Tim Burchell - Scam Artist he took my money but did not provided me with the information
I can't believe I was so foolish to get involved with this company. I emailed him to trace my cousin, two days later he sent an email saying has traced her. I found it strange there was no invoice, I can't explain it but my gut feeling told me it was a scam, so I delayed payment, then he threatened to take me to court so I thought he must be genuine. So i sent him a cheque, he claimed he did not receive it, he didn't even wait a week to receive the cheque in the post and sent papers to court.
I immediately put the money into his account plus the court fee. So far I have not receive the trace information which I paid for.
Now I come across a site (http://uk-private-investigators.pissedconsumer.com) where many people claims he scammed them and realise my gut feeling was telling me the truth.
I got my friend to call up and give a fake name and a fake trace to see if its a scam, she told me no one was answering the phone for several days.
Hes not replying to my emails, or text messages.
Its my own fault for not checking out this company and reading the reviews in the first place.
Please do not use this organisation.
I lost £170 of my hard earn money to this crook, please don't make the same mistake as me. Others have lost thousands so Im a little grateful that I didn't loose as much as them.
Please give me advise on how I can get his licensed revoked. Or get a full refund.

The trace address turned out to be incorrect, and he is refusing to give me a refund, or retrace, or any evidence of how he verified the trace.
I need evidence against him. Is there anyone willing to to provide me with their story and receipt and any emails.

An update on my case
A refund has now been provided plus £30 for the inconvenience and an apology has me made.
My case has now been resolved
I will be writing a letter to the owner of the website to have my comments removed.
I have received the information, but I am not entitled to the 30 day money back guarantee as the information was provided to me after the 30 days. I just hop that the trace information is correct.
Be warned UKPI are criminals. Tim burchell has no morals and even is happy to photograph children on surveillance. Disgusting.
Timothy burchell stole 3000 for me and threatened me after I asked for a refund. He digs up information and blackmails. STAY AWAY
UKPI are criminals who access data protected information and get dogs to do the dirty work for them. Put them to the test and asked for them to access my wife's phone records he did it no problem and wanted cash because he said it was data protected. All the above reviews are true and I can't wait for the police to raid him and shut him down
Stay far away from Tim Burchell and his bogus company. The whole thing is a scam. I paid £240 for two trace enquiries both addresses were about six years old. I was told they use up to date technology the same as the police which no doubt is a lie. I went round to those addresses and the people in question don't live there. I instructed a more trustworthy company and they found them. Tim and his cronies said that I could not get a refund because I did not come back to them (who the hell would?) and they would need to see proof of the new trace enquiry. Why on earth would I share my brand new paid for report with vermin like that?

I did ask about a basic research for I had most of the details already telephone number even bank account details the town where they lived etc. I was quoted £175. After reading articles here I asked would they do my request on a COD basis ………………. I got a prompt reply …. NO
Timothy Burchell is a conman. He has no company it was disolved in 2008. He has no office ( if you google his office address it will give you a list of companies who have virtual offices there). I suspected he was lying to me so i set a trap. I gave the details of a fake person i was looking for and lo and behold he found them.Avoid this scammer at all costs. He tries to get his reviews removed but you can find them everywhere on the internet.
All of the positive comments on here are posted by Tiimothy Burchell, that's how he makes his living - by deceiving the vulnerable!

I can't believe I paid you to lie to me. You literally have no morals. It's only after doing business with you that I discovered this.
Please do your review research before hiring a private investigator!
I have seen the other two reviews and to be honest, find them a little unbelievable. I use these guys on a regular basis (I am a Solicitor) and they have alway delivered on time and with great accuracy. They are a very established agency, so Im sure if the other reviews were true, they would not still be trading after twenty + years.

You have received an email from us to which you have not responded. As per our terms and conditions, you assigned this case, allegedly, to another agency before awaiting our response. As you are aware, we have responded to every email received from you and you were made aware of our terms and conditions, before we agreed to take your case. By allegedly instructing another agency at the same time as we were still working on the case, you were in breach of our terms and conditions.
Used this company to do get address details for someone which turned out to be wrong, proved to ukpi with photographic evidence which they refused to refund and ignoring my emails.
