for my house than if I went with US Loan Auditors/My Legal Service.

My thoughts and prayers go out to all of you who did get scammed, I hope Karma bites them ALL on the behind!

Noooooooo not you Steve. I thought it'd be someone other than you would fall for that head fake. Well if I really was david hood it still wouldn't change the fact that what he did took balls and follow through. Now back to you "Steve". So what did YOU do after you found out you'd been conned the first time? Did you drive from "wherever' to stand in front of the lender that provided you the loan? Actaully let's back track a tad bit further. Were you one of those "cash out to pay off my credit cards and car" refinacers or one of those "zero percent down financed way more house than you couldn't afford" borrowers? Almost done with my coffee so I'm going to have to sum this up, by asking myself and any and all of you if the the only reason you're hear posting is because you really do care about what happened or is you're here because you're angry that the only contribution you made to this entire situation was to play the part of the fool? That probably was a run on or something not gramatically correct but you get my point. Gotta run.

It is sad to say that most of those employees really did know what was going on. Most of them contacted the media after they were let go. Most people that were let go also claimed to the media they had left the company. I can honestly say there was probably a hand full of employees that had no clue about what was going on. Luckydog and Steve, I feel your anger trust me.. Being a former employee myself. I had no idea till I started to research more.. They tried to keep everyone apart and tried to get people to work against eachother... I hope to see you guys at court tomorrow. I pray that the victims get every last cent back and more.

Those ex-employees making threats to us about slander took a gamble to keep working for crooks or quit. The gamble got you a few extra checks, but don't cry since the only job you can get now is with Nationwide loan auditing. I spoke to many employees in June and July, and they heard it all about the scam, but refused to believe it. They were in your face and rude. In other words, they would have drank the kool-aid.

YellowBoy AKA Mr. David Hood, I see you post was set at 6 hours 52 min. In accordance with me signing in you woke up at 11:00 a.m. Is this the time you wake up.? It is not slander or libel when you ask a question. My guess is you are David Hood under a new name, but then again, it's only a question not slander. Let me demonstrate libel...

First, the person must prove that the statement was false. Second, that person must prove that the statement caused harm. And, third, they must prove that the statement was made without adequate research into the truthfulness of the statement.

Adequate research would ask did the person opening up an auditing service, via the internet, to assist a person in foreclosure knowingly knew they were suppose to be licensed and registered in the State of California to assist anyone facing foreclosure.

Mr. Yellowboy, with your fake fraud young man statement, I'd like to see you attempt to find a lawyer and spend as much time as I have to find a lawyer to fight mortgage fraud. GOOD LUCK!

Gamblingbob99,

Can not thank you enough for all your efforts and video posts at
http://www.fightbackinsac.com

What I don't see is how your refund is going to resolve your loan problems. But it is your business to decide what is fair and just. Again thank you for all you have done.

gamblingbob99. AKA Mr. Robert J******* Bravo young man. I saw a copy of their complaint against you. I'm not saying that you can't speak ill of the principals of a company by no means. What I'm trying to convey to some of these indivuals is that they're using employee names. These employess have been found guilty of no crimes. If, in the future, they are denied a job OR lose money or are caused physical harm based on something posted here, they could press complaints board to legally give up the "blogger's" IP and/or additional ifno and then sue based on this. Welcome to CA, the land of lawsuits. I would encourage any and all of you to show up Dec 17th and speak out. Call Kurtis has filed paperwork and has been granted the rights to cover this fiasco. You should take your truck and sign down there too.

greetings USLA did file a lawsuit against me personally I was out there with a huge sign on my truck protesting everyday for weeks. They were out there everyday video taping me, harrassing me and even staged a huge protest against me on a friday. When you tell the truth about the company and its owners it's not slander or libel. They finally realized even after filing a suit against me I was not going away, they settled and dropped the lawsuit. My goal was to get a refund of the money I had payed them and also to let other people know my story so that they could make there own decision about whether or not to hire this company. Mr. Pulvono approached me while I was out there protesting and stated he would never give me a refund no matter how much it cost his company because in his words what his company was doing was totally legal and ethical. I drove from Auburn everyday and spent 6-8 hrs each and everyday out there because I believed what this company was doing was totally at best unethical and I did not want anyone else to suffer as I did and many others.

I usually don't get involved in posts but I find this one a "great" morning read with my coffee. I applaud you all for coming forward and fighting the good fight. We all knew this day would come, but I encourage all of you to be very careful with your posts. By using names you're opening yourselves up to possible lawsuits against yourselves for "Libel and Slander". If this David Hood or Roland or dan whatevern his dam name is want to they could come after you and YOU'D be in the courtroom next to USLA. Keep it up all of you, this con needed to be shut down. Hopfully the people will have their day in court.

ddiner,

Any idea, guess, on how many employees were foreclosed borrowers fighting the cause and how many were in the financial industry such as real estate or ex-mortgage brokers chasing the greed?

One more thing, I want everyone to know that while I worked at USLA, everyone knew about the complaint board website and was reading it. Everyone knew that clients were showing up in the lobby everyday demanding their money back. There was buzz about it all the time. For those people who did not do what they should have done, quit!, shame on them! The turn around at this place was crazy! That is because people were getting smart and feeling like this was a scam! The stories we were getting from management were very vague and unable to verify. Alot of people knew that the State Bar and AG's office were investigating. It is called greed and reflects the times we are in. Fraudulent people all around. Everyone needs to be aware!
Does anyone know what Dan Fleetwood is up to? Haven't seen his name on here at all?

Superior Court will hear the matter regarding the filing of the Bankruptcy to stop the State of California from moving forward with the lawsuit. This is set for 9 o'clock on December 17th Department 54. I think everyone involved with this company who knows they did wrong to the public should be there! They need to go to jail. Channel 13 will probably be there as well. Maybe everyone can tell Kurtis Ming personally "Thank you" for covering this story to help expose these crooks.

For those Fraud Investigators who were still selling this crap referred to as the "Bad Apple" to the public, BEWARE. Really, David, you had to idea? Ummmm, I find that BS! In fact I know personally it is BS. Dont anyone be fooled by his story! You say you are a professional that has been in the business for a long time? Yep, you know. You just quit because everyone saw this coming. DONT BE FOOLED BY HIS WORDS.
If anyone has read the declarations filed in court on this case they will see there were undercover agents going in acting like potential clients. BUSTED REDHANDED.

Thank you for that Luckydog!
As we discussed, I've sent several letters and emails to both the Attorney General and call Kurtis. People need to know that the lower level employees where being sold a bill of goods as well. That is precisely why, I resigned.
As we also discussed, doing a mortgage document audit is not predatory. Selling it as a means of protecting a home owner from foreclosure is.
My intent as a real estate professional is to follow the letter of the law and assist attorneys only, when it come to offering auditing services. I have been in the industry for many years and I've always protected my clients first. As I told you, I'm an open book and have nothing to hide. You're welcome to call me again, anytime you like and I will be upfront and honest with you.

I truly appreciate you calling me this evening.
Sincerely,
David Hood

And somehow by chance you were linked to here Mr. Hood to defend your website. How is that? Were you Google searching your own name under fraud or scam? Or have you always been here observing posting comments debating when USLA was going to get caught?

You have no intention on using the website yet it's posted for anyone to call you for an audit. But then again it was posted yesterday and now it's not. Why is that? Why'd you take it down? Doing maintenance?

Your should be well aware by now that you need to be registered at the attorney generals office to do any kind of foreclosure consulting in the State of California. Did you register when posting the site? Ten bucks for a domain sounds like peanuts compared to the amount you would have made in audits.

You should realize at least by now that peoples homes and their remaining life savings are gone due to this so called financial crisis. Most of all, when savings and the home is gone the relationship and any future a couple might of had is gone too. So yes, when you post a new service that might be in question. You'd better be thinking that we are pissed and we will be coming after you. Not for ourselves but to make sure your not scamming any other elder, mid age, or any young couple under heavy stress struggling to find help.

Hello Complaint Board,

My name is David Hood...

I have nothing to do with any scam office.
It seems rather stupid that I have to defend myself regarding this, but, here it is.
I simply purchased a web domain at godaddy for $9.99…That’s it. It was an impulse buy and I may use it in the future. I have no idea if I’ll ever use it for business. If I someday do, I will be 100% legal and by the book.

The website hosting isn’t even paid for…It was a free trial that came with an order I placed for magnetic refrigerator calendars from Vist Print.com. Check it out if you like!
Since my phone number has been advertised to the entire planet…Feel to call me and I’ll share any facts with you regarding my integrity and my future business plans. Owning a website domain that has the word audit in it, does not mean I’m looking to scam anyone. It doesn’t mean anything. It's a virtual domain...

Those of you that have met me, should know the type of character I possess.
There is no office and no company…Nadda, zilch!
Also, I have no business relationship or connection with Jarrod Lamar or Nick Lucia.
Absolutely no connection…None, nothing.
Somebody has way to much free time...
I understand your concerns, but please check a little deeper before jumping to conclusions. I don’t enjoy having to defend myself from an invisible false attacker.
Pick up the phone, like the old days and discuss your allegations, first…It appears you have my phone number.
Please take note, I resigned from US loan Auditors. I resigned less than a week after being given a 30% raise in salary. If I was out to scam people, I would have stayed on until the wheels fell off. Leaving a job during a recession is not usually advised. I left because, it was the right thing to do.

Again, please contact me directly before publically slandering me on the web.
That’s all I got!
Be well and best wishes,
David Hood

"Cooper suggested homeowners who believe they are entitled to a refund file a claim with the US Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of California"

We requested refunds. We filed with the BBB and you denied wrong doing. We complained to the A.G. office and USLA gets smacked with a lawsuit. Now Cooper suggests we file another claim. How the heck does he think a refund is going to settle the losses already suffered. If USLA was so sharp to find lawyers to fight the lenders then why are they depending on bankruptcy lawyers to bail them out? It's not actually a question here I'm asking. It's all part of their scam. Suffer a few losses, pay a few fines, and open up shop somewhere else.

From the latest news 10 story: "But the bankruptcy attorney representing the two companies told News10 the federal filings represent the best chance for clients to recover money they believe is owed to them because all the companies' assets had been frozen by the state court.

"They are subjecting themselves to the rigorous scrutiny of the bankruptcy court. They want to administer the remaining funds appropriately, " said attorney Austin Cooper.

Cooper estimated as many as 2, 700 homeowners had dealt with the two companies and he insisted most were satisfied with the results.

"There's a whole cadre of people whe were satisfied that it's not a scam, " he said.

Cooper suggested homeowners who believe they are entitled to a refund file a claim with the US Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of California"

Let me say this, BS. "most of the 2700 were satisfied with the results"? After all this, that has to be the dumbest comment I have ever heard. Is that what they are going to argue in court? Will they bring in fake clients to testify that? I have not heard ONE client that was happy, and if there was, that person would have been a poster for usla on every corner. We need to all show up and let the court know how angry we are, USLA is still acting like it's some sort of joke. really got me boiling right now!
