PalmTran is a software for Palm pilots which works as a language translator. My wife used this for her classes and the program worked quite well..until unexpectedly after over a year of usage, the software stopped working and required a new "license number".
For two weeks I have been trying to deal with Translation Experts online to resolve this technical problem. In 5, maybe 6, email messages their "technical support" sent me the same "renewed" license number, which the software will not accept.
In their last email, they gave slightly different instructions to me to renew the license number using their online registration site. Not only did their instructions not work, but their own online system wouldn't take the "codes" that they provided to me.
After two weeks, I am fed up. I want this fixed or a full refund. I paid for this software to purchase it, not to "rent" it temporarily, and it's not working. The company has not fulfilled their part of the transaction.
I've asked repeatedly for a technical support person to contact me, or for the company to provide me with a technical support (or ANY) contact phone number. The company will not provide one, but simply sends canned, prewritted responses. Their website only provides email addresses for contact information.
Simply put, the company took my money, but won't follow through to actually read my emails describing the problems. Their technical service to date has been a cut and paste scam.
