Contacted Transport Connection to move my wife's vehicle from VA to HI. This Bill Avrich guy quotes me $1880 to transport then says $2300 after I contact him to ink the deal. So I tell me that the quote seems a but high considering I can get my wife's vehicle shipped by the same company shipping my vehicle thru the military for $2100. I had no sooner said "a bit high" when this Avrich guy starts screaming into the phone that I am a cheapskate and hangs up. Some professional- avoid this company- there are better and more honest ones out there.
Update- I no sooner had posted a review on Transport Review when he called me again and called me an "A%%H$$$ for posting a bad review- then had the review taken down since he did not actually contract the job. Beware of this company and owner- this kind of behavior says alot about his integrity.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
Transport Connection - Racial Attacks
I have requested a quote on transport reviews and found the best price (around $650) and good ratings for this transport company. I called the Transport connection and got the quote ($900 - $1000), for which i replied as I will get back after contacting some other companies. Thats when I had to hear most abusive words of my life. "I HEARD YOUR ACCENT, AND THEN I IDENTIFIED YOU AS A CHEAP INDIAN ###. I WILL NEVER DO ANY BUSINESS WITH YOU..." I believe I have right to hear quotes from you and do whatever I want to do with my car. I didn't ask you for any lower figure on top of the quote - just that I will keep all my quotes and choose best for me. I don't want to hear any racism attacks for any reason especially for someone who is in business and deals with many people of different races.
Racist - They dont do business with cheap Indians
This is the first time i talked to any broker for moving my car. And WOW !, when i requested the quote they updated on the website $890 but when i actually talked to him he said dont go for that price its going to be $500 more than what u saw. WOW, why the hell they give misleading quote online, these people should be blacklisted on the site.
This guy was most arrogant and rudest person i ever talked to in US so far. He is so arrogant and racist, i dont think anybody from any other country should deal with him. when i told him ur price is different that what was quoted, and i will get back to you, he shouted - "You Indians are cheap, i dont do business with you people, you are never going to come back.".
WOW ! i am definitely going to get back to him with lawyer.
Transport Connection - bad customer service
racist person lier. we are a carrier company he lie to us and ask for help to transport a 1966 corvette he told us he was only making 50 and if we can transport the car for 450 which we did just to help him after we deliver the car we fing out he charge the customer 250. and now is sending us racist e-mail, insulting everyone on our company. here is a copy of his e-mail this guy send us.

Your claim to fame is that you can get grease on your hands while changing the oil on your filthy, dilapidated trucks and have trouble finding decent paying jobs so you work like the filthy SPIC REFUGEE that you are hauling junk cars like Michael Cobb's beat-up Corvette for the paltry sum of $450 while I collected $250 on that job and at least four others per day like it, sitting in my comfy home office environment. Eat ### and die young you filthy, jealous plantain vendor. You will NEVER earn what I do you low-class piece of SPIC ###."
