Do not buy a After Market Auto Warranty from Ultimate Warranty Corporation. I purchased a After Market Auto Warranty from Ultimate Warranty Corporation and I have had nothing but problems. Ultimate warranty was supposed to give me an auto warranty with no deductible. This was in my contract, No deductible. They made a mistake on their end as a result they charged me an extra $50 for any claim. They did not honor their contract and continued to charge me a deductible until I threatened lawsuit and contacted the regional sale rep for Ultimate Warranty Corporation.

The second experience I had with them was worse. Ultimate warranty only replaces your parts with parts from a JUNK YARD. They do not use automotive parts form dealers or ever after market retailers. Only Auto Parts form the JUNK YARD. Read the words carefully. Under the parts section of the contract, it reads they will use recycled parts! It also stats that they use parts that are of equal kind and quality to those used by most automotive repair shops! What repair shop suggests using junk yard parts? My mechanic was outraged.

Filling claims with this company takes days and getting ones Car repaired takes weeks. Their contract implies that you will get a rental if your car is in the shop for more than 8 hours. They will not honor this. They have worded the contract carefully in order to never have to provide you with a rental car. They do this by wording the contract to read the repair hours must add up to be 8 hours. Most repairs do not take this long, but given that it takes Ultimate Warranty Corporation 3 days to approve a claim and another week to ship your auto part from a junk yard you will be out of a car for a week.

If they feel the need they will send out an inspector to second guess your mechanics work. They do this to try and get out of paying any claim. Their customer car sucks. You sit on hold for hours. If you try to make a complaint they will send you to a manager. One manager just hung upon me! If you get the claims department on the phone do not let them “call you back” they will not!

Over all Ultimate Warranty Corporation is a huge Scam. Do not purchase any of their automotive warranty products. If they offer any other products, Home Warranties, Product Warranties, Road Side Assistance Programs not do business with Ultimate Warranty Company. I filled a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

So it has been a couple years and today I decided to see if there were any updates on "ultimate warrenty" aparently there hasnt been any changes. Very frustrating still to this day that nothing ever came about this. Where are these ###s? I want my money back plus intrest! I paid for a "extended warrenty" for 1800 or 2000 and 3 months after I bought the vehicle this ### hole closes their doors and then a 1 year down the road I find out all of this information when my transmission goes out! So then I am screwed no warrenty and have to pay out of my pocket to get it fix so another 1500 bucks! Sucks! I WANT MY MONEY! I want to find the people that are responsible for this and take them to court --- but im sure they are sitting the beach sipping cocktails and using all of my money and everyones elses to pay for it!

Do not purchase any service contracts from this company! I purchased a 5 year unlimited aggregate limit tire and wheel contract from this company. As per the contract the company is supposed to repair or repair the tire as long as they pre-authorize the work to be done. If you put in multiple claims against this company, they will purposely try to inconvenience you by making you go to multiple repair shops, wait hours or days for their inspector to inspect the tire, threaten to cancel the contract, etc... Last month I was pre-authorized to have my tire repaired. After submitting the paperwork to Auto Knight, I received a "claim is denied" letter from the company. I contacted the company and was replied to by owner Jeff Rizzo. It seems that the company has a problem with the service center where they authorized the work to be done, and they are taking out their grief on me. The owner of Auto Knight tried to intimidate me with his unprofessional and threatening e-mail responses to me. He initially accused me of lying and threatened to alert the authorities. In a later correspondence his employee Eric Zengbe stated that Mr. Rizzo will agree to pay my claim, but only after they receive paperwork from me to cancel the contract. Basically, this company is trying to use underlying tactics to persuade me to cancel my contract by withholding my pre-authorized claim payment. After looking at this board, it seems that this person Jeff Rizzo had dealings with a company that went out of business known as Ultimate Warranty Corporation. Ultimate Warranty must have left many people unhappy. On December 26, 2007, Mr. Rizzo even replied to a complaint on this board and accused a poster of "hiding under a false name, obviously just another coward with a voice."
That post by Mr. Rizzo should tell you all you need to know about Auto Knight. Don't do business with Auto Knight or parent company Fortegra Financial.

Ultimate Warranty of Arizon is no good, also. I paid cash in 2006 for my SUV Suzuki and the seven year extended warranty the Tempe Dealership had to offer. The a/c motor just when out, blewing HOT air like the Warranty. The new dealership in Indianapolis informed me today 9/9/09. So am late finding out that my warranty is worthless. I will need more information on the class action lawsuit so anyone with information please reply to this complaint! and Thank You for all your help from this single middle age woman. code name is Ladylong

I too had bought a warranty over 5 years ago - and was told if I didn't use the warranty I would get the full purchase amount back - which was $1480 - and I too was told they aren't paying them out - so, we hold up to our end of the deal and they don't have to? The dealerships push you into buying the warranty and then nobody stands behind them - I am so angry! That's 1480 I could really use!

I have purchased the warranty with Ultimate Warranty Corp back in February 2005 for $1500. Last year in March 2008 I had work done on my car that came out to be a little over $700. Ultimate Warranty approved the claim, but as everyone else, I am still waiting for my refund, and today is July 7, 2009. I just spoke to some lady that I could barely understand, and she said that the company is in receivership and that it could take up to 3 years to get the money back. I asked to speak to someone from ultimate corp, but she said that that is not possible.
Do you guys think that my personal lawyer could do anything in this case?

My husband and i purchased an Ultimate Warranty for $1200.00 with our vehicle and today we learned that we needed approx. $600.00 worth of work done and decided to utilize our warranty. THIS is what happened.When i called the number listed in my warranty, I was told by "a third party" TMA risk management that i would have to be responsible for the cost of repairs after they authorized the work and that they MIGHT be able to reimburse me but it was not a guarantee. The dealership where i purchased the vehicle told me that they no longer do business with Ultimate and there was nothing they could do. So i decided to ask the service department (at a different dealership) to call and get authorization to do the work, but when they saw my paperwork from Ultimate, they refused to even call them because they havent received payment for other claims from other customers who had ultimate warrantys. The bottom line is that this business has stole money from me and thousands of other costumers...

I have read all of these complaints, I am in agreement. UW needed to let all of customers know about this receivership when it took place. I was told I was going to be out of pocket $600. UW would reimburse me $450.

Put me on this class action suit.

I bought a 06 Durango from a person I thought was my freind. I also bought an ultimate waranty. After reading many of the above statements, did the dealers know these were going bad? If they did, are they not guilty of Fraud? Can we go after the dealers instead of Ultimate? Just some ffod for thought.

When I purchased the extended warranty, no other option was given me by the dealer that sold it to me.
After several claims, I was asked by one dealership, "Why didn't you buy the Chrysler Pre-owned Extended Warranty"? My answer, "This was the only one to dealer told me about". In my opinion the Corporation should step up to the plate and tell the dealers that sold these warranties to cover expences at least equal to what the customer paid for the worthless warranty. I also have found out, numerous warranty companies are available. I have been to several dealership to get repair work done and not one bill has been paid.Beware

I paid $2000 for my extended warranty and am being told that Ultimate is in receivership. They told me that I would have to pay for all repairs and I would be refunded. They told me to take the vehicle back to the Mercedes service center and have the service rep call them. I already know that the $4000 in work will come out of my pocket. The thing that kills me is that the dealer that sold me the car probaably knew that this paper was not worth two cents.

Hello, I purchased the ultimate warranty for my 02 Acura 3.2 TL. I got a problem with my car driver side rear window and took it to the shop. They told me I have to replace window regulator. So I called up Ultimate warranty and asked if it covers that and they said it is not covered. In my brouchore they gave me while buying the warranty it is listed in the parts covered, but I never read the original contract and in my original contract power window motor is covered but not the regulator. If is cheating, they advertise something and they are giving something. I am up for the lawsuit

Hello, I purchased the Ultimante Warrenty for my 03 gmc about 2 years ago. The first claim I filed they paid quick and efficiant. This week I had a steering shaft put in my truck by a gm dealership who called and got authorization to do the repair. The catch was I had to pay then I would be reimbursed (First mistake). So I paid for the shaft then when I called in to get my money I was told it did not get filed properly for the clam, so theirfor I would not be reembursed. I don't know about you people but I did not pay 1800 dollars for a warenty to get riped off. I am up for the lawsuit.

I have not received anything from this company for a repair back in October of 2007. I was told that I may receive something once the case is settled in the South Carolina courts. Although, what funds or capital is remaining goes out in specific order. Basically, the lawyers will get the remaining and nothing will be left to pay any claims that are with-standing with former uwc customers, so I am not holding my breath.

What really puzzles me is that I have received nothing in the mail to notify me of this situation. Had I not had a repair, I would never had known that anything was wrong. I paid upfront for my policy but I am sure that many make monthly payments and are still making them on a bogus policy. So not only has Ultimate and Capital Assurance Risk Retention Group defrauded people... they continue to defraud.

My story is similar to all of these:

I purchased my Jetta in a Chicago suburb- I was 17 years old, naive, and believed everything the car salesman said. They encouraged me to purchase the after market warranty and said they were giving it to me for a great deal $1500.00. I felt protected by purchasing this.

I will say Ultimate Warranty paid for one repair in 2005. More recently in 2008, my Jetta broke down because the water pump failed- not only was my car a lemon, but I learned a great amount about the warranty company once I needed a repair. The mechanic fixed it for $500 and told me they contacted the warranty company and it is now in my hands to get them to pay me. I paid the mechanic, called the warranty company and told them what happened and how the mechanic filed the claim before doing any work and I asked how long it will be until I get reimbursed. The representative told me she didn't know and couldn't tell me when I was going to get paid. I laughed in surprise and continued with "will it be a month or a year?" She said it could be either. I was dumfounded. She said they were currently in a class act lawsuit and owed over $42 million in claims. I hung up abruptly and tried to contact the dealership who sold me the bunk warranty. This is where it gets even better- I called the dealership and there was a message "MCLS has closed, due to a large volume of callers, please leave a message and we will try to contact you."

I believe I was sold a stolen vehicle and I was sold a bunk warranty- what kind of world are we living in? Obviously a world with crooks and dumb ### like me! You live and you learn right?

I am from Illinois and I too am experiencing the Ultimate Headache. Back in early December of 2007 I had work done on my SUV that supposedly was still under extended warranty. I was told by Ultimate Warranty (UW) to pay out of pocket ($800.00) and submit for payment. In January 2008, UW acknowledge receipt of my invoice and payment. As of today 5/20/08, I have not seen a penny back from them. Every so often I call UW to inquire about my reinbursement. I am always told that the courts have not approved funds for them to start reviewing claims yet.
After reading all these comments, I don't think I will ever see any money. Next time I will do a better job of researching an extended warranty company. I will NOT go with whatever company is PUSHED on me by the dealership.
Count me in on any CLASS ACTION SUIT.

I purchased a warranty from this company two years age. Although I have as of yet to have any major car problems, I did have to pay a measly $35 for a temperature sensor, after already paying $50 for diagnostics, and $50 for labor. This may not seem like a lot of money to some, but I am a signle mother that make $12 an hour. After rent and food and daycare, there is NO WAY that I would ever be able to pay a claim if something detrimental ever happened to my car. I barely had the money to pay for the temp sensor, which is something the the warranty company had already told the mechanic they would pay for! My car, and the warranty have been paid off for over a year, and now I would like half of my money back or a two year warranty to cover any future costs I may have. If anyone knows how I go about getting some payment, feel free to email me!

I had a letter from an auto warranty service and it sounded like a good deal so I called them. I don't remember the name of the company.

The product sounded really good and the price was good. I then went online to the BBB and checked their file. They had over 100 outstanding (not resolved) complaints, which means they did not or were not able to make their complaining customers happy. I called them back and told them they had an outrageous number of unresolved complaints and said I would not do business with them. The sales rep said 100 complaints is not a lot since they do a lot of business nationwide. I knew better!

In summary, I did not do business with them and was glad I checked with the BBB. Buyer Beware! Be careful who you do business with. Always check with the local BBB. If they are not listed or not a member, check with their local attorney general and their state governor's office, consumer complaint division. There may be former or active complaints at these offices and a good resource for information. If a company has any negative info in their files or active consumer complaints they have not resolved in a satisfactory manner, do not do busines with them! It's that simple. look for another company to do business with.

That's the good thing about capitalism. There's always competition and you can take your money elsewhere. Be smart. If you're naive, innocent or careless, there will always be someone out there to take advantage of you and you'll get screwed.

As far as after market warranties, check with the car's manufacturer - they may have a good extended warranty you can purchase, which will be more reputable than a private warranty company. I bought an after-market warranty from a third party when I bought my Acura. When I had to use them for service on my AC, I found out that Acura had an even better extended warranty I could have purchased had I known about it. I was able to get the warranty company to fix the AC but it was a really big hassle and they would not pay for a rental.

I had used my warranty a few years ago when my brake caliper gave out. I paid my $50 deductible and they paid for my parts and labor with their corporate credit card. In Nov 07 my fuel pump gave out. Knowing I had extended warranty, I took it to a Chevrolet dealerto repair it. Woody Folsom Chevrolet was good enough to let me use a loaner car for a week while they were bickering over how much Ultimate Warranty was willing to pay. My repairs came to $654 and they expected me to pay this up front and wait for them to reimburse me only $480. My parents (who are retired) put this charge on their credit card so I could get my car repaired. After several months and phone calls later, I was told they FINALLY rehabilitated and are going to start paying these claims, but it could take several more months to receive. I wish we could sue them! It's such a joke, they will still honor the warranty. My warranty has expired. I paid over $2000 for it. I complained to the BBB and they failed to answer. It has been a horrible experience. I will NEVER buy another Chevrolet or outside extended warranty policy ever

I am in the same boat as the many peopl above. I have had my car into the dealer where it was purchased twice fo rthe same issue, this time I decided to take it directly to a Ford dealership, I told them I had the Ultimate Warrenty, in which I paid $1, 800.00 for and they told me they didn't except that warrenty, I said, I thought I was able to take it where ever and he said, yes, they tell you that but we don't except it because it is junk and they don't know how to pay claims, so I decide to call Ultimate and see what can be done, they in return try telling me I do not have a warrenty with them, I said well I am looking at the signed application right now and have had claims on this in the past. To make a long story short after talking to the company 10 times, we find out that I do indeed have a policy but they messed up and have a differant policy number than that on my application. Anyways, I talk to Ultimate and they then tell me taht as of Oct 2007 any repair work done must be paid in full by ME and then I will in turn be reimbursed. So I plead with the Ford dealer who finally calls the claim in so that I am able to be reimbursed. He calls Ultimate who tells him that I will not be refunded at this time and that they have no idea when I will be reimbursed if I will even be reimbursed, I am so pissed at this point. I told the shop to go ahead with the repairs as I need my car and if I didn't get it fixed my rear ebd would be shot, so now I had to shell out $936.00. I am livid. I am totally interested in a class action lawsuit or whatever, count me in. I am going to try to get reimbursed some if not all from my dealer her sold me this bogus ### warrenty but don't know where that will go. Please email me with any info you may have on where I go from here.

I purchased my warranty from Car Warranties Direct, which at some point became Ultimate. First, I have had this policy since 2001 and have uses the warranty coverage several times for a '99 Mercedes so I have definitely received my money's worth. Ultimate has paid out 2-3 times the cost of my policy for various repairs. It was to expire in 2009 so fortunately I only lost about 1 year of coverage. Payment was never to repair shops "promptly". At best there was a 3-4 day delay after the repair was done and when payment was received. At worst it was 3 weeks.

At first I doubted the claim that they were providing "junk yard parts", but in retrospect I now believe this to be true. An A/C compressor had to be replaced twice because the replacement unit provided by Ultimate didn't work correctly. A new or reconditioned unit simply would not have had these problems.

I now believe that I was extremely lucky that a $1, 400 claim I had in Aug. 07 was eventually paid. It took a LOT of effort by myself and my dealer, and the car was at the dealership for about 3 weeks. Ultimate played all sorts of games - claimed more than once that they didn't receive the correct documentation re: the repair, then several days of downtime due to "computer system problems", then several more days of back log caused by the "down time", etc. No one ever answered their phones, and I left dozens of messages and sent many faxes to every fax # at the company I could find. Eventually I found a route thru their automated phone system to get directly to the company officers - that were listed on their website. I began leaving messages for every officer listed. I don't know if this really had any affect at all, but payment was received a couple of days after I did this.

I just has another repair done on my car and of course didn't even bother to try to contact Ultimate - although maybe I will just to hear first hand what's going on now.

Overall, Ultimate was the worst company I have ever dealt with in my life - I suppose characteristic of one that was experiencing financial problems. I learned a valuable lesson. I do believe in extended warranties for certain auto manufacturers, i.e., Mercedes, but I will ONLY purchase a warranty offered by the manufacturer itself.

I guess I have the same story as many others. I purchased my warranty through Dealer Services after my intial extended warranty had elapsed. I now have a truck leaking oil all over the garage floor and a prospective $800 bill to pay to replace a transmission seal. I believe I've been doubly ripped off, as Dealer Services are still out there selling contracts to unsuspecting folks like me. There is no indication in their sales literature that you are purchasing a contract with a third party and all they appear willing to do is to pass the buck to NAWS. If you want to be infuraited to the point of distraction you can listen to their hold message that continues to tell you how they offer "complete peace of mind" [protected]). Needless to say I've wasted my breath giving them a complete piece of my mind. I am still paying the monthly payments to as to stop would cause my contract to expire. I would welcome the opportunity to join any class action that is established.

Well I had the same horrible results with my ultimate warranty. My suv has been in the shop 2 weeks waiting for JUNKYARD transfercase to arrive. This company is a complete rip off. I blame it on the car sellers. There all ripoffs if they offer the ultimate warranty. Guess I got duped!

Ultimate Warranty and all of its sister companies that fall under the Capital Assurance group are now in receivership... aka bankrupt. They were supposed to have close to 40 million dollars put aside in order to pay claims and when audited they were found to only have $15,000 so a little short. Now all claims have been placed on hold until they finish trying to figure out where the money went and what to do with the company. That is why when you file a claim now you wait on hold forever with every other pissed off policy holder and also why when you do get through they tell you to pay it yourself and maybe someday they will pay you back if they figure out where to find the money.

I agree about the law suit. I just found out today about all of this. I took my van in to be serviced and was told it needed fixed. I haven't had any problems getting it fixed before today and now I have to pay for the repair out of pocket. I think it will be very unlikely that I will ever get reimbursed since they are in the red 48 million dollars. My husband just purchased a vehicle in 2006 so we are out $2800 in the contract price for our two vehicles. If anyone finds out about a law suit, I too am in.

Go back to your car dealer that sold that warranty for repairs and demand they honor the contract. They received hefty commissions and spiffs for selling these products. There was plenty of bad signs out there for these dealers to quit selling these products but instead they made the decision to continue with them because of the profitability of selling them. Also keep checking the status of Capital Assurance at www.doi.sc.gov there you should find answers to some of your questions and there should be some directive to what actions you should be taking in the near future.

I feel the same as everyone else who has complained about Ultimate Warranty Company. I have been scammed out of $1800.00 myself. Same story as all of the above. Had to pay out of pocket and company has not reimbursed me yet. Never again will I purchase another warranty outside of the dealer. I've been advised that GM has the best warranties. I too have recieved the professional chase, our car needed a new tranny (volkswagon). after all the ordeals i was told that i have to pay, then get reimbursed, the bill came to $4,100. they said they will only cover $1800. they also said the i should recieve the check in 3 weeks. to no available no check yet. I am interested in pursuing this company and the company that sold me the plan. i was told at the time of purchase that this company was 4 stars.
I am totally upset with them because it affected not only christmas but my bills that couldn't get paid.

I WOULD LIKE TO SEE THESE MANAGERS OF THIS COMPANY BEHIND BARS FOR A LONG TIME. I AM IN ON A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT.

I paid out 2100.00 just before Christmas to have my truck repaired. They said they would send me a check in a few weeks. I called back today and the girl said they are not paying anything out right now. They would go back to court the end of January, and then they will know if they can pay anything then. I would also be interested in filing a class action law suit if it is even possible now.

I am a shop owner and have been waiting since September 6 2007 to be paid for the work I did on a UWC holders vehicle. I was told what to do and filled out the invoice as instructed by the claims adjuster and faxed it to them with the customers signature. I was told that I would be paid in a short time by credit card over the phone. WHEN? A short time on planet EARTH or a short time on the Universal scale? I have spent HOURS on the phone and have sent faxes and emails that go unanswered. This is the worst company I have delt with and will no longer allow any warranty company to pay for repairs. I require that my customers pay me in full and they can deal with getting their money back. I am thinking of driving to the office in Rocky River Ohio and getting my money out of someone. Either that or going to one of the officers insurance company in Kingston, PA and getting my money. I contacted the BBB in Ohio and they finally gave up on trying to resolve this matter. I can only imagine how the money they took from people was spent. Bet they have nice cars and nice houses. I just want my money that was promised to me. I paid for the parts and paid my employee to do the job. Is it wrong for me to want my money?

I also have paid $1400.00 for a warranty contract with Ultimate Warranty in November 2006. I just had to pay $616.00 to get my vehicle out of the shop. The mechanic was put on hold for some time and was then advised all monies was frozen and I would have to pay for the repair myself.

I had another experience with them back in February of 2007. The front differential went out and my vehicle was towed in to the shop. After my mechanic found out the problem he called and was advised an inspector would have to come out and inspect the part before they would authorize the repair. After waiting another 7 days the inspector arrived and authorized the repair. He at that point told my mechanic they would be sending in the part and it would take another 5 - 7 days for the part to arrive. My mechanic asked why and was told they would be sending in a recycled part. He then called me and I ended up paying $500.00 in addition to the $100.00 for a new part. At that time I found out they actually use parts from the junk yard to make repairs. When I purchased the contract I was told I would have a rental if the vehicle was in the shop. Well, that is a big joke as well. They only give you a rental while your vehicle is being worked on. So, while we were waiting for the inspector to come in and give his blessing I was without a vehicle.

The roadside assistance is also a joke. I called them back in February and was advised the only calls they were handling were emergencies due to the weather and the didn't know when they would be able to come and get my vehicle off the expressway. I called my mechanic and he said he would call the company he uses and see if they could come and get it which they did. I called them back and they said it would be okay. Well, since I arranged for my own tow it took me about 2 months to get my check in the mail. I then called them in November and again was advised they would come and get it when they could. I called my mechanic and he said he was getting ready to close and since he has a gated facility my vehicle would be left sitting in front of his facility on the side street. I didn't want my car sitting along the expressway nor did I want my car sitting along a side street until they opened the next day. He advised if I used his company they have a key and my vehicle would be pulled into the gated facility. I felt this was the best option for me so I called them back and was advised that would be fine. Well, when it came time for them for refund me my money
I was advised since I arranged my own towing 2 times they would not refund my money. So, I am out $100.00 on that one as well.

I have made many phone calls and no one can seem to tell me anything. I would be willing to join any lawsuits against this company. Someone should be held responsible for this!

i have had same problem with uwc i had to pay out of my own pocket for repairs and they said it would be 5 to 6 weeks for reimbursement 5 to 6 weeks's ago.im would want to get in on the LAWSUIT.they made me sit in the dealership for 6 hours waiting for them to call back with payment for the dealer so i could get my car.then to find out there computer's were down and they could not process any payment.why could'nt they tell me that when i first called them know they cant send payment i would'nt of fixed my car then.i faxed the invoice to them like 12 to 20 times and mailed it 3 times and still they say they have not recieved it.i emailed everyone left message's with manager's supervisor's you name it no calls back but one and when i pick the phone up they hang up on me.terriable customer service ever.i would be all in on the lawsuit.i paid like 12 to 15 hundred for the warranty and never got anything out of it only a headache and a broke bank account and time out of my life for sitting in the dealer for half of the day.i hope we do go to court and they have to pay everyone back for every cent they paid.

Same run-around. Want to send "their" own parts. Slow response - on hold. Hung up on etc...
What a mess. My dealer will not install "their" parts. Stuck between a rock and that great hard place.
Will not longer pay the shop directly. Only want to reimburse me - but can't get it fixed anyway with "their" junkyard or stolen parts!

These people are so incredible! How is it that I can sit on hold for 20+ minutes and everyone who answers the phone ate Ultimate is a "Supervisor"? Amazing, no?

Well I dropped my truck off for repairs on 11-07-2007. On 11-26-2007, after all their delay tactics, the approved my claim and authorized the shop to do the work.

Today [protected]) I was told they are no longer paying any claims. When I asked how long this has been going on, the "Supervisor" told me since 10-31-2007. Now that sounds like out and out frua, the UWC clearly knew I would not be re-paid for my repairs and she tried to tell me the shop knew----liar! I was on a 3 way with the shop when he got the authorization...never did they say, "oh by the way, the customer will not be repaid, since we are in recievership"

What to do? I am exploring whether or not this constitutes fruad in Nevada, as this truck is under finance through a bank and in Nevada extended warranties fall uner insurance regulations. If that does not work, I hope to somehow get in on a class action suit. Does anyone know about putting a charge in dispute with mastercard? Maybe that will work?

I completely agree that Ultimate Warranty has not demonstrated good customer service nor any respect in honoring their contracts.

About three months ago, our transmission in our Honda Odyssey went out. They replaced it with a "recycled" transmission with a one-year warranty (which went out not even three months later).

In addition to that, we had to pay for the transmission flush and the diagnostic our of our own pocket. So, instead of it costing around $100 for the repair, it cost us closer to $250.

That transmission flush is really part of the repair ... the only way that it wouldn't have required a flush would have been if a brand new transmission had been installed. ... Which they refused to do.

My husband dealt with their customer service department. When he told the manager he would complain to the BBB, they responded, "Go ahead. We don't care."

We would be very interested in being included in a class-action suit against Ultimate Warranty. VERY interested.
