Grandmaster is a MAJOR hot head. Walks around thinking he is better than everyone else. He grabs little kids that are misbehaving be the back of their shirts and pulls them in his office. He throws things when he gets upset. Things that he is always right even when he is wrong he will be little and put you down to prove he is right even if he is wrong. They have no problems lying to you about things.
The training you receive there is not worth the money you pay. There are so many hidden fees that you aren’t told about till you join. Can’t get your black belt if you don’t go to his three day camp which is another large sum of money. For this TKD place it is all about the money.
BEWARE don’t join this place.

My kids absolutely love UMAC. Yes! It can get a bit pricey but my children are completely safe and have a wonderful time. My son is training to get his black belt. It is extra discipline having to complete a binder of everything he is learning and perfect timing for going into fifth grade. My daughter is entering 1st grade and it is the perfect level of entertainment for her. It combines playing with her friends and exercise. When they go to the afterschool program they have homework time, snack time and taekwondo time. If anything needs to be addressed with homework not getting done I address it and the issue goes away, not a big deal at all. There aren't many after school programs, and any program a child joins is going to come with fees. The black belt camp is extra training combined with graduation. If you ask me, it sounds like a lot of fun. Not everyone is going to love everything. My son tried soccer and hated it, that didn't mean that the coach was bad! He did baseball for two years and got bored of it, there was nothing wrong with those people either, just was done. I hope this helps anyone who is not so certain out there. When I walk into UMAC all I see is smiling faces. I see people to talk to. I see people enjoying themselves. I believe that's what counts!

Beware of Grandmaster Edmund Ciarfella . His temper and ego are far out of control. I believe he will go too far some day and seriously injure someone.

I like how the UMAC site has a link for "weight control" and then a picture of their porky grand master! Hahaha!
