Universal Studios lost my camera

hi
• Iam a doctor from india working at All India Institute of medical sciences, New Delhi
• I had come to us to attend a conference in las vegas
• We wanted to visit los angeles and today we went to see universal studio (21/2/2012)
• while i was having my lunch at the hollywood grill at universal studio, someone just picked my sony camera (handycam worth 1000US dollars) lying by my side and went away. He threw my scarf tied to the string of the camera
• I lodged a complaint with the guest services and even informed the staff at Hollywood grill
• The authorities said only if someone returns it they will give it back
• If universal studio is charging so much entry fees why they are not having special security measures like hidden cameras especially at their eating joints and theaters
• This is shame for americans that they cannot take care of their guests. I will carry such a poor opinion about the administration in this country
• I want a written explanation for why they are letting this happen at such a premier place
• A survey must be carried out as to how many thefts are taking place at this place and what measures are taken by the agency handling the universal studio look into the matter and what do they do for the people like us for their loss. I think its mandatory to take some strict measures
• date of loss: 21/2/2012
• site : universal studio los angeles
• my email id : [protected]@yahoo.co.in
• my home address : S 205, GKII Ground Floor new Delhi, India

I visited UNIVESAL STUDIO in the month of March 2012, Many rides were frequently put to halt for mechanical failures. I was not able to use atleast 4 rides. It really sucks, Singapore is not meant for tourism and attitude of Singaporeans real sucks. They are turning rip off artists day by day. Same thing they do at any place, if any thing goes wrong they simple shrug their shoulders and offer no apology.

Singapore really sucks.

Universal Studios Money Stolen From our Wallet

This incident happened during our visit to Island of adventures theme park, Universal Studios Orlando. We had just finished our ride at The Amazing adventures of Spider-man, when while leaving the vehicle my husband realized that his wallet had somehow slipped out of his shorts pocket in the vehicle. We had just disembarked from the vehicle and before we could retrieve the same (it was just a matter of 2-3 seconds), the attendant stopped us and told that they would retrieve and hand it over to us. They informed over the phone to their folks at the boarding place and they retrieved and handed it over to us. We were very glad and thankful that we got it back. But our joy was very short-lived for $110 was missing from it. We checked our cards and found it to be intact. We were very deeply saddened by this incident and this changed our initial opinion of the integrity of the staff. The rest of our trip was marred by this incident.
I, especially, had a very good opinion of people here and this incident has shaken my belief a bit and made me realize that no matter which part of the world you are in, there are bound to be few such people.

Universal Studios tickets

i bought tickets for my son and I to universal studios and islands of adventure, which included express passes, a "meal deal" package, and a "free" refill souveneir cup. we bought them a few months before our vacation. when you arrive you have to take your credit card and swipe it at a kiosk and enter a long confirmation #. my parents had bought the same package, and while my son and I had no trouble at the kiosk my parents did, they had to go stand in line to get their tickets printed. when we finally got to the gate my dad's pass was saying it was invalid and they would not let him enter. it took about an hour before it was finally straightened out. when we were done at islands of adventure we headed over to universal studios and my parents passes were scanning fine but mine and my son's were saying that out tickets had been reprinted and they would not let us enter. we had to walk back to guest relations where we were told our tickets had been reprinted at 3:30 pm (it was now 3:45pm) which would indicate that our tickets were being reprinted at the exact time we tried to enter universal. so had to wait for a supervisor to "investigate" the matter, which took over an hour, while we stood out in the heat. finally someone comes out and says it was just a kiosk malfunction which happens occasionally, and they would have to print us new tickets and express passes. when i told the supervisor we paid alot of money ($500) to come there and half our day had been wasted because of their computer errors she just shrugged it off, i didn't even get an appology. i'd like to know how a kiosk just spontaneously reprints my tickets anyways, when you have to swipe your credit card and enter a confirmation #. furthermore, the meal deal is a joke! there are only 3 locations in each park that you can use them, they are not well marked, they all have the exact same food which was really awful, and you have to wait in line forever to order. the souvenire cup is only eligible to recieve free refills at those meal deal locations as well, otherwise you have to pay for them. so all in all it's not worth it. on top of all this, we had to wait 2 hours just to enter the wizarding world of harry potter section, that doesn't even include the wait time to get onto the rides in there or to get into the stores which have a line as well, and the express passes are no good there. next time we will just stick with disney world!

What a rip off place! Finally got into the park after waiting in line for 90 minutes to get our certificate purchased at our resort turned into an actual ticket...waited in line with my granddaughter who was one half inch short of getting on the Harry Potter Ride...why on earth wasn't someone checking this prior to letting us stand in line for 2 hours only to get there and be shoved off into a room where we had to do a child swap, her heart was broken, poorly ran operation - we should have been told this at the beginning not when we got up to the ride. Further, park closed at 5pm to get ready for Halloween event; so, we spent $130 for 6 hours of waiting in line and getting on four actual rides...never again. This place a an absolute joke!

My Wife and I just got back to the Dolphin Hotel from a day at Universal Orlando. It was one of the worst experiences we have had on vacation. When we purchased our tickets at the entrance, we were told that the express plus passes were sold out and no more would be issued for the day. We were then told that we could purchase 2 VIP tickets with unlimited access to everything in the park. I asked if that would also get us into Harry Potter and he said " of course ". We bought the tickets, $440 for the 2, walked down to the Harry Potter exhibit and were told we had to go to Toon Lagoon for a pass to get in. I showed her our VIP passes and she told us they do nothing to get us in, we would have to get a pass. So, we walked the long walk through the throngs of people to get to Toon Lagoon, only to find the line for passes stretching well past the Spiderman ride. If we had a pass at that time we could get a pass for 6 PM, but we would have to wait in line for 3 more hours for a pass for maybe Midnight. Oh, as we walked over to Toon Lagoon, I noticed kiosks selling the Express Plus passes that were supposed to be sold out. We returned to Harry Potter later to find the same situation, only now it was a 3 hour wait for a standby pass. I overheard Universal attendants telling people at the entrance to the park that they should be able to get into the Harry Potter exhibit within 90 minutes. Lies, lies and more lies.
We will never go back to Universal, they have no regard for the paying customer, just the money they can fleece you out of.

We just returned from a trip with my sister in law who has Alzheimers. We were instructed to buy the fast pass so that the wait would not be long to ride the Harry Potter ride. After paying for the admission + the fast pass for three adults, we were told at the ride that the Harry potter ride was at full capacity and was not accepting the fast pass. So we waited in line for 75 minutes. I am warning people to save their money and go to another theme park. We feel that if you pay for something it should be available. It was a lot of money for one ride.

Universal Studios rating of movie

I hired the movie 'Battlestar Galactica - The Plan' and the rating on the movie was MA15+ strong violence but when I watched the movie there were sex scenes, nudity and many naked women & men scenes. This should be included in the rating of the DVD. I was so disgusted by the amount of filth in the movie that my husband and I turned the movie off before it was finished and I will be telling all my friends and family that the movie isn't appropriate for people who don't want to watch a movie filled with sex and filth.

Yours sincerely

Chantell Sampson

Universal Studios wrong information

Beware of any information that the customer support department offers you from the number for their tickets on their website. That number is [protected]. First of all everyone has different information about special ticketing (VIP, Express Pass, etc..) but more disturbing is an idiot supervisor or manager up there. After not getting a straight answer, I talked to the manager named Faith and she told me I could purchase a 7 days ticket. When I got to the park the offer expired and they wouldnt let me in. Needless to say, it ruined my trip as a flew to Florida for vacation and didnt have extra money to buy new tickets. The park officials said that Faith should have never allowed those tickets to be sold on the dates which she sold them to me. She sounded ignorant on the phone but I figured she was a manager so...

She is a stupid idiot and scammed me for over $500 and ruined my vacation. She needs to be fired. Call the park for real information as the site and the site's customer support doesnt have a clue.

Universal Studios - Employee stole my camera

On July 11 at about 4pm while riding "The Mummy" with my family and friends, we left my wife's purse in the wheelchair. Half hour later, while waiting for another ride, we noticed that our digital camera was stolen. In our way out a storm was starting, so we had to abandon the park. It would be nice if the Park Administrators review the security camera...

Universal Studios Misleading advertising

Be aware! Of the express pass scam!
In an attempt to beat the long lines at both universal studios and islands of adventure we purhased the express pass from a park employee at a kiosk. At the totally inflated price of 51.00 dollars each we got ripped off! The sales person neglected to inform us that we could only use the pass once on each ride. At that price one should be able to enter each ride as many times as you wish duringh the day. The after returning to the kiosk I saw a disclaimer on the sign that was nearly unreadable, it was so small. I also went back another person and asked to buy more tickets to see if they mentioned the restrictions, "not a word"be aware! Ask questions because they wont tell you - and there are no refunds after they scam you.
