United Processing Terrible experience!

Jason James called saying that he was from United Processing. He said, I am filing charges against you for check fraud. He said he was sending a sheriff to pick me up, and that I had until 11:30 to come across with $345.00. At this time he was supposed to be filing an affidavit for my arrest. I told him I didn't have a prayer of getting any money right away. I told him I was trying to find a job, but noone would hire me. I told him even though they didn't say so, I knew it was because of my age. He said he couldn't give me any time, and that I was to go to Wal-Marts and send a money gram. I told him it was impossible and begged him to call me at noon the next day. I told him I couldn't call him back because my long distance had been cut off because of money.

He said reluctantly that he would call me at noon the next day, but that I had better have some dam money by then. I talked to a lawyer in my town and I was told that there had been some bad reports on the company and they thought it was probably a scare tactic, but since they weren't representing me they couldn't commit any farther. He called me the next day, but he waited until almost 1:30. I told him I couldn't get any money and that I didn't believe he was for real, and that I would pay this cash place back when I got a job. He started screaming at me, and told me to shut my no good dam mouth. He said, you're not going to get a dam job, you're going to be pushing up tulips.

I hung up on him. He really scared me, and because of my age, he could have caused me to have a heart attack. I want other people to not be victimized by this person, or anyone else in that company. The next person they call may have a heart condition. Someone in the legal system needs to do something with this company before they scare someone to death.

I hope this will help to have something done to stop them.

I also got a call from this United Processing stating that I owed 7 hundred and some odd dollars back in 2/2008.
They had all the information on me and the social security #, phone #, and the name of the cash store I had borrowed money from back in 2003. I just found out about this because i had someone else just call me in the last couple of days in regards to the same cash store I had borrowed from in 2003 and I have not borrowed any from them since. I kind of started wondering about this. I started looking for receipts from the money grams i had sent to Kimberly Jones from United Processing. I told these people that have been calling me that I have paid so much on this account and they told me you owe $829.00 and I said no way. I have receipts in my hand that I have paid and she stated that I had not paid anything on this account at all. I have not heard from them today yet and I probably will not since they know I have receipts. I have contacted my local police department about this and they are going to investigate this. I hope these people that scammed me and many others as I have seen rots in JAIL for the REST of THEIR LIVES! If you get a call from this United Processing Place tell them you know they are a scam. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, and PLEASE DO NOT SEND ANY MONEY LIKE I DID! One of these people was Kimberly Jones and Kristen Coats. Thanks and good luck to everyone that has been scammed by this company that is in fact a fraud.

I also got a call form this company. I got a message on my job voicemail from someone calling himself Travis Taylor. He told me that I owed a cash advance place money. I asked him mto fax to me this information that he had. He wouldn't do it. He started to get angry and told me that if I didn't pay this m0ney by 3pm that afternoon, that the police would come to my job or my home and arrest me for a felony bad check charge.
He called my job and told all of this crap mto my supervisor. I thought that was against the law to talk about debts with a third party. Especiallt your supervisor at work. So I encorage anyone who has had a call from this company, contact your State Attorney's office and the FTC. I did and they have not called back. But it's only been one day. I almost want them to call back so I can get the wheels turning on prosecuting these individuals, One by One.
This is my new mission in life at the moment.

United Processing Harassment!

Please do not fall for UNITED processing/KIMBERLY JONES SCAM. This morning I received a phone call from a company called united processing, I spoke to a gentlemen, stating that I owed money for a payday loan totaling 700.oo, He advised me that I wrote a fraudulent check and that I needed to pay him the money now to prevent myself from going to jail. I advised this man that I don't write fraudulent checks and that I don't want to discuss this at my job. He then stated that If I don't pay him via western union by the end of the day, He will have a sheriff come to my home or job to arrest me. I hung up the phone on him, he called me right back and asked to speak with my supervisor about this issue, I hung up on him again, he then called back stating that If I hang up on him again, he will call every employee he can reach within my job and tell them about my situation. I told him that this is harassment and to stop calling me. He called a total of 20 times. Later on, This lady by the name of Kimberly Jones called me attempting to collect money via western union as well, I advised her that I am aware that this company is a fraud/ I advised her to stop bullying me and to not call me again. The company showed up on the caller ID as united processing out of jacksonville, FL. [protected]. Please do not fall for the scam.

These guys are a joke. Long drawn out legal-mumbo jumbo that wouldnt even be caught on the worst episode of Law & Order imaginable. Today though, I found the ultimate revenge. I turned the tables on "Officer Sean Baker at ext 1401". I called back 7 times. The first time I left a message stating the obvious, that they were scammers, etc. the following 5 I called and left messages like "Hey Sean... its Mike. Guess what? You made a new friend and every time you call me just once, I will call you back again and again... just for s***s and giggles". The last time I called back, I left a message that was verbatim that which he had left me, accent and all. Finally, on the 8th call back to them, a supervisor came on the line... and told me that Sean did not want to speak to me... and that my number would be removed from the call list. So... that's the solution. Give them just as much s*** as they give you, and they will leave you alone. JUSTICE!

This company is very low when it comes to calling my number. They called my job and threaten to take me to jail for a worthless check. I am very upset because I work for a banking company and worthless checks is unacceptable here. I have never written any checks. I don't own a check book at all, for them to call my job and disclose information to my boss, is unlawful. So I took off work for that day and since I live right here in Jacksonville Fl. I went down to their physical address at 101 Century 21 Dr. and called a police escort, to escort me inside and have them stop calling my home and job about an untruthful matter... I am very pissed and angry with this company. This is truly a Scam. I sat and watched the building for about an hour... they come and go as they please... If they had known that I was coming to their business today. They can just pack up and leave the office like nothing is going on in the building. So what type of job you know that can shut down business like a drop of a dime! Its A SCAM! If they call you try recording the call and advise that you are recording the call at every chance... They will hang up on you and stop calling once you mention the call is being recorded.

Very Pissed, but satisfied for the look on their faces when I walked into the office.

I had a call from a Nick Flemming who called himself an officer. On my WORK voicemail, he left my FULL SS#, address, and job's name. I was outraged. He called me 6x's threatening me, calling me a criminal. I went down to the local police department to file a report, but they couldn't do anything. the officer did verify that he belongs to a real debt collection company. When I came back to work, he called me again at 2:00pm in the afternoon leaving the same kind of voicemail. He called a 3rd time at work and this time I picked up around 3:40pm. At first he refused the name of his company, then when I advised who I was, he started yelling at me and calling me a criminal. I told him I already contacted the Tampa Police Department and they verified he is not an office but a legitimate loan collection officer. He was outraged and said he's going to put a warrant out for my arrest right now and my social security number will be blacked out. he then cursed at me, called me bad names and he hung up. I then called him back with a private number, he began to yell at me again. I advised him to never contact me again EXCEPT via writing. He also called my cell leaving nasty messages around 11am, 2:12pm, & 2:15pm.

I just this morning received a call from a Jason James stating that I too was going to be arrested. They claimed that a warrant had been issued for my arrest due to an unpaid bill. Little did they know but my whole family is in law enforcement. I had my family run my name and no such warrant was issued .It should be illegal for these people to do this . When I asked this Jason James for a badge number he hung up on me .He had earlier stated that he was a detective .For more complaints about this company you can also go to RipOff.com .

THE SAME THING HAPPENED TO ME TODAY... BRIAN THOMAS CALLED MY FATHER WHO I HAVE NOT LIVED WITH FOR MORE THEN 10YRS...FRANTIC THAT THE US. MARSHALL WAS COMING FOR ME MY FATHER CALLED ME.
MY FATHER KNEW MORE ABOUT WHAT WAS GOING ON THEN I DID. I CALLED BRIAN THOMAS WHO INFORMED ME THAT I OWED $380.00- HE STATED I HAD 1HR/1230PM TO PAY VIA MONEY GRAM OR I COULD LOOK FORWARD TO THE US MARSHALL COMING FOR ME. HE WAS VERY NASTY, RUDE AND THREATENING, REFUSED TO PROVIDE ME WITH SPECIFIC INFO REGARDING THE DEBT. WHENEVER I MADE AN ATTEMPT TO SPEAK HE CUT ME OFF AND STATED THE BEST I COULD DO WAS SHUT UP AND TAKE THE INFO WHERE MY PAYMENT COULD BE IMMEDIATELY SENT. AFTER THE CALL ENDED HE CALLED AND LEFT ME A VOICEMAIL STRESSING IF I DON'T PAY IN ONE HOUR I HE WOULD MAKE AN EXAMPLE OUT OF ME. (BY THE WAY I HAVE RECEIPTS THAT MY DEBT WAS PAID IN CASH- 70$ BAL! HE REFUSED TO TAKE THAT INFO). I WAS FRANTTIC AS I HAVE NEVER BEEN IN ANY TROUBLE. I CALLED A FRIEND TO BORROW THIS MONEY. FIGURED I WOULD GET THE "US MARSHALL" OFF MY BACK AND THEN INVSTIGATE. MY FRIEND REFUSED TO LEND ME MONEY WITHOUT INVESTIGATION. WE THEN FOUND THIS IS SIMPLY A COLLECTION AGENCY NOT THE US MARSHALL OFFICE. I CALLED THE US MARSHALL TO VERIFY. I AM LEGALLY TRAINED IN FDCPA PRACTICES AND KNOW 100% FOR A FACT THAT THEY HAVE NO RIGHT TO DISCLOSE PERSONAL INFO TO 3RD PARTIES W/OUT MY CONSENT, ALSO THEY HAVE NO RIGHT TO THREATEN ME OR TO ALLOW ME TO BELIEVE CRIMINAL PROSECUTION WILL FOLLOW IF I DON'T PAY. WHEN I CALLED AND SPOKE TO A SUPERVISOR HE WAS VERY NICE AND ATTENTIVE. WHEN I MENTIONED THE US MARSHALL HE COULDN'T BELIEVE THAT BRIAN WOULD SAY THAT. i TOLD HIM THAT MY FATHER TOLD ME HE DID AND BASED ON WHAT WAS ON THE INTERNET IT WAS VERY BELIEVEABLE... THE MINUTE I MENTIONED INTERNET THE SUPERVISOR BE CAME IRRATE TELLING ME THEY HAVE BEEN "CLEARED OF ALL CHARGES" AND HUNG UP ON ME. SHORTLY AFTER I RECEIVED ANOTHER CALL FROM MY FATHER TELLING ME THEY CALLED HIM AGAIN STATING THAT "THEY DON'T KNOW WHAT I AM IN COLLEGE FOR, BUT THEY WILL RUIN MY CAREER BEFORE IT STARTS. IF HE (MY FATHER) WANTS TO SAVE MY FUTURE HE (MY FATHER) CAN GO AHEAD AND PAY THE $380.00". i DO OWE $70 TO ORIGINAL CO. i WILL PAY THEM THAT AND NOTHING MORE. I HAVE ALREADY CONTACTED THE STATE ATTY'S OFFICE REGARDING THIS FDCPA VIOLATING, SCAM, SHAM OF A COMPANY!

I recieved the same call yesterday at work. He man with a Indian accent had left me the same message but told me or my lawyer to give a call me if not I will regret as the case unfold.
Lucky I didnt fall in the trap of this scam. The man was rude as I return his call because I was yelling at him and telling him I wanted to know the business name. He told me United Legal Processing Department in Dallas TX. the number he called me with was [protected]
When I told him my name he hung up on me. I called again and no answer but it was a voicemail that came up I left him a message saying "if he calls again and threatens me he can expect a call from my lawyer and will be reported to the police"
SCAM!
DONT TRUST THEM ...DONT SEND MONEY!

This is truly a scam, do not pay these people a dime!

We also had the same thing happen, but with us it was a "Brian Thomas" calling claiming to be with United Processing. Brian told my husband that if he did not come up with $280 by 1:00 pm that he would have a warrant for his arrest he also went on to say that it was for a bad check that he had written almost a year ago. This made no sense to us and right away we called people we knew more about warrants and whatnot and they even said this is illegal and can't be done. Please do to fall for this!

Same problem with United Processing. Waited for 2 hrs to be arrested. Too many complaints. These people should be out of business.
