U.S. Cellular / United States Cellular cell service

I used to have ATT but recently moved over to US cellular. They do not provide good cell service by any means. Everywhere I go I am in "extended" service which means it takes a long time to load anything. I usually end up giving up and not even trying to load what I'm doing. I am getting really frustrated. I am very displease with this service and can not wait to go back to ATT.

U.S. Cellular / United States Cellular unauthorized porting of phone number to t-mobile - fraud

My son's phone number was ported without our knowledge on 9/3/2018 to T-Mobile and his Identity was stolen. The caller hijacked the account and Pin number and pretended to be me on the phone to make these changes. U.S. Cellular cancelled my son's phone with no call to me to confirm, I did not sign a new contract or discuss new payment arrangements. This person went out and got loans, used his debit information to make purchases and still we don't know what else has been done. U.S. Cellular has not been accountable and will not help to get the line back! They keep transferring me to every department possible and made us drive 3 hours to a T Mobile Agent to resolve the matter which did not happen! Who can I talk to get results. I have been a great paying customer for over 20 years and can't believe this poor service. I would also like to see more security when calling for any information on the account besides a Four Digit Number Code so this does not happen to anyone else. Please advise!

After spending 10 minutes on phone with 1st US Cellular customer asst., I was transferred to "technical asst." - purgatory for customers who need more than poorly equipped and woefully under trained call center staff can handle.

Unbelievably, I waited 20 morenminutes before finally hanging up. The seeming lack of concern for clients baffles me. I imaging the majority of their revenue comes from returning/repeat/current customers-WHY WOULD YOU NOT WANT TO TAKE CARE OF YOUR BEAD AND BUTTER? My issue remains unresolved...on to more frustration tomorrow...

U.S. Cellular / United States Cellular return policy and customer service

Bought an Otterbox case on the website. Case had some fit issues but I figured I'd give it a try. After a few weeks it had gotten worse and actually split so I decided to return it. US Cellular has only a 15 day return policy and they wouldn't do anything for me. I dont want a warranty replacement because I'm not impressed with the case. I want to return the case. No one in business has a meager 15 day return policy. They are all 30 days no questions asked. US cellular wants to F its customers and that's what they did.

Ive been saving for an iphone 6s plus, I put how much was needed to get the iphone on a prepaid visa the card the sales woman told me to get! This happened friday and its tuesday and still no phone and she order a 6s plus friday its monday! Monday right before nooni get call and says my card. Didn't go through but they ssure took at. 25.00 and because of the card she told me to get took out 7.00 and now im not getting the iphone I worked hard and saved my money for :I had the amount of money for the the phone I wanted! I don't want the 6s and she tried pushing that off on me right when I walked in!: ($6.00 dollar short because of a card that your sale respresentive told me to get! She order the 6s but I dont want that! I want the. 6s plus. Thats what I went in there to buy! This happen in the store of mcalester oklahhoma.! Not happy at all! Can u do something?

U.S. Cellular / United States Cellular billing and sales

My family had been members of US Cellular since the early 90's. They've overcharged my account multiple times where I had to take time out off my day to go to the store to get it fixed. They sell products they don't stand behind ( they'll tell you to call the company and they have nothing to do with it), but they sure work damn hard to get you to buy these products. I went in the other day to purchase another phone the sign said it was $90 and I get to sit down and the RUDEST CSR I've ever dealt with tells me "Well, the computer says it's $150." Do NOT use this company it's a total joke.

U.S. Cellular / United States Cellular terrible customer service

I work 12 hour days.
Go home.
Sleep.
Back to work.

I have zero time to go into a stupid us cellular store and wait in line to ask a super simple question.

When I wad shopping for a new phone plan
Us cellular bragged their customer service was the best.
2 different agents gave me their business card and told me to call or email any time for anything.

Well I have contacted both of them by email and text message.

And I have not gotten any response back.

This is ridiculous and unacceptable.

Never buy from us cellular.

U.S. Cellular / United States Cellular refund for overpayment of $237.64

I have been on the phone a total of 45 minutes trying to get back a payment I sent to US Cellular by mistake. The first rep in Financial services said that my refund would most likely not be returned and would be held to take care of future billings. I explained that this was unacceptable and that I wanted a full refund because US Cellular takes the monthly payment from my checking account. I asked to speak to the first reps supervisor and was instead transferred to Cameron, Solution Consultant. After another 15 minute conversation, I asked for an email to verify that the refund would be sent in a timely manner and was told that it would not be possible to receive a confirmation email.
US Celular has become more and more like the hated cable company, Charter/Spectrum. Shame on you for not listening to or helping your "valued customers".
I will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and the State of Wisconsin about this matter.

So first i've been us cellular customer for over 15 years I got promotional card for upgrading was not told it expires I put it in my wallet for christmas gifts went to spend my 234 dollar no they won't except called customer service on back card will not send new one i'm done with my business here this is pitful. Ha after all the money I spend there you will loose are business

U.S. Cellular / United States Cellular ordering a phone gone wrong

I ordered the iPhone 8 plus silver 256. I received the iPhone 8 Gold 256. I noticed before leaving the store my paperwork showed just the 8 and not the plus but when I asked the lady confirmed she had ordered the plus. I also bought the 8 plus protective screen and when she grabbed that for me right before we left it was the plus so I was sure she had ordered the right phone. When the wrong phone came I called customer service because I am a new mom and did not want to have to bring my 3.5 month old out. The second or third person I talked to was finally able to help and he activated the iPhone 8 and said he had to do the 15 day guarantee swap thing and I paid the taxes on the plus again and was supposed to receive it within a couple days. Couple days go by no phone. I call customer service and talked to multiple people. At one point I was told the issue was on ups's end and not us cellular so I called ups (which if you ever have done so trying to get to a human is a pain in the [censor]) just to finally be told it was not on their end, us cellular had requested to have it sent back. I called customer service again and explain that and was told I needed to go to the store. I don't have time to go to the store and wait a good hour there. I pump in order to feed my child and drive a truck that gets 9mpg. I explained that and was reassured I wouldn't have to go into the store, a shipping label would be emailed to me I could print it off and send the phone back and it would all be good. I head to town because I don't have a printer just to get there and realize I have no email. I call customer service explain the situation and get told that emailing return labels is no longer allowed and they aren't sure why I was told that so they are going to mail it. Whatever no big deal, besides the fact that I still have not received one. I finally got everything lined up so I could go to the store which ended up being more of a waste of my time. They were able to switch me back to my iPhone 6 so I can send the wrong phone back, which I'm still not sure why was activated to begin with. (I was told by one customer service representative she would call back and we could do all that over the phone.. when she did call it was after an up every hour with the baby night so I asked her to call at a later time and never received a call). I was told a box with the shipping label was going to be expedited. Great! Besides the fact that that was last Monday and I have yet to receive that! I did receive an electronic shipping label which the guy explained I would and that would have the tracking number. I asked "Do I need to print this off" and he said "No, the box will have everything you need on it all you have to do is put the phone in it and put it in your mailbox or drop it off at the post office" and i said "okay just checking because I do not have a printer at home". To make matters better, once I do print off the shipping label and am able to send the wrong phone back, the money I paid the first time is going to be refunded to the first card used. I did not have a card with me as my fiancé and I use the same one and my dad (account holder) does not own one but I did have cash so I paid the woman working the cash and she used her own card. She no longer works at the store so I have no idea how I'm supposed to get the refund for that instead of her. I'm assuming I'm just out of the money since the paperwork shows I paid with that card and doesn't explain I paid cash and the worker used her own, as I'm assuming that's frowned upon. I've worked in customer service so I try not to be a [censor]. I get that mistakes happen, but this has been the worst experience.

Also living in rural wi (almond) first-half the time it says I have no cellular service, can't use phone! Only 2 gigs, ither companies give 4! (its not 1980!) second-raped with iphone, "free" phone cost $30 xtra bucks for 3 months, supposed to get cheaper bill then but nooo, greedy fools still overcharging me when I should be paying less now! I truly hate you, us cellular, I wish you'd go bankrupt! On a fixed income and you have ruined my whole plan! No service, but huge bill each month... For what?!?!?

Going on 3 years and just took me 45 minutes to get signal hopefully I can quick type complaint...quit selling cellphones to wautoma Wisconsin rural areas when it's hard to get a signal. I have complained several times and I'm told to buy an antenna.
Why should I have to buy an antenna? Just proves the complaint that signal strength is bad in this area.. I'm getting frustrated for getting no help and I pay for this every month. I getting to the point I want a landline and refund if us cellular doesn't fix my reception and signal issues..1x and one bar most the time on a 3 or 4G phone service? Pathetic!

U.S. Cellular / United States Cellular no phone for 2 weeks!

I have been with USC for over 15 years. I am very disappointed with them and LG to the point I'm considering changing to a new company. On May 30, my phone went unresponsive. Called USC, they could not help me. They said my phone was disabled by the manufacturer due to recent updated. Apparently, LG recently did a update and it has cause problems with some smartphones not responding. So, I have to return my phone to LG & wait for 2 weeks for them to fix it. Nobody offers a temporarily phone. WOW! No phone for at least 2 weeks & it's not even my fault. Something is seriously wrong to leave your customers with no way of communicating with your family.

U.S. Cellular / United States Cellular service with phone repair/no loaner phones

Spent literally 5 hours weds. May 17th trying to find out how to file a claim to get a I phone broken screen replaced under the new insurance with apple care/assurant/us cellular.

First, when we took out this newer insurance (that cost's more by the way) it was sold as such a great thing because if it is just the screen that needs replaced it would be a $29 deductible versus $175. What they failed to tell you if that they can not fix it on site, they have to send it away for at least a week and in the meantime you have "no" phone... As they do not provide loaner phones anymore.

They advised if we had a spare phone they could activate it while we waited but of course it has to be a "us cellular" phone. I don't know about you, but usually we do not have a spare phone around as the reason we got a new phone to begin with was because the old one no longer works. (installment plans now being as long as they are).

I called assurant first who referred me to apple care. She advised me when I asked that they could fix it on site and have it back in hand the same day. When I drove all the way there (23 mi) however was told that they have to send it in and it will be 1 week and that I would have to go back to us cellular to get a loaner. I had to keep my phone at this point as no other means of communication so I drove back to us cellular (6 mi), they advised they do not do loaners but they could activate an old phone if we had one. (17 mi) back home with no results. We found an old phone, called us cellular to activate and spent 2 hours on the phone trying to get this to work only to realize the phone was an iwireless phone and they could only activate us cellular phones of which we had none.

To date we are still sitting with a phone with a broken screen that we pay insurance for but can not get fixed because we can not go without no phone.

We made an arrangement to pay our bill not telling us that there is a 25 dollar per phone fee and now they have multiple other charges as well. So every two weeks we have been charged an additional 100 for 4 phones, and now we are trying to file a grievance and the customer service rep on the phone will not give us a number to do so. I have now filed one with the FCC, plus if you make an arrangement with the auto pay robot, this will not save you from the fees. It would be nice if they had a disclaimer prior to doing that. I will now be switching carriers and will probably go with AT&T.

I can't believe how much money you guys are wanting for the smart phone these days... You used to sell them for a penny! So now you want to set us a thirty month pament plan for them but here's the catch, they won't work before youre done paying them off! This is literally rape to your paying loyal customers. We've been with your service for 15 years and we're about ready to go somewhere else. You really need to take that ad off of pandora about the free s8... Oh yeah, just left out the part that the customer has to trade their s 6 or 7 in... Too bad we all have 4s and 5s! How convenient us cellular! Such a scheme of a company!

U.S. Cellular / United States Cellular iphone 7

I purchased the jet black iPhone 7 on April the 15th 2017. It started having problems. The phone would get hot while it was charging, battery would drain quickly, apps froze and the phone would freeze. I exchanged the phone on April the 24th and a day latter I had the same problems with the new phone coupled with a new problem. Half the time people can not hear me when I am talking! It is still under the 15 days and I have all ideas that I was given a referbished phone and not a brand new one like I payed for! That is not right! I paid a big down payment and will end up paying $800 when it's all said and done. I want an in store exchange for the bad phone they gave me. I want what I am paying for which is a brand new perfect iPhone 7! Make it right US cellular!

The guy that was helping me needed help and he ignores hem like Iam not there I was there first and he is all talking to some one else he won't help us I was there for 3 hr and I couldn't take my phone that maniger doesn't no how to be a maniger I should of cancelled my line I lost one hour of work because he didn't help me this was today the 22 march i should of asked for a free phone like I had his time maybe I should cancel my line 'someone should talk to hem ...my name is my name is Blanca adame

I went into the store (agent location) today and was speaking with the Manager, in the middle of the conversation about price plans she asked was I interested in stating services or not because she had her lunch on her desk. I was highly offended and was looking for plans for my business. I told her that I wasn't interested after her comment and the next words out her mouth was the worst thing a manager ever said to me and that was to go to her competitors up the street (Verizon) There's no way these type of people should be able to run a business.

U.S. Cellular / United States Cellular my bill.

My bill last month was $233. This month it is $502. I am charged $25 per line (2) for reconnect fee. Last month I was charged $100 reconnect fee. My service is disconnected 2 days before I pay my bill every month. I am ready to leave your company. I was with ntelos for over 1 year and never had any issues. The reason I am with us cellular is due to sprint took over ntelos and sprint does not pick up at my house. But I have been looking at another company to switch to due to the pricing and that my bill is suppose to be around 150 a month and it is always more.
