UPS temporary drivers for the holidays

Our two regular UPS drivers know this neighborhood like the backs of their hands. But as soon as the Christmas shopping season started, UPS turned everything over to a bunch of kids in unmarked white trucks. And these amateurs are horrible.

They lost one of my packages, but on two separate days told their UPS bosses they had delivered it to our house (nope). Then UPS told us it hadn't arrived because no one was home to sign for it (nope, we were home and the item required no signature).

Nationwide, the UPS excuse is that Americans purchased too much online and caught them off-guard. Seriously? You're the largest shipping company in the U.S., home of Amazon, and Wal-Mart with it's new online strategy, and you're caught flat-footed because people are buying online a lot? Wow.

If I were on the company's board of directors, I would be calling for heads to roll.

UPS failed delivery of item

On 12/10 I placed an online order with Kohl's. Com. I was expecting delivery of the package On 12/15. however on 12/12 I received delivery confirmation it was delivered that day. Only problem was I never got the item. The delivery address is my parents house and they were home at the time. They did observe the ups driver in his truck and observed him scanning packages from his truck. Only one other package was delivered that was expected and it wasn't this particular item. I've already worked with Kohl's to submit a request to you to find out where my item is. In the meantime I've contacted ups to be proactive in locating it since I'm told it takes 48 hours to get a response. It's been 48hrs and I am no further than on 12/12. I don't understand why your company won't submit something to have the driver check his truck or track down the item in the meantime. He clearly either gave it to another house by mistake since he scanned them all in advance or he left it on his truck. Instead I keep getting told there is nothing that can be done until you get a request from Kohl's which was done two days ago. This is a Xmas gift and I now have to spend more money to reorder it to ensure it gets here by Xmas . I understand it's busy this time of yr, but they shouldn't be pre scanning anything until those items are left.

VERY DISSATIFIED

0N 12/9 I PLACED AN ONLINE ORDER OF WHICH I WAS EXPECTING THE DELIVERY OF THE PACKAGE ON 12/13 AS INFORMED. ONCE I RECEIVED CONFIRMATION THAT THE PACKAGE HAD BEEN SHIPPED ON 12/12 I RECEIVED NOTICE FROM UPS THAT THE PACKAGE WOULD BE DELIVERED ON 12/13. WHLE OTHERS IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD WERE RECEIVING DELIVERIES, UPS CONTINUED TO RESCHEDULE MY DELIVERY EVERYDAY. UPON CALLING CUSTOMER SERVICE TO SPEAK WITH AN AGENT, I WAS INFORMED THAT THE PACKAGE WAS OUT FOR DELIVERY. I INFORMED THE AGENT THAT THIS IS WHAT THEIR NOTICES STATED EACH DAY, BUT BY 10PM I WOULD RECEIVE ANOTHER NOTICE STATING THAT THE PACKAGE WAS RESCHEDULED FOR THE NEXT DAY. ENOUGH WAS ENOUGH WHEN ON 12/14 I OBSERVED UPS LEAVING FROM NEXT DOOR AND ABOUT AN HOUR LATER I RECEIVED A NOTICE THAT MY DELIVERY WAS RESCHEDULED FOR THE NEXT DAY. I CANNOT BEGAN TO UNDERSTAND WHY YOUR AGENTS ARE SO UNPROFESSIONAL IN THEIR COMMUNCIATION WITH CUSTOMERS. WHY WOULD THEY STATE THAT UPS WORKERS ARE NOT COMPETENT ENOUGH TO PERFORM THEIR JOBS DUE TO HUMAN ERROR? AS THE AGENT EXPLAINED, WE SCAN THE PACKAGE EVERYDAY BUT WE DON’T PUT IT ON THE TRUCK. THEN YOU TRY TO GIVE ME AN OPTION OF COMING SOMEWHERE TO PICK THE PACKAGE UP. ALTHOUG IT MAY BE A BUSY TIME OF THE YEAR, CARELESSNESS AND SARCASIM IS NOT AN APPROPRIATE WAY TO HANDLE A SITUATION. IF ITEMS ARE SCANNED, THEY SHOULD BE DEILVERED AND UPS SHOULD NOT PROVIDE FALSE INFORMATION TO CUSTOMERS JUST TO GET THEM OFF THE PHONE. YOU ARE IN A SERVICE BUSINESS, IF YOU ARE NOT HAPPY WITH YOUR JOB, QUIT AND ALLOW SOMEONE ELSE THE OPPORTUNITY.

UPS temporary delivery drivers you are hiring!

My name is William Michael Brown. I am an Amazon customer and receive regular deliveries from them (and other companies) via UPS. My address is 2121 Peralta Street, suite 121, Oakland CA 94607 USA. Phone is [protected].

At 2:30pm today, 12/14/17, we found a uniformed UPS driver (not our regular guy) and an un-uniformed assistant in a rented blue Budget truck parked in the middle of the one-way street that passes in front of our building. The plate number on the truck was 2RO116 (might have been 2RQ116 or 2R0116). You can see this plate number if you zoom the first
photo I've attached. They were blocking the entire street and delivering Amazon packages to the *driveway* entrance to the parking lot behind the building, instead of to the front entrance of the building, about 60 feet behind where they were parked -- but clearly visible to anyone looking for the entrance). When we complained about the street blockage (we couldn't enter our own driveway, proceed past him or back up -- the street is one way), the uniformed driver told us to, and I quote, "[censor] off". We then saw his assistant dropping the packages on the ground in the driveway. When we complained about that, he still refused to move the truck, refused to identify himself, told his assistant to grab the two packages from where he dropped them, and to get back into the truck. When they were done, he drove away. I've attached photos of the truck, front and rear, but was unable to get a clear photo of the driver, which he made sure to avoid.

This is the second time this has happened in a week; I found a UPS-delivered package next to my mailbox last week, which a neighbor had found in the driveway and thoughtfully brought it. Our regular guy who delivers to our building is a peach. But you need to ditch the guy in this truck and never hire him again.

UPS delivery

On my last package that required a signature, UPS changed the delivery date three times, and then when it was finally delivered the driver did not bother with a signature for the $1000 item.. Now I have a medication that requires a signature. They have changed the delivery date but not updated any of the tracking info for the last three days.. Its supposed to be delivered by the end of today but it doesn't even show having arrived in the area. Does UPS think we can stay home for days at a time to sign for a package that we can't count on coming.. current tracking no is

I was having trouble with UPS delivering packages without getting signatures. Pharmacy assured me that signature was required. I actually contacted UPS's legal department. They were very "Johnny on the spot." I was impressed with their legal team. It turned out the pharmacy wasn't sending it signature required (which they are supposed to).

UPS ups delivery

Yesterday around lunch time the UPS driver brought the company CEO a package ordered from Amazon. Instead of bringing the package to the office, the driver placed the package in the small side office of the plant manager and signed the CEOs name to the delivery. No one knew the package had arrived. When the CEO tracked it, it showed a signature of his last name that he did not sign because he was not here. The office spent an hour hunting for this package this morning before discovering its location. This is a business with the main office clearly marked so there was no reason for this. We always receive deliveries in the main office. Failure of the driver to properly execute the delivery caused a loss of time for the office staff and headaches for everyone. Please make sure your drivers deliver packages to where they are suppose to go and ask them not to forge a false signature on deliveries as the office staff is here to accept and sign for the packages.

UPS packages delivered to wrong address. every time.

There are two houses on our 80 acre property, with two separate addresses. 24115 and 24117, every time a package is delivered to me that should be to the 24117 address, it gets left at the 24115 number. It could be that my neighbor is telling them to leave my packages there however, because of this sometimes I wont find them for weeks at a time and they have already been opened. The house numbers are clearly different so I don't understand why this keeps happening.

UPS shipping charges

Sending a small package from Italy to Thailand via ups websites was 39 euros, for the exact dimension of the package (the weight was 300 grams so the dimensions was used for the shipping charges).

As I was tricked with the automatic PayPal payment I did not noticed I agreed to, I was charged 66 euro after the shipping departed.

The package I sent was 15 cm x 12 cm x 4cm, I was charged for a package of 30cm x 24 x 4cm ... now to open a complain you cannot use PayPal as the automatic payment was on, you have to call them somewhere in the world at their will, I spoke with Johanna Doe in Ireland (very stressed) with Mohamed in Tunisia and with anther lady who just close the phone on my face...

You need to have a photo of the package and of course I do not have it... who take a photo of the package before sending?

Even if it happen you have one, probably after you sent it they will say it's not possible to measure the dimensions, in any case they do not use emails for these things, only fax... who has and use a fax in 2018?

End of the story, they robbed me of 17 euros... so my suggestion is STAY AWAY FROM UPS if you can, MAKE SURE you do not have automatic PayPal charge activated if you are forced to use these trolls!

UPS ups delivery-failure to ring bell to notify of package delivery.

Thus far for the last 3 deliveries late in the evening (8:00 p.m. +) and sometimes during day hours, UPS Driver have not taken the time to ring our bell to alert occupants (Senior Citizens) of package delivery even though it is holiday time and packages are constantly stolen from front of houses.

What I am requesting is a courtesy doorbell ring when there is a delivery.
Not just leave the package, inviting thief during holiday times.

Thank you,

UPS delivery

We have had 2 different delivery delivered to somewhere but our home in the last 3 weeks. 1 Amazon replaced so we didn't have to wait on it to be tracked. The second one when tracked on you site by the tracking number shows it was delivered to a man at our address. There was never a ups truck at our address we didn't receive the package. Now we have to wait 8 days for it to be tracked down. We have been able to stop 3 packages at the ups site and picked them up there. But it's strange that the driver left our package with a man that was not my husband and not at our address and the driver didn't verify it was the correct address

UPS driver

I would like to begin by saying I do NOT take pleasure in any complaint and try not to if at all possible. I assume that usually people are just having a bad day. However ; UPS is the delivery service my company has been using for years and this man does not uphold the standard that I expect of UPS .
December 11th at aproximately 5:50pm I was trying to get out of parking spot at a store called DXl Mens apparel In the parklane shopping center . This driver came around the bend of the street nearly hitting the right side of my Jaguar . I honked and he kept going parking in my blind spot abruptly. I then put it in reverse to try to back up and make room before I squeezed out of my parking spot forward. When I was in reverse he was a foot away walking past behind me into the men's store. He COMPLETELY ignored my backing lights and movement . I couldn't believe him. I'm certain he was about a foot away because my alarm sensor detected him. I rolled my window down and asked him what he was doing ?! and he continued by verbally assulting me and holding a intimidating posture. I re enforced my question and that I could have hit him with my car. He continued by patronizing me by yelling at me that I shouldn't be parked facing the opposite side of the shopping strip in front of other shoppers in the area ( parking any direction is common and allowed at this strip)in fact there is a sign about 2 hr park enforcement dedicated to people parking in the direction I was parked right in front of me. He kept an intimidating posture and fled into the store. The lady parked behind was in awe of this man and asked me if it were possible for me to move since he had blocked both our way of making any attempt to leave. I took a minute and made my way out. But not after taking his license plate number AJ9 0048.

UPS delayed package delivery

I had a package sent from Nigeria on November 30th 2017 with a scheduled delivery date of 5th December 2017 and to be delivered at a friend's address in North York Toronto, but as i write on 11th December at 9pm, it is yet to be delivered. I called the care line [protected]) 3 times and the response on all 3 occasions was delay due to package volume around Toronto. Even after waiting on the line for 30 minutes to speak with a supervisor, i am unconvinced that the delivery scheduled for today will be done.

Unfortunately, the document in the package is urgently required for some government activity and i am at a loss for what to do. To say i am disappointed is to say the least. I hope this is sorted out quickly because i'm never going to use UPS again. One customer may not account to much but no one knows it all.

UPS driver/delivery

I have had nothing but problems with UPS. I have attached the lengthy delivery scheduling information where the "Driver" has been requesting day after day that the package be held at UPS facility which is not what I wanted or requested yet it is put into the system as "receiver requested" but that is a lie, I never requested that and the reason for my daily calls to speak to UPS Managers. The driver shouldn't be allowed to make a request for the receiver in which he has NEVER attempted a delivery. I filed a formal complaint on the driver on Monday December 4th because he came to my street (passed my house to next corner) and parked with a young lady in the front seat but never got out of the truck. I watched from my window for a moment but when I heard him start up the truck and still never came from inside, I approached the vehicle for my package where I had my online printout in hand and the driver immediately became very nasty, was belligerent and cursing stating he didn't have to get out of the vehicle to deliver my package that he didn't have it unless I provided him ID. I showed him my paperwork stating delivery was to be made and said by time you bring my package to door I will be back down with drivers license but didn't see why that was necessary since I did have my printout handy, upon which he again began cursing again saying I could be anyone in the building and that he now had the papers which he didn't return to me along with no written receipt from UPS. I told him I would be calling his supervisor and he stated that's his homegirl (ghetto vernacular for friend) its his hub he was not worried and that I would never receive my packages. I took a picture of his licence plate which is all I could catch as he proceeded to drive away on me and refused to give his name or badge number. The picture is fuzzy but I am sure you can make it out (88807-7A)I filed 2 complaints immediately one for refusing to deliver and the other for stating I would never receive any packages in the future. I was apologized to profusely and told I would get my packages next business day but have continued to get the same run around and blatant lies. Now after a whole week of not receiving my package due to the negligence of others I am being told their is a flag on my account that NO packaged will be delivered now or in future because a MAN is harassing the driver from my address. Again a blatant lie and not quite sure how they could get away with that as the driver has not been back to my address since that first interaction between himself and I on Monday the 4th of December so how is their now since Friday the 8th a flag on my address? This is malicious and will not be tolerated as these items came from my account manager at Wayfair who has also reached out to UPS corporate for a resolution to these shenanigans to which they also apologized and said I would have the package by Friday night without issue (I have also attached that email. I am in no frame of mind to now deal with customer service reps as they are all in cahoots with the company they work for and I am disgusted and quite frankly blown away by the process and malicious manner in which Supervisors have dealt with this as they should be able to see for themselves the disservice that is taking place here. This driver should not be an employee and the continued delay of my deliveries should be rectified in a timely fashion, having the flag removed. I do not understand how I could be told by Mangers all week also in email attached that my delivery would come Friday only then to be told there is a mysterious flag on an account for made up reasons that are clearly unacceptable. The only issue here is the driver he is not being harassed and quite frankly that is just another excuse being made instead of a solution given because it has been 6 business days that you have held my package without my consent which I think is theft of my belongings. I can be reached via email [protected]@flad.com or via phone [protected] directly to fix this issue your company has falsely created. My account manager would also like to be included on email as he has never experienced anything like this in his history of management. [protected]@wayfair.com. I thank you in advance for handling this and look forward to an expeditious resolution.

UPS semi drivers

I was driving down Pritchard Rd almost to Cisco. One of your trucks came into my lane causing me to swerve and hit the curb. It busted two of my tires and two rims. I had to go spend $1200 to get my car drivable again. I understand this is a busy time of year but if I had not been paying close attention, me and my kids may not be here. Luckily our lives were spared. However, I live on a very fixed income and don't have a ton of money just sitting around. So guess what my kids get for Christmas 2 rims and tires for my vehicle. I have lived on Pritchard my whole life and have never experienced the carelessness of the drivers this year.

UPS delivery 1z6y295r0398925699

This package arrived in Edison on 12/3. It was out for delivery a couple of times, but never made it to my porch. No signature is required. Last update was yesterday "in transit". Never saw this update before. Do you think you will ever make it to my house? It arrived from California to Edison quicker that you can get it from Edison to Sayreville. Called your Customer Service center. The man who could barely speak english was no help.

UPS missing packages

Tracked my packages and both times they are missing.
1) One large box was sitting by my mailbox, which is on a very busy street, neighbor text me it was there and when I arrived home, it was stolen.
2) Most recent delivery, the note says it was left near the front door or porch.

This was the same message for the #1 complaint, which it was NOT, it was left by the mailboxes.

Now both are missing, both are from Amazon.

I request ALL my deliveries are left by my door.

UPS shipment returned - driver's mistake made customer's headache

On 11/26/2017, I placed an order for 16 candles from Bath & Body Works (B&BW) and they shipped them to us using UPS. On 12/04/2017, 2 of the candles were delivered to my doorstep. After waiting several days for the others to arrive, I discovered that they had been sent back to B&BW. B&BW had evidently split the order into 2 shipments (due to weight/size restrictions) and the 2nd shipment was returned with the explanation that I had "Refused Delivery". That refusal was marked at exactly the same date and time that the other two candles were delivered - as if the driver left 2 candles out on my doorstep but asked me if I wanted the other 14 and I said, "No."

First of all, I never declined shipment. Second, the shipment did not require signature. My best guess is that the driver forgot the leave the second shipment and when he did realize it, instead of going through the inconvenience of bringing it to me on a second trip, he marked it as refused and returned it.

B&BW is re-sending the candles, but 4 are out of stock and I have to buy other gifts for an office Christmas party that is happening before I will get the other 12. I don't have the candles I ordered even though they were in a truck outside my home at one point, I will not get 4 of the candles that I wanted and were included in the original shipment, I have spent several hours of my time researching what happened and talking with customer service, I have to go shopping for additional Christmas gifts and I have lost confidence in UPS as a reliable provider.

This is a horrible customer experience and for a service company, the driver did not act with the customer in mind. In fact, he lied about the outcome and put the responsibility of figuring out what had happened and how to rectify the situation on me instead of taking ownership for his/her mistake and finding a solution to the problem that he had created. If I had forgotten about the order, it would have just gone away and have been forgotten. I would have expected UPS to catch this issue on their own - two packages delivered to the same home at the same time with one left at the door and the other declined should have at least raised a question.

To make matters worse, I tried to report this directly to UPS but the UPS site doesn't make it clear how to complain and their online tool for sending an email is limited to 500 characters - hardly enough to make a thorough complaint.

UPS lied to all day about the package delivery

I contacted the customer service phone number at [protected] and spoke with a gentleman named Gerome asking when my packege was going to be delivered because it showed on the website that it left the facility at 9 am and was at the facility the day before. I was told my package was going to be d love red before 9 pm the second time I called I was informed that my package is going to be delivered before 7 pm the 3 time I called it was 9 pm I was informed that I will not revive the package until Monday the 11th also the delivery was 2 day air it was supposed to be a birthday present by providing false information to me the customer representative ruined my wife's birthday because we stayed home waiting for the promised package delivery all day. Also all of the conversations are recorded so when I confronted the gentleman about what he said he told me he never said such things I would like UPS corporation to look into this matter and have some kind of solution for my problem when I pay for 2 day delivery I expect it to be here especially when it was out getting delivered and I do not appreciate being lied to so please whoever reads this I ask that you take this matter seriously because I never had this problem with ups especially when it comes to customer service representative lying and the conversations are recorded. Thank you!

UPS delivery

I waited all day yesterday for a package at 7:45 when I had not received I checked the tracking and it said The receiver was not available at the time of the first delivery attempt. A second attempt will be made. That is a lie and also they said there was a tag on my door I checked there was no tag. UGH!
Why do they hire people who lie and are lazy. I called customer service and got the basic speech about sorry we will escalate the matter. Big deal still don't have package! I will never buy anything on line that has to be shipped UPS! I got a package yesterday and today delivered by FEDEX.
