US Bank mobile deposit

Approximately 930am on 7/7/18 I mobile deposited a check for the amount of $1, 138. The first $200 was available almost immediately. I waited for the rest ti clear and it did not so I called customer service to find out why and was told it would clear Monday. It is now Monday and my paycheck has still not cleared so I called again and I'm not told I won't have the funds until tomorrow. I've never had this much problem or run around before about a check. You guys have held MY MONEY for 3 days now and I was also told I have to bring my account current today or I'm gonna get more fees added. K shouldn't have to because I was told I would have the funds today. This has ruined my entire weekend because i was counting on my paycheck for things.

US Bank checking

A few weeks ago I work up to my checking account being negative $221 due to a DBA charge of $366.14. I called immediately once I found out as I was unaware of this charge and I received no notification. Because of this charge I got hit with 3 NSF fees which was credited back to my account. However I already had pending charges on their prior to being notified of this charge and I was charged an additional 4 NSF fees. I've been on the phone for hours trying to get this resolved. I found out it was from an old checking account I had from 2014. However i never received any notification that this was going to be charged to my account. I found out the notification was sent to an old address. My concern is that you have records of my new checking account which is attached to my new addesss however you sent the notice to my old address why? If I was properly notified I would have made sure there were funds in the account. Also you had access to charge my new checking account yet u couldn't send the notice to my new address? I feel that you just decided to charge me this after having this account open with you since December so you can make money off of the fees. I have no problem paying for that charge but I'm very upset that I had a total of 7 NSF fees because of this and only 3 of them were waived this is ridiculous. I also received a copy of the notice finally and it has a date on the letter of 6/26 and in the letter it says my account will be charged on 6/26. How is this notification? I'm requesting that you review the situation and waive the remaining 4 fees please thank you.

US Bank service

Hi I am a US Bank customer. I have had a problem with one of your tellers Jasmine Jones, at my local branch located at 2527 Guernville Rd Santa Rosa CA 95401 . She is very rude whenever I come in the branch, which is not that often, she glares at me when I walk in and is not very helpful when I need assistance. For example I tried to cash a check that had already been deposited, I had forgotten I signed up for a bank account through my employer. She didn't give me any advise on what to do she was rather short with me and threw my check on the counter when she gave it back to me. The other day as I was walking past the bank from the hardware store she drove past me and glared at me like it was a problem that I live in this neighborhood. She has closed her window when I walk in the branch and opened up the moment I was helped. She makes me feel extremely unwelcome when I do have to use bank services. I have never spoken to this teller outside of the branch and the few times we have spoken has been about my account with US Bank. When I recently asked for a number to file a complaint at I was given a
24hour banking hotline

I had overdraft fees from a depositing a check that unfortunately bounced. I was charged 5 overdraft fees. Called and spoke to a wonderful woman that helped me out. She then informed that if I mad deposit to cover outstanding deficit and I did. I was then charged and extended overdraft fee. I called "Customer" service and everyone I spoke with refused to honor what the previous employee told me. So if they make a mistake, it's "oh well, they should have never said that." If I tell a customer in my business and it was not correct, we would still need to honor that promise and the employee would suffer the consequences for making a claim they shouldn't have. What ever happened to customer service. Well I guess US Bank can now fall into the category of Wells Fargo, Chase and Bank of America, for over charging customer service. I will be looking to work with a local credit union that values it customers and is community oriented.

US Bank freezing of my checking account

I was a 15 or 20 year customer of USBANK. I have two mortgages and had a recent car loan with us bank. The car loan was taken out in December for about $13, 000 on a $30, 000 car. After about 4 or 5 months Dave Lieberman of the Minnetonka branch called me and said he needs the title. I said I didn't know where it was and would look for it. I talked to him again and told him I couldn't find the title. He told me look again. He called on Monday 6/18/18 and left a message. "Steve, this is Dave Lieberman, give me a call". I was busy when I got the call but saw it and then forgot about it and didn't call. I got another call on Friday 6/22/18 with the same message. No urgency, nothing about a problem just give me a call. I was in Wisconsin at our cabin putting in our dock and didn't have my phone (water and phones don't mix). When I got the message it was after bank hours. The next day I went to the gas station and my debit card was declined. Because I didn't return Dave's phone call (the same day he called) he got pissed and froze my checking account. I can't believe that my funds could be frozen for such a trivial reason. I had to have my wife drive the 120 miles to where I was and bring some cash so I could get gas to get home. My account had more than twice what I owed on the car loan and I had already paid off half of the 3 year loan in about 6 months. If he would have told me there was a problem I would have just paid it off which is what I did when I met with the bank on Monday morning. Of course I will be cancelling my account and have already opened an account at another bank. I believe this was a serious abuse of power and will be contacting every bank regulatory agency that I think would be interested.

By your own account, you ignored him for four days, not one. Calls from banks are important, you don't just blow them off and completely ignore them. The bank had no idea what your intentions were, since you couldn't be bothered to communicate with them.

Don't get pissed at the bank because you're too lazy to pick up the phone for a quick and simple call.

US Bank fremont branch bank

Today I had a very bad experience at US bank Fremont, CA, 94539 location, the manager was very rude. Her name was Ariyana and I don't know the full name because she was not wearing her name tag. Aren't the people working in Bank supposed to wear their name tag? And she said the machine was not working and was very rude and there was just one person on the counter to help and it took me lot of time standing and waiting for my turn, so I closed my account. US bank you lost one customer. Please train your employees to be polite to the customers.

US Bank overdraft fees

According to US bank I overdrafted my account when I made a purchase at smiths for $7.73 and then again with a 99 cent apple storage charge, resulting in two $36 fees. According to my app and usbanks website my account had $23 in it when I went to smiths and $16 after I made the $7.73 purchase. I called customer service several times and even went down to the branch to get clarification. I payed the $72 in overdraft fees to avoid anymore and will be closing the account as soon as my pending transactions clear. I will never bank with US bank again, they are crooked and their customer service is horrible.

US Bank deposit in branch

On Saturday afternoon 6/26, I went into the Fairfield Ca Safeway location to deposit a $200 check. I was helped by Tina. I couldn't remember my account number so I gave my deposit slip, $200 check & debit card and told her that I wanted to deposit to my checking account. She processed it & gave me a deposit slip. On Saturday evening, I checked online banking and noticed no deposit issued or pending. So I decided to visit the branch today to clear things up. I was helped by the same person, Tina. I told her that the check wasn't deposited to my account and that my slip shows a different account number. After she checked, she found that she deposited the check to my dad's account, who has a different last name as me. She said she's going to try to fix it. Kept on trying but system didn't work. I got extremely frustrated that your agent would deposit to my dad's checking account not mines when I specifically asked her to do deposit to my account. She tried to call the branch manager a few times to no avail. After a few tries, she finally figured it out. My concern is, your agent made a huge mistake. She didn't verify the information during the deposit. She needs more training! Also that a manager or lead need to be there to help through out the whole business day! Why would an inexperienced agent be left there on her own, not knowing how to correct an error without any kind of support. It was eventually fixed, but with her fidgeting with the system. My deposit may be a small amount but with this mistake, how can your I trust your company with our deposits or other accounts? Can you reassure that this person gets reprimanded, get better training and support? A response would be appreciated. I may be reached by email [protected]@gmail.com.

US Bank checking acct

US bank screwed me big time costing me money and now chek systems has me owing these thiefs money and I can't get a good checking acct. I reported it to consumer affairs but as of date no reply. I made a deposit of 18000.00 around June 7, 2014. I ask one of tellers how long they would hold the check and was told 1- 5 days or not at all if it was a corp check which it was. Finally after several days I called Fifth Third Bank in Cincinnati Ohio and was told that they had processed the check days ago. 10-28-14 they started charging over draft charges on a few pennies being short. A female employee advised me to close my account. They would refund the money and a few days later they would do it again. I had put two bills online and they duplicated the two payments causing me to go into overdraft again. They cheat and lie and still and I'm offer it. I want Chek systems to take me off their list now.

US Bank banking fees/customer service

Unfortunately I had a check be returned and I occurred $72 worth of fees as well as had my account closed with no notice. When I went to a branch they were very rude and said they were unable to help me, that I had to call fraud. When I called Freud they were again very rude and basically said they can do nothing for me that I had to contact my home branch. Finally I got through to my home branch after all that trouble and they said they would help get my account reopened but that I still had to pay the nearly $100 worth of fees.
They said it was not a bank error yet I find it was considering I was not notified about the status of my account nor the intended closure. What kind of banking is that?

US Bank customer service

I asked the branch at the Byerlyes in Chanhassen if I could buy pennies for my son's birthday who just started a coin collection. They wouldn't give me $5 worth of pennies since I don't bank with them and asked me to go to my bank down the street. They just lost me, my husband, children and relatives as future clients. Though I used to have a mortgage with them they don't seem to care...the $5 is very little compared to client acquisition costs...some banks even pay $50 or more if clients open an account.

US Bank usbank in marble hill mo

I would like to voice my opinion that the US Bank in marble hill mo is going down hill! They have one drive thru that is functional. They are not open in the lobby on saturdays and they are always short staffed. If you want this branch to grow something needs to change! Someone needs to look at the other two banks in town and see what they are missing out on.

US Bank bad customer service.

There have been a number of times when I have been verbally harassed by an assistant branch manager Tatyana (she is Russian or from Eastern Europe) while I am conducting a personal business at your bank . I have a slight memory loss to the injury in Iraq and I do have a rough time to remember my PIN number. I don't wanna write it down because I don't feel comfortable. Every time she gives me hard time about and several times she called me a stupid while referring to another bankers. I can't believe that so unprofessional individual is representing this outstanding bank

US Bank overdraft fees

Dear US Bancorp Customer Service :
I have been a loyal customer for over five years with US Bank and recently I was very alarmed by how a charge dispute and customer service was handled with my complaint. The complaint was related to overdraft fees which was explained to me that US bank no longer refunded overdraft fees. While I tried to explain that I felt these charges were made in error, I was repeatedly interrupted, spoken over and basically not allowed to explain my situation. The manager that I spoke with was extremely rude and unforgiving. Her name is Andrea, ID # 168976.
My complaint was that I had experienced overdraft fees on 5/30/2018, while monitoring my account very closely. Every time I checked my online banking, it gave an available balance that did not exceed my spending. It was explained to me by Andrea that the error was from withdrawing cash from the bank over the weekend that had not been updated to my account. Not only was the cash taken five days earlier, but every time that I have taken cash from the ATM in the past, it posts to my account immediately, regardless of what day of the week it is. So, this explanation from Andrea made did not make any sense. I was charge four overdraft fees of $36 that I do not feel were made in my error, but rather an error on the part of US Bank.
I truly hope that these fees were made in error and that the customer service that I received was merely a mistake. I would like to clear this error as soon as possible to continue business with your company. I have enclosed my contact information in order to resolve this matter.

I agree with you! I had the same issue. US Bank would apply my checks at 00:01 on the Friday of my pay but then my pay would show up in their system, my checking account, at 09:01- California time. I took another account with another company to see if it was my employer's fault- and no! my check, in fact, would show sometimes 2 days in advance with that other company. I even ask the US BANK manager to close my account. She said she change my account into a "second chance checking account " that way no transactions wouldn't create overdrafts fees. But nothing was done and transactions created even after 9:01 where marked as overdraft, yet I had received part of my pay with my other bank account. US BANK is the American Modern Thief... don't open an account with them.

US Bank overdraft fee

I got an overdraft fee for $36 because more than I was expecting came out of my account and had around $20 less than I was suppose to when something came out. As soon as I saw it I immediately put the funds to cover it back in. But I do not have the funds to provice a $36 fee. Money is tight and that puts me in an even tighter spot. I called to try to have it removed and they said there was nothing they could do. Very disrespectful.

US Bank check cashing

I tried to cash checks and they are trying to charge me $7 a piece to cash. What is this? So if I deposit checks into my acct that your customer writes me and is possibly bad, then I have even more fees to pay. Why are you the only bank in America charging fees to cash a check written by your customer to who they paid? I called two of my banks and neither of them had even heard of such a fee! I would never bank with service like this. And I am letting my customer know of this also

US Bank I want a refund!

I have banked with us bank 2 times and this will be my last. I have had nothing but problems with us bank whenever I have an account and direct deposit/overdraft protection set up. Explain to me how this is logical and not a scam: You sign up for overdraft coverage you are not technically signing up for overdraft coverage this is where they get you. When I first signed up with us bank for the 2nd time I explained to them the reasoning's behind me cancelling my account with them: Because I kept getting charged for overdraft! When I have $0 money in my account I suspect you don't continue to let transactions go through or "cover" my transactions! The whole point of overdraft protection is for this logical reason! So I don't get charged fees or have money taken out of my account when I don't have money in my account! Well with us bank their overdraft coverage consists of not this like how ALL banks I have banked through do it. Us banks overdraft protection consists of "borrowing you money when you have none in your account to pay for the transactions". Oh and it's not technically overdraft PROTECTION if you are allowing these transactions to continue to go through when I have called and talked to multiple people to STOPPPPPP Letting transactions go through. "The other point is overdraft protection if you sign up with us bank and have this so called"COVERAGE"(Just so they can scam you and get your money) its not technically stopping from transactions to go through your account when you have no money if you sign up for overdraft protection it ALLOWS the money to be taken out of your account with the bank"borrowing" you money to pay for these charges and then on top of that they will charge you $36 overdraft fee LMAO give me a break. if you have automatic bill payments it will still get taken out of your account and you will get charged $36 for each transactions. US BANK CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS, they did NOTHING to HELP ME as a customer of their bank I am deeply saddened and disappointed. You do NOTHING to help your customers, you are SCAM ARTISTS, you are not here to HELP ANYONE, you are here TO TAKE PEOPLES MONEY. I asked for the overdraft protection to be taken off nobody explains anything at this company they go around it. Long story short: they never took off overdraft protection so I got charged 4 charges on my account x4 overdraft $36 fees, when I called they said oh we will listen back to your call and we will decide if we waive those or not. ARE YOU KIDDING ME, if you think I am paying over $100 in fees for BS that your company didn't fix then you have me MESSED UP.

So now I'm going on the 5th day without access to any money. Cant eat cant ger gas nothing. I continue to call for some sympathy anything because i know this is so wrong. I verify all the charges at least 5 times but still nothing untill after the holiday * memorial day* is up and the bank opens again tomorrow. Some of the lines I heard via us bank custumer service. * your out of luck* " not sure the answer you want from me sir" " I'm sorry about your poor luck' * I have no answer for you. All of this has made this the worst experience in my entire life and I would never reccomend getting an account here
