US Bank customer service

In one branch could not order more checks with my form from the check book because employee could not do it, instead requested I call and use the phone number. Later, I tried that and I needed to input all the numbers for the account which was too many to do on the phone. Went to the larger branch and submitted form and then asked what the cost of checks would be. After waiting for a minute the clerk was still gazing at the screen unable to answer my question. Other issues pertain to not knowing the customer and not asking for I.D. Overall, service mediocre. Also savings rate negligible.

US Bank rude customer service when all I want to do is fix the matter

I was told that we were going to have our home taken if we didn't reply or respond to the phone call in which I was on. I said sir well can you please tell me what I owe then. He said you know and we are putting a lien on your home so we can take it then hung up in my face.

So I called right back. I asked for someone in charge. The guy says my name is Jerry and I'm The supervisor. I said so you're the manager he said rudely how many times do you want me to tell you that my name is Jerry. I ignored it. I began to tell him what was happening and he said well let me pull up your account. (I never told him my name) I said ok, but yet notifying him the remainder of what was happening prior to this phone call. He says rudely You keep talking and I asked you to hold on while I pull up your information. Then I reply, you must have been the one who call me just now call me being rude. He then Yelled and said I just got to work. Then I replied sir I will be calling someone over you. Then HE Hung up in my face.
I still do not have a clue if what's owed
the number was: [protected]

I called back 2 more times so I started looking for the Corporate Contact

US Bank employee

I called the Fisher's Landing branch in Washington to get help with an account charge. The first person who answered was very nice and helpful. She passed me to the next person apparently without giving her information about the call (according to the next person). The next person was rude from the moment she answered the phone and was condescending throughout the call. This is unnecessary behavior from anyone. I have a doctoral degree and am very intelligent and certainly can understand basic instructions. She acted as if I was an [censor]. This is unacceptable behavior. I do not think someone who handles customer questions should have this demeanor. You should really consider moving her into a position that does not deal directly with customers or have some intense training to help her deal with providing basic information. I was very calm and simply questioning what I could see on my end, I am not sure I have ever encountered anyone at your bank with such poor interaction skills. Please consider providing some training. This is not acceptable. Her name is Breah Parott, she said.

US Bank customer service

The only way to explain the terrible customer service from USBank is that their intentions are planned and they have no interest in providing customer service. Their website sucks. The wait times for phone support are long. When you get through to a phone agent, they claim they can't hear you and eventually disconnect. USBank intentionally makes it very difficult to make extra principal loan payments and to get customer service assistance in doing so. If you have a choice, avoid doing any business with USBank.

US Bank mortgage

I contacted US Bank in November, because I was trying to get cash out for new windows. From the beginning they stated I would be able to take out cash but I would have to refinance my first mortgage and then my second. So I spent money to refinance my house and 400 to appraisal my house. So I went through the whole process of the first mortgage. Then they told me I couldn't refinance my 2nd until 30 days after I closed. So I felt I should contact someone else there and I do and was able to start the process of the 2nd mortgage loan. They also said I could get the 10, 000 out in cash on my 2nd as I had the equity and my credit was good. I went to closing on my 2nd out of nowhere they said in order to close I would have to pay off some credit cards and close them. No where in writing did it state I have to close credit cards. So basically I couldn't take any money out against my 2nd mortgage and was forced to pay off some credit cards. I did not close on my 2nd I will not be forced to do something So I went through 2 months of hell to not get the money I initially requested. Refinancing the 2nd mortgage would only have made my payment go up 50.00. I will not take any new loans out from US bank ever again as they promise you things and give you the run around. I never missed a payment on anything in my life.
I have been a customer for 23 years from when it was something else to firstar to us bank. I guess they don't value their customers.
I will never take a loan from US bank after this horrible experience.

US Bank home mortgage - modification process

I bought my first home in April of 2016 and my mortgage was assigned to US bank. In October of 2016 I unexpectedly lost my job. It took me several month to obtain a new job and in the meantime I was falling behind. I was only ever 2 payments at the most behind during this time. I was advised after talking to HUD and US bank that I could enter into a modification process which I am just completing. When I received the modification paperwork I had several questions and reach out by phone and email to Robin Busby who was assigned as my relationship manager. To date no return phone or email has been received from her. The paperwork said I needed to send a payment for the 1st payment due date of 2-1-18 which I did, US bank deposited that check which was Post dated which has cause several other payments to be dishonored and basically drained my account. Aside from the fact this has caused me further financial distress I still have no return calls from Ms. Busby. Not good business practice and not a good experience for a first time home buyer. I will be happy to forward emails. I can be reached at [protected]@aol.com Loan # [protected]
Thank you!

US Bank credit line

I was presented a very misleading credit line offer from US Bank. I was under the impression that it was a low interest rate (2-4%) rate for 18 months. I did not understand that when I borrowed the full $20k line that I would be immediately charged a promo transaction fee of 08/14/2017 Promo Transaction Fee $598.00 Futhermore I did not realize that since this fee pushed my limit over $20k I would immediately be charged $39 monthly over limit fees. My banker branch manager Monica [protected]@usbank.com) monica. [protected]@usbank.com) graciously intervened and rebated 3 of these payments. Further more US Bank reported me to the credit bureaus for a late payment. I have not had a latepayment in 20 yrs and was not under the impression that monthly payments were due. I am asking you to withdraw this late payment report. I will paying off ALL US Bank loan products this month and will never by utilizing US Bank for any credit relationships.

US Bank car lease

I am trying to use my leased vehicle to buy a new vehicle but US Bank wants $7, 000.00 more from a dealer to purchase my lease than what they are willing to sell the lease out to me. Their reasoning is we (US Bank) own the vehicle and we can choose to sell the vehicle for whatever we want to anyone other than the lease. My only solution is to take out a loan or come up with $21, 000 cash and buy it from them then I can trade it in

US Bank failure to release garnishment funds

RE: FIA Card Services
Case: RIC534956

On 9/21/2017, US Bank Garnishment Dept withdrew $14, 881.76 from my parent's checking account ending in 0209. We filed a Claim of Exemption, and proceeded to have our day in court. Judge Gary Tranbarger granted our Claim of Exemption on 12/01/2017.

At the advice of my attorney, I phoned the US Bank Garnishment Dept requesting a release of funds. That conversation with David took place on 12/06/2017. He advised me to fax a copy of the court decision which I did. Fax # [protected].

Having still not received a refund on 12/20/2017, I went to the local US Bank branch. I presented Tony with Certified copies of the Court Order Determining Claim of Exemption. At that time he emailed them to their Garnishment Dept. It is now 01/02/2018 and still the funds have not been released!

I'd like to know why they have chosen to ignore the Judge's order and refuse to refund the funds withdrawn from my parent account.?

Sincerely,
Patti Hale

It was for credit card debt. FIA Card Services had a money judgement against me not my parents.

To make a long story short. My parents are in their late 80's and not in the best of health. Dad wanted me to be able to step in and handle his affairs if needed. I had a notarized Financial Power of Attorney which Dad and I took to the bank. We were told it was no good since all their bank accounts were held in the Rheault Family Trust. The only way was to add me as a Trustee on their Family Trust.

In May I was added as a Trustee. Docs were notarized and taken to the bank. My name was added as a Trustee to their Family Trust. four months later FIA Card Services went after their bank accounts. US Bank garnishment dept withdrew $14, 881. from their checking account and two months later Citibank grabbed $33, 293 from their savings account. I also have a checking acct with US Bank but they went after my parents accounts not mine. I hired an attorney and we filed a Claim of Exemption claiming I am only a Trustee to their trust. That money is not mine! Their Trust included a "Spendthrift Clause" and that saved the day. The judge agreed and we won the case but US Bank will not release my parents funds.

Hi Patti.

It sounds as if you've had some difficulties with your finances.

If I understand correctly, one of the credit cards you owe for is U. S. Bank as well as it is U. S. Bank that holds your parents' account. You also have a judgement, on behalf of your parents, that the funds taken from their account, only from U. S. Bank, should be returned.

I would contact your attorney for additional options. My guess is he/she would readdress the issue with the judge. Any judge hates not having his/her orders not carried out. There are a great deal of options a judge will have in order to enforce the judgement.

Let us know how things turn out.

Hi Patti.

Just so you're not mislead, what was the original garnishment for? Who was the amount going to?

If you can provide the few details, we can hopefully help.

US Bank heloc

I first applied for a HELOC in October 2017. I've been working with Abrion Libby out of the Cheyenne Meadows Branch in Colorado Springs. We were originally approved for $60, 000 line of credit that was later changed to $60, 000 line of credit with paying off a few obligations. We agreed to that and we were told later that the line of credit was reduced to $55, 000. We agreed again to that. We were in the branch ready to sign and we were told the limit was lowered to $40, 000 with additional obligations to be paid off. At no time were they able to jusitify a reduction in the line of credit or an increase in the obligations to be paid off. Since the start off the process we have paid off some of the initial obligations and acquired no additional debt.

US Bank deceptive practice and misinformation about funds release date.

I went an deposit my payroll check on 12/22/17 at a US bank ATM in Gardena, California at about 2:30 PM US bank refuse to release my funds as 12/26 alleging that today 12/26/17 is the next business day and the money will be processed today and be available tomorrow. I do not agree with this practice of delaying on porpoise, the release of my funds and regret that US bank has treated me like some sort of suspicious individual by withholding my funds. I am very disappointing and frustrated wit all this situation.

US Bank customer service

I called in with an issue about a check I deposited on a Friday 12/15/17 at a local branch, knowing that it may be Tuesday before I get the full amount released to me. Come Tuesday the funds were not available. I call the 1800 customer service number and a lady there wanted to continue to argue with me and wouldn't listen to my situation. I asked to be sent to her supv and she put the phone on mute for 15 minutes making me believe she was getting other help... I finally had to hang up and call back in, I got a supv that time and she was no help at all.. I think that US BANK should re evaluate how their employees are talking to customers and how they are treating them. I am also a new customer and this is how they treat new customers how are they still in business. So I went to my local branch, and I was treated with the utmost respect and they helped me solve my issue. ( I had to be late for work because I had to wait for a local branch to open to try and handle this in person.. (What good is a 1800 customer line if they arnt willing to help)

US Bank secured credit card

I am an disabled american veteran trying to work on bettering my credit. They take you money for what seems like months especially at christmas and tell you it wont be long. I am out of gas not gifts for my children and asking for food from pantries while they hold my money till card arrives with miscomunication letters etc. Telling me they need more info etc. No one has a clue what they are doing. Some organization and training they give to upper management. I am at the least impressed or happy. I now have to wait to get my 300$ back when I get the card if I get it and still wait 3 months or longer for a check. Merry Christmas What a crock I will have my money come as a check here on out and not deposit to banks for ripoffs. This should be illegal. Thanks for such a great holiday to end the year its so awesome knowing the government allows organizations to get by with this. God Bless and I pray I do not see Karma come back to you and yours.

US Bank fraudulent check on my checking account.

I have been a USBank/Downey Savings Bank customer for 12-15 years. I have experienced fraudulent activity on my accounts in the past but issues were resolved promptly. However, this last fraud incident (Fraud Claim #FLC1715502) regarding one of my checking accounts has not been resolved since late August. Of the 3 accounts I have with USB, there was a fraudulent check cashed on my account ( # [protected])for $250.00. Once, I noticed the fraudulent check, I reported it to USB. It has been a back and forth with requests for forms (which has been frustrating but I understand) in addition to long periods to reach someone in the fraud department. I have submitted everything requested, and now... after 3-4months, I'm told my account has not been credited back because I have to file a police report that includes a narrative summary. I had to wait 2hrs at a police station to obtain a report, but only received a police report reference # as the full report with summary takes 10days and $35.00 to obtain. I am very upset that USB has made me wait this long and go through so many obstacles to credit back my account. Now, I am forced, on top of time waiting for a credit back to my account, that I now have to pay $35.00 to obtain this report so USBank can determine if it is going to credit back (my money) to my account. This was an error on USBank's side -not mine. Why am I being subjected to wait this long, obtain all this info, when it is clear that is not my signature on check -USBank has my signature card on file.

US Bank janet [protected]

On November 14, 2017 my wife and I were on the line to discuss our over due account balance. We spoke to Janet who used as an identifier 314/216-4247. She called me and asked that I have my wife call her, as the account was in my wife' name, to give Janet permission to speak with me about the account. Janet put my wife on the line, who had already given Janet the permission to discuss the account with me, and I was patched into the call. As my wife was at work and I was home for the day, I asked that my wife be able to leave the call as permission was already given.
The first thing Janet did was to say my wife had to be on the call to answer questions. I asked if that wasn't the reason for her to get my wife's permission to allow Janet to speak with me. From this point on, with my wife on the call, Janet essentially ignored me, rudely so.
ISSUE #1 - Janet preceded to speak with my wife and ignored my spoken comments. If a question was asked, there was a silence on Janet's end until my wife parroted my response. This went on throughout the entire conversation. Along the way, my wife and I questioned why my wife had to remain on the call since permission was given. To Janet's behavior I attribute one of two reasons: She was inexperienced in her job and did not act in accordance with the permission given for me to speak with her about the account; or she was just being rude and a pain for her own reasons.
ISSUE #2 - My wife is not as experienced in the matters being discussed. Since I have a been understanding of the involved business, I responded to the questions. Again, knowing permission had been given for Janet to speak with me. Janet repeatedly (many times) made the comment she HAD to hear the response from my wife. She was just not true. She started to get rude and I ceased to speak, staying on the line to listen.
Her conduct and behavior were unprofessional, rude and actually outside the perimeters of US Bank rules to speak with a person, other than the account holder, when permission to speak about the account with the card holder. If I could, I would have filed a complaint with US Bank directly.
Thank you,
Steve Myrick

US Bank flexperks credit card

I just called in to find out my balance information from 10/15 because a merchant has been having issues processing my card. The customer service personel seemed to have lost her patience with me and at the end of the call stated "Oh my God" just before I am about to hang up. I am offended as I do not believe I was a difficult call. I have plenty of experience with QA in call centers and know this is unacceptable. My name is Natalie Flores and the call was between 8:45-9:00 am PST. Please bring this to the agent's attention so she does not make such mistake again.

US Bank overdraft

When I first opened my checking account they asked if I wanted to sign up for overdraft protection and I said no so throughout the year when bills time to get paid they couldn't get paid because I didn't have overdraft protection but come the end of October I looked on my statement and see I had overdraft which I knew I didn't sign up for it when I called about it they said well that's something that comes when you open an account but it didn't because we said we didn't want to sign up for it so there shouldn't have been away for a bill to get paid if I didn't have no money in my account and for me to have an overdraft twice. I did not sign up for overdraft and my mother is on the count with me and she also new they offered us overdraft protection and we declined

US Bank allowed my social security check to be cashed by thief

My name is Angela Scanlon, I live in Tucson, AZ and I have Multiple Sclerosis.
I was awarded Social Security in 2016 and backpay of $40, 000 which was mailed to a wrong address and then was cashed by a thief that had no access or authority to cash my check. I filed a police report, called US Bank Fraud line and they refused to help me since the person that stole my check which is in my name only, opened a bank account with US Bank with me as a NON Signor and her as only access. She would have to open an account with my name since its the only name on it. I filed a report with Senator Flakes office and they contacted Social Security which directed me right back to US Bank since they cashed the check without proper approval. She never should of been able to cash a $40, 000.00 check that is NOT in her name.
I am going to the media, online, every platform I can until my money is rightfully returned to me. I am the and I am treated as the accuser. This is downright ILLEGAL and UNJUST. Someone will help me one way or another.
