I received a similar mail from David Walcha thanks for the info as I understand this all is fraud. I want to make people aware that before putting in any amount kindly check on the internet for the authenticity of the same.
I got a mail about the winnign notification of national lottery draw #942 held in Liverpool on 22 July 2007. In this mail some one tell me that I won 500000 gbp in this draw by online attaching my e_mail add and selected randomly by over corporates and he want some information like

This is a spam & we must punish them.
I have also received same as mentioned in this website. I want to know that they can send the courier to any of the Indian Courier company and later they can collect the money.
Just think twice before sending the money.
I have been informed by US Federal Trade Commission that foreign sweeps and lotteries are illegal, but these jerks don't seem to care. They just want to scam people. Just think about it, why would someone charge a fee when they are giving you money. GIVING YOU MONEY?

I received an email claiming that i have won £715,000 and that i have to send my name, address, dob, sex to them to proceed the claim.
I replied with the information and got another email saying that i would be contacted shortly.
I am from Bangalore INDIA. Myself also faced same kind of problems. I was fully believed about that mails. And also their arrange for one representative about this agreements. Daily he contact him and marketing about that lottery. After that only i followed him. He gave 3 type of bank account numbers from 3 times from INDIA. After that I made the payment to that accounts.
1 st term : 26600 INR
2nd term : 40000 INR
3rd Term : 20000 INR.
Now a days there is no contact about those guys still now i am sending messages and SMS. There is no reply and all. Where can i compliment to that fraud guys? I don’t get any idea about the compliments. I have all the proof via email and SMS, to send the payment of the guys. How to make the compliment... Be ware about that UK National Lottery scams...

I received the same email as well about couple months ago and they ask me about 1000 usa dollar, its just lie and they just wanna get your money its all lie they though. I was stupid to send them a money but they were wrong i haven't send them anything at all right way. I knew it when he asked me for money because if you really won they wont ask you money trust me its just group of people that is working together and they wanna collect easy money from other people which is they are thief. I just put them on ignore whoever they are!
