Acai Berry non receipt of product , but charged for it and unwanted membership

On February 2, 2010, I received two thank you email from this company for my order of Advance Cleanse and Acai Berry Pills. Even though I order a third item, the celebrity tooth whitener, which they said I didn’t order. The special offer was simple, $1 each weight lost products and $9.00 for the teeth plus shipping and handling. They said they have no record of tooth whitner order. I order on-line from my home computer email account. After several weeks, I arrived home to find a postal notice of 2 missed packages that they tried to deliver and that I could pick-them up from the post office. I waited until the weekend to pick-up the package due to death in my family. I was so distracted, I only received the one package containing the Advance Colon Cleanser. I forgot everything after a second member of my family died.

In the meantime, my home computer got a virus and crashed. I was not able to check my email account to obtain the needed information for tracking. This morning, I took the other box back to the post office and asked them to check for any undelivered packages under my name. They check and said, that if they didn’t deliver it, they returned it after 14 days. But I need a tracking number. Today I explained to my supervisor, Mrs. Limerick that I needed permission to access my home account from the office. She granted me that permission. I called the company and explained the circumstances. They said they were having computer problems and could not obtain the needed tracking information, so I asked for a refund for the Acai Berry and the whitener that should have been returned to them by the post office.

They informed me that I was charger $149.95 for membership this pass Friday. I told them I am calling to track the delivery of the product, which means I never received the product and therefore could not evaluate either if their product worked or if I wanted to become a member. This is not fair. After the last funeral on Thursday, March 4th, I admit, I should have had a better frame of mind but I didn’t, I was mourning my lost with family members who were soon leaving Washington to return to their homes. Its not fair, I did not use the colon cleanser because the advertisement said that both products should be used together. Why should I be charged for 2 products I haven’t received, one I did not use, because of their instructions and a membership I don’t want. Usually, the 14 day trial period starts after you receive and start to use a specific product – not while your waiting for delivery. They are not going to refund my money for the 2 missing products or the membership. Please help me.

Sincerely,
Deborah Mayronne

Acai Berry refund

On February 19, 2010, I received a package I did not order. I immediately called the [protected] number on the invoice and told them I did not order this. They said they would cancel the order. I wa charged $88.74 on February 12, 2010 and on February 19, 2010 another $88.74 for this. Also the representative at the [protected] said I had been charged $88.74 on December 25, 2009. It has also caused me serious problems at my bank and I have no money to pay my bills and get my medicine. After talking with my bank manager she said to send it back. On February 24, 2010, I send it Priority Mail to arrive in Wilminton Delaware on February 27, 2010. As of March 2, 2010, they say they haven't received it. I am seeking help.

Acai- berry power blast is a false and missleading product.
The free trial is a scam and all this will do is cost you time and money in having to have your credit card cancelled.

The product is nothing more than a placebo!

It tried this for the time they advised. NOTHING happened. I did not feel more energetic, In fact there was NO cahnge at all. I east Well. my diet as well balnced and proportioned All I wanted to do is loose a couple of kilos to get ready for the netball season.
The only true weight loss method is the old fashined eat well and exercise. No pill is going to have that in it!

I am going to complain to BBB and everywhere possible regarding the outmost deceiving and unprofessional customer service ever!
All they care about getting their $169.95 from people. They might as well shut their phones off because their customer service is useless and is located outside of US. If they do not refund my money I will make it very costly for them: they are going to lose hundreds of potential buyers after they see my posts on FB etc.. Enado Media LLC should better crunch the numbers and respond to my complaints!

Email them daily telling them who you are turning them into. Do not stop. If they think you have stopped you lose. They told me five days ago that they authorized my refund and I would see it in five days. I told them if it was not there I would restart my campaign ten fold. So here I am. Trying to tell all who will listen. Hopefully I am helping others.

Acai Berry unauthorized charge on credit card

I ordered the product on line and was told that if I was unsatisfied I had 17 days to cancel my subscription via email or phone. I received an email stating the same conditions. I sent an email and called twice and spoke with live customer service representatives that assured me my subscription was cancelled. On 2/19/2010, I received another bottle of the product. I called customer service again Kim Clark [protected]) told me there was no records of my email or phone calls and a charge for $88 dollars and change had been charged to my credit card. She appoligized for the misunderstanding and assured me again that my subscription would be canceled. She said she would refund $35.00 for the misunderstanding, but that I would still have to pay the remainder of the charge.

Acai Berry scam/health report survey

The latest scam for the Acai Berry/Colon cleanse is an article supposedly written by Amy Conner, health and fitness writer, explaining her personal trial of the two products. She states that she is skeptical but conducts her own test, being the guinea pig and amazingly lost 3 lbs each week for 4 weeks during the trial period of the "free" product. However, at the bottome of her article she says she lost an amazing 25 lbs in 4 weeks. Do the math, idiots! 3 lbs a week x 4 weeks = 12 lbs, NOT 25 lbs...also she states that she got it free and was not sent any additional product or charged for things she didn't order. These people will never, ever stop! Be aware!

Acai Berry charged my account without permission

Put in an order for a trial offer of acaiberry and decleansing product from the company. Fine print came up and I canceled the order. Products still came to my house. I returned both packages unopened. I was charged 54.95 for pureberry and 64.00 for new you today. Called the company several times but they seem to be unable to find the solution to my problem. I e-mailed the company and was told that I went over the grace period and that is why I was charged. I explained again that I did not give permission for them to withdraw the money from my account and that I had canceled the order. I also explained to them that I returned the products unopened. They have a foreign accent and they seem to not want to understand. I just want my money back and see that no one else gets scammed.

I have had the same issues! I have called so many different numbers and written to multiple emails to no avail. They charged me $3.95 for a shipment I HAVE NEVER RECEIVED, then called to cancel and then they "couldn't find my membership." Then I was charged $149.95. I am also getting the runaround but I have shut down that account, I am trying to dispute this through my bank and the mail (probably not fault of the mail) since the customer service reps are RUDE AND UNHELPFUL. I hope more people read this before they get charged and scammed out of $149.95! BE CAREFUL!

I want to post my complaints about Try Acai Berry Pure as a Total SCAM!

I ordered the product on Feb. 28, 20.10 for their promotion rate of .99 cents. They took my credit card information immediately withouti issue.

But, when I called a live agent by the name of Ira, ID #206, on March 5, 2010 at 11:20am to cancel my order all together, since on that day I still had not received the product. I was given a cancellation confirmation number of (1099099) and was assured by Agent Ira that I definitely would not be charged a full membership fee of $169.95.

But, on March 11, six days later after my cancellation, a charge of $169.95 appeared on my credit card, and Try Acai Berry pure even sent me an e-mail to say that they put the charge on.

After several phone calls to their Support Unit and E-letters to refundrequest@tryacaiberrypure.com, I still have not received my refund or reversal of charges to my credit card.

The agents whom I spoke to on March 11, 12, 13 kept giving me the run-around and said that they do not have any way to refund me. Eventhough, I had sent many e-mails to the e-mail address the live agents had given me and received replies back from Try Acai Berry Pure to confirm that they have indeed receive my refund request. But no further action of refund was made to my credit card, which they should not have billed to begin with.

So, on a beautiful Miami day, I have to spend time and energy to post these complaints to help others not to fool by this product which is contained of the equivalent of 3 cups of coffee (I can not have any caffeine at any time), when I first ordered the live agent told me it only contains antioxident and acai berry, which was a big lie, to mislead people.

Please use my unfortunate experience with Try Acai Berry Pure as warning before you think about ordering from them.
Please be aware that this company is a TOTAL SCAM !

Received a $29.95 unauthorized charge on my credit card. Called the 800 number and, after a lenghly discussion, received a confirmation number for the refund to the account. This is a rip-off and I'm very upset that the Oprah Show would endorse such a program.

I was just charged 29.95 for something at a website that I never visited and therefore never purchased anything from. I did, however, request a "free" sample of the Acai berry supplement that was advertised on Oprah and authorized the shipping charges of #3.95. No where in the disclaimer did it mention an additional charge of "$29.95 for this "free" offer. I would like this charge refunded immediate and plan to follow up with my bank and have this listed as a fraudulent charge.

I ORDERED A FREE SAMPLE OF ACAI BERRY ON LINE.
WHEN I RECEIVED IT IN THE MAIL ENCLOSED WAS A SMALL PIECE OF PAPER, AND I MEAN SMALL ABOUT 4 INCHES BY 4 INCHES STATING THAT MY CARD WOULD BE BILLED $89.00.
I IMMEDIATELY CALLED THE NUMBER ON THE PAPER AND ASKED WHERE I COULD RETURN THIS FREE SAMPLE AND THAT I DID NOT WANT TO BE BILLED FOR IT.
THE LADY TOLD ME I COULD KEEP THE SAMPLE AND THAT MY CARD WOULD NOT BE BILLED.
TODAY 1/1/09 WHILE CHECKING MY BANK STATEMENT ON LINE- I NOTICED A CHARGE TAKEN OUT OF MY CHECKING ACCOUNT FOR $29.95
PAID TO WWW.FIT.FAC.COM. I PAID A SHIPPING AND HANDLING FEE- AND I WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THIS CHARGE. THIS IS FRAUDULENT!
I WILL BE NOTIFING MY BANK.

I barely got my free trail and already they have entered a charge on my account for 87.13. Believe me I will contact whoever I have to in order to get these charges reversed. I have contacted my bank and they will be on the look-out for any charges that appear on my account. I will contact Oprah, the news media, television, radio, President elect Obama, you don't know me. I will contact however many people I have to in order to expose you. I had better get my money back and no more charges out of my account or you and the rest of the world will never stop hearing from me.

I ordered free trial Acai Berry and paid shipping and handling they sent me a bottle the next month without my approval and did not make it clear about charging my card if I did not cancel this product within 14 days. I feel this company does not make it clear about the 14 day trial period so you can be aware of this charge. I do always check the fine writing but this company does not make it clear enough. I always look at the fine print but it was not obvious with this company. I have look on this site and read the many complaints that goes with this Company and on their bottle of diet pills they have an incorrect telephone number. I feel this is a complete scam for most people and I want my money back.

Acai Berry Misleading Advertising

"Consumer Digest Weekly" and "Health News" are headings of the website ( http://www.healthnews10.com/?n=178&k=weather ) which presents itself as a consumer advocacy news organization. If one scrolls to the bottom of the webpage, past the fabricated "Comments" section", he finds in the fine print of the disclaimers that the purported article above cannot "be taken literally or as a non-fiction story." The photo of the reporter at the top, "Melissa Sandler" is really a photograph of French journalist Melissa Theuriau.

Also in the fine print are some of the terms of the AcaiBerryPure and Advanced Cleanse programs. If you do not call the company within 7 days of enrolling in these programs ("enrollment means ordering your "free" samples) your credit card will be charged an annual membership fee of $150 for each program. If you take into account the time it might take to process an order and receive the shipment, then your calculations would probably indicate a scant 2 or 3 days to try a 30 day sample before you would be charged and enrolled in their scheme. But read it for yourself.

this company is a total and complete scam! i ordered this product and nowhere did it say that the 14 day trial was from the day you order it, so they took extra long to send the product only to have to look at my credit card statement to find out that they charged me $149.99! so i called them and the first time i call they tell me to call back because their system was down, i spent that whole day trying to get in contact with them! i call again the next day and the operator tells me I KNEW it was a 14 day trial and that i would be charged $149.99 membership fee, so i told her to cancel it and refund my money and she said they cannot refund my money because it SPECIFICALLY says on their website that this fee is non-refundable! i double checked the site and nowhere does it say that it is non-refundable so i asked to speak to a manager and she gave me an e-mail address to request a refund. but of course i recieved and automated response that said my request has been denied. i emailed whoever it was and told them if they do not refund my money i will contact a lawyer and will be filing a complaint with the BBB. i just dont understand how they can justify keeping a membership fee if you cancel your account and ARE NOT A MEMBER?! it just doesnt make any sense! but i can bet you this...I WILL BE GETTING MY MONEY BACK, ONE WAY OR ANOTHER! so if anyone out there is planning to file a lawsuit please let me know!

Wow, thank you so very much for this heads up. I got the products today and was actually looking for the sites again for my coworkers and saw your complaint. It definitely saved me hundreds of dollars. I thought I'd read the fine print when I signed up the trials, but I guess I wasn't as careful enough. If the products are as great as they claim, then I will buy more, but it is absolutely unfair and unethical to hit me up for $150 membership fee for a 30 day supply of a product. Since I ordered both products, I would have been dismayed to see a $300 charge on my credit card and would have probably had a very difficult time fighting it.

You saved me so much future frustration with your complaint. Thank you.

Wish I would have read these first. I did cancel before the 14days though so we will see how it goes. The number on the bottle and the emails is not correct. The number I got through for the Acai Berry Pure is [protected] and the # for Advanced Cleanse is [protected] even though the Advanced Cleanse people canceled it through email I hope.

I also was charged twice for this and did not authorize it.
I cancelled everything. I want a full refund of almost $300.00 ASAP.
First off you don"t give people 14 days of anything.
Second, we have to deal with someone who can not speak or understand English

Acai Berry To good to be true

I order Acai Berry and Colon Ceanser. Free is what it said just pay the shipping on one was $4.95 and the other $2.95. It was express shipping on the Acai Berry because the lady used to advertise it was from my town. The Acai Berry arrived the next day. The colon cleasner order included Tri slim (which I never ordered). It arrived December 23. Thank God I never opened it. On Janaury 4 my bank account was hit for $259.00 for 3 bottles of supplements. I was furious to say the least. The bank advise me to close my card because these companies will just go into your account once they get your banking information. They shared my information with the company that sent me the Tri Slim. I file papers with my bank. I sent back the Tri Slim and Colon Cure priority and signature conformation for my proof. I had already called the company. They said the couldn't give me back my money. I said wrong answer. I wasn't taking no for an answer. Then they went down the scipt that they are given. She said she could only give me back 50% of my money. That was un acceptable. Finally she said 80% because they were charging me a restiocking fee. They gave me a bogus conformation number. When I called back after 8 days of them recieving the product back they tried to say they were suppose to give me back any money. So I had to go thru that again. They On Jan.25. I got back 80% of the Tri Slim. Pharmalab again tried to go into my to go into my account. They sent me an email and said they would soon be shipping out another supply of Acai Berry. I called them to tell them I would no longer need the product. I started telling them about the charges they charged me. The person told me they tried to sent me the product but it wouldn't go thru. I told her the bank had gotten invovled. She said and I quote her then there is no further need in having this conversation. I hung up. I haven't recieved any other monies from the other companies. After researching them I found out that they have done a lot of customers like that did me. They will change towns on their website to one that is located near you . They will go in your account unauthorized. The product didn't work. They are scam artist that need to get a real job. Be careful about giving your banking information to company especially on the internet. It casue me to have trouble at the bank with my real bills. They are not worth getting involed with. Unless you want a headache and a nightmare. You will never get all your money back.

Acai Berry Refund - never recieved

I ordered the. 99cent offer, never recieved the product. The colodetoxxr was to be included with the order for additional 1. 99. I recieved a text alert on my cellphone from my card company for two different charges. One for $64. 00 and the other for $54. 00, called the bank and got information on both charges. The colodetoxxr took some work but i got the refund from them. Oh, let me mention it turned out to be a totally different company. Now i have been fighting with acaiberrypure to get a refund and they keep giving me the run around. I have requested a supervisor, they cant or wont produce one, i ask for a tracking number they cant produce that either. I am filing complaints every where i can to expose these people. This is totally unfair and unconstitutional to just charge and take peoples money for something they never recieved and wont help them to try and find out what happened they just want the money! I am going to keep trying until i get my money refunded !Please help me in any way possible to get these people. I will provide any information i can to help get these people off the internet! Brenda kowalski [protected]. My e - mail address is [protected]@yahoo.com. I have nothing to hide. I couldnt find them in the bbb.com either. !

I called a [protected] and asked the lady why 2 $12.95 were charge on my account and then one credited of $12.95. She said I okay it for the free trial for the pills and the teethwhitner. I never recieved any weight pill acaiberry I did get a pkg. with celebritywhiteteeth but I am sending that back. What I dont understand is why did they charge me anything if it was a free-trial product? Then said I okay it! Which I didnt on either one of them. How did they get my CC#.
The best thing to do and I am fixing to do it, is I am canceling this card so they cannot billed me for nothing else. I will open an account with little bit of money in it, like say 25.00 or less and that will be the card I use online. and if them or anyone else wants to SCAM ME, they wont get much!
The company name is "HealthSense Nutrient Limited" in Cyprus Europe.

I canceled trial offer in the 14 day time period, was given a confirmation number and assured there would be no other charges, yet a charge showed up for my " membership fee". I am unable to speak to anyone about this, only given an e-mail address, and a half-hearted apology. The response from them via e-mail is more or less take this number and we will contact you and was given a low priority status. Long story short am heading to the bank to dispute the charge...my hope is people will come to this site to do research BEFORE ordering, but doubt it since their is NO link to here until you have been robbed by this scam.

I thought I was getting a good deal of this product I should have known better. The product add was misleading. My bank account was over drawn because of this charge of 149.00. I cancelled the order. I will send the product back to the company if you give me an address to do so. According to the add where I took this off of I should have been charged 3.99 plus shipping and handling. I would love to try this product, but not at this high price. At this time I can't afford this product. Not only did it cost me 150.00, but add another 25.00 to the so called bill.
If you do not return the money to my account, I will contact the Better Business Bureau. I am greatly disappointed in the whole deal.
In fact, I would never order anything from your website again.

This product was ordered on a 30 free trial. You are suppose to cancel within 14 days if you don't like or don't want to continue the product. The product showed up ion the mail on day 13 AFTER ordering it. the next day I was notified by my bank that I was being charged $149.00 for the product. I called to complain and was told I did not cancel the product within the 14 days, so I was being charged. I tried to explain that this IS DAY 14, and that I wanted to cancel. That is when I was given this website to file for a refund and register a complaint

This is a terrible way to run a " PROMOTION" You cannot render a decision on something you have not used. You received the product the day before the trial period ends, the next day you are charged for the product AND it is still within the TRIAL PERIOD.

I ordered Acai Berry Pure. I called to cancell on the 9th-10th day after and was told i would be given a grace period of 10 days to cancell again as I had just received the product the day before and that is not enough time to even try it out. Long story short they e-mailed me that I did not cancell in time and had to pay full price. They charged me 159.95 and the box that the product came in, even said $129.95 msrp. Ripoff company and if they had not ripped me off I may have even continued to use the product once I had a long enough time to try it. Giving you 10 days to cancel from time of order and then not getting it untill 9-10 days later is just stupid and wrong. I am going to call and try to argue my case but these companies seem to be able to do just what they want with no recourse. I will no longer order from any company that I am not sure is respectable. Acai Berry charges on my visa

I ordered the acia berry tablets and colon cleanse from a website offering them for trial just at the cost of shipping/handling. Of course credit card information was exchanged. Long story short, they have charged my Visa over 250.00 for a shipment that came yesterday by post with additional charges of 11.60 each package. Thankfully my post office was aware of several people who were scammed with this and warned me to check my visa and to refuse the shipment which I did and that is when I found the charges. Unfortunately, I do not have a customer number as no invoice came with the original "free" tablets. My husband is now cancelling our cc so that no other charges will be able to be made on it...and is talking to them regarding cancellation of the charges. I have not tried to phone the company as I have heard of several episodes of being put on hold for up to an hour! I cannot afford an international call such as that. I have no email address to write to. Can anyone send it to me, so that I too can harrass this company for a refund?

Acai Berry Unauthorized Charges

Damn, can't believe I fell for this. Got an email from my credit card company ' Fraud dept" They wanted to know if I authorized a transaction for $86.42 . The charge was from LH*WEIGHT EASE. I know of no such vendor. I called my credit card company, they tied the charge to a 99 cent shipping charge from Acai Berry Detox. Because I allowed the 99 cent charge, 2 weeks ago, they let the transaction go through. It's not fraud because I gave my account number to this company. So I called the number listed on the transaction [protected] to complain about the unauthorized charge. The lady said in fine print that I would be charged $86.42 if I didn't call them in 14 days. Did not see anything on the advertisement regarding any 14 day window. Luckily I printed out the website and there was a link that I clicked on that said "For a Free Bottle of Max Acia - Click Here" The ad said "Free" Where I come from Free means Free not charge you $86.42.

Also watch out for a personal weight loss story called "Rachael's Diet Journey. Apparently she lives in 2 places at once. The website I printed 2 weeks ago tells a story of Rachael Cruetz from North Olmsted, Ohio. The same 3 page letter has her living in Mountain View, California.

WHAT A SCAM... After tying to reach this company via their phone number for customer service for weeks times after time, I finally got to their CHAT web site and got a promise of a refund for the products I was billed on my credit card for IF I returned them with a given RMA #, which I did via UPS... The day after I returned them I received my credit card statement which had yet additional charges for product I did NOT ORDER. Now that my account has been canceled via their web ite I cannot "CHAT" with them to make arrangements to be given credit for that additional charge as well as make them pick up these two additioanl packages that received yesterday.

Acai Berry Complaint about the HIDDEN SUBSCRIPTION CHARGES deducted from my account for order no. [protected] and [protected]

I ordered the Acai Berry and Effective Cleanse Antioxidant from your website as they had advertised that these products were on a RISK free trial offer for which I was required to pay only £0.95 for both.

I write to complain about my terrifying and shocking experience about charges levied after buying the above mentioned products from your website. I was shocked to see that £76.76 has been deducted twice for both the products from my account. I fail to understand how a deduction has been made from my bank account without me SIGNING or AGREEING for it.

I contacted my bank about this deduction, and was informed it is for a SUBSCRIPTION that I was not aware about and was asked to contact you.

I contacted customer services and was told that they will cancel my account for no FUTURE deductions to be made but the money that has already been deducted will not be returned and informed me of the GENERAL TERMS and CONDITIONS on the website.

I am not only shocked and disappointed but feel trapped into this, as this was something unexpected and obviously a disgusting experience.

I am very upset with the service provided by your department and moreso by the rude response given by your member of staff who said I should have read the terms and conditions and this was my fault.

I have visited the website again (which is not easy to find) and can confirm that nowhere on the promotional ad (that still continues to be on your web page) does it say that this offer has any specific TERMS AND CONDITIONS attached to this offer. It does not mention about the SUBSCRIPTION offer either, and I can see how I have been duped into this.

This is unprofessional, as you can’t charge someone about something they are not being given prior information or even advised that there could be a future charges levied for something completely different.

If you want people to subscribe to this and earn money from such charges, then it should be clear that this is a part of the deal. I as a customer have a right to know what else is included when I buy, not as a shock later. You should add on a star to say there are specific terms and conditions attached to this PARTICULAR OFFER as opposed to putting them at the bottom of page in a generic way. I believe these are ethics that every company follows when they have specific terms and conditions attached.

The address on the website and the address on receipt are completely different and I am not sure which is true, as the other bits are untrustworthy. The online receipt and the receipt received with the product were different. The receipt you send with the product has a different amount on it. I am sure there must be another money-making mechanism behind this.

I feel utterly trapped in this and I believe this is your company’s business model. I am afraid it’s a very bad practice as you are putting off people from online buying completely. I never purchase online and with a dreadful experience like this that I have had with you, I am terrified and might possibly never ever do it again.

I repeat that these are unfair terms and conditions, if not stated earlier on the offer. It should be made clear on the ad describing the free trial offer that there is a subscription attached to it or there are Terms and Conditions attached to it.

This is similar to walking into a general store to buy a product worth £2 only to be told that there was a hidden subscription attached to it which would be automatically started and charges worth £150 would be deducted abruptly without any intimation or prior notification. This is a building model made to fool and rob people

This has been a very stressful experience. I have spent my valuable time trying to resolve this situation, with your department and have reached nowhere when this is the time I should be spending with my baby at home.

To resolve this problem I would appreciate if you could look into this matter at the earliest and provide me with an early response. I look forward to hearing from you with a solution to my problem. Please contact me at the above address. Also I would like to get indemnified for this hassle and the loss of time and money by the company

Yours sincerely

Acai Berry SCAM/FRAUD

I ordered two products from this company on a free-trial basis, which were advertised under an ACAIBERRY Exclusive offer to increase energy and cleanse. Inititally I was charged $3.95 euros for shipping and thereafter I have been charged three times, each for $119.02 US for products I never ordered.

I was wrongly tempted by the advertisement of this company and should have known better about not ordering obscure products on-line. I am not prepared to let $400 off my pocket go and will ask my Visa to cancel the charges.

I also tried calling the toll-free # to cancel this and the number does not seem to be accessible from Canada.

THIS IS A TOTAL SCAM. PLEASE LET ME KNOW HOW I CAN RECOVER MY MONEY AND PREVENT THIS FROM HAPPENING TO OTHERS!
