I have been approached by this company and am unsure as well. They said they will find the discrepancies in my loan (for 1% of original loan amount) and give to their law people who will then assign a lawyer at $1000 per month (for about 9 months). I have researched the lawyers, the Founders and everything I can. All seems OK...but they are a newbie company. Basically not enough data to determine. The Rep I talked to was knowledgeable and explained well and answered my questions. I would go for it for sure except for...I am afraid of the process where I am not supposed to talk to the lender once the TRO (temporary restraining order) is filed, which means I'm not supposed to be sending the lender money, correspondence, nothing. That is the only part of this whole thing I am holding back on because at this time, I have never been late in my payments. Problem is, everything is going to change and soon--so I have to do something. Also, 9 months (10 if you include the audit the first month) is a long time to wait to see if you are a winner...almost like having a baby! I was told things would get worse before they got better--but they cannot guarantee that we will win. So what to do...what to do.

Thank you everyone! I have been holding off becoming a customer of these guys and am glad I listened to my gut. They were too positive I would win my case, they kept lowering the cost of the audit and raising the cost of the legal services. George Pulvino keeps trying, but the next time he calls, I am just going to tell him we went with someone else (and I did... me!). I've figured out how to make it all work without losing my home or even being late on one payment. By the time trouble comes-a-knocking, when all is said and done, I will be paying less for my house than if I went with US Loan Auditors/My Legal Service.

My thoughts and prayers go out to all of you who did get scammed, I hope Karma bites them ALL on the behind!

just to help those out who keep asking me who i am, and how do i "seem" to know so much about this company and its owners

Sacramento is a small place. If you went to Sac State its even smaller

And if your friends with people in the community who get ripped off,
and happen to take a few classes on LAW, maybe hang out with people in the DAs office... you learn things about finding info...

Hang out at the same restaurants, and "Casinos", and clubs as those who work at USLA,

Even just sound innocent and call the company and ask... who the owner is... and what other companies they have owned...throw in a little Google!

You can learn so much about who your up against.

Just something to think about.

So i have started calling the SACRAMENTO branch of USLA

I call and ask them what i can expect and how an audit can help... you would be surprised as to what i hear... Keep in mind i let the person on the other End know that the call is being recorded... they dont seem to care... must be new people or something.

I just hope Shane knows that he can get into a lot of trouble for that kind of stuff. i wonder what he is going to say when someone from the local news stations calls and asks the same questions..."please understand that this is going to happen soon" just a warning to those who say this kind of stuff to people on the phones...

be careful who you "pitch" and what you say... make sure you dont say things like:

"we can save your home and stop foreclosure"

"you dont have to pay your mortgage...if your in litigation"

" there is a mortgage Pause payment system"

"You will get your home down to fair market value at fair market rate"

!best one i heard so far!...

Here is the weird thing... when i call the main company in Rancho Cordova ...they dont tell me the same thing, as a matter of fact...

So can one branch do more than the other branch...
these things dont make sense?

If you dont believe me then call for yourself and see what they can do for you!

Just "food for thought"

For you that think usla is going to sue complaintsboard and get all the user names is silly. Is usla the only company here? We are not communist yet. When this country starts to silence those that have a complaint about a company like this that takes money up front, tells everyone the same thing that they have a strong case and will win in court, but most cases are settled before court (modification) and actually just shops for an attorney and nothing happens except they just keep collecting, then I'm packing up. Fraud can be found in almost every single loan, but that doesn't mean you will win in court and your NOT and your not informing people that. Deception. Lies. Why has not ONE person ever wrote about their case being settled and being positive?

To "need help" now "usla employee": Your always the one calling out names, for a long time you were posting as a customer, did they like you so much that you got a job there? what do u do for them? Post your name and private phone number, I and others have many questions for you. We will call you if you like. Just like J LaMar posted as a customer on the 2nd page, but he works there. Deception. Lies. And what your doing by calling out names and phone numbers can be taken as threatening. I remember reading your posts, you are full of hatred and are unable to reason.

You see Need Help/ USLA Employee it's you guys all over again re-posting the same comments and as always you are trying to change the subject with illegal aliens. Well if a lawsuit has been filed against gambling bob than what's the hold up on your slander suit. Please! Please! file the suits. Speed up the process and save us the costs and headaches . I'd love to be listed on either one of the suits. Your talking to people that you filed them with lies, stole their savings, and cost them any other possible chances to saving or selling their homes. If Barker set the employees up as independent contractors then I believe your in for a world of hurt having no licenses acting as foreclosure consultants.

this is a complaint board where the comments are made on the bases of wide speculation...similar to someone calling a radio show to say how they feel about a certain political party...

As far as subpoenaing documents and such... how is that a bad thing for most people on here..

Most of the post i read on here are trying to get some one to help them get there money back.

The best way to be heard is from a judge...so... why would you not want a lawsuit if you had been ripped off by a company.

I honestly think that you "notfunanymore" are miss informed or using scare tactics to prevent others from saying what they need to say about there experience with USLA... its there right to have and speak there opinion... even if its negative or bias.

Does that make sense...

i hope so.

greetings I have one profile and I don't think this is funny and I do take this very seriously. This company is trying to silence me by the law suit they filed. I will continue to protest this company because my position has not changed. I tried to settle this matter weeks ago I made a counter offer to Jeff Pulvino if they kept $1, 000.00 for the audit and refunded my wife and I $2, 000.00 we felt this was fair.Mr. Pulvino asked me to e-mail him with my answer and I did 3 different times with no response. In my e-mail I explained to Mr. Pulvino I would agree to sign a statement that I would not protest /blog and drop all complaints against this company in the future. He completely ignored me and It is obvious to me they do not want to reasonable. I have all 3 e-mails that prove I in fact tried to resolve this issue.

Audit Joker,

What I read on that attorneys website was that the burden of proof is NOT on the Plaintiff. It is on the defendant. And either way I don't have time or the money to defend anything. I just know I'm not saying anything anymore.

I heard they were taking pictures of gambling bob and obviously gambling bob was taking pictures too cause it seems to me that that fightbackinsac website gave Us Loan audit proof and so does this website and a few others I have posted on. I just think most of us are on here cause we don't like them, which is fine but I don't dislike them enough to defend myself against a lawsuit. I just wanted to give people some more food for thought. Speaking of that...Now I'm hungry lol

notfunanymore,

I do like your post... and can see your point.

But lets look at this from realistic standpoint.

If some one was to sue a person on this complaint board for saying that "said" company is a scam, or ripping people off... what would happen?

Well, lets think about this logically... then they would be served, and they would have to defend them self's in court. Ok if that happens ... then that company would have to prove that what is being said about them is false... and the person being sued would have to prove that what there saying about that company it TRUE... so the defense would be truth...RIGHT.

So if someone really feels like they were taken advantage of or "scammed" wouldn't they want to be sued... that way they could prove to a judge that they we wronged.. and then counter sue for damages... and so forth...

Just my thoughts on this matter.. i could be wrong..

I guess we will have to wait and see... I hope i dont get sued for trying to help you guys. lol

Ok guys this was fun for about a min, but I have changed my profile & screenname now and am going to ask complaints board to delete all my previous posts from my former profile. I found this lawsuit against Robert Jackson here https://services.saccourt.com/indexsearchnew/CVFLPRDetail.aspx?Details=CV%7C2010-00082304%7CJACKSON, %20ROBERT%20L%7C01/01/2010%7C12/31/2010%7CName%7CAsc%7C. I don’t know a ton about the law, but I use to be a legal assistant (in bankruptcy law which is not the same) but it seems to be the owners of US Loan Auditor are not playing around. I don’t have the money to fight a lawsuit but I do know for a fact that they will be able to subpoena all the user profiles here to see if Jackson only has 1 profile here or many different ones. I’m a little scared over some of the stuff I posted and some of the stuff I see being posted now because most of what we are saying is just “guessing” (like how many clients they have and how much money and what they say) or really does fall under the codes from what I can tell. Look it up here http://www.ivanhoffman.com/defamation.html. If these people are a scam then this would be STUPID to sue him because it opens them up to huge liability if they really were scamming people. I’m just confused now and don’t want to be a part of this anymore. This really concerns me because scammers don’t usually sue people, they try and hide, scammers don’t usually want a Judge and Jury pouring through their business. Does anyone know if they can sue all of us if they subpoena the records or is it limited to just the “Jackson” case?

USLA Employee,

sorry i took so long to get back to you.

"Im not sure what you mean when you say what can they get once the complaint is filed. please elaborate. Thanks"...

I was writing too fast on that question. I apologize...
What i meant to ask is: what is told to your customers about what they can expect from an audit... and from pursuing litigation by using My Us Legal? what expectations are set for them... And in your opinion...If you will... What is the purpose of doing an audit and suing the bank? how can it help?

Ok, more things to think about... WAMU CLIENTS NEED TO READ

Lets look at what cases v. banks that are having a huge amount of trouble in court.

JP Morgan/Chase... is covered by the FDIC... per the contract, Chase/JP Morgan does not obtain successor liability for what WAMU was originally responsible for. Because WAMU was obtained via corporate take over.. and forced a BK.

The only way this case is going to go through that is to say that contract is void. and prove it.

so if you had a wamu loan...might want to ask more info from USLA
see what your auditors say about that.

More law info to come.

AyatollahGondola,

In regards to those fees you mentioned, the 695, is there "extensive, In depth, Forensic AUDIT" fee. seems a little cheep to be doing all this work... and since most of these "auditors" are Ex-Mortgage /loan officers... you would think that they know something about loan fraud right?

as far as 695$ goes... does an attorney ever review these audits first.
and if so... how much time is spent?

now they could say that the other half of the audit goes for that purpose...

But they "Us Loan Auditors" has a satellite branch... in Sacramento that charges the same fees... but only pays the 695$ so those guys use the money they make to pay for expenses on running that branch and paying for mailers...hmmmmm...

so does it really only cost 695$ to create this "magical audit"? WOW

got more info for you to think about soon.

It would help everyone if someone can post all the organization names and phone number so that either current clients, past clients, current employees or past employees and even potential clients that stumpled onto this website well doing their our due deligence investigating their future investment (hiring USLA). Maybe a number for the Bar and one for Attorney Generals office, didn't I see that they were investigating as well. Why hasn't the Media jumped on this?

Ok everyone,

I've been thinking this over and there may be a response that people can do that might have a more immediate effect. Unfortunately though, I don't know who owns this complaint board and don't want to risk having all of the work done here just disappear. Plus, I remember reading something earlier here that mentioned that this isn't supposed to be chat room or something to that effect.

So, if you will indulge me a bit, visit my local Sacramento forum and consider posting the info I'm looking for:

http://www.fightbackinsac.com/forums/showthread.php?t=7454

I don't care if you copy it and repost it here, but I already manage 4 forums, and the addition of this one which I have to learn all over again is a little too much for me.

USLA Employee,

"Food for thought." I knew I heard that expression somewhere before. Got it. Need Help page 15. It's you good buddy! I thought we lost you. Say, did you ever get that audit done? So you are an employee after all. Now don't try to deny it because your starting to do repeat that real clients please post dribble. How am I? Well I got a call from the Department of Real Estate today denying my complaint. You see it's three years from the origination of the loan to file a complaint pertaining to the loan and it's one year to file a complaint once you discover fraud. But as you can see I wasted that year here with you. No matter the Department of Real Estate only has the authority to take licenses. But then again, I called back explaining in detail my own loan problems and my experience with you. So she said she'll review and get back to me. Also today, I got the feeling that I may receive more statues of limitations answers from others so just to make sure I'm doing all I can I called the FBI today to. The stop fraud.gov website. They said a representative will call back. You see Need Help, it's not that I'm wiped out and lost everything because people are just too greedy to make more of a commission. I know I'll survive. It's all about the financial crimes that ruin lives and cause the victims to go out and commit other crimes in order to survive. Do any of you employees ever think about cause and effect after-wards. Anyway, if and when all becomes true, you had the chance to help the little old lady across the street but instead you beat her down and stole her purse.

This is of interest. The following is an excerpt from their contract with one of their agents. These are the people you meet first, and they sell the company service to you. They are getting nearly half the primary fee that you pay. And they refund the money to you, the agent gets charged back.

"Independent Contractor is to be compensated on a commission basis only. If the Indcpendent
Contractor's efforts result in ihe client ordering a loan audit through US Loan Auditors and legal
processing through US Legal Advisors, the commission shall be 50% of the up front fee charged
to the borrower for the loan audit less administrative expenses (currently S695), to be paid within
30 days of the payment from the Chen! and clearing US Loan Auditor's account.
By way of example, if the audit fee was $2695. the resulting commission would equal $1000"

I'm personally not a big fan of small claims court anymore. While it might be a half baked method of settling small neighborly disputes, I don't see it as much good for use against a monied opponent who has questionable or no scruples. If you win, they can appeal, and bring their attorney. If you lose, you lose in totality, and you may not be able to litigate your claim again should their be a class action or similar suit on the public's behalf.
But...I have no knowledge of your situation, and that may make a difference

You would have a hard time serving any of the owners, they are used to hiding. Rats run! But if you want to try it, just announce where and when, we will come. Try taking the fraud agent to court. He or she are the one that spewed the lie. Who was your agent? Let's start making names public. That's what the usla employee said to do. It's his idea.

My husband and I have been working with this company since December 2009. Until June 2010. Nothing has been done with our case. We have been paying $1, 250.00 a month for nothing. The attorney they appointed to us left the company and so did the auditor that was originally helping us. I just recently found out that this company is a scam and that they are being investigated by the State Bar. They are in alot of trouble and people have been asking for thier money back. Do not get involved with them. We pulled out from the company immediately and asked for our money back but this company will not return the $4, 725.00 we payed plus the 2 months of $1, 250.00. We are planning to file a lawsuit against them. Has anyone else heard of them being investigated by the State Bar?

Save us some time, what is ur phone number? I'm thinking your that J LaMar idiot that keeps posting. And now everyone knows your phone and address in Roseville. LaMar: did u get that home through equity flips? Who ever you are, the game that your company is helping people was exposed long ago and has been over for months. Even the Looney insane owner, Shane barker has giving up claiming that here. And your little talk about how your audits works is bogus, any loan has fraud, what matters is : can you use it to win a court case? NO YOU Can't ! I am very disappointed right now with Usla. Since September of last year we have been dealing with them and there have been promises that they did not keep. Now my house went up on the court house steps and the banks bought it back and now they are getting ready to go after an eviction. They promised to re-do the loan and not to worry about paying the mortgage because they would be able to cloud the title and do a restraining order. I want to fight back. I saw this on Channel 10 last year and thats why we went with them, we had no idea about this website until recently. We have been trying to get in touch with our attorney. It is just a mess. I want my money back. I have not stop paying yet, but after reading all of these comments I need to speak to someone. All of these stories are so similar. Has anyone filed a class action suit yet?

Why wont USLA give back the original loan documents to the clients that dont want to proceed? These documents do not belong to USLA and by law you have 48 hours to return them when asked for in writing!

Our audits look for Tila, respa, proper disclosures and other violations of state and federal consumer protection laws...the list goes on. Our Auditors have around 80 yrs combined experience in the mortgage and underwriting industries. The things that help us determine who should get an audit are the actual Loan Documents and the Clients' Story Of the whole loan process. Im not sure what you mean when you say what can they get once the complaint is filed. please elaborate. Thanks
