Toyota awful behavior by the gm

Does the General Manager of a Toyota dealership usually say "You already bough this car, now you cant do anything about it" to every customer after a customer has bought the car and the dealer has got the money in his pocket?
Well I am saying this cause thats what I was told at by the GM of Westboro Toyota after I signed all the docs, paid the money and then i was told that "THERE IS ONLY ONE CAR KEY WHICH YOU WILL GET". When I asked the reason why I was not given this info while I was buying the car and that I should be given 2 car keys, the GM of the dealership said "Thats what you are gonna get man. You already bought this car .. what are you gonna do now!"
Such a rude behavior from the GM of a car Toyota dealership says alot about how I am going to be treated later on as well. I can actually say that "I regret buying a Toyota from that dealership" and I really hope my problems are being heard.
The GM's behavior was totally arrogant as if he was doing favor to me by talking to me. I asked him why I was not told that the other key of the car is missing while we were making the deal. If I am buying a car, I should know what am I going to get and what not. I was told all the good thing about the car and not that a key was missing AND the worst part was the GM talking to me so rudely. After long talks, he agreed to give me a Vallet Key for the car. I asked him that I wanted an automatic key with buttons on it BUT all he wanted to say was that he was doing a huge favor to me by giving me a vallet keyy to the car.
When my friend (who bought a Camry from the same dealership and recommended that dealership to me for buying my camry) stepped in and started to say something. He was told to shut up coz the dealership was not doing business with him but me. The GM actually said that he is doing business with me and not him so he doesnt need to step in and say anything. Instead of being so rude to him the GM should have been thankful to him for giving him more business by recommending me to the dealership.
He was being Racist as I and my friends are from India (Asia). I am very sure that he would not have reacted the same way to a white guy. You might think that I am exaggerating it too much BUT trust me, thats how you would have felt if you were in my place.
2 of my friends bought a pre-owned car from other dealerships last month. They got such a good customer service BUT me. When they got their car, they got a full gas tank. I didnt even get that. It was almost half.

This is my first car after coming to the US and I was seriously disappointed by such a rude behavior from the General manager of a huge dealership. I thought the manager's are supposed to be more courteous to the clients so that they can get more and more business. I guess I was either wrong OR unlucky to go to the wrong dealership.

Another friend of mine is planning to buy a car. I recommended him to go to Westboro Toyota to get a good deal and he went with me to the dealership today while I was picking up my car. He went with a mindset of looking for a car at the dealership BUT he was so disappointed after seeing how I and my other friend was treated by the dealer. Now I have recommended him not to buy a Toyota at all. I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND A TOYOTA TO ANYONE.

Toyota defactive air condition

I have purchased Prado GLX 2007 model car. Within 3y6 month usage (75K, km) air-condition evaporator leakage occurred. Definitely I strongly believe, it is material defect. Now M/S Dyana trade charging me AED2000/. I had Nissan pathfinder with me used 9years without any major problems. Only consumable replacement made like, brake pad, liner, fan belt, battery and tyre. It covered 278k.km. Will Toyota explain me they do quality check or not? It look like they target customer to pay haft for their mistake?

Toyota now a day cheating the customers by fixing low quality spares like AIR con evaporator. TO replace the evaporator total dash board has to dismantle. Super Engineering by super Japanese Giant Car manufactures. Do any one beleive, it is 36month used cars evaporator?.

Toyota engine light & $1900 later still same problem

I took my car in to service the engine light that come on. The service dept. told me I need all this work done to the tune of $1923. Had the work done light went out and 2 day leter the light is back on. Took the car back on 5/31/2011 and was told that I needed some sensers replace for $391.00. Well that is why I took my car in in the first place so why was that not done and all this other work for $1923 was done that it most likely din't need to be done. They are ripping people off.

Toyota fogged up windows

I bought a Toyota Vios two years ago. So far, I do not face any major issues with my car. Till recently, my car windows fogging up whenever it’s raining outside. At first, I thought it has something to do with the differential pressure between inside and outside the car. Didn't realize it’s an issue till I saw another Vios parked next to me, its windows were not fogged up at all! Whenever I drive during rainy days, my windows slowly fogged up from the inside, I have no choice but to turn the air-cond level to the max.! And the worst part is, I have to stop my car by the road side, wipe the windscreen myself! So, I drove myself to one of the Toyota Service Centers. The mechanics ran some tests on the tinted windows, tested the pressure, etc. The results came out. It has nothing to do with tinted windows. It’s the pressure in the car itself. This mechanical advisor raised a report and required me to snap some photos as attachment for it. Few days later, went back to the same guy, pass him the photos, then he told me the bad news. He said there are quite a number of cases (i.e. same scenario) reported to the Toyota HQ, unfortunately, none of the reports came back with a positive solution. They blamed it on the tinted materials!

If this is so, how is that my other families’ cars are unaffected? (A new version of Honda City and an 11 years old Proton Wira which is using the same tinted materials as my Toyota Vios)

Toyota scam

They are very smart ...they used all the necessary documentation to cheat people...suach mail from bankers and Telegraphic Transfer Department..
They will sent you a copy of certificate saying that you won the USD$500, 000 and the next day, they will mail to you and ask you to contact their solicitors company name moselley's solicitor in Hong Kong.. unfortunaly the moselley's solicitor they do not have any branch in Hong Kong.
The feek attorny will ask you the affidavit fees amounting USD$1920.00 and ask you to post the money through Western Union Bank or something...
Beside that, Mr. Sato Asuka will contant U through mail asking wether you had receive the money, if yes do conatct him for the second payment to us...
so...unpredictable how could people will do this... to live...

Toyota beware

I went in for 6 month oil change and tire rotation at Sun Toyota for my Camry that I purchased there just 6 months ago. I am not pleased with the service I received, and I actually think something fishy is going on there.

The very next day after my service appointment, I threw off two wheel covers. My husband went online and looked, and the remaining two covers on my car weren't even Toyota brand. They were cheap, plastic Discount Store tire covers, loose and ill-fitting.

When I went in to complain to the service manager, he didn't even raise an eyebrow. He called a mechanic in, and they just "happened" to have 4 matching, greasy, dirty Toyota covers "in the back". Someone took my new wheel covers and put a cheap brand on my car, certainly while it was being serviced. Now I also wonder about the tires. I have some "Potenza" brand tires on there now, I don't remember those being on there before. And I wonder what else may have been appropriated or switched out. No explanation from anybody there, no apology, just a quick change of wheel covers to shut me up and get me out of there.

I won't be going back there. This wasn't an "accident", someone deliberately switched them out, I'm sure of it. What has me mad is that they could have a racket going on there, and most people wouldn't even notice the switch for a long time, and by then, "anybody" could have taken them. You go to the dealer and pay more because you think you're going to get honest service. Lesson learned. I suggest you copy down or even photograph the brand of tire covers and tires before your service, and compare when it's finished.

Toyota wanted more money after deal

I purchased a 2004 Hummer H2 from sales person Emily. I paid the their price for the truck took what they would give me for my trade in and made the deal signed the agree price and paid them. week later I get a bill from Sun Toyota for 85.80 because they did not collect the right amount this 85.80 was not in the amount I agreed on and now they keeping my registration hostage to force me to pay I would never use this company again they don, t return calls or e-mail I contact the the salesman and get I can help and the last you hear from them

Toyota toyota of merriville sold me a nnew car that had been in an accident and did not disclose this

Toyota of merriville sold me a new demo it had 1300 miles as a new car and did not disclose that it was in a car accident by one of the imployees they denied this saying that the car fax report is wrong So i went to the police station and they confirmed that it had been in a wreck. They colleced insurance money. had it fixed out side of toyota so there are no records. Toyota says that they are not resonable for what there dealerships do...Dont buy a toyota its nothing but problems. trst me

Toyota adds insult to injury

Not only has Sun Toyota of New Port Richey lied to me about the Camry I bought from them regarding financing, yesterday I received an email from General Manager Joe Reth telling me I am 1 of 39 people this email was sent to stating "He can, and will" finance my current auto balance to 0% even if I have bad credit, stating this is not a "gimmick, this is real". I called sales Manager Mark Supanek regarding this email, Mark said this is sent to everybody, the bank has to approve you or no deal..I would call this false advertising. Stay away from Sun Toyota!

Toyota maintenance

I RECENTLY PURCHASED A 2011 TOYOTA CAMRY AND THEY PROVIDED ME WITH THE 2YRS OF FREE MAINTENANCE. IT IS MY SECOND TIME I TAKE MY VEHICLE FOR MAINTENANCE CURRENTLY AT 9000 MILES (ESTIMATE) ON MAY 3 2011 MY VEHICLE WAS TAKEN IN FOR MAINTENANCE A FEW DAYS AFTER (5/07/2011) MY HUSBAND DECIDED TO CHECK MY OIL AND ASKED ME IF I HAD REALLY TAKEN MY VEHICLE TO GET MAINTENANCE HE SHOWED ME THE OIL IT LOOK SO DARK SINCE I KNOW NOTHING ABOUT CARS I SAID SO WHAT IS THE PROBLEM HES SAID THIS OIL IS DIRTY AND ITS BEEN A FEW DAYS THAT YOU TOOK THE CAR IN FOR MAINTENANCE AND LOOK HOW THE DARK THIS OIL IS. Toyota stay away

Sun Toyota (Edmonton, Alberta) is a Joke. My family purchased a $30, 000 Car from them 2 years ago and a week ago I went to test drive a 2009 Toyota Matrix. I dealt with Chad, the sales man who helped with our first purchase, and I offered him $11, 500 for the vehicle; He said that wasn't do-able and gave no counter offer. I gave him my phone number and told him to call me if they ever decided to move to a lower price, he promised me that he would call if they did and said that he looked forward to being in touch.

I felt confident that with the large purchase we made 2 years before, and the strong dealership loyalty that we showed when we returned to them first, that we would receive outstanding service and customer loyalty from their dealership.

But what do I see on the Sun Toyota website today? To my shock and awe I saw the same exact vehicle that I test drove marked down to $11, 995 and I received no call about the price being lowered, when we gave them an offer only a week before. I frantically called them to check if it was still available, sadly they had already sold it the day before to someone else. They sold it for $500 more than I offered them, the original price they had it listed for was $14, 999 before they lowered it to $11, 995, and I cannot believe that they spit in my face regarding this deal. I would have been willing to buy it for 11, 995 if they offered it to me but apparently SUN TOYOTA has no customer loyalty and likes to gain your trust then spit in your face regarding any new deals. Sun Toyota is only interested in your money and is willing to *** over anyone to get it.

I will not buy another car from this location, I will scream this travesty from the rooftops to all who will listen, and I advise anyone else to stand clear, unless you like saliva on your face.

Toyota auto fraud

Horrible experience, will never buy from them! They sold me a vehicle at a price higher than there advertised price, they sold me a warranty that there own headquarters rejected, they charged me ridiculous extra costs such as state tire tax on used tires.

I had spent close to $1, 600 to make repairs to make the vehicle safe to drive, while there are still close to $6, 000 of repairs left. They don't want to take the vehicle back; they don't want to refund me. I even called Toyota corporation who basically said that they best they can do is "send back the complaint to the dealership!"

Toyota over charged

Hello,

On January 14th, 2011 at 6 Spadina Ave, Toronto, I went to get my first oil change for my brand new 2011 Toyota Sienna. There was engine light on so I showed it to a Representative at the location and he said the car needs to be diagnose ( there was not charges mentioned for diagnose) to find out what the actual problem is ( for brand new car there shouldn't be any lights on) . After the diagnose I was told that the reason for the light on was because of the " gas cap lose". I personally checked myself and I'm 100% sure that the cap was tighten up. however, I was charged $196.79 for oil change and " I DON'T KNOW WHAT". I am very disappointed with the service I've received from Toyota. The customer service was awful.

Toyota bad service

I bought a 2006 Camry from Rosner Toyota of Stafford Virginia. I was told prior to sale of three day return policy. After finding out about several safety concerns I decided that it would not be a good vehicle for my wife to drive. I attempted to return the vehicle within three day time limit. They refused to take the car back despite the safety concerns.

They would only take the car back if I agreed to lose 2500 cash even on a trade. Although their service department was aware of the problems it appears that money is the only customer they serve.

My advice from experience is Do Not Trust Them! Do Not Believe Them! I believe they are liars and give bad and unfriendly service. If you are thinking about dealing with Rosner, think twice and be careful.

State law prohibits customers from returning vehicles simply because they change their mind. Virginia is a "NO COOLING OFF" state. I have been dealing with Rosner Motors for years and they have an 'exchange' policy. They do this to HELP the customer in case something comes up. Say you co-sign with your spouse and you purchase a Limited model (i.e. expensive), and one of you loses your job, Rosner Motors will let you exchange that vehicle for, let's say a Base model...so that way you aren't stuck with high payments that you would of had on the Limited model (when you had 2 incomes), and you still get a great vehicle.

Stop complaining and do some research. Also, I don't know what type of person signs a contract without reading it, because when I purchased my car, it states right there on the contract above your signature in big bold letters - "NO COOLING OFF PERIOD".

Toyota sales practices

At the eleventh hour, owner John Ripoli stepped in and gutted a deal to buy a Prius that had been 2 weeks and many, many hours of my time (and his staff’s time) in the making. After they took a down payment, had the contract drawn up, and had me sign the contract, he stepped in and tried to extort an extra $600 (plus tax). He then appointed a "Rude Man in Chief", named Rolando Perez, to run us out of there when we refused to capitulate.

Toyota frame replancement

I had a recall notice in the mail for my 2003 Toyota Tacoma that my truck needed to have a frame replacement done on it. I scheduled an appointment to take my truck over to drop-off for this to be done which I was told would only take 2 months to complete. It took them 6 months to complete this 3 times longer than they quoted me because of certain workers were there to tell me why it was being pushed back and why it was taking so long to have the parts come in. In your parent company is going to issue a recall they need to be able to have the materials on hand to complete the job in an orderly fashion

Toyota false diagnosis/ mistreatment

My friend took his car in to get his timing belt replaced, his spark plugs replaced, and have his valve gasket replaced. They charges $1300 and took a week and a half to return it. Apon return they had used a tank of gas, and the car ran worse then it ever has before. When we talked to the service manager (first name of Doug) he told my friend that the car is worn out and old and that they will look at it but it is the best it can get. I told the man that the car has only 60, 000 miles and is not worn out. He was rude to me and told me that all of his mechanics looked at it and it is just old. I replied no you need to replace the distributor cap, i can tell because of the missfire. He told me don't tell me how to do his job and told me to leave the dealership. I don't think that Toyota would like to be represented in the way. and action should be taken. btw... it was the distributor cap. The mechanics at lithia toyota are not up to par.

I took my 2017 Toyota to SF toyota van ness avenue service place for 90.000 miles service at july .

they did good job. they recommended me to have changed water pump, i said yes. i paid $1337 for 90.000miles service and water pump.they did good job i guessed.i filled their survey and i sent it.i wrote good thing about the service in the survey.

But couple months later, i start having some problem with staring wheel. then problem was gone. then i heard some noise.i opened the hood and there was oil spills on the rihgt side of the engine.And i hear some noise like something boiling on the road.

i called the service and told the problems. It was the last day of three month service warranty.he said if i can bring the car that day they can look.

i was 50 miles from the service and i couldn't make it that day.

The person told me that he could give me an appointment but i had to pay for it. I said i don't want to pay. Even he didn't want to take a look.

My car had no problem before their service.

I used to love my car.I drive it 100 miles a day. he is only three years old.

Toyota horrible and abusive customer service

I experienced nothing but horrible customer service at Northbrook Toyota. I brought my car in March to fix a recall and to strictly get my oil changeD. Upon arrival we were ignored for a while by the customer employees and needed to request assistance before we even were helped. About 2 hours after we dropped my car off, we received a phone call from one of their customer service representatives that my car needed two tires and that it was recommended for a tire rotation. We declined this offer and thought everything would be fine. When we arrived to pick up the car, again we were ignored for about 10 minutes by their customer service representative. We received a bill of $140 dollars for an oil change; however, they went forwarded with the full rotation of tires. We asked the customer service representative who dealt with us that we did not authorize the tire rotation among other things. He became abusive and accusatory towards us and recommended we call the police if we wanted assistance.

We went forward and called the police and the police got Northbrook Toyota to lower the bill. Since then, we received no phone calls or written communication until I submitted a report with BBB. In the letter, they became accusatory towards us and admitted no wrong doing. They are purely unprofessional and do not care about their poor consumer rating and service we received. I have experienced nothing but abuse from this dealership. Be warned!

Toyota title/regristration

Purchased a 2008 Toyota Prius on 21 Jan 2011. Paid up front by check, which was negociated and processed immediately without incident. Service to the vehicle has been exceptional, staff extemely helpfull with the exception of the smart key, which I can live with. My problem is to date 4/19/2011, I am still driving on dealers tags. Without permanent plates, after 3 months I am getting concerned as to whether there is a clear title. The sales people say the original owner is out of state, and without his signature and valid drivers license, they cannot issue a certified title. There is a carfacts on this car indicating a good title. I hesitate to drive this vehicle out of state on dealers tags due to the time lapse from purchase. How would this be solved if the prior owner can never be contacted? I have all the original paperwork including the cancelled check. F. D. Adams, [protected]
