I signed up for this service that was suppose to save me between 50 and 75 dollars every month on my gas and electric bill. The first month after I received my bill it was higher not lower. The rep that came to my door advised me that of what I would be saving and that it was a service free of charge. Not true my bill was higher and the company is now charging me a fee as well. I think it is a shame they are being allowed to scam poor people for their hard earned cash. Please help!!

There were door to door Reps. Telling DTE customers that they were from DTE ! Stating that they were trying to save us money for the winter months! Because the price of gas was going up! now that I signed up for the Energy program I find that It was all a lie to change mt service provider! when I called to find out what was going on, I was told that I have been signed up for a year;But get this they wrer just out to my home during this summer and October the 25-27 08 I called Universal and was told even if I was to change back I had to pay $250.00 To go back to DTE and YES my bill is Much higher as well!!! there going door to door selling lies please help I dont have money to just give away
