A representative from this company came into my business and told me he could save me a lot of money on the CC processing. Eventhough I had been with another company for 5 years and very satisfied, I thought it never hurts to try to save money. The first question I asked this 'double taking slimebag' was...'Do I have to commit to a specific amount of time?' His reply was no...you cancel at any time. He told me he had the perfect processing machine for me and it would only cost me $96. bHe never gave me any machines to choose from. So I signed up. When I got my folder the only paperwork I had was the contract for the credit card processing machine. Well...it was not long before I found out that I was not really happy with this company...especially when I was having to pay $96.00 a month (with 2 locations--- $192 a month) for 4 years. After numerous attempts to get someone to cancel this contract for me...I resolved myself to the fact that I would now be stuck with this $192 payment every month til the contract expired. I am a small business and this was an expense I could not afford, especially when the vost of most credit card processing machines is justs a bit more than my one months payment. Looking through every piece of paperwork I had received I saw nothing that said I had to stay with Transnational for any period of time so I switched to another company. Then I started getting collection letters for an early termination fee as well as a recharge for a customer dispute that they approved but had never sent me anything for me to challenge. After numerous phone calls and letters from the collection agency to which I responded back that I did not owe them anything on Firday 9/2 I received another notice from the collection agency and with that notice were the copies of the contract for the processing machine (Northern Leasing) and 3 pages of terms and on the last page was an 3 -year minimum requirement. Funny that these 3 pages were never put in my folder that was sent to me. Of course not...why would the smuck send this to me when he told me that there was no early cancellation penalty. My adivse...do not do business with this company...There are a lot of reputablen credit card processing companies to choose from and this one is not one of them.
