United National Bank / Scam and cheating

United States Review updated:

Contact information:

I received a phone call saying I had an overdue payday loan with this company. They said they were going to take legal action if I did not immediately pay over 500 dollars and that with legal fees it would cost me over 5000 dollars. I called the FBI and they said that since I had found it on the internet listed as a possible scam not to have anymore contact with them.

I was upset and surprised. They said they had sent me several e-mails about this issue and I received none. Be very careful of people calling to say you have payday loans that you have not paid they are usually scams.

I received a call on Friday, 1/9/09 from a Tom Parker (815-581-3801) claiming that I took out a payday loan from United National Bank for $896, but owe them $5, 000. When I ask to prove that I took out a payday loan, could not answer me and just kept on reading the information who I work for and so forth. I told him that he was nothing but a scam artist and extorting money from us as well. I also reported Tom Parker to the FBI and Attorney General in CA. Threaten me saying he was going to have me arrested, I said that I'll be waiting for him. Can't wait till the FBI knocks on his door and have him and his cronies arrested. Said that if I wanted to settle up this account that I would have to fly to CA and pay, LOL. This is a scam that is happening in the United States and if anybody threatens you, don't be afraid and by all means don't pay them a dime. Report them to the FBI and Attorney General in the state there calling from. Be sure to get there phone number and address if possible.

What happend to Barbara is happening to me now word for word.Man from United Natioanal is calling me even my friend and my Employer every day threatens me with arrest and even impersonated a police officer he claimed he is a police officer named Eric Carter and does not stop calling. At my local police station they told me to just ignore him he is a scam artist but what he's doing is illegal and i'm wondering if anyone else has gotten a call from this"Eric Carter" with a heavy Indian accent. He does not hide his phone number when he calls i guess he feels very conffident he can get away with it.He even told a woman that works at my company office that he will call the police on her when she told him to stop calling.I can not believe this i spoke to him 20 min ago and he said "i will have you arrested". I guess FBI will look into it.
