Ultimate Executive Travel Better Business Bureau

Before anything else, go to GOOGLE.com and check out the following 20/20 ABC NEWS report on the Better Business Bureau: November 12, 2010 Investigative Report!

HERE ARE THE TOP TRAVEL COMPLAINTS THAT WE SHOULD REALLY WORRY ABOUT:
1. The number one complaint among all air travelers is the unacceptable size of airline seats. Scientists and health officials report the increasing girth of US citizens yet most airlines continue to offer the same unacceptable seat. Travelers need not be obese to take issue with the size of an airline seat, even healthy weight individuals express dissatisfaction. “I’m petite, yet I can’t get comfortable in the space US airline carriers assign. I feel like I have to keep my arms tight against my body.”

2. Lost luggage landed in the second spot among Destination Vacations International members’ complaints. A vacation can be totally ruined by lost or delayed luggage. One traveler reported: “We were so excited to start our ski trip. We never dreamed of a ‘sick-out’ among baggage handlers would cause our luggage to be left behind in Philadelphia. The luggage was delayed for 2 days. I think the airline offered $100 per traveler, not nearly enough to get boots, hats, gloves and rent ski equipment. We lost two days of our vacation.”

3. Complaints about airport delays and cancelled flights ranked third. Complaints on this issue rated highly among Destination Vacations International members because they often feel helpless when faced with delayed and/or cancelled flights. In some cases travelers are at the mercy of Mother Nature as storms, ice or fog delay the start of their vacation plans. Frustration levels run high when air carriers cancel flights forcing hundreds to the understaffed customer service desk to make other plans.
4. Destination Vacations International members reported unanticipated seat assignment changes as their fourth biggest travel complaint. As airlines make equipment changes on routes, previously assigned seats can be automatically reassigned when a new class of aircraft is used. This affects vacationers traveling with small children the most as they are often no longer sitting together. Unfortunately, busy stewards/stewardesses distance themselves from the very problem they created. One angry customer explains: “I presented my confirmation which clearly showed my family seat assignments next to one another. The stewardess said there was nothing she could do but that I should try to trade seats with other passengers. I paid them for a product that included seats together. They don’t provide the product they sold me and I have to be the one to beg passengers to trade? It’s ridiculous and bordering on fraudulent.”

5. Customers really dislike being put in “prison on the tarmac”, which earned final spot on the DVI list of common travel complaints. The proposal of a traveler’s bill of rights was a hot topic after public outrage regarding numerous incidents of flyers being forced to remain on the tarmac in their seatbelts with no access to restrooms, water or food. Most incidents are not as egregious as this but even an extra hour taxing or waiting in line on the tarmac can be stressful. The department of transportation and the avation consumer protection division has developed a 58 page document entitled “Development of Contingency Plans for Lengthy Airline On-Board Ground Delays”. This document spells out for the airline industry the basic needs of passengers including food, hydration, clean environment, access to lavatory facilities, information and the ability to communicate.

Ultimate Executive Travel No Refund

Received a postcard to attend a vacation travel service presentation through World Travel in return I would receive a complimentary 8 day cruise for two. Left the meeting with my cruise voucher did as it said and sent my $248. I then received my certificate 5 weeks later stating that i had to pay up another $399 per person, a $49 per person confirmed booking fee, and upgrading fee (the room is only an entry level room with bunks) for a 7 day cruise. Needless to say i was outraged. Trying to get a refund but obviously the company refuses. Hopefully you are now truly informed of the final price of this Complimentary cruise.

I can gladly say that ultimate travel returned my money. I'm satisfied with the outcome just sad it had to happen but I guess we know now how these things work.

The owner of the company has opened up another travel agency; he uses several names for the business. Ultimate Executive Travel and Get Outta Town Travel. He is the one that also handled the travel for the California residents too. He does not use any computers as all travel agencies do, he only uses paper files, and it is easier to dispose of when the authorities finally catch him. He and his wife are a team; their names are Charles (Chuck) Maguire and Kelly Maguire. Address is 1903 Grant Avenue Philadelphia PA 19115. Phone [protected] fax [protected].email addresses are: chuck@ugetouttatowntravel.com and Kelly@ugetouttatowntravel.com. Chuck tells people that he is not a travel agent; he says that he is the owner and tour guide. They have a store front and a large office set up, but no travel brochures. He has advertised on craigslist Philadelphia to hire travel agents and tells them that he is a license travel agent for eight months; also that he does a lot of business in California. He states that he works with many cruises lines, though he is NOT CLIA certified to sell them. The office does not have any qualified people to sell travel; he has a woman that works there that is very unprofessional, extremely rude as she wears very unprofessional clothing that is five sizes to small and likes to show off her tattoos. They seem to move around from state to state, their phone recording is from a cruise agency that had been located at this address for many years. That company moved from this address over 3 years ago. Someone needs to stop Charles, Chuck to his friends and his scamming wife Kelly from stealing from travelers. The local news channels need to be contacted by as many people as possible who they have ripped off! 6abc.com, nbc10.com, fox29 all in Philadelphia .Kelly-Saunders Maguire · Office Manager/Travel Consultant at Get Outta Town Travel, wife of Chuck

Marty York was one of my sales pitch people up there. He played "Yeah Yeah" in the movie "Sandlot" years ago. Shame shame shame on you Marty. They looked me right in the eye and lied to my face. Is this what becomes of our child actors now? Wow. I feel so stupid for being jipped like this. But at least I can sleep at night.

I, too, went to the Valencia offices to listen to their travel presentation after receiving a postcard in the mail. I actually was interested in what they had to say and figured if I didn't like it much, I'd still get a free cruise. Well, $10K is A LOT of money to be asking for so called "first class" travel services. I kinda doubted that. But I went ahead and signed the form, sent in my $250.-- deposit - via cashiers check as that is mandatory. And 5 weeks, received nothing. I called them tonight and they told me to address any questions I might have to them online. Well, in that process, I began a search on this company (something I should have done before I ever set foot in their slimy offices) and I find all these complaints. Now, I am just waiting to receive the bad news. That I will have to pony up more $$$. These people selling at this company were particularly swarmy. I thought it that night, but figured well, they are sales people. However not all people in sales are like these special ones. The lowest of the ###. I have a inkling to take another ride up to Santa Clarita and stand outside their doors handing out printed copies of these complaints to people. People beware! And I have known this all my life, but NOTHING IF FREE. Why I thought this was an okay deal ... is beyond me. I hope they get what's coming to them. Swarmy ugly people up there.

And I bet everyone here was asked to sign a form at the World Wide Travel presentation in valencia stating that you received the 'gift' that you were promised by them for attending as described, and signing a form stating that World Wide Travel are not responsible for the Cruise because it is offered by a third-party. And I bet everyone signed the form without thinking twice. And I bet you were led out of the back entrance "because the front doors were locked" so the next round of victims couldn't see you.

Now, why would a travel company that claims to get the best discounts in town, need to use a third-party to fulfill their promises of a cruise? Isn't booking travel what they do!?

Now, who would like to go on this presentation, sit through the sales talk, say no to everything, and when asked to sign those forms, ask why you should sign a form that states you received your cruise when all you have been given is a piece of paper with a picture of a boat on it and a request for Money? What if you say that World Wide Travel promised a FREE Cruise, not a badly printed picture of a Boat. You were not promised a form and a demand for money, you were promised a FREE cruise. Tell them that is what you want, that is what you came for, and that is what their company does.

Don't sign the form, whatever you do. They promised you a Free Cruise on the Postcard. So, once you have escaped from their hot office (i.e AC has broken conveniently to make you want to leave quicker and ask no questions about the cruise) Now, write a legal nastygram, take them to small claims court, get your friend-who-is-a-lawyer to write on your behalf, and post this everywhere you can to get others to do the same.

Ultimate Executive Travel free travel voucher ripoff

I received an Ultimate Executive Travel Cruise vacation passport, 3, 4, 5 or 7 night FREE cruise voucher, when I attanded a sales presentation to World Travel Services, in Long Beach, CA. Here's the ripoff; to receive ANY information on this FREE cruise voucher, you have to send Ultimate Executive Travel a deposit of $258. After 60 days wait for the 3 page travel packet, you choose your cruise. Wrong, you don't choose your cruise you can
only recieve a cruise they have available. Forget the 7 day to anywhere.
And choosing the time you wish to travel is bogus. If you happen to choose a month which their availability is "blacked out" they will not look, up any other date, the cruise you wish to take may be available. So setteling for a 3 day inside cabin with a bunk bed is the only cruise available. I agreed to book this cruise. Cost, $927.00 to be paid to Ultimate Executive Travel for my FREE cruise. I checked with the cruise line and I can book the exact same cruise on the exact date for $658. including all fees and port taxes. Is this a RIPOFF, oh no doubt. So far I have not gotten my deposit money back from Ultimate Executive Travel.

********************************* BUYER BEWARE ***********************************

JUST AN FYI- PORT CHARGES (NCF'S) are only approximately $159.00/ per person for a 7 night sailing and GOVERNMENT TAXES AND FEES (MISCELLANEOUS CHARGES) should be approximately $60.00/ per person... TOTAL PORT FEES AND TAXES FOR TWO (2) ADULTS ON A 7 NIGHT SAILING SHOULD BE APPROXIMATELY $440.00!

Shorter sailings (3 and 4 nights) should TOTAL approximately $298.00 for two (2) adults.
PORT CHARGES AND TAXES VARY DEPENDING ON THE PORT OF DEPARTURE AND LENGTH OF CRUISE SO RATES ARE APPROXIMATE

IF YOU PAID MORE THAN THAT YOU HAVE BEEN VICTIMS OF FRAUD AND SHOULD CONTACT THE ATTORNEY GENERAL AND THE CRUISE LINE!

I am also a victum of these two scam companies and am outraged by their rude behavior. Shame on all of us for being sucked into their hype. Research, fineprint and all, they are in violation of outright fraud if you ask me. I will definitely look into Angell Law Services to establish a Class Action Suit. I asked for my money back and they told me I did not do it within the three days. I wanted my money back based on lack of performance on their part, not based on a 36-hour change of mind. I had absolutely no regrets until I asked them to perform; they could not even beat internet prices as they claimed they could. I have not read one single favorable review. As a member, WWT has a help menu on their site that asks if you want someone to contact you to help plan a trip. I filled out the form four months ago. I'm still waiting.

Same thing happened to my husband and I last year in June. We went to a WorldWide Travel presentation in June of 2011. Sent Ultimate Executive Travel $248.00 for supposedly port and tax fees to 2417 Welsh Rd. Ste 21, Philadelphia, PA. 19114. What a joke! There definition of "complimentary" is quite different from what most people would think. To this "travel agency" it definitely doesn't mean free...actually it means pay more than you normally would for a cruise. Luckily, I didn't pay them anymore money. I got cancer and was unable to deal with booking a cruise. Today, now that I feel better I went to call them because I know my year was running out. NOW, THE PHONE NUMBER IS DISCONNECTED. Decided to look online and research this company. I immediately came upon this site and several other complaints. What a SCAM! Several months ago, I happen to call WorldWide Travel, but they act like they don't know anything about paying money to Ultimate Executive and that it's a third party. Both companies are probably in together with this scam. Can you imagine how much money they are making from innocent people...at least 248.00 per couple.

Does anyone know how we can get our money back from them. I have all my paperwork and cashier's check.

Went to their presentation which asked for $9, 000 for promise of discounted travel services in the future. We did not buy and was given a coupon for a free 7-night cruise with Ultimate Executive Travel in Philadelphia.
I mailed in $248 money order for reservation and port charges and waited for over 1 month with no response.

I called Ultimate Executive Travel, talked to Kelly and was informed that it would cost more money beyond the $248 reservation and port charge to book any cruise. So the supposedly free cruise is not free.
I sent email to Kelly then called her on the phone. She said the $248 money is not refundable.
We will have to take legal actions to put these crooks out of business and in prison where they belong.

I received a post card in the mail that I was chosen to receive a "Free 8 night Cruise" for attending the 90 minute presentation that was not a time share. World Travel allows you to become a member for a one time fee of only $9, 000 and a yearly fee of $299 which gives you discounted prices on cruises, hotels and vacation trips. I declined the offer and was given my so called" Free Cruise", but to validate the cruise certificate you must complete the form and send a Cashier's check or money order in the amount of $248 via certified mail, all which are non-refundable and wait to hear back from them by mail before you can even start to look for a cruise or before an agent will even speak to you on the phone! As other complaints stated the cruise cabin is a bunk bed on the bottom deck and upgrades additional money! What a scam! I am so glad I did not purchase the World Travel package because I am sure the rules are the same as the so called "FREE CRUISE"

I too received a voucher for the same cruise from the same company in Valencia. DON'T DO IT.
I did do it. The cruise is not free and if you want to upgrade. There is no such thing. They quote you a higher price for the cruise than what was is posted on the internet. I lost my money. They say I can use it it for future travel. But if you check there website. They do not list their services.

I was scammed too! Trying to get a 'travel credit' also costs...these folks are a scam and I would be happy to join in a class action, however they are primitve in their record keeping but should certainly be looked into by local authorities. If I was closer I would! They are robbing seniors but charging small inconsistent amount. I did look up where they live; NICE PROPERTY!
