Tristar/k-styler / broke/customer service
Jan 1st 2009, my Kstyler would no longer turn on. I called customer service and a supervisor answered the phone (WOW!) She was very nice and told me to send the flat iron back with a check for $19.99 for warranty replacement. She said that I would receive my new one in 7-10 days. I sent the package back 'certified' through the post office. The company received it on Jan 12th, 2009. I called customer service around the 26th to find out where my replacement was. The girl was rude and told me I needed to be patient b/c it was on backorder and would not be shipped for 2 weeks. She told me NOT to call again, just watch your email for a message that it was sent. I called today, Feb. 10th and a rude girl named -KELLY hung up on me!
I called back and the next girl would not give me her name but she said they were on backorder for 4-6 weeks. That is the end of March!
Why was I not told 3mos. for back order from the very beginning. When asked why they cashed my check before shipping out the order, the rep was silent then said, "Mam, it is on backorder for 4-6 weeks!"
Then she hung up.
I believe this company is running a SCAM and those so-called customer service reps shoiuld be ashamed of themselves for working for such a FRAUD! I guarantee I will never see a replacemnt K-Styler show up at my front door!!!
