Travelocity - Refund policies scam

Made reg on 5/12/2020, Travelocity immediately withdrew funds checked pricing again had better deal so within 1 min I cancelled the original rsv. Then called C to check to be sure original was cancelled it was FAR from stated 30days for refund Travelocity is part of expedia and American airlines with the technology in our country why do
I or any other customer have to wait 30days for the dangling store and my refund is posted within a very short amount of time. What is Travelocity
Getting from holding my $$$for 30 days except an irrate upset customer that will never use their svc again will file complaints with Texas attorney general, federal trade commission federal attorney General any other agency I can think of if there if there are enough similar complaints and a good attorney steps up we could possible file a class action lawsuit against Travelocity
And their partners

I had the same experience! I had to do a chargeback to get my $3, 198.80 money back. I selected reserve button for $100 -- they charged me the full amount. I canceled within 2 hours for travel that would take place in 8 months. No reason to keep my money for 30 days -- money they were not authorized to charge!

Travelocity - False advertising for paramount hotel times square

On October 27th 2015 while waiting in the airport for my flight to new York city I went thru Travelocity.com to look for a hotel which I ended looking for a 4 star hotel pictures looked great ended up paying for a 2day stay for Paramount Hotel 235 W 46th Street, New York, NY [protected] when I arrived tired of almost 3hour flight imagined was going to be a clean decent room like Doubletree Hotel in Financial District great hotel by the way well to my surprise this room was very tiny very dirty cobwebs every where mold in the bathroom paint was scraped from the bath tub probably a homeless shelter would have cleaner I immediately started sneezing my nose became stuffy just plain disappointment I called immediately Travelocity to cancel this which spend about 3hrs total from agent to agent talked to about 5 agents for two days until they finally said they would refund partial of the charge to a DISCOVER card ending 704 which I don't own since i don't even have credit cards only a debit FOR only one night which I was outraged so I kept asking for supervisor have all the names as well and id# anyhow they ended still not reversing anything I begged my bank to stop payment on this pending transaction my bank responded but yet to see Travelocity respond

Travelocity - Booked the wrong date

I had called in a while back to book a flght to New York, for April 23rd, 2009, and confirmed with the agent I had spoken to. Excited for my trip, I was busy working at the hospital to make spending cash for New York. I had not checked my email, thinking I had 2 months to my trip, and nothing to worry about. It was not till last week, that Travelocity called me and asked me why I had not showed to my flight and checked into my hotel on March 23rd. Confused and anrgy, the company told me that this was my mistake because I had not checked my email for confirmation. I was completely furious, and felt I had been scamed out of my trip. The supervisor I had spoken to told me there was nothing I could possibly do, and I could not get refunded my money, or get any sort of compensation. I have faxed a complaint as well ordered them to listen back to the recording of the conversation of the booking. Not only have I lost 1200 on my trip, but I have been shut out completely by this company. They say they care about their customers, but won't even hear me out on their own mistake. Not only will I not stop trying to get my money back, but I will make sure no one else falls prey to their scams. Overall, travelocity is a complete money stealing company that cares about no one else but themselves!

Similar situation happened to me. I was booking a flight in April (23 - 26th). When I reviewed the flight information to confirm the times with my family I saw that my return date was May 24th - a month later than it should have been. When I called and rebooked the flight I found out that everything - flight times, flight information, everything - was exactly the same. It cost me $180 to change the flight. This amount, beyond being ridiculous, is more than the emails stated (they said $150 on the emails and website) and each person kept saying "up to $180 for this change". When I asked if it was ever less than $180 (as their verbatim implies), I was told it is really at least $180.
I'll NEVER use them again.
