UPS delivery of packages

On August 21st I realized I had not received four packages. I went to the web and it stated that it was just delivered to my house I go outside no packages. The next day I called cc and they stated that there was an attempt to deliver and no one was home which was a lie like I explained to the person on the phone had the driver came and no one was home he would have left a tag, there was no tag so she said they could be sent back out and it could take two days i understand that due to the weather probably wouldn't get it till this week so I called today and spoke with someone different and explained the situation and as we talked he's checking the system they never put in the system to redeliver by this time I'm very upset and he tells me that he's going to give my name and number to the manager to call me in an hour here it is four hours later and still no call back. EVERY TIME I USE YOU ALL THERE'S A PROBLEM I MIGHT AS WELL GIVE MY BUSINESS TO FEDEX. AT LEAST THEY DELIVER ON TIME

UPS was not home

September 2, 2017 11:00am I checked my status for my phone delivery it read, " customer not in On first attempt. Will deliver to access point and second attempt will be made tomorrow." I have been home all morning, I have not left my house! It is my work phone, losing business by the minute because this driver LIED and said I was not home. There is not a requirement for a signature, so why wasn't it left at my door? I was told it would be left at my door if there were no answer. However, there was no knock so it never made it to my door. This has happened before. They lie and say you're not available when you're home. I understand that there are a lot of important packages to be delivered, so how are the drivers determining which are more important than the next? It may seem like just a phone but it's how I live. Shame on this driver for lying. I hate UPS.

I too was expecting a replacement phone delivered today using the next day business service. Tracking information indicated that the phone would be delivered on 9/14. Sometime during the day that delivery date was "updated" to 9/15. I called the customer service number who said that the local UPS location would call me within an hour. About 20 minutes later I did receive the call. I was told that the package was at their location and delivery was in fact rescheduled to 9/15. Of course with no better explanation the rep played the hurricane Irma card blaming the storm for the delay. I offered to pick up the package myself explaining that it was my business phone and I needed it immediately. I was told it was not possible for me to pick it up and that I just had to wait for it to be delivered. This infuriated me. Why can't I just pick up my package I asked. The person said because it was on a conveyor belt . Here's an idea. Get it off the conveyor belt and hand it to me. Problem solved. Oh no. We can't do that. Absolutely pathetic.

UPS large shipping trucks

I was driving north I-25 before the Longmont exit, I was in the middle lane and the ups big rig in the right lane. We were side by side, I was about middle of truck trailer. He spots a cop with the cherries on, having pulled over a drive. He proceeds to make a lane change to his left, totally ignoring me, forcing me into the far left lane. Luckily for me there was no one over there. Protect the cop, who was safely on the shoulder and screw the driver on the highway. Thanks UPS. Screwed once more.

UPS tracking of package

Last Monday, I sent out my son's Philadelphia University ID by UPS at the local Staples. Three days later I called UPS and was told that my package was LOST. You did NOT contact me I had to contact you. Then, I was told the next day the package was found and would be personally handled by someone at the Philadelphia site. This was on the 22 of August. It is now Wednesday of the following week. I have been in touch with several customer service workers, three supervisors and, the missing package department. I was not told the investigation was closed! What? My package was not found, how can the case be closed. We went to Staples and received our money back, but in the meantime the last time the package was dealt with was on the 22. I was also tole 4 or 5 times to give you my number and I would be called back by someone within the hour - never happened. This ID is $25 dollars to replace. It has also cost my son not being able to eat on campus for over a week. I hope that someone can help.

UPS insurance is not honored

In April of 2017, I shipped a 55" TV from Texas to Tennessee and had it insured for $2, 000. The TV was damaged and UPS denied my claim stating that the item was not properly packaged and I did not use the "approved" bubble wrap.
1) I actually shipped a 50" TV also the week before and it arrived safe without a single scratch. I packaged the 55" TV even more carefully and it was damaged.
2) No one at the UPS facility where I took the item ever told me anything about using "approved" bubble wrap. Didn't even ask me if I used bubble wrap, which I did.
What is the point of getting insurance with UPS if they are going to dispute every little thing. I have tried to appeal my case, but UPS damage department says the facility where I took the item has to dispute my case for me. When I spoke to them, he says, "well, you can try and take them to court, but it will probably cost you more than the insurance ($2, 000).
I am so disappointed in UPS as a company. The school I work for has used UPS for years and never encountered this problem. I have also used them for personal use and never had a problem until now.
I will be telling my story to all my friends, family, and coworkers. DO NOT SHIP ITEMS WITH UPS--IF THEY ARE DAMAGED, YOU ARE NOT GOING TO GET REIMBURSED, EVEN IF YOU HAVE INSURANCE!

UPS ups driver

The driver delivering packages in our neighborhood was talking on his cell phone and turned a u-turn at a T- intersection and almost hit my daughter who was crossing the street. (He had his turn signal on and she thought her was turning. But he did the u turn instead.) He said on his phone while driving, "a girl almost walked in front of me" and laughed. We are in Brigham City, Utah. It was today, 8/28/17 at the intersection of 600 East and Bott Ave.

UPS delivery issues

Three days in a row my husband has been at my house all day long waiting for a package to be delivered. This is not the first time the delivery driver stated no one was available. I know for a fact he is not actually trying to deliver the package. I am extremely upset this has happened. I paid for the delivery and because someone does not want to do their job I have to be inconvenienced. My tracking# is 1z30971F0336150669.
I want a resolution asap.

UPS management

Our warehouse had a new training driver for 29 days. His name is Travis Gibson. He did a great job, was polite, prompt, gave great service, clean cut, just a great driver. He was fired on his last day of probation because his socks were too short and the logo didn't show. This action was instigated by a manager in the Reno Sparks Center named Rosemary. Travis has since been reinstated because of my managers complaint to you, but I'd like to add a complaint of my own. I have seen drivers from the Reno Sparks center with tattoos showing, beards, hair in ponytails, not clean shaven, and yet this young man is fired over socks? I personally know a feeder driver in the Reno Sparks enter who has been asking for new uniform shirts for over 2 months because you can see his undershirt through his they are worn so thin. And yet he can't get a new shirt. Why is it that when a company gets big like you guys, management becomes out of control and ridiculous? The real problem in this situation wasn't the young driver, it was the manager who fired him. I have dealt with ups for years. I'm sorry to say you're not the company I dealt with 25 years ago. That was when customer service was the most important thing and being a quality company who treated their employees well mattered.

UPS services not rendered

On 6/14/17 (it was a Wednesday morning) I paid $377. to ship a perishable item overnight from the UPS store located in Missouri City, Texas. The item was going from Texas to Oregon. The item was packaged appropriately. I was informed the item would arrive on Thursday end of the day. My sister (the recipient) was notified by the UPS Store Manager (Amar) from the Missouri City, TX location by email that arrangements had been made for her to pick up the item at a certain location on Friday morning 9:30 am. My sister had to drive out of her way to pick up the item, she reported there as instructed only to find out that the item was not there. She was informed the item was in Portland. She asked if she could drive there to pick up the items and informed she could not because it wasn't allowed. The item did not arrive to my sisters address until Monday (5 days after). The perishable item was ruined and no longer consumable. The perishable item was breast milk. I am requesting for a full refund. I have spoken to several individuals who work for UPS and have been given the runaround. All I get from the UPS staff is that I need to settle the situation will the store manager at the UPS location I went to . I have spoke to Amar the store manager at he informed me that all he can refund me is $122.00. I am requesting a full refund. I didn't get what I paid for. The excuses I have received from Amar is that due to weather conditions and a plane delay the item was not able to arrive on time. I also received informed by a UPS staff member that the item was neglected and that is one of the reasons it wasn't delivered on time. I am furious. I have a copy of the receipt and a copy of the email however I was not able to submit it.

Here is my name and contact number: Ana Valenzuela [protected]
Here is the address of the UPS store I visited and the Store Manager's name and number: The UPS Store6085, Amar, [protected], The UPS Store, 9119 Hwy 6 #230, Missouri City, TX 77459.

UPS I am out on everything

The driver left an expensive package at my door and went away. Please tell them that they can knock or ring or call. Whatever they want. Don't hesitate. Because I was at home and wasn't expecting the parcel that day. Why are other services so different? They would never do that. What was so hard to just knock?
Don't want to do business with you anymore. I'm pissed.

UPS truck driver

On 8/23/17, @ approx. 6:33 am, one of your big rig UPS trucks (Indiana plate P359415) did something that could've cost several lives; if not his/her own.
I was driving on 275 West towards 471 in KY. The lane for 471 Exit starts backing up around the Wilder exit. This truck stays in the lane next to the 471 exit.
I've already pulled in behind a car to take the exit ramp. Your truck driver stayed in the lane next to me, (these cars are bumper to bumper) then he drives directly in front of the cars onto the ramp. Where he entered that ramp is at the very beginning of a curve; if the car hadn't stopped he would've hit them.
I understand that the traffic is very bad due to the bridge construction; however, big rigs must be more cautious. I do understand how they feel because my brother has driven a big rig all of his life. This driver should receive some type of reprimand because of this.

UPS lost package

I shipped a package (birthday gift) from a UPS Store and they said it would be delivered before the birthday. Several days after the shipment, there is no tracking info only that a shipping label has been created. The UPS Store tells me the package went out the day I brought it in for shipment. UPS can't tell me where it is and will not look for it. UPS is telling me I need to call the UPS Store and have the store call UPS with proof the package went out on the truck. Why do I need to call the UPS Store to have them call UPS? Are you kidding me? I paid for the shipping service, why isn't the service getting done? Why do I need to do UPS' job? At this point no one is helping me and I am out the $36 gift and the $10 shipping charge. UPS SUCKS and I will no longer use them. I will go to the Post Office from now on. All UPS does is deliver packages and they can't seem to do that so they should not be in that business.

UPS customer service

I have a package sitting literally 5 min from me and UPS is refusing to do naything about it. And the lady at the UPS store on 14th street was seriously rude and nasty. When i said the USPS treats me better she responded, ummm yeah, no way. Extremly rude and unpleasent. All i want is my package which has all the stuff for the live animals that were delivered to early. And the window hours on Hammond are just sad a rediculas that everyone in town complains. UPS sucks and is rude and unhelpful. Funny thing is ive never had to depend on UPS and never again will i put myself in this situation. USPS is way more helpful and goes above and beyond when you need a package. There is always someone at the facility and if UPS cared at all about there customers they would find a way for them to get there stuff instead of having it sit in a storage room all weekend for no reason.

UPS delivery driver

On August 18, 2017 at approximately 4:50 pm the driver pulled up in my driveway throwing my package onto the front porch. I spoke to the driver before leaving and told him he would have to back straight out. It had been raining for 6 days, the ground was very soft especially the yard portion. I sat on my front porch watching the driver as he backed out. The driver could not back out straight. He left the driveway into the yard. The driver got stuck making ruts and deep hole in the yard. He spun at one point into the yard beside the driveway. The truck was too tall as well tearing limbs from my pine trees. I got up for a closer view, the driver left his vehicle at the end of the driveway with a smart [censor] attitude. I told the driver, "See what you did?, you left ruts in my yard." He said you want me to pay for it and I said no I would take care of it, meaning I would call UPS myself. He said you must not think I don't make good money and he got paid well. He got on the phone to call a supervisor giving him my address and phone number. The driver gave a wrong address; he didn't even know where he was. I heard him speaking giving an incorrect address so I corrected him as he spoke. The drive also made a video of the driveway. What he included in his destruction I have no idea. He said you want us to leave your packages at the end of the driveway? I told him to park his truck and walk the package to the front door.
Previous another delivery the driver cut through my yard to turn around leaving ruts and deep holes in my yard. I purchased dirt to fill in the holes of my yard.
Your drivers have no respect for another persons property. I am sick and tired of your sassy drivers with no respect and common courtesy for another mans property. This time UPS will pay for the destruction they leave behind on deliveries.

UPS driver

My family and I were driving on Will Clayton in Humble Texas (77338) around 7:30 am on Friday morning (8/18/2017) . My wife was driving in the lane next to a UPS driver (license plate GDP 7367) as we we turned from Lee Rd onto Will Clayton. She switched lanes and began driving in front of the UPS driver and proceeded to speed up and tailgate my family including our 2 year old son in the backseat. This became obviously uncomfortable so I waived my hand outside of my window to signal him to slow down and he threw his hands up and ignored my request. I told my wife to get over into another lane and he sped off going well over the speed limit . These actions really disturbed me because there are so many accidents, especially by company drivers, the school year has just begun and most importantly because my son was in the car. As we approached the red light I asked him if it was it necessary for him to be speeding like that and that my son was in the car and he replied we were in the damn way! At this point I'm furious and we began to exchange unfavorable words until he sped off when the light turned green.

UPS next day air

Yesterday I shipped an envelope next day air from california to maryland. This envelope contained a passport someone had left behind and needed to travel. The envelope made it to the kentucky terminal in time but was never put on the plane going to maryland. It stayed in ky for entire other day. When I spoke with the customer service agent she assured my it was on the plane but weather was causing the delay. I checked the tracking, it only had an arrival scan not a departure scan. I know it was not on a plane, if was on a plane it would have the departure scan so it could be added to the flight manifest. I used to work for ups. The result, the person missed there international flight. I currently work for one of the big three defense contractors and we almost exclusively use fedex now because of similar problems with ups. Ups needs to get their [censor] together. I will never ship ups again.

UPS delivery

On June 27, 2017 I purchased a recliner from the Gettington Co. It was shipped via UPS on June 28, 2017 and arrived in Oakland, Ca. on July 5, 2017 the first delivery date was suppose to be July 12, 2017 no delivery on that date so I waited until July 18th then I called the company I ordered from and they could not tell what happened to my delivery so they placed the order again. I waited to see if I received any e-mails from UPS which I did stating delivery would be July 24th I stayed home all day waiting even cancelling a doctor appointment no delivery. The next day I called customer service to see if they could tell me where my parcel was I was told that it was sitting in one of UPS's warehouse's but she could not why but that she said she seen a July 25th delivery date again no delivery. Well to my surprise on July 28th 2017 a month after placing my order arrived at 9:24 AM I watched the UPS man trying to unload the parcel he tried pulling off the truck but that did not work so got in the truck and pushed out of the truck on to the street he then rolled it across the street hand over hand up my drive way. I opened my door and asked him if that was for me he said yes and that he was glad to get it off his truck after looking at the box I asked him if it could be damaged he said if it was to call UPS and then ran to his truck and took off. We managed to get the damaged box up to the porch with my hand dolly. When I pulled the tape off the box the box fell apart the recliner had six scratches on it and a small slit on the back of the chair at that point even if I wanted to return it the box was so damaged there was no way. Why did your driver not use a hand truck to get the parcel off the truck. On August 2, 2017 the same diver delivered the second recliner the company sent out he took off the truck the same way he did the first one this time leaving it on my lawn. Again I used my dolly to get it on my porch. I called Gettington they arranged to have it picked up by UPS which they did on August 4th this UPS man used his hand truck to pick it up he was very nice. I can not begin to tell you how frustrating this situation was. I just do not know what to say UPS.
