Tripreservations.com / Poor service
I booked a complete trip to Reno for the USBC Bowling tournament through trip reservations.com I requested a non-smoking room. I called trip reservations about 3 weeks before the trip to assure everything was ready and was told all flights and the hotel were ready for us. We arrived at the airport 2 hours ahead of time as requested by the airlines only to find out our flight had been cancelled over a month before. American Airlines said they had booked us on a flight 2 hours earlier, but we were not notified by either the airline or trip reservations. We spent 11 hours in the airports and on airplanes for a 3 1-2 hour trip. When we finally arrived at the hotel, we were told there were no non-smoking rooms. When I said I had made the reservations 8 months prior their response was that they probably did have a non-smoking room then. What the heck does that mean????
