Today I received a phone call from a 'Mark Doca' He said he was calling from "Unified Services" and started into a spiel about something I had won. I stopped him and told him I was on the do not call list and he was violating it.

"Mark" than said he was not a telemarketer but was calling to tell me I had won 1000 dollars worth... At that point I cut him off and said I wasn't interested. He told me (and I quote) ""Shut Up! Shut Your mouth and listen!"

I was shocked and asked to speak to his supervisor. He asked why. I repeated my request and was told that the supervisor wasn't available and that he (Mark) could answer any questions I had. I told him I was going to report him and he said "F*ck You!"

I told him never to call again and that I planned to report him and his company for harassment and abuse. He hung up. A few minutes later, my phone rang again. It was him. He laughed and said, "I know your name Christina, and your address. You will be sorry! F**k you!"

He then hung up! I have called my local police station who have taken a report. My attorney's office will be contacting the attorney general's office as well as several other agencies first thing tomorrow morning.

This company needs to be stopped! It is illegal to harass people and make such threats.

Thank you all for the heads up. I've gotten three calls in the last few hours; wasn't home when the first to came in, but did not answer the third, and found this site when I googled the number.

Something that's worked for me in the past is to pick up the phone but not say anything, just wait until they say something, and then immediately blow a very loud and very shrill whistle in their ear. They might think your phone is a fax number or something and take it off the list. Or they might just not want to have their ears blown out anymore and take it off the list. Either way, they won't call anymore.

Thanks again and good luck!

Yes,

If you get a call from [protected], it is Unified Services and they are indeed a scam. I was called by an Indian who called himself "Edwin Grey". Do not let them talk you into giving out your bank account information. The only thing they knew about me was my name and my current address and phone number.

These guys have called me twice now.
Luckily they have my old mailing address.
I don't know how they got that info, but it is 3 years old now.
Pretty crazy. They knew my name, my phone number, and an old address of mine.

Only thing i can think of is the old crappy cheap auto insurance i had in college... but that is just speculation.

He claimed they only pick "2 valued customers a year" and I was one of them!
They want to give you all this free stuff, but you have to pay for shipping... right.

The same thing happened to me tonight an indian lady called my cell phone and told me i won a trip and $1000 shopping spree. I knew it was to good to be true so i had asked a lot of questions since i was not compatible giving out my checking info even thou she tried so hard to get it from me. After asking a bunch of questions it seemed like she was repeating herself still trying so hard to get my checking info. Anyway after being on the phone with her for about a half hour i told her i had to speak to my husband about it before i give out that kind of information over the phone (which i am not married) she wouldn't give me her number and said she will call me tomorrow. Thank god i did not give out my info... as soon as i got off the phone i looked up UNIFIED SERVICES to see if this was a scam and thanks to your comments it is. i was so tempted to give out my info but now when the indian lady calls my phone i will tell her I'm not interested... THANKS TO ALL YOU GUYS...

Michelle,
You need to get your head out of your ###. You're trying so hard to cover your tracks you look robotic. I've seen your 'replies' all over the internet. You're a fraud as well as the company you work for. There's something wrong with people being called and cussed out - how do you explain that? Are these $2 an hour workers that go on commission and the more they cuss at people the more they make a sale? Are they tied to a chair until a sale comes up? Get your stories straight - people are coming after you and you know it. Get another job.

Michelle,

Your response does not address the issue at hand here. Not even close. This is a serious problem, that needs attention and adequate handling. NOT the same four paragraphs copied and pasted on every complaint thread. THIS is straight up harassment.

IF you are, indeed, a legitimate business; the very next thing you do is fire that caller. I ensure you a lawsuit will be on your head if you don't stop it today.

Everything written before me is true! These guys are rude, and won't stop calling or listen to your rebuttals. I'm calling my bank now to warn them that "Unified Services" may have information that they are not authorized to have and, as such a large banking institution, they should be protecting their client's information more carefully.

They also called me tonight wanting my checking account and I told them no and they just wouldn't give up. So i told them to get me off the calling list and he argued that they couldn't do that because they weren't selling anything and I have to take this prize. So I told them I was going to contact my attorney to check this company out and he said I didn't need that and I told him to call me back tomorrow. I am trying to get as much information out of these people just incase we can go further by sueing them for harassment. So how about we all work together and find out what our next move.

Oh my gosh... so what happened? Did he really have your account info? When they called me, they knew my full name, address, phone number, and even my bank and the routing number. I DID NOT give them my account number, but how did they get all of that other info? SCARY! I have a feeling they will be calling back, since they have already called 3 times, and can't seem to take no for an answer. I don't even know what to say to them. Hanging up doesn't work, claiming that they have the wrong number doesn't work, even yelling at them doesn't work. I'm all out of ideas.

I had the same thing basically happen to me tonight. I realized it was a scam when they tried so hard for me to confirm my account numbers. Even after I had told them no thanks. It took an hour of arguing and hanging up on him and he kept calling back. My husband intervened. It wasn't pretty and at the end of the conversation the guy said "F**k you and your wife. I have your informations and your account is f**ked!" I called my bank immediately.
